Really??? Who in the hell did Cary Sandoval, the producer/creator of Danielle Staub’s show, Social, pay off at Wealth TV to air this show? To say it’s a mess of derelict destruction would be paying the show a compliment. After its debut last week with Sir Ivan, I didn’t think the show could get any worse, but it did! I just finished watching the second show… it took me two days of starting and stopping to watch it… and it was awful, just plain damn awful, awful with a big ‘awf.’
Wealth TV: Puh-leeze, pay attention… Dump Jokerface’s show
This time, Danielle visited Ruth Katz, a divorced mother of two boys, who lives in Manhattan. Why is Danielle featuring Ms. Katz? Well, she lives in a penthouse (the seventh floor of her building, but it’s still the penthouse) and she has an electronics closet which controls everything in her apartment, along with controlling everything in her second home in the Hamptons. Ms. Katz even has an electronic awning which shades her 17-year-old dog that she has to keep outside because he suffers from incontinence…poor dog. Yep, that’s about it… Danielle walks around Ms. Katz’ apartment and stares at an art piece, stares at a dining room table, stares at the view (which there isn’t much of) and congratulates Ms. Katz for divorcing so well.
After watching this waste of TV air time, I wondered who was behind this bunch of awfulness… it’s the same person who brought you that multiple Emmy-winning production, ‘Body Shots’… http://www.carysandovalfilms.com/tv.html
And, I guess Mr. Sandoval goes by the theory that ‘any press is good press,’ as he even puts up Social’s horribly pathetic reviews on his site: http://www.carysandovalfilms.com/news.html
Danielle is no Robin Leach… she isn’t even a friend of Robin’s New Jersey cousin, Lenny Leach… and Social needs to go back to Film 101 and pick up some pointers on TV production… it’s bad, just b-a-d.
