I also heard they changed the name of the show to “Sin City Rules!” This is going to be a new brand.. That Dr. Phil episode is a rerun from almost 2yrs ago… Whatever is on that episode is as it’s called Dr. Phil Show. I have been reading all of the Norm Clarke columns in Vegas Confidential published through the Las Vegas Review Journal and I must say this show looks like it’s going to be funny, drama, gritty, hilarious and down right great! 5 powerful women who all have domineering personalities makes a mix for a great tv show! Put it into google… “Vegas High Rollers Norm Clarke Vegas Confidential”… You will see all the articles he did on them… I stayed on top of each one and was laughing my ass off on some of the stuff reported.. I know who Amy Hanley and Alicia Jacobs are but the other women never really heard of them.. Well I heard of Jen Harman but didn’t know much as she is in the poker circuit.. In my opinion Hanley and Jacobs are the prettiest ones of the whole cast… Hanley has long black hair and Jacobs has long blonde hair… From what I heard those two are the single ones of the show as well.. The rest are married.. Hanley is the youngest and Jacobs is right after her. From what I read it looks like those two took the brunt of the others dramatic behavior and kept it together for the most part.. Again it is an article so we will have to wait and see… I am excited to see what evolution did with these group of women!!

Obviously you haven’t looked at all of the women closely cause I checked them out as well and Amy Hanley happens to be very stunning as well. She is the youngest by far in her 30′s and the rest are all over 42 or higher. You better take a closer look at some of the pics before you make that call… I read Hanley used to model for print back in the day. It’s all preference however I think your comment was a little biased and you should really do your homework before you make that statement… One more thing I need to address… I want real.. Not someone who turns it on like Jacobs… You may think she will make it big but she has been reporting for years so she had to apply some acting in this show… I am waiting to see real cause it’s reality and not acting…

@Amy, I am sorry to read about the history of your mother’s story as well as your personal history with abuse and also chronic pain. I am also on pain meds and one of the biggest misconceptions is that anyone that takes them is doing so to “get high”. I teach at a university. Nobody has ever complained, including colleagues and students, about my condition. It is insulting for me to read that someone that clearly needs pain meds, who is on a responsible pain management plan, is being labeled a drug seeking “tweaker”. People who are in pain will sometimes appear a little “tweaky” because of involuntary muscle spasms (I get ‘em when my pain is really high).

Why would anyone need to convince you Amy’s Mom was a whore? She admits to being a prostitute, she brags about it. She brags about rolling around in someone else’s stolen property. Fair enough. I asked her about that and she assures me that that is not what she is doing. I really hope not too. First off let’s start using real names and not phony names… I am using mine… Let’s use yours… Couple of corrections… My mother never bragged about what happened to her starting at age 15 through her early adult teen years… I have asked you before to PROVE she was a prostitute… You can’t do that… You never have and never will cause it isn’t true… You attack a woman who was thrown into human trafficking and raped multiple times over and over again by calling her a prostitute when she was clearly manipulated by a man that was well over 10+years older than her. Can you really say Carla that a girl who is 15 can make the right decision? Is making the right decision? How about when a man who is over 25 years old is manipulating the situation. How about the fact my mother admitted to running away from home was the worst decision she ever made in her life and she did it cause there were 7 children total, no parental supervision around and she was bored? Here is what you don’t know. They have had technology now that allows them to determine exactly how you are related. It is very expensive and is very accurate. They can tell if you are brother and sister, if it is paternal or maternal relation. Well I am going to say this one time and one time only after reading all of this and here it is: We are brother and sister per the DNA test and to take it even further it is through paternal relation. Which means we have the same father but different mothers…. Now to show how much you really will lie about My father Tom Hanley and my mother. How old did you say my father was when my mother got pregnant with me??? Do you even really know???? I don’t believe you know cause you were never around like you state you were… How old were you in 1975 Carla???? How old??? Your mother was a teenager and you claim he told her all his secrets. Your mother went in my Uncles house and started stealing everything he owned when he was in jail. She was already having an affair with Peoples at that time, the house on Ogden was not hers, it was not even my Uncle Toms. If not then she wouldn’t have mentioned your mom taking stuff. Not many people can identify with mob life but most people have direct knowledge of how people go absolutely apehit over an estate. @madepiley.. Thank you for the support. It hasn’t been easy and I never claimed it to be. I noticed they have decided to use another screen name of @areal hanley to attack since @Alrac didn’t accomplish what she wanted. I have dealt with these people for the last year stalking me. They say they are not disgracing the name yet they are when they do stuff like this. That is what they don’t get. It makes the Hanley name look we are all crazy. I also just got attacked about being married again. What is sad is I married the same person again and it just didn’t work out. Things were not meant to be.. Yet I get chastised for that now. I think they know him and have been talking to him. The only other person’s mouth that stuff @Alrac said up there about me came from him and only when we started battling it out in Court. He denies it and so do they as they don’t want to get in trouble for slander, libel and defamation. I love how she says I don’t know how my Father felt about my mother, however time and time again he told me in letters how much he really loved her and how sorry he was for doing the things he did which in return took him out of my life. That is what I have and it came from him. I am saddened that these people who call themselves my relatives would attempt to take away the only things I have of him. They are mad about a lot of stuff. The fact I did get everything. The fact I was his pride and joy.. The fact I was even born. None of them know me or have even met me. They all ran, changed their names and disowned him. I will tell you this my father went many years in a grave without it being marked. I went several times to correct it and wasn’t allowed as other’s who still hated him for ruining their lives wouldn’t allow me to do it. What I don’t get is that when he was at his peak, the height of his rein so to speak which included fear, terror and shear pain they all had no problem acknowledging him, using his name and living off of him. He told me in letters how they all used him for whatever they could get yet he felt very alone and abandoned while in prison. He would look forward to my visits. He would a lot. They attacked me on how could my mom allow me to go see a murderer? They never realized or thought of the fact I was still his daughter and he was my father. One time they brought up his obituary and how I wasn’t mentioned in it. What they failed to say is it was written by a half sister of mine who did not like my mother or me as she was much older and jealous. So of course we were not listed. I use my Hanley name as it is my name and when I remarried I didn’t have time to take on his name again. I had just changed it over and we were not together long enough for me to change it back. I did get an email this morning from someone I discussed on here earlier telling me everything I said and that he was aware of it and demanding me to have it removed. I find it curious that he knew exactly where they were and how quickly he found them, yet they haven’t even had time to make it into the search engines. I also never mentioned his name. I use google alerts and they are not even showing up in there yet. So I had to wonder how he was made aware of them so quickly. There were comments made by him and @Alrac that were identical and the only place she could have gotten those accusations against me is from him. Of course I will be attacked, when someone tells the truth on what has happened and that person doesn’t want to accept it, own it and be accountable for it they do this. Make up lies to deflect from the truth. Everything she accused me of which he has done as well I spoke openly about and disclosed. I really have learned the meaning of a open book.. I was raised differently but this is the best feeling in the world to know I don’t have to be ashamed of my past, present and where my future will take me. I am in control of my life and that is the best feeling in the world. I just wish they would focus on theirs and leave mine alone. I hope they get the help they need and see this is no way to treat people. It really isn’t….

No we didn’t fight for his estate, he didn’t have anything. All he had were some personal belongings and some of my Aunt Mary Lou’s things. Those things should have gone to her children, not Wendy. No one cares about my Uncles Estate he was broke. He died a horrible death behind bars because no one would listen to our a family that he was sick, Wendy was busy banging Robert Peoples and wasn’t even in his life any longer when he died. This side of my family has been given ample opportunities to meet with me face to face and discuss what they say… To prove to me what they are saying is true… They have never done that. As a matter of fact they sit in front of the computer stalking websites that I am on and say things such as this to try and destroy me. Here is the truth. DNA tests now have the capabilities to determine how you are related and if it is maternal or paternal. Well my brother Tom Jr. and myself did come back as being related as brother and sister and it was through paternal. Another Hanley that Carla doesn’t speak to as this Hanley will not have anything to do with her came forth to give the sample we needed to narrow this down.. She is a related as a niece to us… So it made it very simple after that to narrow it down… Now I have warned this woman who calls herself a Hanley to never say that again as I have actual medical proof I am Tom’s daughter. He also signed my birth certificate, left me everything that he had after all of the attorney’s took it and wrote me over a 100 letters telling me everything about my family, him and what he wanted for me. Hopefully she get’s it and will not do it anymore… I do know this, a lot has been proven to certain parties to make sure that people like this do not slander or cause defamation and will be dealt with… It isn’t me who will do it… It is the parties that made all of this happen and I hope she takes what I say as serious and understands I can’t stop that from happening if she keeps this up…. I am not talking about physical or anything like that. I am talking about legal issues and this is something I will have no control over whatsoever… I have never used where I came from to glamorize or glorify.. My children do not live in the lifestyle nor will they… I kept my babies off of film.. To hear her say stuff about my children upsets me as she doesn’t know them nor will she ever… My children have met some of their 1st generation Hanley family that do not ever say things such as this… We are happy and content and my biggest thing is to enjoy the life to which I have been given. I don’t play victim and never will… Don’t have to… We are what we make of our lives and given the cards to which were dealt… I don’t regret my upbringing or being Tom’s daughter. I am my father’s daughter but I am not my father… I hope that solves this issue and everyone see’s what is really important to me. I have also been very upfront that I was raised by another man named Robert who was OC as well. I haven’t hid anything and been very open about my life… I can only hope this person finally gets it through her head that she can’t take away someones father like that and say the things she does without some form of repercussions. I really do feel sorry for her and the pain she must deal with inside to be so hateful, spiteful and envious… Here is some food for thought so you understand why she posts this stuff. When my mother was writing her book Carla aka @Alrac and some others sent me a message on facebook… They wanted me to attack my mother and come to their side to join up with them to write a book and all kinds of other stuff to make money… They said many horrible things about my mother. I asked them to prove it… To meet me face to face… To even call me… They wouldn’t. So I hired a p.i. and obtained their phone number… From there I called. They wouldn’t talk,… So then I began to wonder why wouldn’t they meet, talk on the phone or do anything to prove what they were saying… So I did some research.. Hired another P.I. and what I found out was disturbing.. What I will do right now is save some embarrassment for them and keep what I found out and confirmed with real proof and let it just sit here… My mother was raped, multiple times… She was lured in at the age of 15 by Teddy Binion who was over 25… I have asked them before how can a 15yr old manipulate a man over 10yrs older who gave her drugs and other things to gain control. Their response… She wanted it… She wanted to be raped, she wanted to be thrown into a brothel… She wanted to be a whore… She wanted to be ashamed all of her life for this… She wanted to live in fear… She wanted all of it… I find that very sad they would even say that about someone who was raped… I guess they don’t feel rape is a very big issue….

I’d like to know how miss amy can say that Carla is disgracing her “fathers” name? Carla didn’t say he was a mob boss and a hit man who ran Vegas. wendy and amy say that. So how is Carla disgracing his name? Carla says he was not a hit man and he wasn’t. He may possibly have filled wendy’s head with lies to make himself look more impressive to her, but he was not a hit man. How much more disgrace could be put on Tom’s name than what wendy and amy have been saying?
amy knows what her mother told her and what she has in Tom’s letters. Nothing more. Her mom was not with Tom for 6 years.
Tom did not support the Golightly family. And for miss amy to say that Tom was happy for the first time in life, is just sick. She does not know that. Its not true. She believes that because that is what her mom told her. Her mom is delusional if that is what she believes.
She did not inherit everything Tom had. She got his railroad pension and his social security check because he signed the papers for her to get those. No one else could have them so why not let her have them? Tom had three “other” children. amy was not his sole heir. Social security and a railroad pension do not mean “his entire estate”.
Furthermore, Tom did not sign her birth certificate. Fathers were never allowed to sign birth certificates. Only the mothers could do that. It was the law! I know that for a fact. I tried it. It was not allowed.
One other thing, amy keeps saying she offered to talk to Carla but Carla wouldn’t listen. One of Carla’s sister’s offered to tell amy the whole truth if she ever was ready to hear it. amy did not want to hear it. Refused to meet with her and hear the truth because evidently, she prefers her moms truth.

To disgrace the Hanley name is to go on public forums like this and behave in a manner that is out of control, spiteful, vengeful, hurtful, ridiculous and just sad. It shows that there must be some serious psychiatric issues running in this line somewhere or it may have come from others however it still gives the Hanley name a bad rap. It has already suffered enough from decisions made by My Father and Brother. It really has suffered and no one is glorifying or glamorizing it. I have his grandchildren and my biggest accomplishment is them. I want them to know the positives about him as well as know the difference between right and wrong. I want them to know that people make horrible mistakes yet it doesn’t mean they don’t love you. When I also say disgrace I am referring to how my father was disowned by most of you after his fall and none of you could benefit anymore. It must have been great for all of you when he was in control. I am sure you all reaped the benefits. As soon as it was all over what did you do? You all ran and hid and left him alone. I have to be honest. I’m kind of getting tired of it already, and the show hasn’t even started. This post has made me sad.
@Hers.. Please don’t be sad… It isn’t something I wanted to do at all but felt it was needed so it stopped with them… Take it for what it is. They haven’t been able to let go of things and want to destroy more. I will not engage them anymore as I am done and have cleared the air on what I felt was important. There is so much more to all of us than this. Trust me when I say this. This is just a small part of my life and I have moved so beyond this and them I am happy with who I am and how I turned out. It has been an amazing roller coaster of a ride and I am excited to let people in. I am sure they will move on and become occupied with another site that I am not one. So be it… I did say my peace and even offered them a chance at mutual respect. If they take it great, if they don’t so it wasn’t so. Please do not read into everything on here and know I am not saddened at all by my life. I am actually happy with who I am…. It’s all going to be great and there will be no more from me to them… BTW I did love the Captain Mohawk comment.. If your beef is with Amy’s mom, then it’s best to bring that beef directly to the source (the mother) IMO. SH isn’t the platform to address issues regarding her mother. SH is not a hate site.
We also do not attack posters by calling them tweaking drug addicts, etc. Are you aware that there are people like Amy who have chronic pain and need medication to have a life? I am one of those people. I have a doctorate in biochemistry and work at a university and without pain medication, I never would have made it through graduate school and I would not be able to hold down a job. (I only work part time right now but that’s another topic.) Under the care of a pain management specialist, I have invented two vaccines and a diagnostic test. Because of pain management, I continue to contribute to the world through both the educational and scientific sector. If I had been denied pain management and pain medication, chances are high I would not be where I am today. Chances are that I would not be living.
Did you know that a person who is in pain and takes pain medication cannot experience a chemical “high”? Biochemically speaking, it isn’t even possible. You only feel relief that you can live your life and hopefully that means alleviation of pain, but most commonly it means dulling the pain because 1.) the pain has progressed to the point that it cannot be masked and/or 2.) insensitive remarks (like the ones you made) that make the person in pain feel shame over taking medication. In regards to the twitches and jerks you referenced in a few posts to Amy about her being a drug seeking/tweaker/addict: “twitches” happen due to involuntary muscle spasms that occur from synapses of nerves when a person’s nervous system is “overloaded” due to pain.
Alrac, Just to clarify: The reason I share this is that perhaps you are unaware of what pain management entails, how chronic pain effects life and how an effect pain management plan sometimes includes LEGAL administration of narcotic and narcotic-like medications. It is all LEGAL and done so that a patient can live a fully functional life comparable to a non-pain counterpart. Pill counts and p*ss tests are part of the process. We all have something to contribute to the universe and my contributions (like Amy’s contributions) never would have occurred if I was in pain and bedridden.
Amy knows why. She has threatened me on numerous occasions and runs around spewing lies and hate. You just saw a mini tantrum last night, you should see a full blown one. She has no self control and makes stuff up as she goes along, she was off the handle last night and now she is perfectly sweet. That is a classic sign again of “abusing” drugs. There is nothing wrong with her, it is an excuse to take drugs. Your personal anecdotes mean nothing. Fact is prescription drug abuse is a huge problem, all the I hurt I need it b.s.is just that, b.s. I hurt too but I am not popping pills to the point of tweaking you can make all the excuses in the world for her, but the signs and hard facts don’t lie. That was her playing the victim again, oh poor me I was in a wreck 20 years ago and I still need to be jacked up on pain meds constantly. I call B.S. all the way! I feel bad for his guy she is bashing on here, I would be willing to bet money the poor guy never did anything to abuse her or her kids. If he had, then she is a monster for marrying an abuser a second time, who does that? Seems to be a mother daughter thing. You don’t know the story, you don’t know the lies these women have been spreading around town, the hurt they have caused. This world has become such a sad place and these shows are making it sadder.

Amy I gotta ask , Do you watch the the real housewives? Are you at all worried about the way the show might be edited? Do you get to manage your twitter account or is that in the hands of the producers? I can just imagine how excited you must be for this new show to start airing. Just prepare yourself. We dissect the piss out of these shows ’round here. If you read the other threads here you already know. I would be more nervous than a cat in a room full of rocking chairs knowing that whats already filmed I cant do a dang thing about and have no say in editing. That would drive me batty. Do they send you the tapes of the shows a few days in advance like they do the RH? If you cant answer some of this due to contract, I understand.

I am an upstanding member of society, I have never been in trouble with the Law, I have never prostituted myself, I have never pretended to be “mobbed up” for notoriety or a buck. I have never gone around spewing lies about a Family I never even knew. Seem the one with psychological problems is you. I would NEVER stay with or get back with a person that “allegedly abused” myself or my children. You say you were married to this guy for a long time and got back with him and found out one month later he was abusive. That doesn’t even make sense. People don’t all of the sudden become abusive. I am sure you remember the day at the meadows mall with your mom when you were a teen and your mother approached my elderly grandmother and started threatening her, while my grandmother was in a wheel chair to boot. You and your mother like to attack and hen retreat and play victim, that is your shtick. No one attacked anyone on here, you went ballistic when I apparently set of some sort of trigger and it reminded you of your ex. Every time we bring up something that is true you flip out. Ummmmm I wasn’t on a temper tantrum last night.. I was defending against horrible attacks and abuse. I am sorry for even engaging you in that manner. Carla I am a survivor of domestic abuse. Please educate yourself for once. There is a book called “Why does he do that? Inside the minds of angry men!” Written by Lundy Bancroft. I am defensive due to being mentally abused for years by a man. As for the other Carla you know you were caught. It’s o.k. I already knew. All of this is done for a purpose to flush you all out so it can be finally stopped. I know you spoke to him. He knew too quickly about these. He also attempted to settle using a threat.. The same threat you used in your very first post on here. Carla as for my pain management I am managed and monitored. I didn’t just suffer the auto accident I also suffered another spine injury during the epidural for the birth of my 3rd son. I hope you seek the help you need. Please tell him I said Hi. lol. I swear it all works out great when I it all comes together. I love how abusers are so predictable and will do exactly what is needed. Abuser keep attacking and attacking. @Chemgeek!!! THANK YOU!!!! It is so hard at times defending my need for the pain management. I have been attacked before and I began to think I was doing something wrong… After you explained it like this it clearly shows I am not doing anything wrong and you explained it like I have never heard anyone do before. My medication does not intoxicate me at all. I am lucky that I have been able to manage on my current prescriptions and dosages without having to increase them. I have tried some many different options and as of now nothing has worked except to be able to manage it where I can function. I could opt for back surgery however that scares me and I am not ready to take that risk. Hopefully they come out with some new miracle cure for us who deal with this so it can be cured where we are not mocked and humiliated like this anymore… Thank you again!!!
You’re welcome. The medical field is making advances but there is no “one size fits all” when it comes to pain management. You make the best choices you can with the information and adjust if something isn’t works. I understand your position regarding surgery as it is a very serious matter. Living with chronic pain can be a hard position to defend due to stigmas that lead to shame and humiliation. It’s also hard to describe that one does not get “high” or “intoxicated” on the medication. My pain doc has the regular pain scale but she also has a quality of life scale (hours of activity, social activities per week, etc). Pain free means a quality life. I get where you are coming from. I am saddened that you have to defend it as it is not your fault you are in pain. Holding out hope that your pain management plan continues to be a success so that you can live out each day to its fullest
@ChemGeek… My pain dr has that as well.. Currently I am at a 5-6pain and a 4-5 function. So I am trying to stay where I am at. I research as well to see if there is something out there that can help especially through the night. That seems to be the worst as it compounds when I am laying there. My core is also off. When I sit I will straight up but can for only a short time. I usually have to adjust my position while sitting to be comfortable… The spasms are the worst. I actually grind my teeth at night so now I am doing guards again… I don’t touch muscle relaxers. They affect me weird and I don’t like them. I currently do low dosages and it is managing. Just wish they did have something that wasn’t such a stigma such as this. It’s funny how people who do take this to get high can’t function, usually fall asleep and nod out. That doesn’t happen with me. I don’t feel any effects from my medication like that at all. I do notice however when it is wearing off as I feel the pain come on rather intense. I can function and do my work. That is what matters!

Just a few comments. I’ve spent the last few minutes reading the rants from last night.
I was especially shocked the post miss amy put on where she said on 12/1/12 ” For you to say my father was nothing”. That was in reply to being told that Tom was not in the mob and was broke when he died. So she is saying that to her, if he was not in the mob as (she and mama like to say), and if he was broke, he was nothing?
I also notice that she willingly says of her step daddy that “he was OC”. I guess she is impressed by the OC part. But she does not say that he was a pimp. Does that mean she is not proud of that part?
She also seems willing to boast that “her father” was arrested for murder three times. Does anyone notice that she doesn’t bother to say that he was not tried 3 times or convicted three times? Why is that? She doesn’t bother to tell anyone that at that time, there was a very nasty Vegas cop who hated Tom’s guts who blatantly swore that “he would get Tom if it was the last thing he ever did.” She doesn’t seem to have a problem with that. She just doesn’t want us saying Tom was not mobbed up.”‘
Also, she does not have any idea who visited Tom. None of us ran and hid or disowned Tom. The family members who changed their names, did it because they got married. That’s what happens when women get married. Most women (and all women back then) took their husbands name. . That’s what happened with my name and it wasn’t when the murder happened. I got married way before the murder. Way before.
Some of his family members were with him every day. Her mom wasn’t and she did not see him all the time. She saw him before he plead guilty when she was a year old and she saw him a few times during the three weeks he was in town for the Schmoutey trial right before he died. She did not see him when the government was running him all around the country.
As for the video with Gramby taking the 5th before congress? He was subpoenaed. He didn’t go willingly and he took the 5th because they wouldn’t let him talk to the press. And if she thinks that everyone who is in the witness protection program is there because they are “mobbed up”, then what is her reasoning for her mom being offered a spot in it? When her mom was told she could go in it, she was already with robert so she didn’t. Instead, she married him.
No family member has ever tried to profit off of Tom. The only people who use that name that do are miss amy and her mom.
When she says a paternal family member gave a blood sample for her DNA test, I don’t believe it. I know my family members and I know how they all feel about these two women. Not one of them would do it.
The only thing I am bitter about is the slandering and libeling my parents and my aunt and now she’s libeled Carla’s family. And she’s also, in the above post libeled my cousin who was Tom’s daughter. Easy to do when the person she’s bad mouthing is dead. I don’t hate amy. None of us do. We just want our family left alone and we want to live in peace and not be bullied and lied about.
You people need to watch your “star’s” behavior. She has no self control or boundaries and she keeps digging. You keep letting her.
And since one poster said we shouldn’t be talking about her mom on here, she needs to know that her mom went on Huffpost where the article was and said, “Hi, I’m wendy mazaros and amy is my daughter. One last time, no matter how many times you say it, Tom did not run Vegas and neither do you. He had some very good attributes, did some really good things. But he had a character flaw. He would screw a snake if someone would hold it for him. He didn’t have any qualms about sleeping around on his wife, who you and your mom are so happy to smear. Mary Lou never hurt anyone in her life and she had plenty of heartache but she handled it the best she could. If you had the heart you claim to have, you wouldn’t so cavalierly say Tom was the happiest of his life with your mom. While you try to make it sound sweet, I know it was a vicious thing to say and that is what you should be apologizing for. But you won’t. You’ve not no class and no heart.

@confussed. I have never hidden who I was since an adult. When asked if I was Tom’s daughter I owned it. I always said I am not my father but I am my father’s daughter. Now as a child that wasn’t in my control. I know the man who raised me from age 3 would get upset when people would ask if I was Tom’s daughter, as he treated me as his own and didn’t want anything taken away from him. I have to ask if this is someone who is with the others? I hope that clears it up. If there are any comments about the family hiding that might have confused you I am referring to other family members that went into hiding when all of this hit the media and my father was arrested and convicted for murder and went into the witness protection program.

What the problem is?
The problem is, the victims of her alleged father and Mothers crime (murder of Al Bramlett) family has to see this crap all over the television . Amy wouldn’t be on any show, no one would even know who she was if a man hadn’t been murdered. Now her mother and herself are making money off a crime her mother helped commit.
I can understand that. However I am sure the Bramlette family knows that he was into some shady stuff(that’s what I gather from the newspaper) And it might be painful but its also a cautionary tale about getting yourself mixed up that life. How it effects EVERYONE. Now obviously if Amy’s mom was involved in the murder then her mom shouldn’t profit from it. I gather you have proof of that? So far from what I can tell Amy is a victim of her mom AND dad AND stepdad’s pisspoor decision making skills so I aint mad at her for getting a chunk of change out of the raw deal she was dealt in life.
Her Mother admitted to it, she led the police to where his jewelry and clothing were buried. She turned states evidence to avoid jail time. Honestly I wouldn’t even care about Amy making some dough off it all. Except for the fact that she has been running around threatening me pretending like she is mobbed up and connected and will “dig a hole in the desert for me just like a real Hanley”, her exact words, that is a problem. I do appreciate the fact that you a least agree her mother shouldn’t be profiting from the story of a murder she was involved in and may well have been able to prevent. I have yet to come across anything anywhere that indicated your mom was a murderer. So I agree if Carla has proof she needs to provide it or stop saying that. I actually have a business to run, well 4 of them, plus 3 little amazing boys to raise, a home to care for, a family to love, honor, cherish and respect, a life to lead that is bright, happy and full of love and a past that is as real as it gets, I have a lot on my plate. I don’t get to sit at home, stalk people I have never met, post terrible lies and twist the facts while hoping someone may pay me some attention. Carla think for one second. Do you think I had a great childhood? Do you think I may have been attacked on numerous occasions because of my father? Do you think that I suffered one way or another like everyone else? He could have conquered the world on a much higher level. He also had a very dark side to him. It can’t be denied nor swept under the rug. IIRC, I remember Amy writing that the reason for her appearing tweaky was due to muscle spasms and she also wears guards at night due to teeth grinding (TMJ). I could be thinking of someone else (me or a friend) and I don’t want to scroll all the way through old posts.
On a different thread we are talking about how SCR was put into a time slot that is competing with the housewives shows. The viewers are mid-season on the housewife shows so they don’t necessarily want to tune into a new show. I tuned in, will be watching to see what evolves, but I also don’t count in the ratings. Actually chem geek you were he one that said her jaw movements were because of pain management “Did you know that a person who is in pain and takes pain medication cannot experience a chemical “high”? Biochemically speaking, it isn’t even possible. You only feel relief that you can live your life and hopefully that means alleviation of pain, but most commonly it means dulling the pain because 1.) the pain has progressed to the point that it cannot be masked and/or 2.) insensitive remarks (like the ones you made) that make the person in pain feel shame over taking medication. In regards to the twitches and jerks you referenced in a few posts to Amy about her being a drug seeking/tweaker/addict: “twitches” happen due to involuntary muscle spasms that occur from synapses of nerves when a person’s nervous system is “overloaded” due to pain.” Amy has been changing her excuses for her drug abuse every time she is confronted about it. All you have to do is watch her to see she “abuses” drugs. I am having wonderful Holidays, I hope you are as well.

Hi there, I’m sorry I have to get on this site and post to defend myself and my daughter against these two women who are clearing Cyber Stalkers who are threatening and are Liars! The women who post under marymary121, alrac and Carla Golightly have stalked me since my bio book was released a year ago… “Vegas Rag Doll” These woman are distant ESTRANGED relatives of my late husband. They were NOT around our family. They are STALKERS who post hateful lies because they are jealous and filled with misery and hate! We do NOT know these people. My late husband was never around either one of them. They barley knew him.
I have investigated trying to find out who these Cyber STALKERS are… Apparently one is a great grand niece to my late husband who lived in California. The other one is a niece from his first marriage who was ESTRANGED from my late husband. They know nothing about our family other then what they have read in newspapers and my book, then twisted and turned it into something threatening hateful and ugly. My publisher Stephens Media owns the Las Vegas newspapers and about 88 other papers throughout the Country… Stephens Media publishes Nevada history books.. My life and story has been in the media for over 30 years and well documented… My book “Vegas Rag Doll” was based on fact, media reports and FBI files and is part of Nevada history. I fell sorry for my daughter Amy as she now is being stalked by these Cyber Stalkers and I fear for her life. These two women are unstable, hateful ugly miserable people. This is the first degree of threatening, slanderous, defaming and libel Cyber Stalking!
By the way Carla, you better check with the court there has been a restraining order filed against you. Your second cousin is next. One will be filed against her today! Do you claim that you two where legit married or was this a common law, we were married in our hearts thing? How do you explain not being able to provide a marriage certificate? particularly back in the day when your union was fairly recent. and the judge required it to prove that you were married? It should have been very simple to provide if there was one. I hope you can shed some light on this issue.

@Chem. I have never changed my story. As a matter of fact me being on pain management never even came up until on here through the SH site after I went into a divorce n custody battle w my ex and he has been telling lies to people to not face his issues. I was in a major car accident at 14.5 almost 15. I was w the district attorneys private secretary n her kids. We were crossing over one of the passes near the I-15 and a semi truck ran a red light. He smashed into us doing 35-40mph they estimated. Everyone got out of the car but me! I was trapped in for almost 8hrs. It took the jaws of life to get me out. They thought I was paralyzed as I couldn’t feel my legs due to the engine literally being on my lap that whole time. I spent a long time in the hospital too. After that accident it was just the start of issues. I have compressed discs in my lower back, pinched nerves, low muscle strength in my left leg, issues with my core. In addition to this I am a teeth grinder. Developed tmj n diagnosed w it at 19. I dealt with it and eventually I lock jawed in 2001. I couldn’t open my mouth past a certain amount. I went into surgery the 1st time on Pearl Harbor day. That helped but didn’t completely fix it. I went in for a 2nd attempt in 2003 or 2004 I believe without looking at my records. The 2nd surgery helped a lot. I still have some grinding issues however n wear night guards still! When I had my 3rd son is when I had a major hiccup with my back. The anestioligost who placed my epidural did something the 1st attempt. All I remember is when he hit whatever he did I was screaming. I became so hysterical from the pain even after he removed it n placed it again I had to be knocked out. I was squirming so much on the operating table that the surgeon told him to knock me out as they couldn’t have me moving that much. I just recovered the actual video footage 3weeks ago. All you can hear me saying is please make the pain stop, I can’t handle this, please knock me out. Please please please. After I woke up 2days later which I don’t know why they kept sedating me I started having issues walking, bending, twisting, sitting and any other type of movement that required that motion. After about 6months I couldn’t take the pain anymore. I tried so many other things and no matter what I did it didn’t help. I finally gave in and sought out pain relief to function. I was scared to do this as I knew the way people try to use it against you. Just like situations like this. I will say this I did do braces in 2010-2011 that corrected my bite, straightened my teeth and has helped me with the teeth grinding. It also changed the structure of my face somewhat. But I have not had any major cosmetic surgery on my face. The medication I am on is actually low dose compared to what some people are given. I don’t even use all of my meds. I also have add. It became very difficult to focus about a year ago. I was tested and diagnosed formally 7months ago. I was put on a very lose dose of Adderral. It works. I am switching to the new one that doesn’t have the stimulant in it. But I shouldn’t ever have to justify my medical conditions. I work hard, never been in trouble for drugs, never been in trouble with my doctor. Never been tested with stuff in my system that wasn’t prescribed. To have someone say something like this is obnoxious. A person can have more than one problem. It’s not uncommon. I did every option I could to correct my tmj and now it’s very minor with the teeth grinding. Plus I now have beautiful straight teeth with a perfect bite! That’s what I love the most! I never really smiled before until I fixed my teeth!
Amy, That all sounds horrible and very painful. What a traumatic experience to be in that car accident. I agree with you that nobody should ever have to justify when it comes to medical situations and also that people can have more than one medical problem. I believe you and my recollection and understanding is that your story about pain/pain management never changed. I apologize if I made you think otherwise. Thank you for your honesty and openness. There is a terrible stigma behind use of pain medication. Of course, there is also abuse but anyone under the care of a pain management specialist is watched like a hawk. People don’t seem to understand that one doesn’t get high when he/she needs pain medication. It makes me sad that taking medication for chronic pain is used against a person. I am wishing you continued health and I hope your pain eases up because I recall you were still dealing with pain (level 5-6 maybe). I give you credit because handling level 5 pain on a consistent basis is hard both physically and mentally.
Dang, you would think with all that pain management a little gas pain wouldn’t need an ambulance. I call bullcrap, again! Scary story though, any newspaper clippings for that one? Happy Holidays!

Hey Amy, my name is Teresa and I am Tom Hanley’s great niece, which I can document through birth certificates, death certificates and DNA if necessary.
Let me start by saying that just because something is printed in a newspaper (or on the internet) doesn’t make it true. (Does “Dewey Defeats Truman” ring any bells?)
Having “hundreds of articles” about Tom Hanley doesn’t mean anything more than you have plenty of time to spend going through your mother’s memorabilia.
Let’s talk about what is true.
Tom Hanley was married once, to MaryLou. They had 5 children; Gramby, Ned, Tommy, Marsha and Judy. Tom also fathered 1 illegitimate son and probably 1 illegitimate daughter. Tom did not deny paternity of either child, and he did what he could to insure that they were cared for, including not having his name removed from a birth certificate and making sure the little girl would get his pension if something happened to him. Tom was like that. He wanted to be a hero, and he wanted to screw the government.
The boys’ mother took him and gave him to her brother to adopt. She committed suicide shortly thereafter. That is why his last name isn’t Hanley. The girls’ mother married a not so nice man, and raised her daughter using multiple names. Only recently, when it appeared she might be able to make some money off of it, has the girl start using Hanley as her name.
I do not doubt that you and your brother had a DNA test done, and that it proved you were related paternally. That would not prove you were a Hanley, just related to each other. To confirm Hanley paternity, you would have had to been tested against a confirmed Hanley’s DNA. You claim to have done this with a “niece of yours.” Let’s follow that train.
As Tom’s daughter, your nieces would be the daughters of Gramby, Ned, Tommy, Judy and Marsha. Tommy died as a toddler and Ned died without marrying. Judy had a son so it appears that you are claiming one of Marsha’s or GRAMBY’S daughters gave you a DNA sample. Do you think ANYONE would believe that?
To give you the benefit of the doubt, and presume you meant cousin, not niece, we can explore that path also. Tom had 2 sisters and a brother. Their children would be your cousins. Since you claim this sample came from a female, we can narrow the potential pool of donors to 5, including my mother. Now, we all KNOW that none of them gave you a sample. You’ve done nothing but denigrate them, their family and their family name. You never asked any of them to provide a DNA sample, because you knew what the answer would be. Nor did you ask their daughters or any of the other grand-daughters or great-granddaughter’s of Tom’s siblings. You NEVER asked, Amy.
You also say that the person who gave you the sample “won’t have anything to do with her”, meaning Cousin Carla, which really shows just how sadly fabricated parts of your tale must be. EVERYONE in the Hanley clan talks to each other. We all know our cousins, second cousins, third cousins, etc. We talk and write frequently. There are none of us who “don’t have anything to do with” another Hanley.
Let me make myself clear; I am not denying you are a Hanley. Tom didn’t insist that the state remove his name from your birth certificate when your mother gave his name as your father. He listed you as the beneficiary of his pension and benefits. He was willing to acknowledge you as his daughter. But, saying that a Hanley gave you a DNA sample is a bold faced lie. And until you show it to me, I will call you a liar every chance I get. I will do it loudly and in every public forum you say it in, just like we will continue to call your mother a liar about being married to Tom and we will continue to call you both liars for claiming Tom was in the mob.
We object to the continued fabrications, inaccuracies and exaggerations that you make with the absolute certainty that no one will call you to account for them. It seems that when your mother decided to dictate her story, she forgot that there were still Hanley’s alive that actually cared enough about their family to object. Who still feel that what happened what a tragedy and that no one should be making money off that tragedy. That the Bramlett family deserves some respect and shouldn’t have their tragedy dragged up again. You say that you know what it was like to not have your father, and you were only 2 years old when Tom died. Al Bramlett had a daughter who actually KNEW her daddy yet you seem to have no compunctions about dragging her family history through the mud again. Do you not think that this reminds her over and over that the daddy she worshiped was murdered? Where is your compassion? Your sense of decency?
We just want the lies to stop. If you say something and it’s true, then you should have proof. Your mother has claimed she was married to Tom, yet she is unable to provide a marriage certificate. She has stated that they were married in 3 different places as an excuse as to why she doesn’t have it. She doesn’t have it because it doesn’t exist. She and Tom were never married. When your father was going to be tried, and your mother was going to testify against him, do you not believe that if a marriage certificate proving she was his wife and couldn’t testify due to spousal privilege could have been provided that TOM wouldn’t have given it to the court? Tom HATED the feds, and your mother not being able to testify would have tickled him pink. Tom was never married to your mother.
Does that make you less Tom’s legal daughter? No, it just makes your mother a liar who seems to have a great desire to get you all the publicity she can. Is that because you were going through a “horrible” nasty divorce and custody battle and she wanted to get you some money by getting you on TV? Did she want your ex-husband to be afraid, thinking she might be able to call some of Tom’s old friends and have them solve your problems? If that was it, he has absolutely no reason to fear. Tom was never in the mob and certainly never passed any “mob protection” to you. Tom’s friends wouldn’t have given your mother the time of day.
If you want drag Tom back into the spotlight in a desperate attempt to make yourself feel or seem important, go right ahead. But when you say something, you better have the documentation to back it up, or a real Hanley is going to be right there to call you on it. And a newspaper article isn’t proof.

Ok i have just sat here reading every word on this page and I myself see MANY contradictions from the so called family of Tom Hanely.
#1 You all say he was not in the Mob and that only after Wendy and Amy came up with their “stories” did people start writing that he was Mob connected, So my question is this ” why was Tom in the news non stop and called the infamous killer and mob connected? this was started before the book deal.
#2 At the top of this page we have 2-3 ppl stating that Tom was not Amy’s father and thwn he was and then hes not and so on, make up your mind already, sound like its not Amy having trouble keeping her stories straight.

OK Patricia. I don’t know what you’re reading or where it is but not one of us ever said Gramby didn’t know Tom. Alrac said that Tommy, the person amy calls her brother did not know Tom. He was put up for adoption and before that, he lived with Alrac’s family.
None of us has said wendy and Tom didn’t know each other. What we do say is that they were not married and they weren’t. She claims we either didn’t know him or that we are estranged distant relatives. I was Tom’s niece. Alrac was his great niece and we were not estranged. You are placing comments on here from amazon. Things you know nothing about since you don’t know me or Alrac and you haven’t even claimed that you KNOW wendy or amy.

The mob stuff? Just because someone is a criminal or a killer, does not mean they are in the mob. amy claims he was a mafia or mob boss. He wasn’t. She claims that he ran Vegas and that nothing happened without him knowing and OK’ing it. Neither is true.
Knowing people who were in the mafia did not make some one mob connected or a mob boss. Huge difference.
He was in the paper “non-stop” as you put it because he was a union leader who was trying to start a union for dealers and no one wanted that. Making enemies in a town and having a newspaper columnist hate your guts does not make you a mob boss. He did lots of things and was accused of doing lots of things he didn’t do.
