I have been searching high and low and still dont know the exact quote but love it so much in Season 1 or maybe beginning of season 2 when Caroline Manzo was expressing her concerns with Danielle and her book and how she wanted her investigated. She had a really good quote on friends and trusting people “Before I like you, I dont like you” but there was more to it than this I am just not sure – can anyone direct me to which episode this was? I have been on youtube watching previous episodes but cannot find it!!!
Yes, you are correct, there is a Caroline quote out there going back to season 1 in which Caroline talks about having to “earn” her trust or friendship and that she “doesn’t like you when she first meets you…” Its something ridiculous along those lines. First time I heard it, it stuck in my head because I thought to myself, “what an arrogant, obnoxious and moronic” statement that is. It was around the time of her “thick as thieves” phase. She was trying to paint herself as the “all knowing, my way or the highway” matriarch of the group. I remember thinking to myself, “what an embarrassment of a woman she is.” Rattling off all of these wannabe Carmela Soprano cliche’s. I was cringing the first time I watched that segment with her back then… and I didn’t even like the woman but kind of felt a little bit bad for her because it was just so painfully pathetic, what an idiot. Her “thick as thieves” rule should come with an asterisk because it doesn’t pertain to all members of her family… it depends on what day of the week it is and which sibling it is that has had enough of her ignorant B.S. and has called her out on it.
I had her number from Day one. She was calling Danielle out for her criminal past. What she failed to remember was that her deceased father in law, “Tiny Manzo” was allegedly tied to the mob which is why his body was found in the trunk of his car with four bullets in it. Tiny Manzo was the founder and owner of the Brownstone which is now owned by Al Manzo and his brother. As “Don Caro” was sitting on her high horse, judging others, she forgot that her lavish lifestyle was given to her with “Blood Money”. And SHE doesn’t trust others until she investigates them????

Please let me know why Joey Gorga has received a pass on his behavior since Season 3, Episode 1. When called his sister “garbage” on camera on national television. We never recieved an explanation why. The result was a huge brawl at his own son’s christening that he blamed on Teresa, but he clearly started. He instigated the verbal attack and thy physical attacks. His wife and sister in laws kept berating Teresa and we never really learn why, except that she didn’t include them on filming before they were cast. And it has been constant bashing by him since.
A pass from whom? I don’t think the viewers are giving them a pass and rightfully so. The Christening scene was staged by Bravo, MeHo and her little man w/o Theresa knowing it all so that they could worm their way onto the show. Those two are disgraceful. They have no pride and will step on anyone in their path to get their 15 min. of fame. I really hope that the next season focuses on MeHo and her “Prostitution Whore” past. Penny Drossos and her hubby know all about her so please BRAVO……give them parts on the show. This show is all about the drama and as you can see….most of the viewers would love to see MeHo and mini man get taken down. The only reason that I can see as to why you have made these two clowns the new break out stars of the show is for the reason stated above. Setting them up to knock them down. You did it to Theresa now it’s the Whorga’s turn. Watching MeHo lip sync and the Wakilis is soooo boring. The Manzos are hateful but not in a way that makes you want to watch. I’m just about giving up on this show. Give me a reason to continue watching. Anyone else out there agree with me?
From what I can tell – it is ok or absolutely every single one of them to bad mouth the giudice’s, talk about their finances, how spoiled their kids are, how fake, demanding and all the other negative things they choose to say.
However Teresa is not allowed to defend herself, say anything about anyone else or even carry on like everything is fine.
I am not saying Teresa and Joe are some angelic perfect pillars of society, but at the end of the day they should be allowed to get on with their lives without being subject to an absolute bully-fest on a day to day basis.
It must be hard feeling like certain things are happening to you, but not finding out for certain until you watch it back on TV a year later.
Also people in glass houses shouldn’t throw stones, no-one else is perfect so IMO they should pipe down
jakes and her family are so jellous of tre that its not funny any more its sad , and what is she so made about tre did not do any thing too her .

I will be so glad when this season is over Im so sick and tired of all the bulling and backstabbing it’s pathetic that your own family would do the things they have done to Teresa and her husband and kids for fame!!! Why would Bravo think this would be entertaining that your family and someone who has been your friends for 10yrs and turn on you and stab you in the back for nothing other than a fame whore like Joe and Melissa Gorga!!! Those 2 are the most evil coniving and pathetic people I have ever seen was it worth it Melissa to turn a family and friends upside down just for your 15 mins of fame and to start a singing career when you cant even sing if your life depended on it!! That why you wanna to take Teresa down and turn her brother and friends aginest her? for your singing!! Really? someone plz help me understand this and lets not forget Kathy and Rich they are just as pathetic as the other 2 all in the name of fame huh? How that working for you? Knowing that people cant stand what you did and why you did it!! I hope it was worth it Joe Gorga cause women like Melissa are a dime a dozen BUT sisters like Teresa are few and far between and I hope she never gives you and your wife the time of day!! You dont deserve her and Teresa I wouldnt forgive him till he came clean and really really said he was sorry and admitted exactly what he did and he was truely humble and truely meant what he said!! Bravo hurry up and end this season already were sick of all the bs every single episode ENOUGH ALREADY!!

I feel they’re certain personal details that shouldn’t be exposed on TV. For example, Jac’s emotional breakdown regarding the magazines that Tre might be going to jail. That’s not what a good friend would do. Not everyone reads the rag magazines and papers. I don’t so I thought that was completely out of line, and I had to agree with Tersea on that. I feel Caroline has changed this season: cursing, and bad mouthing everyone including her own daughter. She’s the one with the toxic energy and should now be off the program along with her family. I thought I was watching
a show about housewives; not 25 yr olds nor the husbands.
