A Florida woman allegedly waved a gun at Wal-Mart employees after the store refused to accept an Internet coupon, according to the Wakulla County Sheriff’s Office.
“Mary Frances Alday, 61, of Crawfordville was arrested for four counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and one count of battery following an altercation at Wal-Mart that included four store employees.
Alday became verbally abusive toward a 48-year-old female employee when the employee explained that she could not use an Internet coupon. Alday struck the assistant manager with a shopping cart and was escorted out of the store.
Alday went to her vehicle and retrieved a firearm in a holster. She removed the firearm from the holster and began waving it at the victim and three other store employees who had joined the investigation.”
NOTE: What is all this “allegedly”??? There were several eye witnesses who saw her with a gun in her hand… how the hell is this “allegedly”??? Are police reports even going PC??

Speakin’ of Florida! According to the BradentonHerald, it’s sinkhole season…
As crews entombed a man who was swallowed by a sinkhole near Tampa, the earth opened up again just a few miles away. On Tuesday, in a neighboring county, officials investigated reports of a home cracking, perhaps due to another sinkhole.
Across Florida this time of year, it’s the start of what’s unofficially considered the “sinkhole season,” State Geologist Jonathan Arthur said. It coincides with the beginning of the state’s rainy season and usually lasts until the end of summer.
“Florida is famous for bugs, alligators, pythons, hurricanes and now sinkholes,” said Larry McKinnon, a Hillsborough sheriff’s office spokesman. “I think our salvation is that for most of the time, our weather is picture-perfect.”
But it’s also the weather – along with man-made factors – that exacerbate sinkholes, experts said.
NOTE: Is there any part of the USA which is NOT fatally affected by weather?

While we’re speakin’ about the Real Housewives of Orange County… Tamballs had some very interesting and telling remarks about her recent New Rochelle bachelorette par-tay and her upcoming wedding to Ellie!

“Unfortunately none of the other Housewives were in attendance, but not because they didn’t want to be.
“It was too hard for most of them to get here,” she said. “We’re still filming at home, so it’s hard to get away. I wanted Vicki Gunvalson to come with me, I really did. It just couldn’t happen. Everybody’s schedules are so busy.”
NOTE: No OC Housewife was at Tamballs’ Bachelorette par-tay NOT because of their ‘schedules’… Tamballs announced her goat rodeo months in advance!
Although Tamballs’ “bachelorette par-tay” was advertised as a “Real Housewives TOUR” with Housewives from “across the country” attending… not ONE of her fellow Housewives from ANY franchise showed up! Not even the PR firm’s most illustrious clients, da Gorgas! Do they ALL know Tamballs that well?

Naturally, Tamra, is having at least three different dresses stitched for the big day in addition to her two bachelorette parties.
“They’re all designed by Mark Zunino, who designs for Kleinfeld,” the Housewife told the mag,”A bridal one, reception one and an end of the party one.”
The O.C. gang are all invited and expected to attend, but as Tamra says sagely, “That could change!”
NOTE: At this point, Tamballs is hoping that Bravo will film her wedding. The only reason for the “OC gang” to attend would be if the RHOC is filming! That is the ONLY reason for Tamballs’ last statement “that could change”! No Housewife is gonna show up unless they’re required to be there… and the cameras are filming!
As for Vicki Gunvalson attending any of Tamballs’ functions… that there is some burglar balls Tamballs has!

In 2010, strawberry farmers in eastern Hillsborough County pumped water from the aquifer onto their crops during cold weather so that the water would freeze on the crops, creating a layer of ice that protects the berries.
So much water was pumped that more than 65 sinkholes opened in the area and wells went dry.

Apparently, sinkholes are also common in Texas, Missouri, Alabama and Tennessee as well as parts of Mexico and China….SCAAAAARY!

Hmm……… I think it’s similar to NY in its housing though……… I do have relatives there and would love to at least visit! The beaches in CA look gorgeous, although I hear that the water is almost always freezing.
YIKES! thank you for this message. I live up here in blizzard land (New England). Many people dream of retiring to FLA. one day. Not me. Alligators, snakes, swampland, hurricanes, tornadoes, and now sink holes are not very welcoming. Other than that stuff, the “weather is picture perfect.” One sink hole could really put a crimp in living there.
Nope, don’t let them fool ya. Florida is sooo overated*. “Picture perfect weather”, ha! Unbearable humidity (think 3 showers a day), suffocating heat, torrential tropical rains and daily deadly lightning storms… Not to mention the rudest people you’ll ever meet, high crime rate, terrible drivers, crappy schools, corrupt local governments, ya it’s “paradise” alright. We lived in in south Florida for over two years, could not get out of there fast enough.
*I will admit Destin, St. Augustine, Sarasota, the Keys are nice but south FLA/Miami-Dade are gross, IMO. And the picture perfect weather award generally goes to So Cal.

My sincere sympathy to the family who lost their family member in that sink hole collapse. That was horrific.
LA Shrinks, please, they each need a shrink. One couple (shrink) is getting married after living together I think it was 22 years and hes afraid to tell his father pla ezzzzzzzzzz. Another one wants a baby and her husband tells her keep taking the pill. Then we have the patients who are completely nuts. FAIL.

Thank you for saying what I’ve been thinking for a long time. Hugh-ni-brow is obnoxious. He always interrupts the chefs with his insults and stoner talk. Plus, he’s not all that. When he appeared on TC Masters, he was ousted in the first challenge. He got back on after another chef had to depart due to an emergency. That made Hugh-ni-brow more lucky than talented. Padma has overstepped the bounds of host-person with her dogmatic opinions being shoved down everyone’s throats. And Tom has no sense of impartiality at all. He’s a very poor judge, at this point. It’s HIS way or the highway.

Sink hole season is in full swing, the new OC episodes are about to start. They have the opening scene to the movie “monster from sinkhole” when they filmed Tamball’s and Eddie in the bathtub together.
