ADRIENNE MALOOF: Adrienne’s Next Move… Restaurant Wars!!!

From TMZ...

All the “she said” “she said” goin’ back and forth between Adrienne Magoof and her former cast mates on the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills was pretty boring… and it’s all the usual stuff that gets said in the aftermath of the close of a Housewives season.

HOWEVER…

Adrienne Lisa Kyle pg

Adrienne Magoof has thrown down the gauntlet on her former neighbor and shoe rival, Lisa Vanderpump!

Adrienne has announced that her “next chapter”… which we’ve all been waiting to hear… is opening a restaurant!  In the very same neighborhood as LisaVPump’s “VillaBlanca”!

“Adrienne is telling her business partners her restaurant will blow Villa Blanca away.  In fact, she’s saying on a scale of 1-10 (10 being great), her archrival’s restaurant gets a 2, calling it “a disaster.”

As for Adrienne’s eatery, it will offer comfort food — steaks, seafood with a Mediterranean twist.  It will seat 200 people and will be “celebrity friendly” — with a private entrance in the back.”

NOTE:  Was a McDonald’s franchise out of reach for da Magoof’s budget?  Will da Magoof’s new restaurant serve “celebrity friendly” chicken nuggets?  We wanna know!!!

About Stoopid Housewives

The Real Housewives franchises have become a guilty pleasure for me and I've become intrigued by 'normal' people who would agree to put their lives on television for public display and scrutiny. What are their motives to divulge their daily routines for viewing audiences to approve, reprimand, berate, castigate, attack; basically abuse and judge? Oh, just forget about the above nonsense... the majority of these people are just stoo-pid.

  1. Slaen says:

    Oh no, she di-unt!

  2. chap says:

Isn’t rating Lisa’s restaurant a 2 out of 10, and calling it a disaster somewhat on the slanderisitc side? Doesn’t this woman have anyone on her payroll that will be truthful with her? She makes a class A fool out of herself, over and over again.

    • Bubbies says:

She has surrounded herself with sycophants. She’s clueless.
She’s so jealous of other women (Lisa in particular) that she makes a fool of herself.

      • Buck Henry says:

You hit it right on the head, she is extremely jealous of other women. You don’t see her going after men like this (only Paul). She knows that Lisa is the queen bee and it makes her crazy.

    • LyndaS says:

The Empress has no clothes. She has no honest people surrounding her, obviously.

  3. BritishBev says:

AM couldn’t organise a piss up in a brewery, I doubt Lisa is sweating over this latest ill founded adventure of Adrienne’s. Or is this another small percentage stakeholder which therefore makes her the owner. Yawn…………

  4. Ann from Pompano says:

Adrienne has many contacts in the industry and I think her restaurant will do well! Now the truth about restaurants; here in S Florida, just a few are consistent and last a while the others are the flavor of the month; knowing LA the way I do, if she offers up good food and great service; she will succeed if not another restaurant in the history books.

    • Ann from Pompano says:

Other point here…..look at all the athletes and celebrities that open up restaurants; if you get the right management team, right chef, right food it will work or like I mention before work for a while.

      • donewithbravo says:

Ricky Martin had a very successful restaurant in the Miami area 11 years ago and it did very well for many years–supposedly great food, great atmosphere, well-run…….. but even that place bellied up eventually.

      • BritishBev says:

If you was a sucessful artist or business man/woman, knowing the amount of accusations how much no matter how many ‘back doors’ would you actually TRUST Adrienne Maloof? This is even before you know that Bernie is the chef or not?

Opening night, Leann Rimes, Eddie Cibrian and Cedric Martinez, I’d put my life savings on this.

For years famous people have had the delux choice of eating at Villa Blanca knowing they can trust the owner with dinner conversations.

Would you trust a sell out like AM to not discuss guests, I wouldnt’ for sure!

        • maythel says:

Brilliant observation Bev…and I agree! Would I trust a sell out like /Bag/Sag/Magie/Mae/hoofer? Hail no/ aka Nene’s accent.

  5. TV Junkie says:

Badmouthing the competition’s restaurant won’t get that idiot much business! People don’t want to hear that coming from a restaurant owner. I wouldn’t step foot in her restaurant for that reason alone. Not to mention the chicken served would probably have soap residue all over it! :)

  6. Susie says:

She can defineately outdo SUR which is a joke of a place and show. The back of SUR where all the fake arguments take place during “business” hours is a mixture of junk.I hope the SUR show tanks.

    • Bubbies says:

I think it was given the green light for season 2. Idiotic show but it’s bravo we’re talking about so…

      • Parkview says:

I confess I watched Vpump Rules and I did not hate it. Maybe I kind of liked watching younger people. I dunno. Something different.

        • I enjoyed it and I watched the reunion and the 2 late night shows. I’m looking forward to it coming back, hopefully soon. They bring a fresh air to Reality, they are real and let it all out. Ad stay out of it you’re no competition for Lisa. JMO

          • Parkview says:

Geez I hope Adrien is not doing the food business to get another reality show. Every time she competes with Lisa she embarasses herself. See Lisa actually had to learn how to manage people and how to run a business. Adrien had it all given to her. She just shows up, clicks her heels down a hallway, then disappears into the limo out back. And I love the decor at Sur. Im all about atmosphere when I go out to eat. Sur is eclectic and fresh.

        • ushuthefup says:

I watch VPR and I like it. Way better than atlanta anyday. I like watching good looking people in beautiful sunny LA.

      • LyndaS says:

I couldn’t manage to watch more than 5 minutes of that thing. The cast was comprised of kindergarteners (especially the spoiled brat chick, “Stassi”). If Lisa should have fired them all since they didn’t really care about their jobs (from the little I could tell). I think Bravo throws any concept that pops into Andy’s pea sized brain. Not everything needs to be a show.

        • eggheads2ndcity says:

I felt the same way. The show was just too ridiculous for me.
It’s all so obvious and predictable; I knew that Frank guy was the designated ‘fired’ role immediately. Jax supposedly getting some Vegas stripper pregnant, blah, blah blah…. An idiot could write these story lines – clearly bravo is filled with producers and individuals undeserving of even being called writers; having the imagination of just that -idiots! Shoddy soap opera story lines at their finest LOL!
I’m so enjoying ‘The Americans’ on FX. Some great writers and they have one heck of a talented acting cast. Justified is another well done show I’m really enjoying. Awaiting the return of ‘Mad men’.
Whenever I want a reminder of the mindless nonsense that bravo spits out, I watch the ‘Kroll Show’ – Nick Kroll does a great job of making fun of these ‘reality’ shows and the mindset behind those pea-brain bravo producers!

    • LoveVegas says:

I’ll only watch season 2 if they show more Tom Sandoval. :)

      • Parkview says:

Yeah Tom is cute and sweet but Im waiting for the shoe to drop and find out that hes a scumbag like Jax or a girl or something.

  7. french says:

    I like Sur!

  8. tibi says:

Hell hath no fury like an Adrienne Maloof scorned. After all the fry cook Bernie will most likely be cooking up the grub and selling stories about everybody that walks into their trap.

  9. Stlrfan8 says:

Good for her (IF she’s not doing this out of spite, envy, jealousy, a mood to ‘fix her’, etc). Oh wait… this is the ‘I’m so bitter about the Maloof Hoof comment that I’m going to slander everyone in my sights’ woman….. She’s just being dumb

  10. meekah3 says:

LOL! For real? Is Bernie gonna be the chef?! This bitch is just plain stoopid!

  11. romoshedint says:

Oh wow, Adrienne’s boy toy is making a come up… no more McD’s for him! Go Rod’s kid! Imagine all the riff raff he calls friends that he will bring to her restaurante. I don’t believe Lisa has anything to worry about.

  12. LyndaS says:

It’s rather ironic that a new restaurant is being opened by a woman who never eats! Ms. MyHoof doesn’t have the palate to know good food from a half portion of a personal sized pizza.

  13. chap says:

Also, she needs to stop calling viewers fans (loyal no less).

  14. originalcyn1 says:

If it’s real, it’s just another thing to slap her name on and expect to reap profits from. I’m not sure putting her name on anything this days does more harm than good. Viewers are not fans. She left the show with a bad image and unlike Camille didn’t stick around to clean it up before she left the show. Her legacy is being a lying, self absorbed, witch with money.

  15. pjbottoms says:

Here’s a link saying Miss Maloof can sleep better k ow that “she’s quit The Housewives.” Personally, I thought she slept through the entire season.
    http://www.tmz.com/2013/03/05/adrienne-maloof-real-housewives-quitting-big-relief/

  16. katek says:

good luck to adrienne. anyone who does not believe that bravo scripted everything that went on, on the show is not watching, reading comments etc. whether u sign, no subjects off limits; there are just some lines, like kids, that any moral person, would not cross. perhaps for exposure for them selves, which makes it all the more disgusting. can we say bravo, brandi, bitches. please we are all smarter than that.

  17. hudsoncountygrl says:

With this lovely Obama economy she wants to open a restaurant? Good luck with that Magoof. Maybe helicopter Ben can print you some toilet paper money we call the dollar to help you out when it starts to fail…..again, you can request a bail out from our dear leader when it starts to fall apart. Maybe he can include your restaurant in the too big to fail scam.

  18. Parkview says:

What worries me is the way Ade raved about her very ugly “Adrienne Maloof” inscribed purses in front of the designers. It was painful to watch. The purses were horrible, IMO, by anyones standards. And Adrienne just loved them. Was she too uncomfortable to say the truth? What other explanation could there be? Being nice or untruthful for many reasons, is no way to run a business, especially the ultra competitive food industry. On a side note, I hope Ade was smart enough to nix those tacky Louis Viutton knockoffs before they embarassed the rest of the handbags at the store.

    • LyndaS says:

For me, the oddest and most narcissistic thing about her purses is that she actually believes the public is hankering to own one with HER name on it. Even if there are some consumers who love designer labels emblazoned on their pocketbooks, SHE is not a haute couture designer. Why would she believe there’s a market out here for HER name, “Adrienne MyHoof”?

      • Parkview says:

Yeah I CANNOT even believe that she would think anyone would want a bag with her name plastered ALL OVER IT. Not just a tag or something…all over it. Either she is beyond stupid or shes been seeing the same doctors as Kim. Narcissistic, for sure. But this is a whole new level.

        • pjbottoms says:

Yeah I remember Monica Lewinski made handbags too…nothing holy in handbag production IMO.

        • Boondocks says:

Can you imagine if someone who had never seen the housewives show saw these purses? What would they think, alphabet purses, maybe? lol

          • Parkview says:

I bet the average nonviewer has no idea who Adrien is. I can say that I did not know what a Maloof was until I saw the show. But when you surround yourself with lap dogs and yes men, I can see how judgement can get clouded. Ad walks into her previously owned Las Vegas casino, all servers and staff are aware…ooooooh. Ms Maloof is coming today! Everything has to look perfect! What can we do for you?…….But Ad, its not because you are a star, its because you are (were) the owner. Dont get it twisted. Truthfully, I dont like any “free advertising” products…name splashed all over. That includes Louis Viutton. Also, where exactly are the purses to be sold? If its just on her personal website, that is pretty telling too. Why cant she, and other HW too, focus one one or two things? Quit saturating the market, make something good, needed, and unusual. Doing one or two things really well is much more satisfying than starting this then that, and seeing what sticks. Or dang….donate the money to charity and take the tax write off.

  19. Pinky says:

Well, I don’t see her place being “Celebrity Friendly” with her and Bernie’s need to lie and gossip to RadarOnLine constantly. It’s a 50/50 – she won’t be a success due to her business skills or good decision making skills-everything I’ve ever read about her and her brothers is they lose money and waste money on poor business decisions. Now, as someone mentioned, IF, she has good food and service, she Might pull it off – but, honestly, she has pissed lots of people off between this show, Bernie, the basketball team fiasco, etc.. Interesting. My gut says, fail – not to be mean – she just doesn’t seem too smart. At all.

    • LyndaS says:

In S-1, she seemed very smart and calm. I actually liked her demeanor. I never, ever liked her Yenta-cook, Bernie-BigMOUTH, though. In S-2, she started to get into Lisa’s face about everything (especially at the reunion!). I think she brought Brandi (of all the people she might know) onto the show because of the connection with Cedric. She probably thought Brandi’s presence would bother Lisa. Instead, that plan backfired. Brandi wasn’t all that close to Cedric anymore and ended up palling around with Lisa by the end. Poor Adrienne. Her work ethic is fueled by speculation and spite and jealousy. I now feel she isn’t as bright as I had originally thought.

  20. itsme says:

omg…I hoped she would disappear or ride away on her broom.

  21. madepiley says:

Comfort food? Lemon scented Joy dishwashing liquid infused chicken? yum. caint hardly wait.

  22. sd says:

You know what this reminds me of? The way the New Jersey housewives always have to bring up Teresa to garner attention for their projects. If Adrianne had just opened her restaurant without bringing up Villa Blanca’s name would anyone really care? By bashing Lisa and her restaurant she has had a ton of free publicity. She is using Villa Blanca’s fame to get attention for Bernie’s payoff for spreading lies on facebook, trolling blogs and selling stories to ROL so she can keep her hands clean.

    • SHfan says:

Good ‘ol school logic…..if you don’t have anything nice/good to say ….say nothing at all. Having been in a competitive business for a hundred years…. I have more pleasure highlighting my “business” and separating our differences. She coulda just said she was gonna be in the area and use Lisa’s already established biz/traffic and say that we are just different so try us out method….

  23. LyndaS says:

A-Drain probably thinks she too cool for school. The rules don’t apply to her. And SHE can get or do anything SHE wants.

  24. OCwoman says:

If Adrienne thinks throwing money and her name at a project guarantees success, she’s delusional. We all know that owning and running a restaurant business is very demanding. I doubt Adrienne has the chops for it. Lisa is successful because she has the experience, the work ethic, is hands on, and is truly invested in her business. It’s not a vanity project like Adrienne’s shoes and handbags.
