An interesting bit … Read the last statement!

Dishonoring the Corps; Marines in inaugural parade had bolts removed from their rifles

Dishonored and disarmed: Bolts are clearly missing from these Marine rifles during President Obama’s inauguration parade. This is an unmistakable insult to the honor of the Marine Corps.

David Codrea has revealed that President Obama has so little regard for the United States Marines risking their lives under his command life that they were forced to dismantle their already empty parade rifles for his second inauguration parade. This is nothing less than a slap in the face of the Corps:

“Didn’t know the Marines had to take the bolts out of their rifles for the Inaugural,” an email forwarded to Gun Rights Examiner from a United States Marine Corps source observed. “Wonder if someone can explain why [they] would be marching in the inaugural parade with no bolts in their rifles!”
The email linked to a YouTube video of the 57th Presidential Inaugural Parade, embedded in this column, featuring Bravo Company Marines from the Marine Barracks Washington. Sure enough, the observation in the email is confirmed by watching the video, with screen shots provided in the photo and slide show accompanying this article.
This prompted an internet search to see if others had also noticed, and the Blur-Brain blog had.
“The bolts have been removed from the rifles rendering them unable to fire a round,” the post stated. “Apparently Obama’s Secret Service doesn’t trust the USMC. Simply searching each guy to make sure he didn’t have a live round hidden on him wasn’t enough, they had to make sure the guns were inoperable.

Obama doesn’t trust the very men who put their lives on the line to serve their country. I guess it shouldn’t be that much of a shock.

Untrustworthy people find it very difficult to believe that other men have honor.

You can see the disabled rifles around the 1:15 mark…

WHO, HOW and WHY did they ram that healthcare bill through?

AND God made…

About Stoopid Housewives

The Real Housewives franchises have become a guilty pleasure for me and I've become intrigued by 'normal' people who would agree to put their lives on television for public display and scrutiny. What are their motives to divulge their daily routines for viewing audiences to approve, reprimand, berate, castigate, attack; basically abuse and judge? Oh, just forget about the above nonsense... the majority of these people are just stoo-pid.

  1. Miles Perkins says:

I watched the video of the marines marching in the inaugural parade and was surprised that they didn’t have to put some sort of plastic protective caps over their bayonets to render them harmless too. Sheesh!
    Miles

    • Miles: Could NOT believe it! But, there it is… the reality of it! WOW. TFC!! SH

      • Buck Henry says:

There’s been lots of rumors about Obama and the military and it’s not good. The top brass in different fields of the service being let go sounds like a purge. Something must have been attempted and was either thwarted or told not to do it. LIke rouge military units.

  2. madepiley says:

That priorities poster says it all.

  3. kel says:

He knows what he is doing to this country, and he knows anyone patriotic enough to serve knows it too…

    • Hanna says:

So true. He knows EXACTLY what he’s doing. Has anyone seen 2016 Obama’s America? If they doesn’t scare you, I don’t know what will.

      • madepiley says:

I saw it. It explains perfectly the agenda when it comes to Obama’s “global agenda” and how America will have to poorer for him to achieve that goal.

      • shelagh5 says:

I have and it scared the sh*t out of me… For some reason, Obama doesn’t look as nice as he use to… 4 more years, you can’t touch this! He’s an evil man…

      • I saw it and yes it is scary. I am proud to be an American, that’s more than I can say for the Prez. I am also proud of our military. SEMPER FI. That short video gave me the chills. GOD BLESS AMERICA.

        • shelagh5 says:

My husband is a marine, once a marine always a marine, he is 62 now, but he was sickened with the rifles being disabled… They clean those rifles daily, and call them their girls… How dare they…

  4. Planned Parenthood poster was reading my mind from this morning. Freaking baby killers!!!

  5. Parkview says:

“Untrustworthy people find it very difficult to believe that other men have honor”. Wow. This pretty much sums it all up, doesnt it? Just like unkind people are suspicious when others are kind to them. They dont understand it. I believe in the honor of the American spirit. The President, unfortunately, does not.

  6. Idagal says:

We are becoming one effed up country.

  7. originalcyn1 says:

The Daily pointed out in a Friday column that more Chicago residents — 228 — have been killed so far this year in the city than the number of U.S. troops killed in Afghanistan – 144 — over the same period.

The war zone-like statistics are not new. As WBEZ reports, while some 2,000 U.S. troops have been killed in Afghanistan since 2001, more than 5,000 people have been killed by gun fire in Chicago during that time, based on Department of Defense and FBI data.

Chicago’s murder rate is also currently quadruple that of New York and double Los Angeles’ rate. It appears gun control only helps the criminal and puts our lives at risk. If Chicago is a model for gun control we need to take a reality check.

    • Kimpton says:

So much 420 use in CA that people aren’t violent anymore. ;) I think gun control in CA has helped as did the crack down on drugs and gangs, especially in LA. More importantly though is the change in attitudes. People in the worst neighborhoods wanted the shootings to stop, and the communities started helping themselves. The type of drugs being used and the distribution has changed too. CA’s violent crime rate is what it was in the 70s. I did some charity work at a church in Compton and they told me that things are much different now. I suspect that the south side of Chicago is similar to LA in the 80s & 90s- a war zone. Gun control alone isn’t going to do anything.

      • originalcyn1 says:

Tell that to my daughter who’s home was broken it by a drug addict and had to pray to God he didn’t find her hiding. This was just last month in CA. Just for fun they trashed her car. Sounds violent to me.

        • shelagh5 says:

I’m so sorry Cyn, that must have been horrific for her, and being a mom… I know how much you worry… It’s not the country we were brought up in..

          • originalcyn1 says:

She may not be able to have a gun there but she is loaded for Bear with pepper spay and I do mean the kind for bears.

        • madepiley says:

Oh my! So sorry to hear of your daughters ordeal.

          • originalcyn1 says:

Life in the big city. It’s a shame that she worked her butt off for someone to steal her belonging and why ruin her car. The morons stole her phone and that’s how they were caught but not before they sold all her stuff. Amazing they used a torch to break into her garage. Thank The lord they are off the streets for the next 8 years.

        • @originalcyn1 I am so very sorry about your daughter. Thank God she was ok.

      • Ana Cephaly says:

The three strikes law keeps many career criminals off the streets and where they belong–behind bars like the animals that they are.

  8. madepiley says:

If Obama had his way he would have our military marching with frilly pink parasols so as not to upset our enemies.

    • originalcyn1 says:

What does it say about our president and government that you have disarm your own military for your protection?

  9. shelagh5 says:

I find myself shouting at the television … What ever happened to our country? Why does the press ignore the facts that have been put it their faces over and over again… It pains me to see Obama laugh at America… Enjoy it… And laugh some more… When is this going to stop… Is everyone so afraid of this man, does he walk on water, does he wear a halo… What has our country become.. They will understand when there is nothing left… I love this country, he can’t take that from me… But I have no respect for reporters, freeloaders, baby killers, And people that believe I owe them something, just because i work… Bull crap!

    • madepiley says:

Its the dangest thing to watch the media and hollyweird circlejerk(no other word for it-sorry) around this man. Infuriating.

      • originalcyn1 says:

You know it’s bad when staunch supporters were saying how wrong it was for Ms. Obama to be at the Oscars and make it political. I am hoping This regime has become so blatant that people will wake up.
Did you see this. I was surprised MSNBC reported it.
But those contributions will also translate into access, according to donors courted by the president’s aides. Next month, Organizing for Action will hold a “founders summit” at a hotel near the White House, where donors paying $50,000 each will mingle with Mr. Obama’s former campaign manager, Jim Messina, and Mr. Carson, who previously led the White House Office of Public Engagement.

Giving or raising $500,000 or more puts donors on a national advisory board for Mr. Obama’s group and the privilege of attending quarterly meetings with the president, along with other meetings at the White House. Moreover, the new cash demands on Mr. Obama’s top donors and bundlers come as many of them are angling for appointments to administration jobs or ambassadorships.
        Our Government for sale.

        • originalcyn1 says:

I’m not surprised that it happened as much as I am that the mainstream news reported it. I miss the days that reporter looked for real stories and people wanted to see them.

          • shelagh5 says:

Those were the days… I miss listening to real reporting, not this suck up stuff.. Watergate, heads rolled, Monica, he did have sex with that woman. Good old fashion tell the truth days.. It’s a shame

        • shelagh5 says:

Yes Cyn I heard about this. 500,000 bucks to rub elbows with the almighty Obama… Truly if someone say a republican did what this man and his lap puppies do, they would be on it like white on rice… They have bullied the reporters, bob Woodward, and finally I think about five other reporters are saying they where bullied… When they hold a press conference, they allow certain reporters to ask questions.. I am sure they have already gave them the questions to ask… In my day, reporters asked the hard questions, and asked and asked again.. Until they answered… Does the almighty Obama get asked, hardly if ever.. He is our leader in chief… He is watching over us, he controls our military, he wouldn’t even wear a flag on his suit, until someone noticed, before he was elected the first time… Didn’t they think that was odd… I did!

        • lisa the Irish Dragon says:

Does anyone remember the Lincoln bedroom scandel, selling a chance to sleep there
I believe that was during the Bush Administration.

          • Kimpton says:

            Clinton

            • Parkview says:

Well if it was Clinton, I hope the contest rules were real clear as to the meaning of “sleep”…….

              • Park: It was Clinton. But, it depends on what the word “it” means! LOL!! TFC!!! SH

              • Parkview says:

Ya know, as underreported as Clintons shenanigans were back then, I bet it really burns his toast the passes being given to the current POTUS these days. If this one sold chances to sleep in the Lincoln bedroom or lied under oath about his numerous affairs, most of us would never hear of it. Or it would be spun, somehow, into a good thing. Dont get me wrong, Clinton got the “good edit” much of the time too. But, nothing like the media coverups and flat out refusals to cover any wrong doing, like we see today. Hillary, too. She must be burning up watching this one jet from vacation to vacation, one egregiously incorrect statement given after another, while she had to endure the ebarrassments handed to her by her husband, delivered by a media that couldnt get enough of their soap opera drama. Remember Hillary campaigning in the Dem primary against Obama? When the media glossed over his “Ive been to 57 States”.,. blaming his exhaustion for his inability to recall the actual number of US States. Yeah. She must really hate him, too.

            • lisa the Irish Dragon says:

My point being The WH has been for sale for a long time, this isnt something Obama came up with but of course he gets the blame and the others before him dont.

              • adioslunatic says:

I believe the most childish argument one can have is “but they did it too”

In his own words:PRESIDENT BARACK OBAMA: The cynics, the lobbyists, the special interests who have turned our government into a game only they can afford to play, they write the checks and you get stuck with the bill. They get the access while you get to write a letter. They think they own this government, but we are here today to take it back.

That was then-Senator Obama launching his campaign in 2007 talking about the access of the big money into political campaigns and having influence in policy.

Now former Obama campaign manager Jim Messina is heading up a group that has transformed, it’s called Organizing for Action (OFA), it’s an advocacy group. And they are doing a few things. Here’s a few of them. They’re bringing in OFA donors who bring in $500,000 they’ll have quarterly meetings with the president, big donors. They also meet with President Obama at the White House, unlimited personal and corporate donations. And there are some critics of all this, especially what the president said about the influence of money in campaigns.

He is a hypocrite and a liar.

              • lisa the Irish Dragon says:

Well I cannot comment on a sitting President
But I do understand what you are saying My point again is all the blame is being heaped on him as if all the others were blamelss and this is something no one else did. The goverment has been sold to donors for as long as there has been a Whitehouse. Is it right nope sure isnt, but it wasnt right when Clinton,Bush and Reagan or the others did it to.

              • Kimpton says:

I would be more inclined to agree with you if Obama didn’t run on a platform of hope, change, and transparency.

              • lisa the Irish Dragon says:

Well to a certain extent all politicians are like that.

              • adioslunatic says:

You can’t comment on a sitting president? Where the do you live – Venezuela? Our first amendment gave you the RIGHT to say whatever you choose!

Also, I have never seen a scandal reported about Bush or Reagan selling the White House or private meetings. If they existed you better believe it would have been reported.

Fun fact: The Birther movement was triggered by Hillary’s campaign in the ’09 primaries. Her team was searching long and hard for proof that Obama was not born in America.

              • adioslunatic says:

                * “07 Primaries.

              • lisa the Irish Dragon says:

I am a federal Employee I cannot talk bad about the president in public eps on a blog. I can get in trouble and lose my job…Now Speaker of the house thats a different story ask me about my opnion on Bonehead ill talk all day. Once Obama isnt the President ill give my opinion good or bad.

              • adioslunatic says:

Someone is pulling your chain, you most certainly speak against the president. These are the ONLY restrictions that you fall under:

                http://uspolitics.about.com/od/usgovernment/a/hatch_act.htm

              • lisa the Irish Dragon says:

I have worked for the goverment 30 yrs I know what i can do and what i cannot do and what can get me fired or disaplined. I also take my Oath of service very seriously.

              • adioslunatic says:

Typical. I show you- in black and white- that your speech is free and yet you say no. Believe what you will and remain a prisoner in your own skin.

              • lisa the Irish Dragon says:

i know you think you know everything but you dont.
I have been doing this for 30 yrs dont try and tell me what I know and dont know, What is in “black and white” as you say is far different then what goes on in reality, so get back to me when you have been a goveremnt worker 309 yrs Ok, Untill then you can keep thinking you know everything.

              • adioslunatic says:

So, if I’m reading between the lines correctly, you are claiming that – regardless of the LAW – you have been threatened with loosing your job for having an opinion? If so, that is actionable BY LAW because, wait for it – the LAW says that you are entitled to your own opinion.

Or, you are being disingenuous because you like the POTUS and just don’t care to talk about him. I can respect that; what I can’t respect is telling me that you are in danger of loosing your job for having an opinion on the sitting POTUS, which is empirically false.

BTW – I have held elected office, have been an appointee of my state and was offered a federal appointment as well. I know the Hatch Act like the back of my hand.

I have found in life we choose our own prisons.

              • lisa the Irish Dragon says:

Thanks for your concern but I am not in Prison or anything else.

              • originalcyn1 says:

Wingman here. Lisa has a right to comment or not comment. If it makes her job less complicated to keep her opinions to herself so be it. What is the law and what is real life often are two different things when it comes to the work place and the military. Such is life.

              • madepiley says:

I agree, if she chooses to not comment. Saying that she cant and can loose her job is what is scary so I can understand people wanting clarification of that. Most companies, gov or not, will poo-poo the idea of talking politics or religion on the job but EVERYONE is FREE(key word) to say(or not say) anything they want to on social media, blogs and whatnot. The day they are not is the day we have a more serious problem than I ever dreamed. NOw if Lisa is commenting on this blog using gov property then that might be an issue. Not what she chooses to say or not say but what the gov would call “misuse” of property. If its her own device, pc or phone she is using then she should be fine…..provided its not during work hours. But that would never happen right Lisa? A government worker would NEVER yuck off while on the clock… right? winky face :)

              • lisa the Irish Dragon says:

Thank you Cyn. You are 100% correct.

              • lisa the Irish Dragon says:

Mp…I have a opinion and I do express it however not on social media or on blogs on duty or off on a gov computer or not. Can I lose my job i could but its unlikey I am Unionized after all depending on what I said disaplined yes told not to do it again for sure. Freedom of speech is not absulute like people think restrictions can be made by employers. If you think for one minute I can walk the streets with a big OBAMA SUCKS PIN OR BE SEEN WAVING A Impreach Obama sign you would be mistaken. I appreciate people trying to tell me I am wrong I am not after 30 yrs I know what i can do or cant do someone who works for the IRS may get away with more I work for the DEPT OF DEFENSE the Prez is my Commander and Chief. People may not take that seriously but I do. Good or bad thats what he is so keep telling me I am wrong keep harping about the Hatch act..real life is different then what is said on a Web site.

Have you ever watched the series House of cards? It’s on net flex … Politics at its worse… It’s what the government is… A sham…but it’s a good show..

      • chockfullofnuts says:

as the cia call it, what the media and hollywood are feeding us is called “Con-fed f house”

    • kel says:

What is really scary is that we do not know how bad things truly are. We don’t see everything the government is doing, many things are passed so quickly and without media coverage that it is almost daunting to think what has been put in place. We may soon refer to these days as the good ole days..

  10. SHfan says:

I had a real issue this weekend when a man walked up to my door and said he was hired by the town I live in to do a survey of homeowners income. He did not even show me a badge or ID or explain to me “Why” the town would need this private information. I told him I was not comfortable telling him my personal information. He showed me his cipboard with some random number (234) like that was suppose to make it official and or eliminate my concern of confidentiality. He seemed annoyed when I told him I was not going to give him that information. Then he had the nerve to continue by saying….”So, what you are saying is you refuse to give this information.” Call it whatever you want. It is my private information. I called the town this morning to ask about this incident. I was told they were suppose to be doing this by phone and they were suppose to ask general questions; Is your income above or below this percentage, etc. I was also told by my town that it was for grant money. Sorry….I am not playin that game.

    • shelagh5 says:

I agree, I wouldn’t give anyone any information.. The way things are now, is not how it use to be For a grant… Hell can the government take any more money out of your check… We are taxed to death in this country… A grant for what? They can take that grant and shove it where then sun don’t shine.

    • eggheads2ndcity says:

I can’t believe it was explained away as something ‘supposedly’ even legitimate. I was expecting to read, that you were told ‘it was some solicitation and to NEVER respond & if it happened again – to call your sheriffs dept.’

        • Idagal says:

          Me, too!

        • shelagh5 says:

Ditto Barb, I usually vote the same way.. It’s funny, I live in an area where cars drive by my house off the expressway… And it’s a one way street.. When they want my yard for election, to throw there signs up… They act like your best friend… But you ask for anything from them after the election, forget it… I don’t allow signs, and if I want one, ill pick it up myself… I’ve done that..

  12. Parkview says:

Its not the extremists that worry me. Its the people who flutter through life, not caring one way or the other which rights are taken away, casting their votes willy-nilly, depending on which candidate has the most feel good speeches. Dont be fooled by those who try to cloud the issues with lengthy, PolySci 101 commentary. It is very clear. The President has stated very publicly what his intentions are regarding our right to carry weapons, among other things. And when someone tells you WHO he is….you should believe him.

Love that you are posting this kind of stuff, Ms SH! Keep it coming – this is so important!!

  17. Brigid says:

I am so glad to see this here. These past few years have been very lonely, I’ve lost many friends over politics. My husband and I are pretty isolated. In losing friendships with liberals who have rejected me because of my/our political beliefs, I have gained a deeper understanding of myself. And those who voted this monster into office, who know nothing about him, no idea whatsoever of his background and the ideological milieu he springs from, well, those friends I have pushed aside, tired of their unearned benefits, food stamps while they work under the table, sitting on their asses complaining about Republicans and calling the Tea Party stupid when they don’t even know what it stands for, while I go to work while going through cancer treatment. I can’t have that commitment to evil and the destruction of everything this country stands for, in my life, so they have got to go. I have been immersed in liberal leftist academia my whole life, and was once one of them. Then came 9/11. No more. Thanks, Ms. SH and the SH army. And right now, I’ve got my honorary grandpa, Michael Savage.

  18. madepiley says:

I know people that work for a VA hospital and they can and do talk all da chit they want to all day about the POTUS.

    • adioslunatic says:

Hey Made – I can’t respond above ( got too skinny) but I wanted to say your remark was an excellent clarification of my point. I do not want anyone thinking that

      • madepiley says:

I understood exactly what you were saying adios. Sorta odd that speaker of the house can be talked about huh?

        • adioslunatic says:

Lmao! yeh, third in line is fair game! I shined it on because I have no patience for name calling when not going for a laugh. I’m a snark purist!

          • adioslunatic says:

            * 2nd in line- VP then Speaker – jeez, I better give it up for today.

One more thing: @ Cyn I applaud your efforts to find common ground but the fact is complacency is a dangerous thing- I will never condone frivolous lawsuits but a lawsuit of this order would only benefit ALL citizens- whether public or private sector employees. We live in a free country and our right to speak out against the government is a constitutionally protected right, nothing to sneeze at or to ever be acquiesced.

            • originalcyn1 says:

I have to admit that more than once I have worked in an environment that infringed on my rights. Unfortunately my job was my life source so challenging them and having the law on my side wasn’t an option. Should I have stood up and fought for what was right, yes but sometimes real life gets in the way.
Six years later I did get monetary compensation after many more women were harassed and complained. Not to mention the company was big enough to be used as an example.
Lawyers cost money and government agencies move slowly all of which work against you even if you are right. Not everything in life is cut and dry.
I understand your point but no everyone is a Norma Rae.

Sometimes you have to pick your battles. People think restrictions on your freedom of speech cant happen, it does in everyday lIfe. Censorship exsist in everyday life. Yes we have freedom of speech but restriction can be made in certain situations like what can be said by a employee if said employee dosnt like it they can quit. I am proud to work for my goveremnt I served in uniform and out I support the President and took a oath. My personal opnions about him will stay private until he isnt President anymore.
Sorry that seems to be a issue with some.

The issue is that you are saying you cannot speak your opinion outside of work which is a fabrication – that’s the issue- not whether you choose to or not because it IS your choice. Saying you will be fired is intellectually dishonest.

                If you say so.
Who am I am I dont know everything like you seem to.

@Cyn In this day and age it is quite different and you don’t need to do a Norma Ray, laws are clearly defined. Before I was self employed I quit a “good job” because I was sexually harassed- this was pre-sexual harassment suits – I quietly looked for another job and then quit. There is always an alternative- always. I am NOT discounting your situation or how you handled it, that was your journey-but, I have always been of the mindset that there is no end all/beat all of anything, that kind of thinking – IMHO and MO only – is too defeatist a way to live. I will never allow anyone to victimize me no matter the personal cost. Again – I am not discounting your personal experience – just explaining mine.

I agree but age and circumstances have changed so much about who I am now. Isn’t that always the way.
I am so much happier at the age I am now than in the past. Being 21 isn’t all that it’s cracked up to be.

              • adioslunatic says:

@ Cyn Ya got that right! What we thought was so vital almost seems a joke now…closing in on your mortality will do that to you! Lmao!

Whats so scary about what Lisa said was that the Secretary of State( I assume she is fair game?) tried to make censorship for American citizens a real thing immediately following the Benghazi attack with operation “It was a YouTube video” Not a doubt in my mind that if they could have made that stick they would have. Using tragedies to further their own twisted agenda…. Sandy Hook.

CONT: thinking that a federal employee loses their right to the First Amendment i.e. freedom of speech. There are far too many misconceptions out there about government.

Ps. I am going to school myself here- it’s LOSING not LOOSING – moron. See- I get even more peeved at myself for mistakes than I could ever be at someone else for a mistake. I will now place myself in the corner with a copy of Merriam-Webster…
