IMO, like all the other Bravo Housewives franchises, the OC has wrung out every last drop of any possible story line. It don’t matter that they all go to Mexico for Tamball’s bachelorette par-tay or that they have a new chick as a full-time Housewife… every franchise has become interchangeable and we all know what’s going to happen.
If you didn’t… here’s a shocker re the RHOC: Crooksy is still sending those affirmations to Vicki...
AND… Tamballs is still gettin’ her Bravo “wedding” story line! And watch for lots of scenes to take place in the new chick’s art gallery.

OC was what got me hooked on HW’s. Remember when it just showed their actual lives and flashed what stuff cost on the bottom? I LOVED that! I liked Lauri and Jo and the really sweet lady who moved b/c she got skin cancer (think her name was Kim?). Anyhow, Miss Andy apparently got the idea to start encouraging people to make asses of themselves instead, and now we have this disaster that’s basically “The Bachelor” with no actual bachelor. I can honestly say that I won’t watch this season cuz I can’t stand ONE of those screaming banshees!
Meekah, I’m with you. RHOC was what got it all started for me too. I used to never even dream of misssing an episode, I loved it. I already decided not to watch this year and just follow recaps like I did with Atlanta this year. Last year I did the same thing with Altanta and New York but I do admit I caught the whole season of NewYork on a marathon. I have no inclination to do the same with Atlanta last year or this. I feel kind of cheeted that a show I used to love so much has deteriorated to the point that it is hardly recognizable. Oh well. I wonder which franchise will be the canceled first? It’s obvious it has lost it’s luster. I think it’s only a matter of time.
I’m the same way. The first season of each franchise was good and then they started filtering out the decent people in favor of trash. Either that, or the decent people wouldn’t play along, like DeShawn on season 1 of Atlanta. New York used to be my favorite, now it’s just stoopid. The only one I plan on watching from here on out is NJ and if it’s more of the same, I’m out. I’ll finish out this season of BH, but I’m not even into that anymore.
aww, I almost forgot about DeShawn. I’m with you but I’m not sure If I can do New Jersey. I want to watch but it gets so down and dirty here. People just really relate personally to these women and the all out battles I see here litterally stress me out. I know everyone has a right to say how they feel but I hate it when it gets nasty. Maybe I’ll do the oppisite for New Jersey and watch it but not read the blog! lol You know I”m a liar, I’ll be here, maybe Jax can give me a xanax before each show!

Luv to watch TamTrash loose her cool when Alexis tellsl her to button it. Her whole wedding storyline will be such a snooze. Who wants to see a middle aged mean girl’s THIRD!!!! wedding?
Won’t be watching……same ol crap / different city. I am happy to read This blog every day and everyone’s comments. Oh and for TamHo to be such a workout freak – man those arms were a joggling-NO TONE AT ALL….hmmmm….wonder if she just took some diet pills to lose weight and really doesn’t even exercise that much. I read her new Gym was a flop – may have read it here.lol Gosh, I don’t like any of these women except for Alexis and that is not enough to waste my time tuning in. Bravo so totally sucks.
I really like Briana, and I’m glad she’s still involved with the show.

I’ve FFwded through Shame Slimey for 3 Seasons now – Gretchen is unwatch-able as well. Then there’s the rest…..lol 
I see we are in for yet another recycled scene. The hated househusband is signed up for ballroom dancing in the hopes he will say sumpin homophobic.
And uuuuuuugggggg Slimey ought ta be permanently neutered. That oughta be a law. You can’t pay for the one you have then you aint allowed to have no more. Really hope that this is just a BS storyline and they really are not trying to make babies.
I think Gretchen wants a family but she does not want the criticism that comes with Slade. Sorry Gretchen. I think she should exit stage left have her family with Slade quietly off camera and keep on showing up at fundraisers to keep up her image. There is too much history and finger pointing to go ahead with this storyline and come out unscathed … Or in Slade’s case free of rug burns). Gretchen, have pity on us loyal viewers….we will not drink the Koolaid and pretend Slade and you for that matter are beyond reproach. Just sayin’…
Pj, you hit the nail on the head. She doesnt want the criticism that will undoubtebly come from creating a baby with Slade. She KNOWS she will always be the main financial supporter and I think she is ok with that. But she worries that her “brand” will suffer if she has his baby. I cant imagine how her brand does that well to begin with, so Im not sure how much suffering her brand would take. But, girlfriend isnt getting any younger. And Slade isnt getting any smarter. Or stepping up his dad game….so it appears. She had better decide soon.
I’ve never gotten into this show, perhaps I will give it a shot this year.
I am not lookin forward to watchin more fake scenes with Gretchen and Slimey. It is so obvious that their drama is fake, probably manufactured by wannabe producer Slade, to make Gretchen remotely relevant. The entire show is just Gretchen being “hot”, Alexis being oppressed by Jimbo, and a buncha nonsense bickering between them all. With a side of gigilo Crooksy.
I would rather watch Gretchen anytime over Vicki, Tamra and Heather.
Really? I just see her as a tarty trick type. Vicki used to be ok, I used to be able to stand her, before Crooks. Tamara is so far gone it is hard to watch.
I find each and every male counterpart on RHOC suffer from being weak characters. Most of the women have become bombastic morons. But the men (& I use that term loosely) are surprisingly compliant to be sub par. Each one is worse that the other: Eddie has zero charisma and no chemistry with Tamra; Jimbolino controls and preaches to his pulpit of one; Brokes makes me sick whenever he speaks and the Sladester is a transparent wannabe with no visible means of support and less talent. This show is circling the drain now.
Well, based on the preview and the picture of them all at the top there, I still think Alexis looks the best (albeit the most ditzy yet able to control herself the best when confronted by the other hags), Heather looks like that ventriloquist dummy in “Magic” with Anthony Hopkins, something happened to Gretchen’s face and hair (not for the better), Tamballs is sneering (as usual) like a sexually frustrated or constipated pit bull, Vicki is hanging on by a thread, and the new girl, wow her head is physically too small for her body, shrunken head syndrome I guess.
Yep, seems about right for this group – Yuk, Yukky, and BLEEEEEEECH!!!!

I saw the preview there and she commented that if the new girl is friends with Alexis maybe she is not her kind of people. Yet she’s friends with Tamara. So, if you are the company you keep, she’s flying just as high as that witch.
Alexis is the only one who I can bear for more than 30 seconds, and not much more than that.

I don’t like any of the cast so I’m going to skip this. I’m not even invested enough to dislike them. They are just, plain borrrrrring! I’ll just keep up in this blog. SH is far more entertaining than the actual shows. Bravo, in general, has become stale.
Since I’m bedbound most of the time I’ve been channel surfing and have found some great alternatives to the drivel that Bravo has to offer. I’ll keep you posted!

I can’t see anyone that knows Tamara well enough to have seen her hateful side wanting to live with that. I think as her years on the show have passed she has become more & more mean spirited & fame hungry. I was one of those that thought she should leave Simon before she did. But any sympathy I had for her (regarding Simon’s control issues ) has gone by the wayside after watching her humor & independent nature turn more & more negative by the season.
