I never thought I would say this, but after seeing that clip with Taylor I do feel a little sorry for her. I mean how do any of us know how we would react and what the long term effects would be from having a husband you’re in the process of divorcing commit suicide, leave you millions in debt and know that he has lied to everyone he has ever come into contact with? Hopefully, Kim’s talk with Taylor will wake her up. Now, if only Kim would heed her own advice however, from next week’s previews it does look like she has fallen off the wagon, either with the alcohol or prescription drugs or both. I just love watching Lisa and Ken together, they are so darn cute!

Yes, you’re right. I think this stems from too many people crying on my shoulder over the years and I have a big ol soft spot in my heart, hahaha! I definitely know Shana MUST leave that show. What I am truly sick of is her alcohol binging and all the me me one way conversations.
See, that’s whats troubling to me. It would be far better for Kim to actually be honest about her addictions….and come on the entire audience knows it’s not just alcohol….before feeling the need to confront anyone else. Even if I had a problem, I wouldn’t take advice from someone who’s been to rehab four times and appears to still have issues. Although I know it would never happen, Brandi’s friend Jennifer is an addiction specialist and would have been a great person to have involved in this intervention. Unfortunately since she is Brandi’s friend there is no way Kyle would ever have involved her, and that’s too bad.
My mother was an alcoholic. When it caused her to have a grand mal seizure (because she tried to stop drinking cold turkey, something I didn’t know about) I got her Doctor’s involved, including a Psychologist she was seeing at the time, and staged an honest intervention. She got into rehab the next week, and was completely alcohol free for 18 years until she died. The one thing I got from that process including seeing and hearing the people who were in rehab with her, was that no one gets clean until they are ready to do so, and it takes a strong person to get clean and never look back. I also kept alcohol out of the house (although my former step father attempted to reintroduce it), as I felt that putting temptations in front of her in the months after rehab, would have been insensitive. As someone else said in a previous post, it would be nice if Kyle would call a temporary end to all the alcohol that flows through each and every episode in an effort to not only show an alliance with her sister, but to also show it’s possible to have fun without alcohol involved.
Why call Jen, an ‘addiction specialist’ rather then a recovering addict? Sorry, but I call BS on that one…just like when Brandi tip-toed around the entitled-title of ‘recovering addict’ for Jen.. in her talking heads!
O.K., so I did a little research on behalf of your BS calling, and saw that she is listed as a recovering addict and a chemical dependency specialist. I have no idea if she has any formal training, but that is in fact how she is listed.
At the very least she’s been there, done that, and admits to her issues, unlike Kim who is still hiding from something the audience is keenly aware of, so if I had to have an intervention, I would prefer Jennifer to Kim any day of the week.
i appreciate your insight due to your own past. You make a valid point. However, I think the best solution for Dim-Kim, is to leave the show, period. It has not helped her one bit. Now, that SHE is preaching to Traylor-Park, it is completely hypocritical of her because her own recovery is not complete.

They really are silly, but I can’t help but think how cute Ken is and I’m always intrigued with Lisa’s closet. Why was Taylor able to speak the truth in her talking head, but she didn’t say anything about the whole Nanny-gate to their faces??????????? I would have corrected them on the spot. YES, Kim was right about Taylor drinking too much, but a few of the women do too. I was amazed that she didn’t feel persecuted from that conversation. The Richards sisters are just disgusting.

Since these talking heads are filmed way after-the-fact then it very well could be ole lyingasked SWINE scrambling to come up with an excuse and making Kyle go along with it in the blogs now because she has something on her plus Kyle gets the added benefit of making her sister look foolish which is what she lives for.

While I believe the talking heads are done well after the fact, since I’ve seen nothing to contradict that, it doesn’t mean that the ladies have seen the scenes they were not directly involved in before they speak especially when they were not present for the entire scene, and in Taylor’s case, was only present by phone. The two that look the worst here IMO are Kyle for not telling the other ladies what she already knew, and Marissa for participating in the discussion in the way that she did, with Kennedy within spitting distance. That was just wrong, and could have been harmful to that child.
Ya, I didn’t get why Marissa had to chime in, she was just stating the obvious and droning on while everyone looked at her wishing she would shut it. I can’t stand when women have to sit and sum everything up so they can listen to themselves talk.

perfect response made! I don’t even consider her scenes except to evaluate the others. I am completely void of empathy for her. She is a scamming grifter and deserves zero sympathy. Kennedy deserves all our love, and for that child’s sake, I really hope Taylor pulls it together. I have a feeling though, Kennedy will be treated as well from her cheating slimy attorney, as Taylor treated Russell’s kids. If the attorney was willing to humiliate his children by having an affair with someone like Taylor to play out on national tv, he obviously does not put kids first.

I can’t find the specific post from last year, but Shana’s words about needing to get her act together for Kennedy, blah blah blah, are almost verbatim what SH said would be used as the reason she would exit stage left. (It just didn’t come in episode one like we would have all wanted.) Nice work!

It never ceases to amaze me that people are so sure about what they have to say…someone here said we all know that Kim is on something other than alcohol…we know this because…how? I personally am going on the present and the fact that she’s still clean. I’m so not sure why people seem to think that Kim’s one lapse into bad behavior (at Dana’s game night) means she’s this awful person. I think that is the only time we’ve seen her be even close to not nice and the only thing she did that night (while under the influence) is say she didn’t want to Brandi to be on her team. Other than that what exactly has she done? I really want to know. I hope that telling Adrienne and Paul about Brandi’s comments isn’t bought up…who wouldn’t do that? If you wouldn’t you’re not a friend. Other than that…what is there. I won’t blame anything on her dependencies…but she was messed up last season and if that’s the worse she did…she did a lot better than the rest of them. She’s not catty or snarky or just plain mean. I really don’t get where people get that from. Does she had issues…yes…does she use them to excuse herself…haven’t seen that. She is going thru a process and has issues we don’t know about nor has she bought them up. Her wanting to help Taylor is A LOT more than I would have done seeing as how Taylor treated her in the past. It seems (unless she has some underhanded plot to point out all of Taylor’s flaws (and there are many) because of how badly Taylor treated her…then Kim is being really kind here.

With all due respect, Dim-Kim displayed more than “one lapse” of wacko behavior. She verbally attacked (with her famous finger in the face) Brandi at last year’s white party. She spent most of her day in the bathroom on her hands and knees cleaning out her purse. In Hawaii, she missed the boat (literally) due to being hung over. When she ate her edamame (with her horrific beau, Ken), her entire conversation was with eyes closed, and slurred words. Need I go on?
Ok maybe I am wrong but how many times did Kim say she had went to REHAB? I know it was several. She drank for years and years. Now after a few months of sobriety, she is the expert on whether someone should curb their drinking? How many times has she said it was devistating about Kyle blurting it out there for the world to hear but she is ready to do that to someone else? I do not like Taylor. Shana or swine, but for Kim to do that on this on tv shows me she has about the same low life piece of crap her sister is
Kim did not call Taylor an alcoholic…she said it was starting to become a problem. We know what we are. Do you think for a minute that Taylor didn’t know why they were coming over…if she didn’t mind her ex’s story line being brought up..do you really think she’d have a problem with the spotlight being shined on her about taking a drink or two to many. Notice no one called her an alcoholic. No one was mean to here and shouted out for the world to hear that she was a drunk. I think it’s a completely different situation. At the point of filming she’d been sober for almost a full year. She wasn’t unkind, she wasn’t nasty about it, she just said she was worried. I would think that someone who had been there would be the ideal person to say..hey…been there. Know the signs. She didn’t appear to be trying to counsel her, just bring worried.
Kim was an alcoholic for years and years. They are going to Taylor to tell her that she drinks too much. Sorry but again, Kim needs to keep her new nose out of it. It took her years and years and rehab after rehab to get clean. You think Kyle and Kathy didn’t do the same? Kim bitched about Kyle stating it publicly so don’t do the same to someone else. Thats all I am saying.
Many many substance abuse counselors, were once users themselves. I wish more people had low life pieces of crap (which is what you’re calling what Kim did) who kindly told someone (who not so kindly made fun of Kim’s problem) that she was worried about her, again, she did NOT call her an alcoholic nor say you drink to much all the time, she didn’t make it about ONE incident, but she said I’ve noticed in my sobriety that during this time of pain for you, you’re using alcohol to escape…don’t let it get to a bad point. That’s all she said.

They are rarely with them, so she could have done it on the sly – but no..she wanted to make sure it was on camera..
