Sorry for the delay…I had a long weekend in San Diego with my son’s club soccer team and Dean was out of town.
Just came up for air last night to work on this.
And we’re off to Kim’s …where this gum smacker still needs to learn when and where not to chew. It could be worse…I could be learning about my young daughter’s whereabouts. Thank you, Taylor, for putting the “beaver” in Beaver Creek while not knowing where Kennedy was.
However, after reading Taylor’s blog I have a better understanding of what went down. I realize there was a communication breakdown (which happens to all of us), but still feel it was Taylor’s ultimate responsibility to be in complete charge of the situation.
As a fellow rhinoplastee (double in my case), I completely understood what Kim was feeling before her grand unveiling. Elective surgery is a nerve-wracking process filled with second-guessing, other people’s opinions, and money that might be better saved on the kids’ college fund — but sometimes you got to say WTF and go for it.
If Kim is happier because of her new nose…then that’s all that matters. She seems to be and looks great. I’m hoping this is another step towards her full recovery from last year’s tailspin.
Over at Adrienne’s, Paul flashes his old high school speed to get inside the closing gates as a inferno rages nearby. . .turns out his reaction to the fire may threaten more than just the neighborhood.
We are just hours away from the White Party and Kyle starts sweating out the details.
She’s hoping for some last minute help but doesn’t get any from Mauricio….
…who finds himself in what can only be described as an awkward semi prone position that looks as if he’s trying to make it with a piece of patio furniture or indiscreetly take a leak.
Anyhow, Kyle always knows how to do throw a good party and manages to do so here again.
Some brief highlights before what I hope is the last round of the “Beat A Dead Horse Into The Ground” main event include:
- Paul taking a lustful (last?) glance at Adrienne’s knockers in the limo ride over,
- Ken not quite knowing where to stand when Kyle and Lisa discuss shoes,
- Mauricio telling Kim “you look great” on a loop, and Byron Allen ladies and gentlemen!
Finally, the face-off we have all been waiting for arrives as Adrienne, Paul, and Brandi convene inside while the others show off their questionable moves on the dance floor. It’s not long before the usually merry-go-round of “he said she said” kicks off, and I’m left scratching my head wondering what actually went down until we get a tacit acknowledgment from Paul that Brandi “was warned” which confirms for me what I thought all along. . .go Brandi!
We’re not done yet as the rest of the gang as well as the ubiquitous, Dwight, enter the fray.
Are there hypocrites in this room? Is there of double-standard taking place? Does Ken land another great line when he responds to Paul “That made your shoe”? Has Dwight opened his mouth for the last time? The answers are all a resounding YES!

I don’t feel the need to disparage Taylor even though she had read Taylor’s blog, but I guess if you are determined to be in the wrong, you should clearly stay there.
I am surprised she’s supporting Brandi though. Nice to know she thinks for herself and is not always swayed by Kyle.
The only reason SWINE is supporting Brandi is because Adrienne had the audacity to decline to take her kid to raise ie. the godmother thing. And is SWINE even catholic? Adrienne? No need in the Godmother title unless its financially motivated. This is 110% the reason SWINE is pissed at Adrienne. So transparent.
MP: Yes, I clearly recall Adrienne and Paul talking about their pre-cana for their catholic wedding. They spoke about it in detail so it definitely seemed as though they were really catholic.
yes agreed. taylor is a user through and through. i’m sure adrienne only ever said “that’s flattering” and never accepted. swine is a real piece of work. i wish sarah paulson would play her in a lifetime movie!

Sometimes I read Marisa’s blog and think she resents being on the show. Taylor should know where Kennedy is, and if there was a mixup, shame on Kyle for letting it get out of hand. Perhaps Kyle’s pot-stirring has taken cues from Brandi’s ability to discuss other people’s kids. Either way, she’s on tv and Marisa should discuss her concerns privately with Kyle without Kennedy around. So, she’s a wacko for that, IMO. I’m not sure what Marisa brings yet except some under current anger.
Marisa seems to recognize Brandi’s honesty, which is good.
Seeing these women, except for Lisa, makes me miss Yolanda. And this Kyle wallpaper is giving me eye blisters.
Marisa is an interestingly strange woman to be sure, and I also can’t figure out what she brings to the show. Perhaps she should retain her “friend” status, and not be upgraded to full on cast member. Or just let her go altogether and find someone else who seems more interesting than this woman.
I agree. I can’t figure her out. She seems depressed and needy. She is just not remotely interesting to me.
Just because I do not like Vile-Kyle, how rude of her to try and publicly embarrass Marissa with her gum chewing habits, yet Kyle was chewing on food (or her b.s.) when Kim revealed her nose.
On the whole, I find the piles of hair extentions on this show repulsive, but in this case I wish somebody would scotch tape a few to this broad’s head.

I enjoy Marisa on the show and in her blogs. She seems to be the objective observer, other than that kerfulffle with YoFo. I agree with much of what she has to say and thought her comment about Mo-reese humping the patio furniture was hilarious!
I liked her blog. Yes, the beaver comment was tacky, but mildly so. And it was the truth. Plus, this is the housewives, tacky is their middle name!
