Bravo… Wouldn’t normally give Shana an iota of attention on SH; however, Shana is goin’ after Kyle! What???!!!
Let’s talk reality. I’m so tired of friends not standing up and supporting one another when they know the truth. This week’s episode makes it look like I wasn’t keeping track of my precious Kennedy. Nothing could be further from the truth. And Kyle knows it. NOTE: WOW! Hey, Kyle… you better think twice about watchin’ Shana’s kid from now on!!
It was Friday, the day of Kim’s nose unveiling party and I had meetings scheduled through the afternoon. Kennedy was to be spending the weekend with her grandparents in Orange County. My nanny was instructed to stop by Kyle’s house prior to meeting my mother to pick up Kennedy’s iPad. She had left it there during a playdate with Portia and the girls a few days prior.
When Kennedy and the nanny stopped by, Kyle suggested Kennedy go with she and Portia to Kim’s event so they could play together. NOTE: It’s “her” not “she”… none of these Housewives know the English language. Kyle and I live in the same neighborhood and Kennedy and I are very close with their family. She really enjoys playing and having sleepovers there. She is an only child at our house and being that it is just the two of us now, it can be pretty quiet at times. She loves being around Kyle’s girls and their friends and feeling like she’s part of a big family at times. The relationship has been a true blessing for us both during the last year and a half. I want her to feel love from as many people as possible.
Kyle is one of my closest friends and she truly has been like a second mom to Kennedy. NOTE: Does Kyle know that she’s the “second mom”?? Would have thought since Shana wanted Adrienne to be the godmother, that Adrienne would be the “second mom”!
The nanny was very aware of the strong bond between our families and knew I would have complete confidence having Kennedy with Kyle and family. She made the decision to let Kennedy stay without consulting me. She did let my mother know that Kennedy was with Kyle and would be coming down to O.C. in the morning. I was not called which was unacceptable. My mother assumed I had approved the change in plans.
As you can imagine, I was shocked on the phone to hear Kennedy was at Kim’s because that was not the specific instruction and plan we had for the weekend. I take my responsibility for Kennedy more seriously than anything. Kyle knows this well, and I am hurt she didn’t communicate this and the facts of the evening when the girls were discussing it at the table at Kim’s.
I don’t find myself that interesting on a daily basis but clearly Marisa does, considering she can’t resist talking about me in the press and blogging about me. Marisa doesn’t know me and doesn’t know Kennedy. I don’t know her and don’t find her interesting enough to want to. She has no business talking about my child. Adrienne was a friend for years and does know how seriously I take the care and parenting of my daughter. I am furious she sat there at the table and didn’t say a thing to support me or defend me. I am not surprised considering her lack of support for both Kennedy and me over the last few years, just disappointed. . .again.
As we are seeing this year, seems to be a trend. Hopefully, things will become clear in the next episode.
As for my being “tipsy” when I phoned, I was. I had been at a business meeting all afternoon and then met my friend, business advisor (and ultimately my boyfriend), John at the Peninsula hotel for a late lunch. He and I had just resolved yet another of the challenges I had been left with and we decided it was worthy of a champagne toast (or two).

It was a gorgeous, sunny day on the Peninsula rooftop in Beverly Hills; we were poolside enjoying champagne and each other’s company. We had closed another chapter on the stressful life I had lived for several years. I was starting to breathe again and we were falling in love. Coincidentally, some of our friends were there and we spent the afternoon talking and laughing, something I hadn’t done enough of in the last year. As the late afternoon turned into early evening, I was confronted with making a choice.
A friend had called John to see if he wanted to go to Colorado on his jet that evening. He invited me to join him for a weekend of bike riding (I was training for a century ride.) NOTE: What is the “friend’s” name?? The only thing I was staying in LA for was the “nose party.” Hmmm. . .private jet to Beaver Creek with the man I am falling in love with or a nose job unveiling party. . .you decide. NOTE: Hmmmm… makin’ sure your child is taken care of or private jet? YOU’VE already decided that one!
And besides, as Kennedy later asked me, “Why are we celebrating Kim’s nose?” I mean honestly, if I went to a party for every friend that gets a plastic surgery in Beverly Hills, I would never sleep.
When I saw Kim at the White Party, she acted as though I missed her wedding. Seriously. . .there is nothing appealing about watching someone remove bandages from their nose. I am a grown damn woman and I do not have to explain my relationships, the depths of them or “when I am going to see him again” to anyone. I lived through five years of stress and spent the last year angry at the world unable to pinpoint why. I now understand that is part of grieving but let me tell you it sucks to be “Angry Spice” all the time! I was starting to feel like me again, the old me, long before my marriage began. I was reminded of how happiness could feel and I didn’t need Kim Richards’ approval, still don’t.
Side note. . .I am obsessed with the necklace and earrings Lisa wore to the White Party. Gorgeous! She rocked it. Note to Shana: You’re an idiot.
I could barely contain myself when Lisa was explaining to Adrienne that she leaves a human stain wherever she sits. We all spray tan and this doesn’t happen to us. Perhaps Kyle should save the cover on her white formal chair and years from now, archeologists may think they have discovered another Shroud of Turin.
Maybe Kyle should change the name of the White Party to the Dark Party, more appropriate name for the last three years for sure! When Brandi, Paul and Adrienne sat down, I knew things were going to heat up. Our group of friends is passionate on this topic. “Friends don’t sue friends; they don’t threaten to sue friends.” I have had enough attorneys in my life in the last year and a half to tell you for a fact, attorneys don’t send threatening letters without direction from their clients. End of story!
There is a letter so how the hell did that happen? Paul was so aggressive talking to Brandi, Dwight, and Ken, it reminded me of the Shakespearean line “Methinks thou dost protest too much.”

Wow, I couldn’t even read all of Taylor’s rant here…maybe I will try again later, or not. Taylor is making a lot of excuses, much deflecting and is drunk off her ass. She needs rehab and her poor daughter will need therapy if she continues to live with Taylor. I feel very sorry for her attorney for crawling in to bed with that alcoholic. Get out of your drunken haze and get a grip on life!
While I find her repulsive, I agree about the letter. It is the only valid point she has ever had, so I can give her that. I am not sure about the explanation of the Nanny dropping Kennedy off, though. If that happened, why wouldn’t Kyle call or text her herself? If I had my friend’s kid, I would probably call, text, or send a pic of the girls… It just seems odd.

Kyle and Kim could not wait to let everyone know about Shana’s phone call. Really, some gossiping b*****s. Apparently,everything you tell Kyle and Kim you are telling to everyone they know. So Kyle also leads Shana to believe it is perfectly fine for Kennedy to stay with her then tries to act like she is the “good mom.” Disgusting.
Yeah, I was pretty put off by the beginning of this episode, and particularly the round table discussion about Taylor with her daughter present. I know from my own childhood that while the adults think the kids aren’t paying attention, they hear everything.
With that said, Taylor’s blog post reminds me of a situation with my family. My daughter is an only child, and so she liked to spend time at my brother’s house when she was younger because he had two young children. They were younger than her, but they liked to play and spend time together. This time came to an abrupt end when my sister-in-law took the time to passively/aggressively tell me she didn’t want my daughter around, without actually come out and saying it. It was hurtful to my daughter as she noticed the change in my sister-in-law, and led in time to my daughter spending no time with her cousins. I think people sometimes like to come across as the benevolent family member/friend who is somehow being put upon, without taking into account that children don’t understand how they are loved one minute but hanging around too much the next.
So, while I still don’t like Taylor because of her abuse claim, her story sounds entirely plausible and if Kyle was aware, she should absolutely have told the other ladies instead of allowing them to gossip about something they were not a part of.

Thats the Kyle M.O. as she put it, ‘we all know everyones business’ and clearly felt the need to be the town cryer. I’m just curious as to whether or not Kim is going to be sloshing around the bottom of a bottle when she proposes or confronts Traylors ‘drinking problem’. While she does seem off, season 1 she didnt appear to have substance issues and all of the stress of her (albeit fake) world falling around her and facing going to jail could drive a woman to drink (given her weight a few glasses of wine are like a few bottles). Its just extremely hypocritical of Kim who’s had issues for DECADES to be the one to call out Traylors drinking. Should be interesting…
It also was HILARIOUS to watch Lisa call out Adrienne about her self-tanner coming off on all of her furniture. She should pull a Leah Black and invoice her for the piece she had to recover…and not once did Adrienne say ‘oh my goodness I’m so sorry, thats so embarrassing’ not the hardest thing to say but she still couldnt cough up the slightest of apologies…pitiful.

I agree, Bubbies. I said it in the other thread. You could tell that the phonecall with Kim and Kyle talking to Shana, was heavily edited. I had a feeling that she left Kennedy in the care of a Nanny and that person was pushed by Kyle to leave Kennedy in her care. The Nanny made a HUGE mistake by not contacting Shana right away, but I’m sure she thought it was okay since they see Kyle a lot. It WAS horrendous that Kyle and Kim tried to make that scene seem like Shana didn’t know where her own child was or seem to care. I LOVE that Shana’s been spillin’ the truth lately. I hope she keeps up and I hope we find out more truth about these witches!! Love that she spoke of her disappointment in Adrienne by not sticking up for her. And she was right about Marisa sticking her nose in when she doesn’t know Kennedy or Shana. I was especially offended that these MOTHERS spoke that way, a few feet away from Kennedy. in adrienne’s defense, i’m sure a standard household cleaner would get the stain out. seriously. that cloth material is the same as outdoor patio furniture and it can be cleaned off. with leather, wiped off. why is everyone flipping out?
You can’t be serious? Outdoor furnishings are specifically designed to weather the elements and are therefore relatively easy to clean. Indoor furnishings are not designed the same way, are of a softer material by and large, and using household cleaners on some materials can leave spots on the material, or is the worst cases, leave holes in the material.

2. That tanner stuff could permanently stain depending on the fabric. If it were an indoor couch, it could’ve been a suede or leather which would make it IMPOSSIBLE to remove (especially suede, but same for wool).
3. She didnt just stain the out–door chairs, and even if it were only the outdoor chairs, she didnt so much as say ‘oh, I’m sorry…’, I’d be embarrassed if I spilled ANYTHING on someone elses property, whether or not its an easy-to-remove- stain. It has more to do with respecting your hosts home and belongings.

Except as Taylor said, her daughter was supposed to be at her grandmother’s house for the weekend, so she didn’t choose a man over her child, and Kyle knew it.

I took it as an explanation that we didn’t get on the show. You’ll notice that as the other ladies decide to go on and on about Taylor’s parenting, Kyle remains silent. Not only did she already know the truth, but for some reason didn’t choose to spill it. That was wrong, and made more reprehensible by the fact that Kennedy heard it. As I watched the show, the camera was on Kennedy and although the voices were muted, the microphone was clearly picking up what the ladies were discussing.
I don’t think Kyle is evil here. She keeps her mouth shut because she knows some sick things about Taylor. As Kyle does when the whole group discusses Kim’s sobriety, Kyle knows it’s not her place and she cares not to feed the lions with the real truth about these sordid affairs.
Her silence fed those lions, while the words would have calmed the situation and turned them to talking about something else. If Kyle knows Taylor’s dirt, you best believe Taylor also knows Kyle’s dirt since she lived with her for a few months I think. It was completely nasty for Kyle to do what she did, and very clear that Kyle’s friendships are contingent on who happens to be around at any given time.
This could all be in the editing. We don’t really know how Kyle handled it.

I am not a Kyle fan..nor am I a Shaft fan. Although Kyle looks for any reason she can to throw someone under the bus (through fake innocent deer in headlights moment) – it is not the point. The point is that Shaft did not know the whereabouts of her daughter and if people believe that is the primary occurance of that then I have some ocean- front property in Arizona that I’d be willing to sell for a good price. Her first priority is hitchin’ herself to a rich man and not caring for her daughter who has delt quite a hand in life at such a young age.
I also think that Shaft is becoming more vocal in her blogs as to not be let go by Bravo next year.

Perhaps she looked sad because the producers had separated her from the other’s for the shot, and because she could hear the adults talking about her mother.
Or maybe she was sad because her mother choose getting laid over her…or maybe she was sad the nanny forgot the Chore chart.
Again, Kennedy was supposed to be spending he weekend with her grandmother. How does that mean that she chose sex over her child? Come on now. I’m not a Taylor fan either, but it makes perfect sense, and as a parent she is allowed to go out and have fun….any fun she chooses so long as it’s legal…as long as she has made appropriate plans for her daughter’s well being, which was clear from her post and which Kyle choose not to divulge to the other ladies.
So tired of the she is entitled to go have fun, Taylor leaves her kid all the time for book tours,drunken binges. ski weekend this isnt the first time Taylor has jetted off somewhere without Kennedy. If my child lost their other parent i would damn sure make sure i was around the majority of the time and so she would feel secure. Taylor isnt raising kennedy the Nanny is.
Ya’ know, this is a discussion that will have no end. I’ve seen no evidence that Taylor “constantly” does anything, and I didn’t say she was “entitled” to do anything either. I was specifically speaking of this incident and this incident alone. While it would be awesome for everyone to be able to stay with their child/children at all times, it’s also not feasible for most of us. Taylor should be able to live her life, earn a living (hence the book tour) while at the same time making sure that her child is cared for. She is not the only mother that has a nanny, whether or not anyone think she can afford one, and she will not be the last. My mother served as my nanny while I worked five, six and something seven nights a week. While it may not have appeared to some that I was raising my child, I was well aware of the important things in her life, and she knew what I did or did not allow. It’s life. None of us live the Cleaver family version of perfection, which didn’t really exist anyway for most people, and so we do the best we can with what is presented to us.
First, she never said who she was going with or whether or not it was about to be a screwfest. LOL! Secondly, she left specific instructions as to what was supposed to happen, ,her nanny and Kyle took it upon themselves to change it, while also calling the grandmother to let her know, but for some reason left Taylor out of the loop. Stuff happens, and I am sure Taylor dealt with it appropriately when she returned. While I’d like to believe I was the perfect mother as my now 18 year old was growing up, I know things happened I was not aware of and didn’t have complete control of over. I also understand that since I know I didn’t do everything perfectly, I’m fairly certain I’m not the only one, and therefore can defend something that is so obvious no matter who it is.
I dislike Taylor for one reason alone. However that does not keep me from seeing that she did what was appropriate in this instance.
We all know who this is, Its her lawyer friend she was humping him well before the filming started. we all saw the pictures of him carrying her out of various resturants drunk, we also saw him traveling with her on her lame book tour so yea we do know who it was and so did they.
I may have not been a perfect mother but i damn sure knew where my 5 yr old was 24/7 and who she was with.

If she thought her daughter was with her momma then her FIRST call should have been to her momma to let her know where she was gonna be not a co-worker to let them know you wouldn’t be at their nose party. I still think SWINE is the kind the spends every weekend out and about and leave the kid with others. Once a child is school age weekends become precious.. for most mothers. Evey now and then a weekend at granny’s is fine, law knows mine spent time with their granny’s, but not every weekend and I feel like THAT is what SWINE is all about. No excuse for SWINE at all. And Marissa called it as she saw it.

Really Lisa, I don’t get it either. Even if she was a normal woman and not at all at fault for what went down, she needs to be sober and focused on her child. Date on the weekends if you must, and protect the girl, don’t be a sloppy drunk on tv and leave her with others every chance you get.. Traylor is only worried about Traylor gettin her hands on another man asap.
I agree. When Lisa said sometimes the silence of your friends is worst than the words of your enemies she was spot on! Kyle should have spoken up & defended Trailor because she knew the situation was not as it appeared to be. Instead she sat silent with that stupid look on her face. I am a Kyle fan but she really threw Trailor under the bus in this situation and say silent as the bus rolled over her by letting everyone bash Trailor’s parenting when she knew the truth. Some friend she is!
Exactly. I hope Taylor has had a good heart to heart with Kyle over this one, as it was clear that Kyle could have stepped up but chose not to.

At that comment, and the way she made it out to sound that this ‘new guy swept her off her feet’ wondered if he had even met Kennedy let alone formed an opinion of her. Although if it is the lawyer dude, he’s probably met Kennedy and she seems so shy (always has), I doubt her liking him would be a relevant factor to Taylor at this point.

I think because its not involving any real celebrities is helping it stay under the radar of popular opinion but there is not much of a difference (perhaps the lengths Leann went through to acquire her guy vs. Trailor ‘getting lucky’ with her lawyer?) Not to mention people cant think much less of Taylor if she were working the hoe-stroll on hollywood boulevard, so husband poaching isnt a shocker given her ‘moral fiber’ that she’s shown by using a suicide to springboard a project to make her money- you cant get much lower than that…This woman manages to make Monica Lewinsky look good…

A mother who needs every bit of help she can get including an electronic Nanny. Ugh. Heaven forbid Shana interact with her child as long as she can pawn her off on strangers it’s all good. That is the happiest I have ever seen Kennedy look relaxed and carefree . That poor child has enough to cope with would be nice to see genuine caring rather than drunken slurring.

In my experience nannies take their cues from their employers when no explicit direction is given. I was fortunate enough to have a full time, live in nanny for my son from the time I went back to work after a six month maternity leave until he started preschool at 4 years old. Of course unnplanned and unforeseen situations came up, however our nanny understood that I expected to be informed asap when that happened. In regards to the change of plans for the weekend, my nanny knew that it wouldn not be ok without our expressed consent. IMO Shanna ‘s casual parenting, not to mention her drinking and her frequent absences have given the nanny too much authority.
