If you’re in the NYC area, you just might want to make a date for tomorrow night with RHONY Housewives Sonja Morgan and Carole Radziwill.
Both Carole and Sonja will be participating in the New Yorkie Runway Fashion Show!
“NEW YORK, NY – Five time NBA champion Ron Harper, Bravo’s Real Housewives of New York City Sonja Morgan and Carole Radziwill and MTV Real World/Road Rules Challenge star Kenny Santucci will walk the runway with their fido friends at the third annual New Yorkie Runway Celebrity Fashion Show benefitting the Angel on a Leash foundation.
The star-studded event takes place on Thursday, Feb. 7, 2013 from 5:30 pm to 8 pm at the iconic New Yorker Hotel with host Alyssa Campanella, former Miss USA 2011, and emcee David Frei, the legendary voice of Westminster and author of Angel on a Leash. Additional celebrities participating in the event include: Peter Yarrow of the band Peter, Paul and Mary; former MTV host Lyndsey Rodriques; renowned chef Sean Olnowich among others.
NYC’s New Yorkie® pet fashion line will dress the four-legged models for the runway. All proceeds from the New Yorkie Runway Fashion Show will benefit Angel on a Leash, a non-profit organization that creates therapy dog programs for hospitals and institutions (www.AngelOnALeash.org) to bring smiles to those in need.
In addition, Schmitty The Weather Dog and Meteorologist Ron Trotta (the weather team for the Westminister Kennel Club Dog Show) are among the New York personalities and celebrities who will be walking the runway with their pups to raise money for the important cause.
The event kicks-off with a Red Carpet Cocktail Party at 5:30 pm (including complimentary wine and beer) before fashionable pup models hit the runway at 7 pm. Tickets for the Cocktail Hour & Fashion Show are $50 per person (canine escorts are complimentary).
