Hello everyone!
I love the beginning of this episode! Watching my sister give Alexia her first car was just so exciting. Once again, I remember and relate to this day. The look on Alexia’s face, that shock, that excitement, mmmmmm. So exciting for all of them! Maurice had such a huge
smile, looking soooo proud. And Alexia’s big sister Farrah looking so little in that passenger’s seat driving away — haha. Have fun Alexia. Good luck!
I was really happy that Lisa included me at the tasting at Sur. Getting to know the girls is important to me, so getting dressed up and going to these events feels good. This was the first time I have been with girls in a small setting since I’ve been home from treatment. It wasn’t a party. This was a lunch, just us girls. So yes, I was a little nervous, but excited.
After I arrived, Lisa, Brandi and I were discussing Ken’s upcoming surgery. Lisa said she had some concerns about Ken not wanting to remove his underwear. I suggested Brandi for the job — haha. I’ll take care of Lisa, and Brandi can take care of Ken.
When we first sat down, Lisa said she could tell I was doing well, because I looked well. Those are things in early recovery that you need to hear. When Lisa asked me if I felt strong in my sobriety or if there are days that I felt like I could relapse, I tried to explain to her that there were people and situations that were frustrating, hurtful, or overwhelming for me. Those feelings and that pain that I had made me fearful of where those emotions could take me had I not dealt with them properly. That’s why I was working with my life coach, my therapist, and PRAYER, which is a very big part of my recovery. And of course the Twelve Steps. These tools have given me the strength to stay sober through some very difficult times.
Looking at my sister’s face, I couldn’t figure out exactly what she was feeling. When someone said “Is that person at the table?,” to be quite honest, there were a few of them at the table that have sparked those emotions in me. But I genuinely care about all of them, so it’s important for me to work through this for myself, and with them, while maintaining my sobriety the whole time, which is new for me.
Lunch was going great, until Brandi talked about what all went down with her and Adrienne.
When someone doesn’t like someone or doesn’t get along with them, sometimes they don’t say very nice things. We’ve all been guilty of that, but I felt like Brandi talking against Adrienne, and all the girls just sitting there, while nobody was defending her or stopping it, was wrong. I almost felt new to the group, as I really am just getting to know everybody after two years. Brandi started with “Well, I think she lies a lot, doesn’t have a book deal, and something about an argument over the phone regarding Lisa.” But then, Brandi said something that made my mouth drop.
When I heard it, I felt like a knife went through me for Adrienne. I couldn’t believe what I had heard. As close as Adrienne and I have been over the last few years, I felt like if it were true, I would have known about it for sure. And if I didn’t know, then she didn’t want anybody to know. This is Adrienne’s family, her loved ones are involved here. I feel like Brandi and I are just getting off to a good start and having some fun. Brandi said one time “You don’t talk about my babies,” and that was only about her kids going potty by the pool. She was soooo upset about that. I don’t know what she would do if someone said something like this about her family. I’m sure looking back; she must see that this was wrong.
I’ve gotten to know Brandi, and I feel she is a good person, and I’m sure she deep down she knows this is wrong to expose this family in this way. I had to get up and leave the table. I went into the ladies room to think about what I needed to do. I needed to say something to Brandi. I took a deep breath, came out very calm and I was ready to talk to Brandi. But the conversation had shifted when I came out, and it was not the right time.
When I got home, I called Adrienne right away, I thought it was important that she knew about this. This is not something that should get around, and Adrienne needs to make a phone call and stop this. This was something she needed to know.
When I saw Adrienne and Paul at Mauricio’s event, I pulled them aside right away, since she hadn’t called me back. NOTE: Did Kim only call Adrienne once? Something this HUGE deserves a follow-up call!! This may have not been the right timing, but I just didn’t feel it could wait. I thought maybe they could talk to Brandi and put a stop to this, as it could potentially be devastating to their family. I felt so bad for Paul and Adrienne. I just don’t understand why nobody else spoke up on Adrienne and Paul’s behalf.
There is no nice ending to this situation at this point, but I did what I felt I needed to do as a friend. As far as Brandi and I go, we’re good. I don’t always agree with the things she says or does, but I’m sure she feels the same about me. I hope you all understand that I came from a caring place, and I didn’t mean to make trouble for anyone. I just felt I had an obligation, as this could be harmful to any family, and especially my friends.

I hope Kim really is sober – booze, speed, and too many pharma cocktails have permanently damaged some of her brain cells – but she does look so much better. She has probably always been kind of a goof ball personality, she’s kooky, but seems to have made some positive moves lately, no pun intended. Out of all the others on this show, she seems at least genuine, like she doesn’t have a filter. Her icky sister on the other hand…what a witch.
I have to say i love Kim.
Seeing this new side to her makes her very enduring.

The only thing that was exposed was Kim’s cleavage. Ouch!
I could have done without seeing that cleavage. Also, it almost looked like Kim has a horizontal scar on her neck. It could be just normal neck fold, or it could be a scar purposely put in the neck fold area, so as to be disguised.
I’ll have to check the scar out. Maybe Kyle is responsible for it!

I don’t think Kim did anything wrong. If it were Brandi or Lisa they would tell each other if someone said something about them. And plus the producers definitely told Kim to bring it up.
I agree with you on that, what I don’t like was the producers made her do it and then they want to punk out and not tell what happened. Honestly it would never bother me if I never knew especially if it is about her children. If that’s the case I think they should have edited the whole thing out. Obviously they edited all of SWINES drunken antics in ohji and at Porcha’s b-day party so why show this? Kim did what she was told and she has always been closer with Adrianne then any of the other ladies. If it Brandi had said it about SWINE Kyle would have told her right away and let the fur fly.

ITA Made more manufactured Bravo drama. IMO the Real Housewife franchise started out as following them around giving the view a slice of life in NJ, OC, NY . Now it’s all about the “storyline arc”. Whatever ! It is little more than bitchy gossip culminating in fake fights accompanied by copious amounts of alcohol consumption and requisite groping to prove one is “madly in love” with one’s spouse. BTW the spouse usually looks less than enchanted by said groping.Charity event, insert catfight, vacation insert screaming, cursing and catfight. If the zip code is wealthy enough add lawsuits and threats of lawsuits. Yawn….Seriously this is easy peasy practically writes itself.
I gots me a theory on these lawsuits thingys. I think one of the producers has a daddy that is/was a lawyer and daddy never paid him/her any attention. Just a theory.

Kyle knew full well her sister was an alcoholic and lovingly went after her nails bared and teeth clenched and proceeded to attempt a limo beatdown. Seriously who in their right mind does that? Kim and Kyle hoping to cash in ala niece Paris Hilton and trade their dignity and sanity for perfume and shoe lines. Or pick the product of choice….Now that they have milked the alkie drama dry time to move on to greener pastures and a new script.

I do not believe Bravo is the big evil conspirator. I believe they do some editing but they show who these people are. Do I think they make one look worse than the others, NO. I think these housewives are their own worst enemy. They open their mouths and say too much at the wrong times. DUH camera is rolling.
Evolutions should have removed all footage of Russel Armstrong. The fact that they didnt makes them evil. And the fact that they perpetuated and assisted SWINE in demonizing her dead husband and her baby daddy makes them souless scum sucking gutter dwelling slime buckets. Yeah. I get very bad vibes from the Evolution bunch. Very different from the rest of the production companies who I am sure have their own issues with ethics(including RHODC Backyard) but none of them reach the level of I dont know what that Evolution does.
How long did MTV shoot “The Hills”? Long enough to realize faux reality was the golden ticket. Evolution did not reinvent the wheel , Evolution Entertainment only went a step further and decided to mix, grifters, wannabes and a few noveau riche’ and let the fireworks begin. The HW shows are like an episode of Survivor with fake Birkin bags and designer shoes. Of course it’s prodigiously if not entirely scripted. I was amused watching re-runs (mostly background noise) of Bravo’s Shahs of Sunset. wherein Gigi and Asa get in a catfight,( with requisite pushing, shoving, bitchslap) over some perceived slight/insult. Cut to commercial and SURPRISE on the next episode of RHOA and Nene/ Kenyakoochiecrack/Porshe are arguing over some perceived slight/insult resulting in pushing shoving ….well you know the drill. So please do not piss on my leg and tell me it’s raining. Cuz these chick brawls are so carefully choreographed by producers that they are identical.

MP, you are 100% correct regarding Evolution. They have no soul. In their evil mind, a suicide isn’t a big deal. They prey on the weak and Kim certainly is the weakest in the HW herd. Her sobriety is tenuous at best and they have no problem putting her in situations she clearly can’t handle.

Kim gets alimony and child support I think it was 27,000 a month. Why would she need to be supported by Kyle ?
If Kim’s kids are over 18 then she isn’t collecting child support but I applaud Kim for not getting getting married and loosing the spousal support. Kyle made several ugly cracks about supporting Kim. So who knows what the truth really is. Was Kim married to a California Davis? If so she probably had a very lavish lifestyle and probably finds it difficult to slum around on a quarter mil a year. Although Kim does not strike me as acquisitive as the rest. Does she rent is that why she constantly moves?

in some states child support is paid until age 23 if the child is in college full time so she still maybe getting CS .
it is in CA, so it is done at 18.
My understanding is that she did get used to a certain lifestyle with Gregg Davis and never really could be bothered to pay attention to what things cost or manage her own finances, and was always having Kathy & Kyle help her out with expenses – including paying for several rehab stints. (And IMO, I think a decade of addiction probably squandered any “fortune”/nest egg she had left.)

If you seen the homes Kim lived in, prob 10k a month in BH or LA. She was terrible with hr money too. Hiltons has said they had to help her financially too. Heck I bet she drank 2k a month.

This should be no big deal at all, but Adrienne and Paul are the biggest..I am going to sue you..over reactors I have ever seen in my life. Vander Pump…Maloof Hoof gate, etc. Brandi was so angry that Adrienne and Paul tried to coerce her to send out negative tweets about Lisa, and other things, that she was very angry and blabbed about them using a surrogate. they can’t sue Brandi because it is true, and if Adrienne was like Camille…everyone knows…so who the heck cares. However, in Adrienne’s case, she is trying to appear perfect, so she is acting like Brandi is releasing top gov’t secrets. Brandi I know feels guilty in case Adrienne’s kids did not know about it, but Brandi is the type that if she is pushed..and then she had to listen to Adrienne further her lies at the spa retreat about having a c section, when she actually used a surrogate…Well Brandi being Brandi had had enough of Adrienne’s constant lies and attempts to take down Lisa, and whatever else..and blabbed to the ladies.

In the video the camera captures Kim getting up from the table while Brandi was bad mouthing Adrienne. Still, no one spoke up at the table. With friends like those…

How on earth could anyone who has any friends keep a pregnancy of TWINS quiet? It’s not like you show up one day and say ,”Hey – I just had twins” – How did Brandi even know about it? I have been in the situation where a friend was spreading gossip about another friend. It’s wrong and if one person is not there to defend someone should indeed let the person being talked about know. With that said, Kim said she got up from the table first because she was upset. When she came back to the table she said she had decided to say something to Brandi. I believe her. I don’t know if she didn’t actually say something to Brandi later. The fact that Brandi doesn’t mention Kim’s telling Adrienne and Paul what Brandi had said tells me something. Kim told them (probably when the producer told her to) and Paul and Adrienne, more specifically Paul went about confronting Brandi in entirely the wrong way. I don’t blame Kim, I blame Brandi for opening her mouth about something that wasn’t her business. I blame Kyle for asking about Adrienne when she wasn’t there (to start trouble) and I blame Adrienne and Paul for the way they handled things. Whatever the secret about Adrienne, she has a right to some privacy and it must have been really bad because they bleeped it out. But Bravo isn’t dumb. Fine we won’t say what it is but we will show EVERYTHING Around it…no way you’re getting away with not sharing this drama. We won’t say exactly what it is but we sure as heck are going to play up the resulting drama! Brandi should pay if she released confidential information. I;m quite sure that if she could find someone to sue about something for money she would.
and what do you think about Adrienne and Paul trying to enlist Brandi to spread negative stories about Lisa on Twitter – we all know now that they tried to do this, and get a little army to attack Lisa at the reunion. What do you think about them doing this?
I think that we have Brandi saying that happened and Adrienne and Paul saying they didn’t. I don’t think either is any more trustworthy than the other. But Brandi hasn’t proven herself to be much more than a pot stirrer. I dislike how she says she just tells it like it is. That is a very thin cover for saying inappropriate things, just because you can say them doesn’t mean you should. Brandi said she was on the phone with them for an hour. Why didn’t she just hang up. I have no reason to believe her any more than I have reason to believe Adrienne and Paul saying they didn’t ask her. The above is not the issue. The issue is Brandi saying something that SHE says she shouldn’t have…Kim’s telling Adrienne and Paul, and their response to being told. I’ve addressed that above and truthfully I don’t think anything else should be brought into it. I think that drama seems to follow Brandi and it did before her appearing on RHOBH. I think the drama about Brandi will go on long after the show is over.

adrienne did not deny at all that she tried to do that when Brandi called her out for it. She just said it wasn’t nice…Why are you so quick to believe what all the housewives stated clearly Adrienne was trying to do………..Even camille said in an interview that ADrienne had called her to do the same thing to Lisa, because at that time Camille was not friends with Lisa.
I seem to be alone in this, but I think the surrogacy guess might just be a red herring, especially when I read that Bravo was putting through those comments about it on it’s website. I remember thinking when first viewing the clip of Kim telling them about it, that the story was about the Maloofs. Kim was standing there in front of both Paul&Ad and said Brandi was saying something about *Ad’s* family…she didn’t say your family (including Paul) but specifically said “Ad’s family”. Paul took up the mantle, but IMO he was being defensive about how this story would affect Ad. Maybe???

What the hell big family secret would Brandi know? Brandi and the Maloofhoof were not BFFs so what would she be stoopid enough to tell her that the other ladies were miffed that they were not privy to? It doesn’t make any sense at all. What? That one of the brothers is a cross dresser or something? It doesn’t make any sense that it’s something earth shattering. How stoopid do you have to be to know that if you want to keep a secret, you keep it to yourself.
I can’t believe these wives don’t see their common enemy and that is the incredibly smart and manipulative Kyle Richards. She masterminds nearly every conflict but does it in a way that it never leads back to her. I really hope she gets called out on her bullshit this season. I really think she’s been getting off too easy and someone really needs to put her know-it-all condescending attitude in its place. I don’t want to be too overly dramatic but she’s honestly the root of all evil in this show.

There’s no way a surrogacy can “destroy a family”…Yea, the kids may not understand it at 1st or why but when they are older they will. There’s no way its about that. Maybe Bravo led up to the show with the childbirth conversation etc to throw every1 off. Bravo doesnt back down from any of the HW’s…They show all the good, bad & ugly til now. Its something that should have been totally left out especially when innocent kids are involved but surrogacy definitely isnt the problem here.
please remember how totally fipped out adrienne and paul got over maloof hoof and crackpot. It is completely like them to consider this a deal breaker if they haven’t told the kids

if kim was so offended on behalf of Adrienne, she should have said right when Brandi said Adrienne’s name, I am not comfortable talking about her when she isn’t here. When I am around someone who is speaking negatively about a friend, I cut them off right away, because I am not going to later on..go runnign to my friend to tattle…so I cut off the other person right away – then tell my friend, (so and so is not your friend – just a heads up)

i don’t think this was an open house for clients. i think this was just a new office mauricio and his dad opened. someone said that the other people there were employees. had there been real monied clients there, i think knowing the housewives penchant for drinking and fighting, he would have had security there to escort them out. i also think that kyl threw kim under the bus. i’m glad that kim seemed to stand up for herself. maybe it wasn’t the right time to tell paul and adrienne, but she did it and nothing can change that. it would be nice if once in a while kyl would stand by her sister instead of always seeming to worry about her like she is a fragile child. i think kim is stronger than she lets on. she is a recovering alcoholic, and i don’t think now is the time to go after her like kyl did. kyl sometimes treats kim like she is her daughter and not her older sister because she promised her mom on her mom’s death bed that she would watch out for kim. doesn’t seem like she did a great job, and it seems that kim is closer to her half-sister and i can understand why.
