THIS Yolanda Foster…

yolanda

Hello everyone, the weeks are just flying by — Christmas will be here before we know it. I always look forward  to connect with you and write this blog to give you a better idea of my experience of coming into this new group of friends. Some days it feels like my first day at a new school. I’m sure most of you can relate to that feeling.

Before I met David, I lived in Santa Barbara where I spent a lot of time horse-showing and hiking in Ojai. It’s a very spiritual place and the nature is just amazing.

I understood from Kim that this trip was about bonding with the girls. I was excited to go because I thought it would be a great way to get to know everyone in a casual way. I can’t remember the last time I left my family to go on a girl’s trip.

The first night at dinner I really loved the way Brandi took the initiative to speak to Kim. They were having such a beautiful, long, and overdue heart-to-heart. Kim is really emotional right now, but that’s understandable. She is letting go of a lot of old stuff. Brandi seems to be really good about admitting to her own mistakes and trying to move on after recognizing them. That’s what I love about her. She does not get stuck in the past.

Even though Adrienne’s  remarks are so annoying, I wish B could have chosen a different way to address her.

Kyle and Lisa’s and debate is clearly showing the separation in this group. Lisa does not agree with Brandi’s language, however she is still protective of her. And Lisa has every right to do so, especially considering Kyle is always defending Adrienne.

I am so happy for Brandi’s book deal and finding a way to support her kids. I honestly don’t understand why Kyle, Taylor, and Adrienne are so rude and unsupportive for someone else’s success. It just seems so catty and mean — it’s all very disheartening to me.

I am not surprised to hear Kyle say that no one is listening to me. . .I try my best to measure my words carefully. . .God gives you two ears and one mouth so I think we’re supposed to listen twice as much as we speak. I don’t think she got that memo because she only likes the sound of her own voice.

I woke up very early this morning because I was excited to have a sporty day outdoors. Trying to get everyone to go on a hike was a big challenge, the hair, the make-up, the jewelry. . .it was like a fashion show! Luckily, we did end up having a really great walk, talking and connecting like women should.

The golf cart ride was really the first time we were all laughing and having a great time. I really enjoyed the little race between Lisa and me. We were being competitive but all in good fun, of course. It still makes me giggle. It’s too bad that as we get older, we stop being silly in that way.

Our badminton game was just a crack-up. I thought Lisa looked absolutely adorable. At least she was wearing sneakers. Kyle thinks she looks like a beekeeper? I was thinking, “Look in the mirror, girl. You are wearing 8-inch heels, a see-through mini dress, and a Chanel purse on the badminton field. . .ugh, really?”

By the time we got to the spa, we were in a goofy mood, cracking jokes and what not. It is really hard to calm down and meditate with the mud treatment after all that. Lisa and I were on a roll so a little fun seemed in place.

I was also looking forward to the camaraderie of cooking our own dinner but instead we were spoiled with this amazing spread of healthy foods by chef Chad.

The dinner was great and I was happy to finally be asked a more in-depth question of why I was not drinking alcohol but my answer did not seem to impress anyone [Laughs]. Anyway in Europe, we are raised with holistic medicine. I had been dealing with the pain of breaking my back while delivering my son and the ensuing triple back fusion for 13 years, but in March when I started having extreme joint pain all over my body, I decided to go to Germany to do the fresh cell therapy, which is a holistic way to revitalize the body’s own cells in order to treat disease.

RHOBH Anwar Yolanda

Now looking back, that was the first onset of my ME-CFS. I just did not know it at that time.

It is interesting to hear Adrienne discuss her difficult labor. And it was sweet of Camille to share her surrogacy story. It’s those stories that makes women bond.

Once the girls start drinking, it’s time for Kim and me to excuse ourselves. I had such a fun day and really wanted to end it that way. Usually I too love to enjoy a glass of wine and have fun but I don’t like to see the kind of influence alcohol has had on some of the woman in this group. Anyway, I came here to support Kim and celebrate her sobriety so out of respect to her, maybe we should have scratched the alcohol for the weekend?

For me personally, there is nothing better than getting a good night sleep and going for a run in the morning and enjoying nature.

I am wondering why that would make Kyle feel guilty? Exercise and a healthy lifestyle is a choice — I hope it doesn’t look like I am preaching. I was just sharing.

I know I sound like a broken record already. I’m obviously very opinionated about this alcohol thing to Kyle but I just don’t like drunken women and I am a kind of annoyed with her for not backing up and supporting her sister who just came out of rehab and would most likely appreciate Kyle taking this precious time to reconnect with her.

Overall, I think it was a good trip. The ride home was pretty uneventful. The limo dropped Camille and I off on the 101 and we shared a car back to Malibu and had some nice bonding time.

Anyway I absolutely love Lisa’s accent and I say don’t ever change girlfriend, no matter what anyone of these girls say. . .

They’re just jealous. . .

Have a great week everyone!

About Stoopid Housewives

The Real Housewives franchises have become a guilty pleasure for me and I've become intrigued by 'normal' people who would agree to put their lives on television for public display and scrutiny. What are their motives to divulge their daily routines for viewing audiences to approve, reprimand, berate, castigate, attack; basically abuse and judge? Oh, just forget about the above nonsense... the majority of these people are just stoo-pid.

  1. Hers says:

    Kyle, you just got served.

  2. donewithbravo says:

Trying to figure out why she’d lower herself to be on this show. She doesn’t need the money or possible future business deals. I’m amazed at her patience with these women. She’s in an entirely different class.

    • Hers says:

      That’s what I can’t figure out.

    • Isalove says:

You are right! I’m still scratching my head. Why is she here?
I love Yolanda and her attitude but I think she has so much class
      For these group of ladies.

    • Erika says:

Shockingly I learned Kyle has more money than her. I guess for the LA types fame really is that a big a deal even if you are set for life.

    • EL_NL says:

If I understood correctly from her tweet, Yolanda has a business to promot called “keep you’re romance alive”

      • donewithbravo says:

Yolanda has enough of an audience thru her husband alone. She doesn’t need Bravo! She could post an ad onto one of his concert brochures and it would attract MANY more people than Bravo’s audience.

  3. I really like YoFo she has a head on her shoulders and she uses it wisely. I feel she had Kim’s best interest at heart and stuck by her whiles the others went off to drink. To me she is a wonderful addition to the clan.

    • Hers says:

      Ditto, Barb.

      • Aint Pittypat says:

Why does Bravo insist on women getting totally wasted to have fun? I respect Yolanda for not joining in and staying sober. The food was beautiful, the location gorgeous but they were so wasted who could appreciate any of it! Good for Kim for making a wise choice and following Yolanda’s example . Yolanda obviously puts health and sobriety above the popularity contest. She is head and shoulders above the rest of them. She seems to genuinely be in a good place and above the drama.

        • Hers says:

I must be from a different world. When I go out with my friends, we have one glass of wine, if that. I really don’t understand this need to drink to excess.

  4. donewithbravo says:

P.S.: And from the snippets I saw, I did NOT see any Shana meltdown. I recall when this Ojai trip really took place, it was all over the slutrags that Shana’s meltdown was the biggest yet and everyone was worried about her alcohol intake and her state of mind. Where was that footage????? What is going on? Why are they keeping her on???????

    • Sparklie222 says:

I purposely watched to see the Shana meltdown. There was nothing. Shana hardly said a word. Loved Lisa in this episode and I hope Kim stays the same as she was this time all season. The rest were boring. Watching 40 somethings doing cartwheels. ho hum. STFU Kyle you annoying troublemaker. I heart Yolanda.

      • donewithbravo says:

So, what happened to all of the Shana-meltdown footage?? Why did Bravo decide not to show it? I thought that this was going to be the excuse to oust her from the show?? Now I’m worried that she’ll be around for the whole season.

    • Idagal says:

Yeah, what happened? The whole episode was anticlimatic. I was hoping to see someone dunk Shana’s head in a toilet and keep flushing and flushing…

      • donewithbravo says:

I can only watch it in 10 min incriments. It’s all too painful, but even moreso knowing SWINE isn’t getting kicked off by now, and that other shows are keeping the dead weight too (Caroline, Jax……). It’s beyond desperate.

        • PLM7489 says:

i might have to change my screen name to donewithbravo2 because its really disheartening that they’re keeping these vile people on tv that have no likeable characteristics — i’m NOT watching NJ season with them keeping all of the cast why? why? why? i don’t think they’re going to see those ratings again with NJ — don’t know if i’m in the majority but it was starting to make me sick to my stomach and i was all riled up on the blogs — i want to watch tv that is enjoyable not that infuriates me

        • Marcia H. Ribera says:

Weren’t Brandi’s drunken tirades enuf 4 u? I can’t believe that girl has custody of those poor boys…

    • Meatball Mom says:

There were also stories about her getting very drunk at Portia’s birthday party and flipping out. Bravo didn’t show that either.

    • sd says:

I’m with you! It is the reason I watched. SWINE is getting a sweetheart edit and I am incensed

  5. Nicole says:

Yolanda is getting more and more annoying in her blog. Clearly she has some kind of issue with Kyle and is acting rather passive aggressively. Every blog so far, she has something to say about Kyle. Kyle was not the only person wearing 8 in. heels to the badminton game. Lisa DID look like a beekeeper, albeit, a cute one. Obviously Yolanda missed Kyle’s whole explanation of why Taylor wasn’t happy for her and why Kyle was annoyed or “catty” at dinner. It wasn’t about her not being happy that Brandi got a book deal, it’s because Brandi ruined dinner, if you will, with her STFU comment and at the time Kyle didn’t know what was going on.

Yolanda is just another woman who acts like she’s above the drama and is full of class, but she’s no better than the other women. She’s shown time and time again just how catty she is in her blogs.

    • Sparklie222 says:

I don’t think Brandi ruined the dinner at all. She had a nice conversation with Kim.

      • Hers says:

I don’t either. I was much more offended by Adrienne’s buttinsky “someone’s crying” comment than Brandi’s STFU.

      • Linda says:

I think you misunderstood the comment: No one knew what Brandi and Kim were talking about and the other women were having conversations amongst themselves. When Brandi told Adrienne to shut the F up, it changed the whole mood of the evening and that’s what Kyle was pointing out.

        • Meatball Mom says:

I couldn’t believe Kyle saying over and over and OVER again that Brandi didn’t have to use the F word, when in season 1, Kyle told Camille at a dinner in a restaraunt to Shut the F up. Why didn’t Taylor, Camille, Lisa or Kim say that, if not at the table, during the talking heads??? Kyle is such a hypocrite.

          • Meatball Mom says:

oops, Kyle didn’t tell Camille to shut the f up, she called her a F’ing liar. sorry

            • Hers says:

You’re right. And I think Adrienne’s the one that changed the mood at the table with her buttinsky “someone’s crying” comment, which called everyone’s attention to a quite and nice moment between Brandi and Kim. I don’t blame Brandi for sounding off on her.

            • Maudtherriault says:

And she did it at the after-show party for Frasier’s Broadway gig that Camille invited her to. Ah, those Richards sisters are classy with a k.

            • Ghunnie says:

              Like

          • Isalove says:

Why didn’t Taylor, Lisa, Camilla or Kim said anything? Because they don’t like Brandi. It kind of feels like whatever Kyle says its right even if its wrong. It seems like they are scared of her or her big obnoxious mouth.

      • Aunt Dorsey says:

Brandi and Kim walked to the ladies room together, while Kyle stayed at the table to continue bleating about the dirty word Brandi said and raise the level of outrage at Brandi. To hell with the fact her sister was crying. YoFo and Swine were later additions to the bathroom huddle, while Kyle continued to raise the level of hysteria at the table. Because, we all know Kyle is a lady and would NEVER, ever use language like that. We’ve certainly never heard her *bleeped* on the tube (cough, cough) and she always behaves likes a perfect lady.

Interestingly enough, on WWHL, Swine professed to be on Brandi’s side in this dog-fight and said that Adrienne should have minded her own bidness. But that’s probably because she saw the way the wind was blowing.

(I like this snow….I may break into Christmas carols….hold your ears)

    • Nicole says:

First of all, Kim shouldn’t have even came back to the show considering she knew that they all drink champagne and wine like fish. Secondly, if Kim wanted to reconnect with Kyle, having a girls trip wasn’t the place to do it. How about Kim and Kyle sit down one-on-one and discuss their issues and reconnect? It is insensitive for all the women to drink in front of Kim while she’s working on her sobriety, but at the same time, she knew what she was getting herself into. Instead of expecting everyone to cater to Kim’s sobriety, she should have taken herself out of the equation all together by not coming back for a 3rd season of the show.

    • Idagal says:

I didn’t see Yolanda being catty at all. She’s just not used to being around a bunch of bawdy women. And it’s about time someone called Vyle out on her nasty, snippy little cracks she makes. How Vyle’s pussy whipped husband can stand her I will never know.

      • MaRiley says:

I’m with you, Idagal. Yolanda’s blogs are written as the show airs. She (and the rest of them) don’t see how Andy has edited them til they see it. She’s not catty to me; she’s probably getting a new perspective now on how these witches operate.

    • Mel says:

I love love love YOanda. I think Kyle defends Adrienne and Taylor as if she is their lawyer…..had it been Lisa, kye would have said…”oh no i don’t want to get involved”. I think Yolanda has Kyle’s number and will not be fake. I also think Lisa has Kyle’s number too and is no longer as close as she as to her b4. I find Kyle to be a fake biatch who will smile to yur face and act like she is ur friend…..but talk mad shiiit behind ur back. I am glad Yoland called her as out as the other women continue to give her a pass.

    • Bubbies says:

Nicole – “Kyle was not the only person wearing 8 in. heels to the badminton game.” Right …but she IS the only one who constantly mocks the other women. YoFo called her on it. If the other women start constantly spouting off with catty comments about the other women then I hope they get called on it just like Kyle did in this blog.
Kyle isn’t used to being called out for her immature and rude behaviour. I’m glad YoFo is giving as good as Kyle deserves.

      • maythel says:

You said it Bubbies…YoFo called her out and was right on the money and as you said Manhands/lip licking lizard/Vyle/Byle got served as she deserves. Kylee is jealous of her just like she is with Brandi.Liking YoFo more & more.

        Kylee got served…Love it :)

    • sd says:

I’m glad she called Kyle out, Kyle’s a hypocrite and a brat and there is finally someone who will stand up to her.

  6. LoveVegas says:

YoFo, you have nothing to apologize for. You totally OWNED Kyle in this blog – please do it again next week and every week after! :)

  7. PLM7489 says:

I think yolanda makes a good point – the trip was to celebrate kim’s sobriety and they went off on a binger – good for yolanda showing respect for kim and calling it a night — kyle is so vile and gives new meaning to self involved

  8. french says:

If someone I knew was struggling with addiction issues, invites me on a weekend outing, the last thing I would do is get drunk, this just shows how little respect Kyle has for Kim, we watch kyle let that gross drunk woman (Shana) insult Kim all last season, now she gets to insult Kim and be totally drunk in her face, So happy someone is calling Kyle out, I think I adore Yolanda! Have a great night, thanks

  9. madepiley says:

YoLo breaking her back in childbirth brought back memories of back labor for me. I remember thinking mine was surely gonna break at any moment and everyone assuring me that that would not happen…..

    • kel says:

How can that happen? I had some back labor too, but I thought it was just pain in the nerves/muscles, idk how you could actually break bones?

      • I’m thinking yolanda “broken back” is something that is lost in translation. She probably just has some degenerative back issues.

        • cherry: YoFo stated that she broke her back giving birth to Anwar. TFC!! SH

        • sd says:

Yolanda said that Anwar was in danger and was having an irregular heartbeat(maybe) and in a panic she pushed him out. The wrong way is guess and ruptured three discs. When she says she “broke” her back this is what she means. I know because of the surgery she had afterwards. I am trying to have the same surgery in my neck from an accident that I had but when you have three in a row in your upper neck it’s tricky, she had hers in her lower spine.

  10. madepiley says:

    Kyles dress was see thru.

  11. Isalove says:

    LOVE HER!!!
Wow look at you Yolanda. The claws came out @ “Look in the mirror, girl. You are wearing 8-inch heels, a see-through mini dress, and a Chanel purse on the badminton field. . .ugh, really?”

    YESSSS! You tell her Yolanda.

  12. madepiley says:

    Yolonda,
My precious angel baby daughter uses that “God gave you one mouth and two ears for a reason” phrase all the time.
Sometimes its just best to ….talk to ya later. right?

    Love,
    Made

  13. Bella Bella says:

    LOOOOOOOVE YOFO!!!!

  14. TangyOrange says:

Kyle takes the ‘side’ she thinks will get her the most airtime. Kyle’s not loyal in the slightest. Look how she has sided against her own sister since S1.

Didn’t take Yolanda long to figure these girls out. She has the power, brass and fortitude to call it like it is. Can’t wait for Marisa Zanuck to appear on the scene.

    Loving Yolanda.

  15. cable critic says:

Maybe Shana’s new “boyfriend” aka attorney is keeping Bravo from showing her at her best (drunk). There has to be a reason she is sticking so close to an already married man.

Kyle made such a big drama out of Kim’s situation last year and this year when Kim is doing so great can’t Kylie muster up a little enthusiasim? I guess if there’s no drama or it isn’t about her she can’t be bothered. (BTW go Kim! You are shining this year)
I wanted to know if the procedure that Yolanda had for her back worked. Can’t believe no one asked her.

    • lisa the Irish Dragon says:

he is prob the only one who will have her.I bet the farm he dosnt marry her just strings her along until he dumps her.

  16. Tallulah says:

Yo is the best friend Kim needs-especially now. Unlike Vyle, Yo supports Kim’s sobriety, is truly concerned for her well-being. Her not getting sh&t housed proves it.
There’s only room for 1 witch per season. Traylor gets a pass and Adrienne goes through the wringer.

  17. hazeleyes44 says:

I must say, as a newly-recovering alcoholic (a few months in), I find it very admirable of Yolanda to set the pace, or try to anyway, for the rest of the women throughout this difficult process for Kim. I agree that Kim probably knew what she was getting into when she signed up to go on the trip, but the other girls also knew about what Kim was going through and seemed to really just.. not care? Especially Kyle, shame on her. I just celebrated my 25th birthday (sober for the first time in 4 years) and all of my friends surprised me with amazing food and good old-fashioned games and chatter. To me, the greatest gift of them all was my friends being so supportive (although I wouldn’t have minded if they did drink). Little things like that mean the world. I know that I am blessed and I shouldn’t expect everyone to receive the same amount of support and love, but after reading Yolanda’s perspective, I do find it quite inconsiderate and hurtful of Kyle to not step up and do what Yolanda did. I have a whole new respect for the woman.
