Welcome back, we open with this ongoing situation between Adrienne and myself. After my thank you note, she had reached out to initiate a meeting. It was a long awaited resolution that was clearly needed in order for us to move on. I have always, since entering into this domain, been open and honest with you, and now as you witness this attempt at repairing a friendship that lay in tatters, I can’t deceive you and pretend that it will ever be resolved truly, as it has been too long and too convoluted to ever hope for that friendship that was once there. . . However due to circumstances, it was essential that this came to fruition otherwise I was unwilling to even engage her.
There have been too many manufactured, unfounded stories in the press, given by one of her employees since then, that I have never reacted or retaliated to, for me to believe that this apology was sincere and her goal was to bridge the divide between us.
If you notice, when I greeted her in Ojai, we kissed which was a level of civility that certainly wasn’t there previously. That’s the best we could hope for at this point.
I had an idea that a photoshoot with Brandi for the magazine I worked for, Beverly Hills Lifestyle, was just what she needed. She is a beautiful woman and her level of confidence is not what it should be, as a result of the path that her life has taken. The whole layout, which you can see in the magazine, was a complete success, which I am sure even Brandi will agree on. . .or not.
So off we go to Ojai, chatting in the car lightheartedly, but then you see signs of the vulnerability that has endeared Brandi to me, little glimpses of the struggles that she has had to overcome. I knew she was a little nervous about spending a weekend with all these ladies, but it was a much needed break.
When we arrived, obviously we were unaware of the room allocations that had happened previously, but when we were shown to the attic, that was separate from the house, I understood and to be honest really didn’t care. Brandi and I have no issues. We are totally relaxed together and it was a situation that drawing straws for example was potentially fraught with danger!
At dinner I was fascinated when I viewed this scene between Brandi and Kim. As I hadn’t witnessed it, I had really only become aware of a problem when I heard Brandi tell Adrienne to shut the f— up. Something I wish I had done a long time ago but, at that moment it seemed inappropriate. However I heard after and now realize that it was just another snarky attempt by Adrienne to imply that Brandi was causing a problem. Not so.
The never ending tumultuous route that these friendships take are what I find so fascinating. Let us not forget it was Adrienne who introduced Brandi to this group, much to my chagrin, as I knew there was a connection to Cedric. . .who would believe the way, this has transpired?!?
So keep watching, it certainly becomes far more intense, but coupled with laughter and so many good times. I have not a minute of regret.I love your comments that have been so insightful. Keep them coming. . .Till next week.

I love how Adrianne accuses Lisa of using Brandi to speak for Lisa. She has been using he Chef openly to speak for her posting to Facebook and sell stories since season 1. I wouldn’t be comfortable being friends with Adrianne while she lets Berney run around unchecked about information about her friends.
Dont forget he posted those “abuse” pictures to try and out Paul as a abuser.

The thing is..The thing with adrienne is so far past an apology. She did not just accuse Lisa of selling stories. She called Brandi and Camille and Kyle, and Taylor to get them all together before the reunion special to make a plan to take Lisa down. That is unforgiveable..The selling the stories can be set aside. That cannot
Lisa can handle it… Adrienne knows that Lisa is the “it” girl in that neck of the woods. No one wants to be on the outside looking in…they know too many people in common etc. Lisa has a far ranging influence and popularity than Adrienne. That is the reason Adrienne and Paul were annoyed about not being invited to Lisa’s party…

I was disapointed in Brandi when Lisa asked her what she would of previously changed in her life. Brandi instantly focused on what she could of done differently and improved herself. Brandi, Brandi, Brandi….what you SHOULD of answered was I never would of married a lout named Eddie Sphaghetti. You are fine.
Not really. Because then she wouldn’t have had her beautiful boys. But, she did say she would have divorced him sooner.
I agree with you. The question was sort of stupid in the first place. It seemed unexpected by Brandi and needed more thought. It’s a hard question to answer off the top. I could ask Lisa the same question regarding her trust of Cedric (who took complete advantage of her). If things were different, they wouldn’t be the same.
Cable Critic, I am being kind here – it is ‘would have’, ‘could have’, ‘SHOULD have’.
It amazes me how many people actually make that mistake. Could have or could’ve. Could’ve they interpret as could OF. So you’re not alone cable critic.
I know what you mean. I think when people say ‘Could have’, it may sound like ‘Could of’, so it is natural that one might think it is ‘Of’ instead of ‘Have’. Funny how things work.
And others just say “coulda, woulda, shoulda.”
Have always loved Lisa. Adrianne seems so incredibly petty this season. I like Brandi. She brings a freshness (in more ways than one) to the show. What ever happened to the bravo message boards?
I really hope Paul didnt do all the work on Adriannes face, if so it dont say much for his work. She looks like a monster. Horrible facial features.

I don’t think he did. I seem to remember in one of the episodes she said that she wouldn’t let him because if he messed up her face it would not bode well for their relationship. So, she let someone else screw up her face.
I think there’s an ethical code saying a doctor generally shouldn’t treat his own family members.
As always, you are a class act. You are honest, hilarious, and don’t have to yell and scream to make your point. Your recipes have certainly changed our households dining experience and helped me learn new cooking concepts. You are a joy to watch. If you are honest you don’t have to be calculating. I think that us what some of the other ladies can’t fathom, because they are not honest.
Kudos to Lisa for helping Brandi get that gig. She looked great, if a bit too thin.
I loved that Lisa called Kyle out about imitating her English accent and told her to try Yolanda’s accent instead. Kyle seemed incredibly uncomfortable after that. Maybe Lisa should imitate Kyle and start licking her lips like a lizard and doing the splits.
She should add the quirky mannerism of Kyle’s of always adjusting her clothes. Not sure if this is a tick, or if all her clothes don’t fit.
I do that adjusting bit if I’ve gained a couple of pounds and the clothes aren’t hanging right. She probably needs to size up.
That’s funny: Lisa should mimic Vyle – she did a good impression of Kim (with the raspy voice and vapid comments) last season. Vyle really has no story line this season, does she? I mean, so far – she’s had a birthday party for one child and took the other daughter to get her license. Where’s the major interest?
I think Lisa is a beautiful classy woman. She will be a good mentor for Brandi…
I like her too. I’m glad she’s getting her own show. Maybe she’ll take Yolanda, Brandi and Camille with her and leave Kyle, Kim, Taylor and Adrienne to “sort things out.”
I like Lisa but almost every blog she does has the words ‘fruition’ and ‘tumultuous’ in it!! Each time I have a little game of spot Lisa’s favourite buzz words lol
The bond between Lisa and Brandi is endearing to watch, and I believe it is genuine, why else would Lisa and Ken have been there for Brandi the day she needed an ambulance if not? (Lisa & Ken drove over the moment they found out Brandi was ill).
Perhaps this is another factor that drives Adrienne’s jealousy? Adrienne knows how to have acquaintances, but I don’t think I have witnessed so far that she really understands the true meaning of friendship. The Maloof is certainly aloof IMHO.
It’ll be nice to see if Brandi and Kim grow somewhat closer, but one of the main reasons I watch RHOBH is the friendship between Lisa and Brandi.
Do you think Lizard Lips/Man Hands (Vyle) is becoming jealous of Lisa and Brandi’s burgeoning friendship? It used to be all Lisa and Kyle (like Lucy & Ethel)…
Yes, I think there is a degree of jealousy from Kyle but not as deep as it is with Adrienne. (I’ve no idea who Lucy and Ethel are lol, but I take it they were close?).
I agree with most of everybody’s comments. Someone asked earlier about the Bravo Message Boards. Does anybody know what happened to them & do you know if they intend on putting them back up @ a later date.
okay. I figured it out. Did anyone see Casino with Sharon Stone and DeNiro? Taylor is Sharon stone! Going for the high life, and ultimately failing in a drug filled seedy world…Taylor’s narcissism completely reminds me of the Sharon Stone character! What does anyone else think?
