Hi everyone. . .
Thank you so much for taking the time out of your busy day to read my blog and get to know me better.
Please know that I am a very straight shooter, and that I stand behind every word that comes out of my mouth. However, English is not my first language and sometimes I say things that get lost in translation, or I’ll makeup words that don’t even exist in the English dictionary.
That said, let’s get to the good stuff of this week. . .
I loved watching Kim. There is something about seeing her do so well that moves me. I really want her to succeed. As she was preparing for Kimberly’s prom, I felt joy for her, but also empathy because she is trying so hard to make up for lost time — which unfortunately she can’t.
It seems difficult for kids to understand that we as parents are human who sometimes make mistakes. they definitely don’t realize how much time and effort goes into getting them to that special prom day safe and sound. . .It’s a huge milestone!
When Kimberly walked out looking so gorgeous and calls her mom, I just got really emotional. I don’t know, it was such a sweet and tender moment between a mom and a daughter.
Kyle and Lisa’s and visit. . .I know Kyle wants to help, but honestly do we really want to hear her go in circles about the Adrienne situation one more time? She continues to inject herself into the subject without solving the problem. She seems to be playing both sides.
Paul’s conversation with Kim and Adrienne in the limo seemed so petty. I honestly don’t understand how any man could choose to get involved in his wife’s bickering with her girlfriend over shoes and a dog, but does he not leave out the fact that his wife accused Lisa of selling a story to the press?
Seeing this episode, I can’t help but feel that there is so much more drama going on then David and I could have ever imagined. It’s hard to be new in a group that has so much dramatic history and is now divided into two different groups. Some of the girls play in both groups (double-dipping?), and it kind of feels like high school. Haha.
Anyway our home is our home. We really don’t do big events here. We usually only host family and our inner circle of close friends.
I had no expectations but was excited to host a beautiful night and give the girls the opportunity to meet my family. I wanted them to get a glimpse of how I live my life and what I am about as a woman, a mother, and a friend — but unfortunately conversation never had a chance to run that deep.
I am surprised to see the girls get so snooty when talking about Richard, who happens to be much more than a butler. Not only has he been a friend and caterer of the Foster family for over 25 years; he’s also a fantastic restaurateur that loves the art of entertaining. So, we are always extremely thankful to have him help us when we host the occasional dinner party.
Sitting at the dinner table, I could see the alcohol was taking effect and I could feel the negative energy starting to rise. . .Brrr. . .it gives me goosebumps.
Taylor, of course, has to trash Brandi once again. She seeems to love to do that, preferably behind her back. . .
What really rubbed me the wrong way is the attitude and audacity with which she came into our home and started acting rudely and being disrespectful to my husband, who she never even met! NOTE: Shana claims that Linda Thompson Jenner Foster is her BFF and David should have known Shana. Once David dumped LyricistLinda, David probably erased all her friends from his memory!
She should be so honored to be in his company. Obviously our friends, musicians Chris Botti, Michael John, and Nita Withaker came out to accompany David on the piano and do a little show for our new friends, but it seemed like their petty fights and differences from the past stopped them from being in the moment and enjoying the fun night we had planned for them. Needless to say, it ended up being an early night!
I tried to break the ice and march them all out of the front door so I could burn some sage and get my happy house back. (Just kidding!)
Anyway, on and upwards! As you can imagine, the real drama has only just begun. . .
Have a great week. Talk soon,
XO
YO

Love that she seems to have Kim’s back. Give it up for the blonds, Camille, Adrienne and Yolanda being kind to Kim (that says something to me) they didn’t in Camille and Adrienne’s case try to excuse Kim’s drinking, but they certainly didn’t spotlight it or degrade her for it, they were supportive in a good way. In Yolanda’s case she seems to want to support Kim. Kyle, Taylor, Lisa, not so much. I think I like Yolanda, I’m reserving judgement because it’s two shows in, but so far…so good. I think her talking heads about her husband were more pride and not so much bragging. Hopefully she’ll call out Taylor (in a classy way) as well as call Kyle on her bs (of which she has quite a lot).
agreed!!
Awesome blog!! I love how she is already calling Byle out on the “double dipping” & the whole Lisa/Adrienne mess..I def love her calling a spade a spade when it comes to the drinking & Taylor running her big mouth about Brandi again. I dont blame her for feeling offended, definitely after seeing the show last night! Her husband is more accomplished than all of these women could be in 5 lifetimes!!
I with you it seems like Shanna is going to drive the wheels right off bus of Brandi’s joke of sleeping with everyone in BH. Why would you just say that to someone who doesnt know you or Brandi and rightfully so wouldnt give a rat’s behind, Shanna is total trash. When you come into someone’s home and they plan an evening, even if you dont like the singing or whatever your doing you go with the flow, your gracious, like Yolanda was being inviting trash like shanna.
Perfectly stated!
I, for one, thought Trashlor was trying to gain points with Yolanda by saying about Brandi what Brandi jokingly said about Yolanda. Brandi said it out of nervousness, not meanness.
That’s what I thought .. trying to find a common bond. Too bad it totally backfired .. and what sort of tool bag refers to someone as a “nemesis” to someone they’ve just met
I havent watched the episode yet but Im alittle taken back by YoYos statement about Kim not being able to make up for lost time with her daughter. It seems like when someone has a alcohol or drug problem…everyone wants to keep bringing up that persons past failings. Yes, I bet there were times that really sucked for her kids. Yes. But who among them will lament all the lost time with children spent on “girls vacations”… extravagant parties, two week long “business trips”, working all the time to maintain the lifestyle? Jet setting to the Caribbean while the kids stay back with their four nannies? Havent they ALL lost valuable time with their children? Havent most of us? Why bring it up just because Kim is an admitted alcoholic? Is it any worse than greed? Or vanity? Frankly, I worry for most of these ladie’s children…not just Kim’s.
I know what you’re saying Parkview…I didn’t really understand why she felt the need to bring up “lost time” concerning Kim either
Altogether though, I appreciate her support of Kim and I found most of her words about Kim very sincere. Gosh, people are such a mixed bag.
Thanks for the back up, Slaen. I wasnt sure if maybe I was being a baby about this. It just seems to me like people like to jump on the bandwagon over things like alcoholism…whatever the illness, condition of the day…you know? Meanwhile, there are plenty on sober, coherent parents out there that are screwing up their kids in other ways….and just because they arent alcoholics or drug addicts, their kids are being raised well. I see this all the time with my kids classmates. Plenty of money, two parents, car on their sixteenth birthday…and their kids are unkind and ungracious because their parents arent bothering to teach them values or anything, really. Provide a nice home, a stable environment…and you produce nice kids. Most of the kids and teens we have had problems with are from these “better” families…not the kids from the not so nice areas. If your kids see that all you care about is money and “stuff”….that is all they will care about, too.
Well you can have nice kids without a stable home, environment, cars, or money also.
Yes. My point exactly. Sometimes I think its easier to raise good kids without the money and stuff.
Yeah. When I said “provide a nice home, stable environment… And you produce nice kids” I was saying that is their mentality. I dont believe that at all. I see how I was unclear with that.
@parkview & Lobstahsmaht
Your statements “Well you can have nice kids without a stable home, environment, cars, or money also.” That is true but, it is the exception not the rule. “Sometimes I think its easier to raise good kids without the money and stuff.” The first part of that statement – “without the money” is true but the second part “and stuff” which I believe you were referencing Lobstasmaht’s assertion about the “stable home and environment” does not ring true to the statistics. I am NOT saying that great kids don’t come from lousy familial situations but it is NOT easier for them nor is it easier for the parent. All statics show that a child has the deck stacked against them – in a BIG way – when born to a single mother. We need to acknowledge that a 2 parent household is the most stable for raising children and THAT – no other statistic – including socioeconomic – is the biggest factor for raising well adjusted children that grow to be well adjusted, productive adults. We must not continue to delude ourselves.
Controlling for socioeconomic status, race, and place of residence, the strongest predictor of whether a person will end up in prison is that he was raised by a single parent. By 1996, 70 percent of inmates in state juvenile detention centers serving long-term sentences were raised by single mothers. Seventy-two percent of juvenile murderers and 60 percent of rapists come from single-mother homes. Seventy percent of teenage births, dropouts, suicides, runaways, juvenile delinquents, and child murderers involve children raised by single mothers. Girls raised without fathers are more sexually promiscuous and more likely to end up divorced. A 1990 study by the Progressive Policy Institute showed that after controlling for single motherhood, the difference between black and white crime rates disappeared.
Various studies have come up with slightly different numbers, but all the figures are grim. According to the Index of Leading Cultural Indicators, children from single-parent families account for 63 percent of all youth suicides, 70 percent of all teenage pregnancies, 71 percent of all adolescent chemical/substance abuse, 80 percent of all prison inmates, and 90 percent of all homeless and runaway children.
A study cited in the Village Voice produced similar numbers. It found that children brought up in single-mother homes ‘are five times more likely to commit suicide, nine times more likely to drop out of high school, 10 times more likely to abuse chemical substances, 14 times more likely to commit rape (for the boys), 20 times more likely to end up in prison, and 32 times more likely to run away from home.’ Single motherhood is like a farm team for future criminals and social outcasts.
….Many of these studies, for example, are from the 1990s, when the percentage of teenagers raised by single parents was lower than it is today. In 1990, 28 percent of children under eighteen were being raised in one-parent homes (mother or father), and 71 percent were being raised in two-parent homes. By 2005, more than one-third of all babies born in the United States were illegitimate.
That’s a lot of social problems coming.
As I stated, it is the exception, not the rule and we need to stop deluding ourselves that it is not,
Stuff = designer clothes, manicures, nose jobs, sports cars, you know….stuff. I would never use the word “stuff” instead of “stable home environment”. As for the rest of it….I have no idea how you took that away from my comment.
Depends on the second parent. Some of the most messed up / drug plauged people I’ve seen have come from 2 parent homes. If one parent is abusive in ANY way , not just hitting, but cheating calling the other parent names & the child sees the parent accepting this they not only think this is the norm, but the believe they must not be of much value themselves if the abused parent is of (or feels & acts like) they are of no value. One of the saddest things I’ve seen was these older women who stayed “for the kids sake” & how they lost their youth & to a large degree their own lives to putting up with a terrible husband who had no respect for them. It’s pitful really.
@Maybe What you state is true but statistics are statistics. Too many Lifetime movies would have you think that only people with the most horrible of situations divorce but that is the total opposite. What you are stating is ancedotal, here is a compilation of studies on divorce with analysis. It is quite educational–

http://www.psychologytoday.com/blog/the-teenage-mind/201110/divorce-hurts-children-even-grown-ones
We’ve become a throw-away society and our marriages and – in effect – our children have taken the biggest hit for this mentality. The grass ain’t always greener and the numbes don’t lie.
I’d agree if it was after another couple years from now, but her issues with drugs or alcohol just happened, and her recovery is mentioned on the show, so I don’t think the topic is off limits right now. And having a busy or extravagant life is different than having an alcohol abuse problem, she was probably really emotionally unavailable to her kids, being intoxicated all the time….
Off topic (sorry) but FINALLY the women’s blogs from Miami are trickling in! Went 2 Bravo to see wht was up & saw Hohanna had posted hers midday yesterday…Cant wait 2 read Ms SH’s comments with the blog..so Im waiting 2 read it.
I love her honestly — she is my new fav of beverly hills! AMEN for honesty!
Me too and I agree with her on her views of Kim. However, based on previews of the upcoming episodes, Kim will not cut Brandi any slack. That I do not like and IMO kim needs to move on. SWINE is egging it on too. Kim, move on. You weren’t kind to Brandi either at the game night party and I believe u started it.
Al this time I thought that Linda Thompson was Brandi’s friend. Swine made an ass out of herself at that dinner party…. again.
Swine is not capable of having a BFF
Agreed! I bet Linda Thompson cringed when shaft said that.
MP: From January 2011: Photo of Shana with her friend, LyricistLinda: http://stoopidhousewives.com/2011/01/19/a-look-back-at-rhobh-from-casting-to-filming/ TFC!!! SH
I don’t go back very far reading this site though it has become my #1 go-to for HW news in the last 9 months or so. I have to comment that post from January 2011 with the report from the Daily Truffle is hilarious. Comedy GOLD. Adrienne talked up to the heavens. Lisa Todd. Kyle’s real nose fotos! And the icing on the cake, Shanna : “the business woman of the group”! Oy vey!
Now why did I read that. It stated Kyle was born in 1969. So was my son. I can’t believe I’m old enough to have her as a daughter. Of course, she does look old for her age. And I was 16 in 69, but still.
P.S. I could get lost for hours in SH Archives.
By this time wasn’t Swine already dating her currant love of her life but Danny boy was more than she could handle? Since when is Danny Boy a funeral song and not an Irish ballad. It was just another opportunity for Swine to pull the sympathy card.
Thats what I was thinking, I have heard of Danny Boy being sung at weddings ..but a Funeral song. Nice try SWINE we all know you were boinking the married dude at this time You know the love of your life and now you get weepy for Russell…Not buying what you are selling SWINE.
I’m Irish and married to a police sergeant…… ole Danny boy is a very traditional Irish song usually played at a wake/funeral. Love it with Bagpipes.
Gosh I just couldn’t stand the tortured faces Traylor was making. Then attempting to take control of someone elses dinner party. It was guite obvious Traylor was out of her element/class. How the hell did she get on RHBH to begin with ? She definitely was NOT part of the Hollywood crowd…… unless she came through the back door. This episode more then any other made it quite obvious she NEVER was anything but a wanna be. AS if Chris Botti would be interested in her…… hell you can pick up a better turned out Traylor on any Hollywood street corner …… she reminds me of that villian from an old James Bond film the one with the metal jaws….. Botti probably had nightmares imagining that in his lap …… if she keeps going with those face fillers her jaw is going to clamp open next time she opens her chops. Whenever I see her I start hearing the theme song from Jaws.
Ha! Jaws!
Poor Chris, bless his heart.
Ok gotcha I wasnt sure if it was played at wakes, I defer to your expertise on the subject. However her weepy play for sympathy was pathetic considering everyone knows she moved on 5 mins after Russells furneral and was dating before he ever died. And now she is boinking the married man oh wait he is divorcing now so that makes it all better…….NOT.
Taylor isnt rich, dosnt own her own home and leases that car she drives, her birkins are all fake I bet all her dersigner stuff are knock-offs. I bet she was drooling at Yolanda house and nice things.
This guy she is screwing may have money now but you can bet after the divorce he wont be between Alimony and CS obligations he wont be such a attractive catch. next thing you know she will be kissing Yolanda ass so Yo will introduce her to some rich musicains. WATCH OUT YO SWINE will be kissing your arse soon.
What was funny was her twisting up her face trying to squeeze out a few tears. She was trying to cry up a storm to get the “Oh poor Taylor” scene. Remember when she crawled in the suitcase? Who the eff does that?
That’s what I thought too. Maybe SWINE will shed some light on that relationship. She’s such a famewhore and celebrity suck-up.
@Made U R hilarious & accurate about swine!
I’m glad she mentioned the other women’s childish treatment of the caterer. Kyle has absolutely no class or tact. Born and raised in Beverly Hills … you’d think she wouldn’t be so clueless and ungracious.
Pssssht Vyle may have been born and raised in BH, but she practically lives in the Valley now. Just sayin’
I believe Kylie’s roots are actually some cheap town on long island, cuz I think that’s where Kathy hiltonwas born. Maybe born and raised in BH, but they’re nothing more than one step away from white trash. Kylie’s BH was not Yolanda’s or Lisa’s, difference in socioeconomics here. BH has some crappy homes and residential bldgs, BH is not always synonymous with real cash.
Cash, smash. A zip code does not a lady make.
Absolutely, my point.
Yolanda is a much better hostess than i even realized. when she saw the pettiness in some of the women and the disrespect they were showing her husband and the musician guests, she ended the night and kicked them out! WTG yolanda!! they missed an opportunity to be entertained by the best of the best in the music world. i’m sure she keyed right in on her husband’s attitude when paul asked him to pick a different song. david was trying to entertain people and paul and taylor took the attitude you (david foster acclaimed musician) need to entertain me. NOT!
You do know David Foster’s music is like Mcdonald’s as compared to fine dining??
wow what a harsh a disrespectful comment about someone who has that many grammys. but maybe you’re referring to the theme song he wrote for ronald mcdonald house charities which has raised more than $50 million world-wide to benefit children’s charities. the music he wrote for the olympics that is played at the bellagio fountain ceremony is enough to capture my love of his music.
Mayzie May: I’m trying to understand that statement. What type of music would be “fine dining” then, in your opinion? Classical? David Foster has an EXTREMELY impressive background. He’s got the golden touch. His music touches on pop/standards/jazz. It will be around forever. I disagree with the McDonald’s statement, wholeheartedly, as I’ve heard lots of his music and seen many of his hand-chosen performers in concert.
maybe because like mcdonalds has sold so many burgers david has so many hits? that because he wasn’t a one or two hit wonder and his music has transcended generations that he’s like a music chain? and produced so many amazing artists? maybe he should have stopped after just one or two? And maybe he should have written the music for only one of the olympics rather than several? Oh yeah, and not engage in writing and producing songs for governments to celebrate national holidays? Wiki: He is noted for producing some of the most successful musical artists in the world, including Bryan Adams, Christina Aguilera, Air Supply, All-4-One, The Bee Gees, Andrea Bocelli, Boz Scaggs, Toni Braxton, Michael Bublé, Mariah Carey, Charice, Cher, Chicago, Destiny’s Child, Neil Diamond, Céline Dion, Earth Wind and Fire, Gloria Estefan, Jackie Evancho, Josh Groban, Hall & Oates, Whitney Houston, Janet Jackson, Michael Jackson, Chaka Khan, Beyoncé Knowles, Kenny Loggins, Madonna, Olivia Newton-John, Nsync, Prince, LeAnn Rimes, Kenny Rogers, Seal, Barbra Streisand, Donna Summer, Tamia, and Shania Twain. David Foster has won 16 Grammy Awards from 47 nominations. Foster composed the score for the film St. Elmo’s Fire,[6] including the instrumental “Love Theme from St. Elmo’s Fire”, which hit No. 15 on the US pop charts. Another song from the film, “St. Elmo’s Fire (Man in Motion)”, recorded by John Parr hit No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 on September 7, 1985. He has been nominated three times for an Academy Award for Best Original Song and won the 1999 Golden Globe Award for Best Original Song for the song “The Prayer” (sung by Andrea Bocelli and Celine Dion) from the film Quest for Camelot. He has been named BMI’s “Songwriter of the Year”.[23]
In June 2010, he was inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame.[24]
PLM: While your research is appreciated, it would have been much easier to just do a quick search on SH! http://stoopidhousewives.com/2012/10/28/takin-a-sh-detour-who-is-david-foster/ TFC!!! SH
I completely agree. I, for one, think that Yolanda is a wonderful addition to the show. She has good sense, class, taste and manners, in addition to beauty. What a wonderful role model. Finally. (Muhammed should’ve never let her go).
i really like her so far. she is so beautiful and gracious. i think she keyed right in on the type of women that make these shows and makes me think it validates the argument that they are almost all narcissists. they couldn’t just sit there and enjoy the music that was being offered them. kyle had to try on her best voice for amazing grace. kim said it best that she butchers songs and wouldn’t have given it a try. good for david for calling out kyle – you’re going to sit there and try to sing with the woman that worked out the kinks of the bodyguard soundtrack for whitney houston sitting next to you? huh??
It was a party! Regardless if there are professional singers there or not, at the end of the day it’s a party and the guests are allowed to sing. Good for David for calling Kyle out? It was disrespectful. I don’t care if Celine Dion was in the room, IT’S A DINNER PARTY, not a recording session.
BTW, if David wanted just the singers to sing, he should have made that clear by saying Nita was going to perform…which he did not.
“OK Taylor” LOL
I could be wrong, but I remember Yolanda announcing to everyone, as she introduced Nita, that Nita was there to sing.
and david was THE HOST! he did tell them during the toast that he and the trumpet player and the american idol were going to perform for them. but before the chairs were even all moved and before david even got to turn to the piano, kyle, always making herself the center of everything, starts belting out lets sing amazing grace – kyle was rude DINNER PARTY or RECORDING SESSION, let the guy facilitate his own party and his own recording sessions – once david and the others actually got to start their performance they were all singing
Please give Kyle a break, at least she refrained from doing the splits on one of their tables.
LOL! and i’ll even give her credit for looking embarrassed when david told her to stop singing — i think she did think it was one of those campfire singing moments rather than a listening performance given by professionals
That was funny..and true! lol
To her credit. Note to housewives: to avoid having Kyle perform splits on your table, always have a large centerpiece!
LOL LOL. I just spit out my drink.
OMG if i had a dinner party and my husband was playing the piano with Celine Dion there to sing and my guests started belting in with her i would be mortified
Muhammed sold the ritz carlton so i guess he likes to let beautiful things go
This is the sort of episode I love watching–not for any of the tacky drama, but for a peek into a lifestyle I will never know. What’s fascinated me most was seeing the discomfort of some of the HWs’ who knew they were out of their league. I noticed that trashy was very self-conscious about not bringing a hostess gift and seemed to not know what to do with the hors d’oeuvres (though she swallowed that thing like a snake devouring a rat). Even though trashy and vyle managed to degrade the evening, as a group, they were remarkably restrained (at anyone else’s home, I think Ad would have confronted Lisa). The addition of “real” people and real talent threw most of them off their game. The only ones who seemed themselves were Lisa and Ken. I have tremendous respect for David Foster as a songwriter. It was refreshing to see how they entertain.
Can you imagine the conversation her and her husband had later? “Dear, I love you, but don’t ever invite those people over again.”
Great blog except for this… “She should be so honored to be in his company”…No I don’t think so, David Foster is just a man and seems to be a bit of a douchbag at that.
Love the comments about prissy Paul.
i think david and yolanda are both going to have to reconcile the difference between people being around david because they want to hear him play his music vs. people who are around because they are vying for the camera time. don’t know if it will turn into a story line or not but i’m pretty sure david has probably not been exposed to this before and he’s either confused or irritated not sure which
PLM: Knowing his musical background, I was shocked that he and his new bride were willing to be on this show!!! Don’t they know that everyone on the show all lack class and decorum??? I’d opt out now if I were the 2 of them. They don’t need new fans!!! They’re above this crap.
the only thing i can think of is to give her daughter more modeling exposure maybe? because she is gorgeous gorgeous gorgeous and probably got a lot of buz afterwards? i don’t know why they would be on the show (i’m glad they are) or maybe lisa convinced her to do it — i just hope she doesn’t lose her cool and go down down down like adiva did in NY
Gigi already has tons of modeling gigs. I doubt she needs the lame exposure from Bravo!!! And, these women are NEVER as close as they pretend to be (ex: Adrienne and Brandi). I doubt Lisa is *that* friendly with Yolanda–she just thought she’d make good tv. I hope the Fosters remain above the muck on this show.
me too cuz i feel like BRAVO hit the mother load getting them on this show
I agree PLM.
Lisa pretty much said that on The View this morning. She state she was brought on as Lisa’s friend, but that she really didn’t know her well.
I like Yolanda in three episodes she dont suger coat anything straight forward.. Tgat fridge was awesome I never saw anything like that before and Kyle was very impressed.. Paul butt out of your wife’s beefs bc once adrienne apologize to lisa he’s still going to feel some type of way just let it go Paul…Kim I’m happy shes on her way to recovery..Taylor Bleechhhhhhhh omg she is plucking my last nerve the rudness why is she repeating something that was a joke and repeating it over and over.. She is so silly…ughhhhh
Silly? The words vicious and vile come to mind, she reminds of a mutant reticulated python with that jaw of hers. Swine is a snake.
I just love watching her make an ASS of herself! Pathetic!
David Foster gets a new people’s grammy for getting the first ever set of real tears out of kyle. when he started playing the music he wrote that was her mother’s favorite song, even i teared up!
Yolanda is really starting to become annoying in her blogs about Kyle. It seems like she’s jumping on the bandwagon by having some sort of issue with Kyle. Kyle shouldn’t interject herself into Adrienne and Lisa’s drama, but at the same time, it Lisa/Adrienne didn’t want anyone butting in, they could refuse to talk about it all together. Kyle IS playing both side as Switzerland since she’s friends with both, but she’s made it clear that she think Adrienne is wrong. Don’t know why Yolanda is having such a hard time grasping that concept.
Kyle is a pig who allowed her drug-abusing, man-using sister, to hide a woman’s crutches and then spoke negatively about that woman’s precious little defenseless children. She’s not getting any sympathy out of me.
Um, is that a joke? Kyle NEVER spoke “negatively about that woman’s precious little defenseless children.” There’s a huge difference about talking about someone’s children and pointing out someone’s PARENTING which was what Kyle did. Kyle never said anything about the kid, in fact, she made it clear it wasn’t about Brandi’s son because he’s a child, but it was about Brandi AS A PARENT allowing her son to pee on someone’s yard.
And please, Kyle isn’t responsible for Kim’s actions. Kim is an adult – addiction or not – she is responsible for her OWN actions and Kyle shouldn’t take the fall for it just because poor Kim has a problem.
Um, you might want to go back and re-watch the footage. Why was Kyle in it anyway? It wasn’t even her grass! Oh that’s right. She did it for attention and the camera time because she is a pathetic attention whore.
And please, she could have fixed a negative situation, and given Brandi her crutches, but instead she fed into it, because she’s a pathetic attention whore. I believe that has been proven numerous times.
Ditto. The peeing on the grass by a small child was none of Vyle’s business. For all she knows, Brandi was planning to talk to the kid about it later, after they left the party. I guess she would have been satisfied if Brandi made a spectacle and disciplined the kid in front of all the guests?! And yes, Vyle DID know the crutch was hidden, but played along. When you know someone has done wrong and you could help, but you don’t speak up, what does that make you? An accessory. She’s GROSS.
And as I recall, Adrienne wasn’t upset at all. She said something like, “he’s a boy, boys are like that.”
Speaking of that afternoon, remember when Camille said “big hands, big feet, big disappointment?” The ladies all laughed and laughed! Then Brandi said the word c*ck. Vyle was mortified and disgusted!!! Then at Yo’s house as David was so sweetly sharing when he and Yo met for the first time, he said Yo looked him up and down, from head to toe. Yo said she was looking at his shoes, and Vyle said “Oh, I thought you were going to say something else!!!” Yes, Vyle being dirty in someone’s home, who she just met! So I guess in Vyle’s world is aok to insinuate “size”, as long as you don’t say a word for the male organ outright! Vyle gives herself a pass, she always does. She criticizes Brandi, then turns around and does the same thing herself…
Also, I recall Kyle having a bikini wax at home, just casually, on national television. As per season 1.
Please go back and watch game night. Kyle never criticized Brandi’s child. She criticized Brandi’s parenting. There is a difference.
Also, you may want to go back and watch the reunion as well as it was stated that Kyle was not in the room when Brandi was trying to leave and looking for her crutches.
Sure “Nicole”. Whatever you say.
Sure “goldandkajal”. Whatever you say.
umm…ok
I remember Kim admitting to Kyle that she hid the crutches, then Kyle failing to speak up later when she knew Brandi was looking for the crutches.
She did Hers, and Kyle just laughed, she thought it was hilarious. Too bad that didn’t happen at Yolanda’s home, she would have nipped that petty crap right in the bud..
She didn’t allow her child to pee in the yard. He just did it. She wasn’t close enough to go stop it. I have a boy and trust me boys do that and not because they are “allowed” to or trained to. But as a mother and grandmother, I certainly wouldn’t embarrass the child by making a big deal over it at the moment. I’m sure Brandi was embarrassed at the incident. She looked mortified.
Ditto, and Brandi probably talked to her son about it later. She handled it fine. I don’t think anyone enjoys seeing a kid getting “busted” in front of other people — except for maybe Vyle.
@goldandkajal – ITA 100%.
Why is Kyle given a pass for interfering but Yolanda isn’t permitted to discuss it? I like Yolanda’s take – and I think she’s right. Kyle IS playing both sides of the fence. A true friend doesn’t do that to either friend. If she thinks Adrienne’s wrong, the save her from herself and let her know she’s embarrassing herself. If she thinks Lisa is wrong, she should do the same.
Should be ‘THEN save herself (Adrienne)’… not the save herself…
Wait, when did I give Kyle a pass? I said Kyle shouldn’t have interfered and I said she IS playing both sides of the fence by trying to remain Switzerland. Kyle DID tell Adrienne that she needs to apologize. Just because she doesn’t come out and say “You’re wrong Adrienne, you need to say sorry” doesn’t mean that she’s not IMPLYING that to Adrienne.
I wanted to hear the singers and the trumpet player perform, Nita Whitaker is from my home town, and I could not believe Taylor ruined it. Danny Boy is about a grandfather telling his grandson that he is dying and going to a better place. I sang it a my mamaw’s funeral, because she taught me the song and used to play it on the piano and have me sing. It is not necessarily a funeral song, but a beautiful song that is moving. I wish they would have been allowed to perform, it is inspiring and calming to listen to music. Here are some of the lyrics:”oh danny boy, the pipes of pan are calling, from glen to glen and round the mountain side, the summer’s gone and all the leaves are falling, its you must go and I must bide. But ye come back when summers in the meadow and when the valley’s hushed and white with snow, its I’ll be there in sunshine or in shadow, Oh! Danny Boy, Oh, danny boy, I Love you so.”
I’ve never consider it a song about death; it is but indirectly. The true theme of the song is undying love – that of which Traylor has only ever experienced for herself…and that Godforsaken zip code she covets.
Glad to see you back, Adios.
Adios is back, but ROMO is still missing
I know, I miss Romo
Very common song at funerals.
Thanks for the lyrics, trishitrishi…it is a winsome and hauntingly beautiful song.
Thanks for writing out the lyrics. I remember Joan Baez did a beautiful version of this.
How did such a beautiful, successful, intelligent and genuine woman, get sucked into this franchise!? LOL
Yea, what’s the catch?
Good question, goldandkajal…dang, now I’m worried…it CAN’T be for the money or the fame…hmmm…what is the catch?
That’s what I thought too, when I first heard that they signed up for this show. They DON’T need the attention or more “fans”. Why expose themselves?????????
Okay — i’ve come up with a theory — i saw a post that david’s ex was on the show last year at brandi’s beach party — could it be the little green eyed monster over an ex that yolanda wants to show the ex that she got on the show and that her and david are in love? a little bit of a ‘stick it to the ex’ attitude perhaps?
PLM: Good guess, but she certainly doesn’t seem like the jealous type + she appears to have everything over Linda Thompson. I can’t figure out why she agreed to be on this show……. They didn’t even begin to explore their real personalities either–David is hilarious and warm and sweet. I don’t think that comes across yet, or maybe it’s too boring for this evil show.
Well this is not her first rodeo, she was already on the Dutch version of real housewives so she does to an extent already know what is going to happen. Maybe she just wants to as well known here as she is in Europe.
sd: Ahh, I didn’t know that. I didn’t even know that there was a Dutch version.
Yes, it was basically a show about Dutch women in hollywood and it chroniceled everything leading up to the wedding. Of course it had other women on the show and it was very popular in The Netherlands. Here is some stuff Ms. SH posted about her. I will tell you something else interesting too, on the Dutch entertainment blog when you read about the show it says out loud and unapologeticly that that “reality” show is scripted. It seems like only Bravo, until recently, wanted us to belive that everything was TRUE!! lol

sd: Cool. Dunno how I missed that.
Is there anything out there that is not on this site? LOL.
I think Muhammed desperately wanted to be on the show, that’s probably why he hosted the engagement party for Pandora and I’ve seen him on the other show about Tehrangeles or some such thing. It’s probably a way of sticking it to BOTH Muhammed and Linda.
Exactly Gold…… however I think they feel they are not rich, famous, recognized, or successful enough……. everybody wants their 15……. however, I think Bravo should recognize that Traylors are up.
That’s very true.
Loving’ the current honeymoon phase with Yolanda! Definitely some fresh perspective on the petty train that has infected RHoBH.
YO ain’t sh*t from nobody.
Ok, it’s official. I’ve decided I love this woman! She’s my new (and really only) favorite housewife.
I totally forgot about David calling Tayliar “Kyle”!! hahahah He had no idea who she was (or the Richard sisters), and although Taliar may know and be a friend of Linda Thompson, they are not besties! I remember Linda was at Brandi’s get together at the beach. After Taliar’s crazed outburst at DeDe, and Kyle’s defending of Tayliar, Linda said something to the effect of – We’re grown civilized women and shouldn’t be acting this way!! hahaha No dinners for Tayliar and HER friend Linda’s house!!
Yo is right in her observations, Vyle is a fence sitter and Paul is acting like a high school girl. Kyle bashing on the caterer and implying he may be a spy was ridiculous!! Like she’s so important HE’S spying on her!! Please, the man works and apparently does an amazing job as he seems to be a favorite of the Malibu elite! Vyle needs to be taken down a notch or two! However, I will give her props for not doing the splits on their dining room table!! Stay Classy Vyle!
i don’t even get how or why traylor made that statement about being besties with david’s ex – i googled it and they filed for divorce in jul 05 and traylor moved to BH in 04. i doubt she hit the ground running and even knew linda thompson until many many years after the divorce. and while david was dating a stunner like yolanda i doubt at the same time he was keeping up with his ex’s girlfriends — weird statement other than to make herself seem more relevant and more ‘in the know’ with BH society?
sorry – point being as to why traylor was so, come on david you don’t know my name, really??? i’m besties with your ex come on you know who i am…. silly boy!
Hahaha She wanted to appear like she knows everyone, and that she’s the creme de la creme of BH, Malibu, CA, the world!! hahaha She’s a legend in her own twisted drunk mind….
oh wait it just connected what you wrote — i had no idea THE linda thomson was the same lady at brandi’s beach party!!!! and was the one talking about being civilized – i wouldn’t have thought from their interactions at that party that she even knew taylor! maybe that’s how they got to be besties?
PLM: Shana was friends with “lyricist” Linda before they were cast for season one of the RHOBH. The key question is how friendly were/are they? Shana gloms on to anything that moves and calls them her “best friend”… her definition of a “friend” may be totally different than that of Linda’s! TFC!! SH
I wonde rif Linda went to Russells service and sang Danny Boy.
ROFLMAO!!
Didn’t Linda Thompson date “Elvis” and was married to Bruce Jenner?
EXACTLY. Just like Adrienne and the “Godmother” fiasco.
@PLM7489: I think Ms. Taylor wants to make herself relievent, period. But she comes across as a desperate housewife of BH
Can’t spell today
adding…why would anyone need to spy on her? she’s on a reality show and hawks herself on any outlet that will book her.
Yolanda proved that she doesn’t suffer fools gladly. (Hear that, SWINE?)
I think SWINES behaviour is funny. She obviously thinks she has made it and she is accepted in the BH click. She slams Brandi because she thinks if she perpetuates Brandi as a low life scum slut it will some how give her more credibility. If she constantly screams “look at that trashy bitch” no one will notice her. Her constant drunken appeances remind me of her demenor when she was filmed out with Kyle in public before the first season aired. She was constantly drunk and smug. She is back for another season and she is feeling on top again so we see smug drunk Shana again but now there is no Russel to cover up for her. I find it repulsive that none of the other housewives condem her obvious drinking problem but will crucify Kim if they even think she may be drinking. I am glad Yolanda brought it up. I am sick of SWINE getting a free pass. Yolanda has no past history with her and does not feel the need to be “careful” with the “fragile” SWINE. I am looking forward to seeing someone, anyone calling Shana out.
p.s. SWINE should quit smiling, all the work she has had done has made her look like a scary hag when she smiles.
ITA! SWINE has to stop smiling and talking and laughing and singing. She IS really repulsive – especially when she drinks. Why don’t the other women call her out? It’s as if she can do no wrong (in their eyes). I just don’t get it.
The only thing that I can figure is that it is all tied up in Russel’s death. Right before he died they were very close to calling her out on her lies. I don’t know if they think they can somehow be considered responsible for what happened or if Bravo decided that this is how they should behave twords her under the circumstances. I think they just don’t want to appear unsympathtic in such a dire situation but Yolanda has no such obligations or history with her so I think she will be the one that calls out SWINE on all the things the others seem afraid to.
I just love her …
Me too!
