KIM RICHARDS: Kim’s BravoBlog… Kim Actually Writes ANOTHER Review! … Likes “Amma” The Hugging “Saint”…

Bravo

Here we are week 3 of RHOBH! Kimberly prom has been so much fun to prepare for! When she was little I dressed her, fed her, and did her hair everyday knowing one day she would do these things for herself. So when Kimberly asked me to help her find her dress  and be a part of this experience I was more than excited

When Kasey arrived I gave my input and then stepped back, allowing Kimberly her time as young lady preparing for prom, while I worked on the chicken salad and things and things and things (Haha).

Kimberly and I really enjoyed each other through this time. We were already close, but this was definitely a bonding experience! The most memorable moment: well of course when my beautiful daughter walked into the room all dressed! That face! That smile! I was speechless! My special name for Kimberly is “Magic Butterfly.” When I look at her, I am sure she has wings. She is an angel.

She had a great time at the prom!  Kimberly called from the limo! (Or did I call) either way she was already having fun! She and all her friend got home around 1 am. The pool was heated. They had fruit, chicken salad, and I baked some goodies. It was a success, but the best part of all was when Kimberly came in, laid down next to me, and gave me a kiss and said “Thank you for making this so special for me. I love you Mommy” I held her arms and whispered, “Thank you God.” It’s moments like that I will never forget. I hope she won’t either!

OMG! So funny watching Kyle and Alexia in the car. It brought back soooo many memories for me as I have taught all four of mine, another bonding experience. Patience was also a number one requirement, as was humor. We laughed a lot as I saw Kyle and Alexia did as well (the best way to get thru those “Oops I hit the curb!” moments). Haha.

It was nice to ride out to Yolanda’s with Paul and Adrienne,  but I could feel right from the get go tensions were high and the night could have been in trouble

I love that every time I saw Kyle she was obsessing over Camille’s  stalking psycho butler! When in reality he’s just the local caterer in Malibu! Got to love my sister! Right? Then there was Lisa, Adrienne, and Paul. While there was no arguing, the tension was apparent throughout the night.

Taylor was talking about Brandi which I don’t think anybody wanted to hear. Let’s not forget the sing-a-long! Taylor, Kyle, and Adrienne all singing “Amazing Grace,” and learning the ways at The Foster house! David’s words are not a stranger to me. Through his music he has been part of my childhood, relationships, breakups, weddings, and births of my children etc. He has been a part of my life long before tonight! When David started playing “Danny Boy,” I could see my Mom standing by the piano singing that song! That was a big memory growing up! (It was her favorite song.) Too bad Taylor wasn’t enjoying it! I think she’s upset because maybe she really does want to make an album!

Note: For those of you who are curious about Amma, The Hugging Saint, she embraces you and fills you love!  Gives a sense of comfort! I had the opportunity to Meet her down by LAX with my sister Kathy a few years ago. It was a very powerful and emotional experience. She gave me a set of beads that when I feel I need extra comforting I will hold. I felt it would be a good day for Kimberly to hold them to give her extra love on her special day!

Till next week! Be safe, I hope you enjoyed!
Xo Kim

About Stoopid Housewives

The Real Housewives franchises have become a guilty pleasure for me and I've become intrigued by 'normal' people who would agree to put their lives on television for public display and scrutiny. What are their motives to divulge their daily routines for viewing audiences to approve, reprimand, berate, castigate, attack; basically abuse and judge? Oh, just forget about the above nonsense... the majority of these people are just stoo-pid.

I really like Kim. I hope she keeps doing well.

  2. pjbottoms says:

“Gotta love my sister. Right?” LOL!

  3. Lisbeth says:

I wish Kim the best too. She still seems off to me. Maybe it’s just the way she is but sometimes on the episode she seemed to have a hard time expressing herself and slurred her words. I hope she’s on the way to recovery but I have to wonder sometimes about the way she behaves and talks.

I totally get why Kim was so emotional about her youngest child growing up. It is an emotional time and redefines your life. An empty nest is a lonely place to be in your life and I hope she finds some productive ways to fill her time. Kim does seem to have a good heart what she says comes from a good place.

    • cleangirl says:

Well said, Lisbeth. I agree. I like her and also maybe her awkwardness in expressing herself is simply because of the cameras. I mean it’s got to be somewhat stressful given everything that went down with her for the world to see.
The whole empty nest thing is around the corner for me too, and I’m not lookin forward to it. I was a stay at home mom and now my chickens are close to leavin the roost! I get her emotional state…

  4. Sandi says:

Yay for Kim taking a shot at her sister for once.

  5. Slaen says:

I loved this blog! It sounds like Kim is doing really well and that makes me glad. I be loving me some Kim.

  6. DeeDee says:

I know everyone talks about Kim seems like she’s on something all the time because of the way she talks, but I think that is always the way she has been, she is very shy and nervous. You would think an actress or former actress would be really forward and confident, but I remember watching some of her teen movies and she was the same way kind of neive and shy.

  7. Lysel says:

I like her. Glad we’re seeing her in a better place. I think she is the kindest of the housewives and truly I wish her nothing but positive things. Glad that Yolanda is understanding her and also understanding her sister. :) Loved Kim’s “Gotta love my sister, right?” comment. Love it!

  8. Annie says:

I like Kim and wish her all the best with her sobriety.

  9. laceys says:

I am hoping that Kim keeps doing well. She needs to quit depending on her sisters financially and emotionally. Its time for her to become independent and live her own life. I am sure that Kathy and Kyle have supported her for years and maybe now she can support herself and be free of the sisters. She seems to be a very good mom and also seems to be having a hard time with the kids getting older. I am hoping that she doesn’t go back to her old vices.

  10. Where Doris Eats Her Oats says:

I hate to say it, but she seems different this episode than she did in the first show. Even her “sit down interviews” seem different. I can’t help but think she’s drinking again – I hope it’s not the case

    • lilmissbindi says:

If she is still taking trazadone and the other pills, that could be why she slurs her words. I take trazadone also to help me sleep with out hot flashes. If she takes it during the day I don’t know how she could stay awake. And the empty nester thingy, some how they always seem to come back, no matter what age.

      • cleangirl says:

“somehow they always seem to come back, no matter what age.” Them’s some comforting words! My two are almost at leavin age and I know it’s gonna kill me. I sure hope you’re right to a degree, lilmiss, I sure love having my boys around!

        • lilmissbindi says:

My youngest is 32 and he has been back with me for 3 yrs. I love having him here. Its just me and him and 2 cats. With the lack of jobs in construction out there, he knows he has a home until he can get back on his feet again and again and again.

      • Hers says:

Not discounting the drug angle, but I think the reason she slurs her words could also have something to do with what she’s done to her face. Her lips are totally misshapen. She looks grotesque. Whenever Kim’s onscreen, I’m totally distracted by her mouth.

  11. dosi says:

I was feeling down watching KIm with her daughter going to the prom, and then facing a empty nest.My son is going to be 16 and i’m getting really down knowing that soon he will be gone to do his gret things in life.he’s my only child.Kim really got to me watching this.

    • Hers says:

I agree that the final shot of Kim looking out the window was sad. I was thinking about her in Nanny and the Professor — as a child star with the world at her feet, but now lonely and reduced to some sort of addiction, with a b*tch of a sister.

  12. Lisbeth says:

I’ve gone through the empty nest and it’s hard. I hope it doesn’t cause her to regress. For all the moms about to have an empty nest…they do come home and it’s wonderful when they do ! In fact, mine is coming home tonight and I’m so excited!!! :) :) :)

In the preview for next week, Brandi is telling Kim that she understands what she’s going through because she’s been there herself. Brandi is such a strong person I hope they make peace because I think Brandi could help Kim become stronger. I’m happy Brandi has had Lisa to help her as a sort of mentor. These women could help one another if they try. Kyle is the worst person to try to help Kim imo. In fact I think Kyle is a huge part of Kim’s problems. Kim most likely supported her entire family with her acting career when she was young and now they should support her imo.

  13. I wish Adrienne would just STFU, she’s a trouble maker. Brandi was talking to Kim and not to her. Hopefully Kim understands what Brandi is saying because I think they would be good for each other.

    • ktgirl says:

That really was bad timing on Adrienne’s part while Brandi and Kim were talking. Geezz..it was so nice to see the two of them genuinely talk to one another. I hate when some of these women have to ruin a “real” moment. Vyle has done that herself where Kim is concerned. I wondered if Adrienne did it because she didn’t want to see Kim and Brandi making amends and getting along. Just stirring up trouble…. I hope Kim and Brandi can patch things up and move past the hurt! I enjoyed Kim’s blog and her quirky comments. She did a good job raising her kids…that says a lot. I still think Vyle stirred up trouble between Brandi and Kim in the first place. I also wonder what Adrienne might of filled Brandi’s head with about Kim, before Brandi and Kim met?

  14. Lysel says:

Adrienne and Camille were the only ladies who were kind to Kim from the beginning. Lisa, Kyle and Taylor were all mean to Kim and used their interviews to down her, repeatedly.

  15. madepiley says:

Poor Kim. I am so glad that that chicken salad was eaten. I felt bad for her laying it all out just for her daughter’s date to come pick her up and they didnt touch it. My momma does stuff like that too. Can always tell if she is fixin to put on the dog cause she always makes a puchbowl full of homemade chicken salad. No matter if its 6 guest or 30. Bless her heart. Its the best ever. Always with fresh croissants. Delish!!! She doesn’t put it together at the dining room table though. So when I saw Kim putting that punch bowl away filled to the brim with chicken salad I had to chuckle. Most of the time teenage boys dont eat chicken salad. That’s why we make the barbequed cocktail weenies for them.

  16. beverlyhillswhatathrill says:

Kim, I love her and feel for her but she is INSANE. What the hell with the chicken salad and calling people “throbs” instead of “heart throbs”? She is so clearly damaged from her upbringing with that cigar-chomping pusher Big Kathy. Kyle is a VYLE nasty bitch I wouldn’t wish on an enemy. “Little” Kathy is full of shit, too. She carries on like a regal woman but she is the OG Kris Jenner.
