The Housewives attend Lisa Pliner’s shoe fashion show where Marysol literally runs away from her problem, drag queen Elaine Lancaster… NOTE: the fashion show took place in real time April 2012.
Sensing a rift in the group after Alexia’s explosive dinner party, Karent tries to make peace with the ladies by co-hosting a dinner party with Miami’s notorious bad boy, Thomas Kramer.

Something seems to really go down at the event at Lisa Pliner’s house on the episode that airs tonight. Give us your side of the story.
I am been friends with Lisa and Donald Pliner for about 19 years, and Lisa wanted me to emcee her shoe show at her Star Island home. But Marysol said to Lisa, “Why are you hiring Elaine? Don’t hire her so you can save money.” Again, getting in my way of work, [which is] promoting my brand and my ability to make money. Of course Marysol’s excuse was, “I was just trying to help Lisa save money.”“Elaine” is my job which I am passionate about and love, but it’s not a hobby. I take it extremely seriously. One doesn’t rise to the heights I’ve gotten to by dumb luck. I’ve worked my ass off and sacrificed a lot on so many levels, and I don’t need petty people trying to get in the way of my work.
Is there hope that you and Marysol will ever be friends?
I don’t ever want to say never, but I have a high prerequisite for “real” friends and she doesn’t meet my standards. I have a very small circle of lifelong friends who are there for me, and I them. A friend is someone who is there in the good and bad times, who tries to diminish pain not exacerbate it.
If Lancaster has risen to such lofty heights, why’s she got such a beef with the fact that someone wasn’t into hiring her for her services? Surely for someone so incredibly accomplished, not being hired would be water off a duck’s back.
Lancaster know she only got 1 minute of airtime last season at Adrianna’s art show and so she is doing everything she can to make sure she is in everything. Also I think Thomas is having sex with Karent and I will tell you why. Karent didn’t even know Thomas until she was invited to that party at his house back on the 2nd or 3rd episode. And then she’s not only on first name basis with him but is having him host a dinner party for her and she is all over him and he with her.
As a gay man who loves me a drag queen, Elaine just doesn’t do it for me. She’s the petty one, and a fire starter desperate for some camera time.

I so agree! I know men who can pull off drag so much better than herself. You wouldn’t know they were male at all. Maybe she needs me to come down and give her a few makeup tips? Here’s one girlfriend……blend,blend,blend! Your blush made you look like a clown in tonights episode….not a woman!

I agree with you… I allways thought that drags were fun to be around. Elain seems the opposite. She is an angry, bitter person that is disrespectful with elderly and pushes a person into a swimming pool during a party. (Among other things)
@daddy My thoughts exactly! Whether he’s himself or Elaine…He’s always stirring the pot & always around the cameras IMO.
I just HATE Elaine. He is so petty and fake. Marysol was suggesting reducing expenses simple as that. I’m sure she would suggest eliminating any MC — or any MC that wasn’t free. In some states, his behavior toward Marysol could be construed as legal assault. If he came at me with the physical difference – height weight etc. I would have feared for my life. Those shoes alone are deadly weapons. Its not about HIM– its about the shoe show. He seems to forget that. If there is too much more of Elaine, I’m not watching RHOM anymore. Yuck Elaine!

Maybe “Elaine’s” shows are entertaining, I don’t know, but his real-life personality is “yuck” and I don’t like him at all. When Marisol said she was leaving, “Elaine” stepped in her way and said: “You’re not leaving”. Similar to what Joanna pulled with Adriana. How is it okay for a (large) man to accost Marisol like that? Joanna was trying to bully Adriana and “Elaine” was trying to bully Marisol!
Lancaster has got to go. I bet he/she is vying for a spot as “friend” of the ‘wives or to be an actual housewife. I did not care for Elaine towering over Marysol. Give it a rest, Elaine!
Lancaster & Armstrong should move to the Honey Boo Boo show. They could run the pageants.

I don’t follow this show..but I do feel bad for Elsa. She was a beautiful woman once.

I understand that Bravo has stretched the meaning of housewife to include single women but I think they should draw the line at being the same Gender. James isn’t bringing much to the show other than a whole lot of noise.
I love that Mama Elsa didn’t know that Elaine was really a man.

I guess I’m the minority here cause I like Elaine. If it is a “normal” thing in Miami to have a female impersonator host a party then they need to show that. If Elaine is someone who is always around on the party scene then it would not portray an accurate picture to cut her out just because she does not fit the mold. Elaine is not featured in the intro and she never does TTC shots so she is obviously not considered a housewife. They never even show her on her own, doing her own things the way they do the other housewifes. I’d rather watch Elaine be fabulous and a little petty while wearing some crazy, amazing outfit than listen to one sylable Rich Wakili or Joe Gorga uttered.
I’m with you, SD. I signed in to say exactly what you’re saying (well probably not the same words) til I saw your post. I’m also in the minority… James/Elaine – neither persona bother me. I like them in fact and it irritates me how much of a snake Marysol is trying to be. Leave the man alone! If she doesn’t want to be confronted in a public place, then stop turning the knife in his back. It’s a small world and gossip ALWAYS gets back to the person
Let me be clear first that I love gay men. But,…..If Elaine plans on portraying that she’s a lady she needs to practice her ‘act’ at acting like one! A lady does not bring up issues that would cause drama at a friends or employers events. Ever. If we are approached we go somewhere private…..as in another room. Not in earshot of other guests. She made a display of herself. A very unpleasant one.
I disdain that: “Get all up in your face” type mentality. James/Elaine has a bully like mentality…period. I personally do not care for Lea either. They both like stirring the pot! While J/E seems quite proud of his part in escalating trouble; Lea pulls the “Who Me” card and acts all innocent. I find Lea quite passive-aggressive and her claim to have a “misunderstood” sense of humor…bullsh**! Lea is NOT funny and she just doesn’t seem to get that. She makes herself into the one thing she claims she can’t deal with….stupid!
I agree that Lea is NOT funny and I don’t think she’s misunderstood, I think she’s disingenuous and shady, and that maniacal laugh of hers is unnerving .
@kt I agree with you about J/E and Lea. In addition J/Es a camera / attention whore and can’t seem to realize his very actions, causing loud disturbances, might just be the real reason he’s not getting or keeping MC jobs. Possibly, Marysol is advising HER CLIENTS to re-consider hiring him. J/E is his own worst enemy. But, that’s what they’re paying her for. If the elect to keep or discharge him it is their call to make. Would love to know how the Pliner’s reacted after J/Es explosion. They had to be embarrassed and he didn’t seem to care he was in their home and employment.
Those kiss-ass men at Thomas’ table showed their true, spineless attitudes. Really changed my opinion of Lisa. Think we saw her true nature exposed on the table and pole scenes. I was very surprised by her attitude at the table then it got worse. Net worth showed Thomas at $95 mil and a great donor and sponsor of charities. Any good friend of Kim Zs gotta be good enough for BRAVO TO RE-cycle.
I wonder if Miss Andy will declare Mama Elsa homophobic for saying on tonight’s episode that Elaine/James disturbs her mentally. Or will she get away with it since she is one of his glorified nutcase “faves” who he so loves to exploit
Am over that Crabby Elaine. I’m fine with him doing his thing on the show, but he is rather centered on being overly self serving IMO. Have yet to see the flip side of it.
In a past post I had said that Thomas was attractive for an older man. I am going to retract that statement and forget it ever crossed my mind! He is disgusting, far from a gentleman, and degraded the women in his statements each time he opened his mouth. No man should scream at a woman in that manner I don’t care who’s home its in! Telling Elsa that she would expire soon was beyond evil!
Now lets pray that James/Elaine gets PMS and cannot go on this trip with the other women because if he does many of us won’t be watching. Whats with that anyway? He isn’t a housewife!
Watching the episode, Kar-Ain’t is nothing but a social climber and wants to be center of attention.
I agree with Anna, I love Mama Elsa and Marisol but Marisol does need to grow a pair and stand her ground. JoHo looked really pretty and was on better behavior.
Marysol should have stood up for herself instead of running away.Elaine kept coming at her and cornering her like some crazy person! That Thomas guy had no right to make fun of Romain’s business and tell Ana to shut up! And then Thomas had the nerve to yell at Elsa who only was trying to stop the drama. I do think Karent is a social climber and may even be having sex with Thomas. And WTF seriously at Lea defending Thomas yelling and disrespecting people! Ana’s right the other ladies:Adrianna,Karent,Lea,and Marysol are just kissing his ass!

Before Thomas yelled at Ana I was enjoying him, I am not the type to get offended by harmless antics like his-his apron and such, But yelling at women to shut up… deal breaker. I wasnt even all that concerned when he made comment to JoHo about her fiance. She clearly got butthurt over it because it was true.(‘member Dana Wilkey yall?) But I have him in the no good category now after his yelling.
I love Thomas. Finally a man in charge. The women were really scared of him.
I record the episodes. So, about Elaine (super bully, needy, desperate, most likely crazy for attention, which I understand, recession, survival, promoting himself, etc). If Marysol mentions something to Lisa Plyner (don’t like those shoes anyway) it is her opinion and she said nothing unpolite about Elaine. However, Elaine physicaly cornered Marysol, raising his voice, using all his 7 feet of bad wig and bad makeup to bully her. There is no other name for that, he even puts Marysol down and tries to belittle her about her looks. Marysol has a stable job and Elaine needs her 15 minutes (more like seconds) on TV. Marysol is gracious, delicate, a little cowardly, but cute and smart. Drives a Porsche on top of that! (I think…) The scene when Elaine arrives looks like he came running from a bus and that is why his makeup was melting and the wig was crooked.
