LeAnn Rimes is continuing with her “TwitterLawsuit” against Kim Smiley, the school teacher with whom a conversation between LeAnn and Kim was recorded.
“This lawsuit alone is both emotionally and financially draining and now I’m faced with the threat of losing the career that I’ve dedicated my life to,” Smiley told RadarOnline.com in an exclusive interview. She also revealed that she has hired a Los Angeles attorney and been granted a 30-day extension.
LeAnn is prepared to not only take down Kim Smiley, but other tweeters who may have been involved!
“The issue of how Rimes came to call Smiley is now becoming central in the suit, with Rimes’ camp collecting information and believing that at least one person, and maybe more, were involved in setting up the star for a nasty call that would be recorded. Those people may be added as defendants.”

Really! Lisa was saying at some point how she was going to get wasted, which is very classy for any adult, much less someone hosting a charity event! I was also wondering if it was her aerola they were blurring because it was so damn high on her breast! Her boobs look pretty plastic and just ugh, I wouldn’t be touting her husband’s surgical abilities, but I guess he gets by. I mean, “look at this house!”

I noticed that, too — and it’s really sad because in Lisa’s case I really do not think it was at all necessary. In my opinion, that woman is gorgeous and what my mother would refer to as “very well preserved” for her age!

I think we all learned a lesson from this episode. When your phone gets wet put it in a bag of rice.
Wonder if it worked?
The rice thing is supposed to work but I’ve never had a waterlogged phone recover by putting it in rice (yes, I’ve lived through this experience one time too many) so…. don’t believe them… it doesn’t work.
My phone fell in the river and was there for almost 10 minutes before I got it out. 24 hours in a bag of rice and it was back to new.
The rice thing absolutely does work. Some phones recover in 24 – 48 hours in rice, some take much longer. My iphone was plunged completely underwater and was there for a minute or two while I was trying to figure out how to get to it. I had to leave it in the rice for 8 or 9 days, but it 100% recovered. 100%.
^ believe it or not, I’ve heard that bag of rice thing before. Have no idea if it works.^ The whole Rimes thing about losing a career? Until she started having these troubles I hadn’t seen (heard) a new song from her in years. ?? Gotta wonder if she realizes this might actually help her. At least her name is back in the papers. I do think there is an addiction to fame there though. Or sumpin’
Maybe I misunderstood what we read up above. To me, It read like the teacher told ROL that she felt she was the one at risk of losing her career, not L.Rimes!? I’m not up on any of this twitter lawsuit involving LeAnn Rimes, so I don’t know what the whole thing is about! A bit curious though?!
LOL I wonder how many takes Tre had to do for the Pearl Brite ad? They don’t even try to hide it. She says one sentence and then, cut, and then she says another line and then cut again. She pronounces “brighten” as br-t’n.
I thought Tre did fine but I was not at all impressed with the script and production quality of the ad.
PearlBrite has actually been around a long time — long before teeth whitening became so mainstream — so “new and innovative” seemed to me to be kind of pushing things. And the reference to whitening “your client’s teeth” as well as increasing “your bottom line” made me wonder who exactly they were trying to sell this to.
Still and all, I certainly never thought I’d see Nutella make a comeback, much less such a successful one, so we shall see! It kind of looks and sounds to me as if PearlBrite is launching a different business model although, if they are to be successful, I do think they do need to up their level of play production-wise!

Don’t knock it before you’ve attempted to do it, voice over work isn’t as easy as it seems. You get in a sound booth or in front of a camera, and you may be there all day. Take my word it isn’t easy and the longer you do it, the drier your mouth becomes and your tongue gets tired. I started my career as an on air journalist but had to do my promos. I don’t know anyone who’s done it the first time and didn’t have to do it over and over again. Your goes up and down at the wrong times. You can practice your diction in front of a mirror to prepare though.
That’s true RahRah. I work in Adverting and have been privy to voice over work as well as full-on TV spot production. It definitely takes more than one go but I agree with RealMafiaGM that the script was horrendous.
About the rice: IT WORKS! Ive had 2 do that a few times! My son dropped my Blackberry in the toilet & I put it in a bag of rice & it absorbed all the water & it worked perfectly. I left it in the bag for 2 days. Ive had to do it a couple other times over the yrs & its an awesome fix-Other fam & friends I know have also done this trick. Anyway, it was so hilarious but after Leann Rimes filed the lawsuit, u talk about a bunch of women backtracking real quick! They tweeted her every day, all day…calling her names &just being classless..After the recorded call was made,they almost blackmailed her (not with $ bt with ruining the way ppl looked @her)They told her she had so long2admit it was her or they’d release it..well,they sent it2every news outlet (online) they could.Ive listened2the recording&its hilarious!Smiley stuttering&stammering &LR cant hardly get a word in. Well, I also listened to the recording and I don’t know how you can say Leann couldn’t get a word in. All I heard was Leann’s swearing and attacking. She was vile.The teacher was only trying to protect herself against a bully. Leann initated that call. Lets not forget that. Leann is a bully. She knows she has more money and can destroy this poor teacher and her family. So is she now going to sue anyone who speaks ill of her? Because that is the precedent she is starting. Shame on Leanne. What a miserable self involved creature. Of course, I will now probably get sued by her also.
CON’T started complaining&saying LR harassed them&they had the tweets 2 prove it….Well, the lawsuit is about an illegal recorded call but they all think if they show the judge that LR harassed some of the BB, then its ok…Its a mess & hilarious 2 watch it play out! Theres tons more 2the story bt 2much2write..I think the lawsuit is stupid but the more the BB tweet&form Facebook private clubs&talk about it EVERY DAY,the worse it looks on them.IK they love Brandi but sheesh! Re: static guard for hair – spray it on your brush first before shaping your hair. Dryer cloths also work -run one wipe gently on top of your ‘do
This girl I worked with would keep dryer sheets at her desk. That way when she came back from her smoke break she would rub one on her hands and clothing to combat the smoke smell without using a spritz of perfume. Nifty idea especially if you work in an office with people who complain about perfumes.

No, just used gum. I am sure non-smokers and especially ex-smokers can still smell it a bit on clothing. Ex smokers can sniff that stuff out like a fart in church.

can you just see the clock ticking on her career, here a powerful and rich woman is suing a working class teacher, destroying her financially in the process and putting her career in jeopardy. Leanne decided to insert herself into a situation that she should have ignored to maintain her dignity and professional reputation. It doesn’t look good to me for a star to be attacking someone who was probably a former fan or she wouldn’t joined Leanne on twitter. I mean it really makes Leanne look stupid, nutty, immature, dumb, hateful, messy, petty and SPOILED. I bet Eddie is looking for his next wife.

The reason her problems seem so unsurprising is that it seems like she really , really needs approval. She’s sent out photos of herself (tweeted I believe) in bathing suits for no reason , just sitting around tweeting ?? & she seems to be copying Eddie’s ex wife. She’s been “scary skinny ” as the press says it. I mean you really have to wonder if she doesn’t have a real self – image problem. I guess being raised in the spotlight (she started singing at a young age), if you end up living as (or off of) a reflection in someone else’s eyes , it’s shouldn’t be a surprise. I wonder if people like that ever really find themselves. ??

I think LeAnn’s main problem is the way she came into Eddie and now in fear he’ll leave her for another women and or run around on her. Like the song sings “Hang on Loosely” (38 Special) she is hanging on so tight she is looseing control of herself. You can rob the bank but can’t wash off the dye and spend the cash! She can’t change Eddie for who he really is!
Re: Leann Rimes This BB has taken it upon themselves to “punish” LR for having an affair with EC. Brandi really doesnt say/tweet anything about it anymore. Smiley (who recorded the call) is “President of the Brandi Bunch”. As Smiley has said, Brandi didnt ask her 2defend her but she (and many others) have taken it upon themselves to criticize, ridicule, harass etc LR about the affair, bathing suits, whatever they can find negative. Now, LR would come right back at’em. She wasnt nice either but she admitted she did wrong & its really no1s business but her, Eddie &Brandi but this bunch is unforgiving. It was a ridiculous call…Smiley really was out of line asking about the affair& accusing LR &of course, defending Brandi. Yes, LR cussed & carried on but she said many, many times she wanted 2 end the call (she should have just hung up) but Smiley kept stuttering, stammering & giggling away. Ive read all the tweets back&forth & now the tweets from just the BB side because LR doesnt tweet them anymore (prob bc of the lawsuit)…Its a bunch of women who got caught up with defending a reality star & took it too far. The call, whether LR initiated it or not, was still recorded illegally. Smiley is a special ed teacher & now that her name is out there & ppl are seeing her mean tweets etc, she very well could lose her job..LR wasnt the only bully. Its ALL really kind of lame…Like Forrest Gump said “Stupid is as Stupid does” They all need 2 move on & yea, have your own opinion, but stay out of other ppl’s business when its not yours.
I was just watching Extra and they showed people in their costumes. They showed Leanne and Eddy for a hot second showing just pretty much Leanne’s hair. I liked how they said they were with Eddie’s kids, not “theirs”.
