OMG, not invited to some fake 3rd year anniversary party for a third rate restaurant, why this must be the social event of the year, this is just so stoopid.
With you on this one, all these show and their couples that do their renewls. Lisa never seems like she is that in to Ken? Vicki and Don re-married in Tortuga and come to find out according to Vicki, Don has a mistress all these years.
AND, supposedly Vicki was already involved with Crooks by that time and was in touch with him all during their commitment vacation.

Haha!! I almost enjoyed the relaxed, laid back atmosphere on WWHL last night. I normally don’t watch it because he’s toxic, but he was almost funny (and seemed sorta lonely) last night so I watched for a bit. I will admit.. the pajamas weren’t an attractive look for him, but they’re not for me either so….
It made me miss my old house that had a fireplace! lol

Hope our Jersey Girls are safe. New Jersey took one heck of a hit last night. Also, don’t know if we have posters on Long Island, in the city or in Conn., but if we do, thinking about and praying for all of you.

I know CJ. I’ve been thinking about our Jersey girls too also Girlfriend and all of our NY folks including AOM. I’ve been watching CNN and I feel for the SH readers devastated by Sandy. It’s cold and it seems power will be out for at least a week. I pray that everyone is safe and that they are hanging in there.

yes power outtages for many, city is shutdown! But it’s the folks by the water I’m concerned for , on long island , and new jersey, they’re in bad shape. 10 deaths in tri state area. Let’s pray for the ones who’ve been hit the hardest

I pray they get assistance very soon. It’s just sooo cold. The Red Cross is out of blood too. They’re asking for more to donate.
We have storms down here and don’t get me wrong they are really bad, I had my roof blown off during Ivan, but it is so densely populated in NYC it has to be a challange. I sincerly hope all of you are well and that your power returns soon. That is one of the worst parts. When I evacuate I always call home every day and when my answering machine answers I know the powers back on and I head home.

Ditto.. horrible!! It was a bit scary.. tonight lightning keeps flashing in the sky… yet i’m not hearing thunder… I’m in MA but my heart goes out to anyone suffering from this storm… it heartbreaking.. really….
Definitely thinking of everyone affected by the frankenstorm. Hope everyone stays warm and safe. I went thru 8 days of loss of power during Hurricane Andrew. Let’s hope everyone is restored to a life of normal soon.

After the way Adrienne attacked Lisa at the reunion last year, making all types of false accusations, I wouldn’t blame Lisa for not inviting her to her party. Adrienne was toxic and why invite someone like that to a special event. Adrienne needs to learn that what goes around comes around.
Except that this is all fake, these women are paid to attend these phony ‘events’.
Adrienne was not that bad. Adrienne is a business woman and when Lisa called her shoes the Maloof Hoof she took it to heart… Was it an over reaction? Yes, absolutely BUT what if Adrienne called Villa Blanca VILLA CACA? I’m pretty sure that Lisa wouldn’t like it.
I feel that between the women there is an unspoken rule to SUPPORT one another’s business ventures and when someone makes a joke about your business than it becomes an issue. Joke or not, Lisa should have not called her shoes “trotters” at the reunion… She was condescending and fake…

Lisa feels very free to dish it out, but is just so offended if anyone responds in a similar manner, why, she’ll even shed fake tears at the reunion or pretend to be a best friend with her former nemesis. I do not care for Lisa, she thinks her sh*t doesn’t stink. For that matter, I really do not much care for any of these women.

I’m safe and the upper east side has power. YEA! But downtown and wall street and long island have been declared a DISASTER by Obama. Good lord. They don’t have power, and are inundated , the worst since we’ve seen in the late 1800s. Everything is shut down, the city that never slept just took a long nap.
The worst was evacuating such a massive and pioneering hospital like NYU, those poor patients. Most deaths are from falling trees.
No transportation within NYC, nor any connecting to us. Subways, buses, tunnels , bridges. Out of order.

I’m VERY PROUD of Lisa.. she’s not going to take the bull she did at that reunion.. and Adrienne… having a chef do talkig head interviews putting down Lisa.. who happens to be my favorite housewive of all of the franchises… it was a disgrace and i lost lots of respect for Adrienne and also the way she treats her husband… the sneak peek episode talked about Adrienne suing some of the housewives.. so Brandy confronts her and she says..No i’m not going to sue… can’t wait for their season.. but UGH i can wait to see Kyle.. i have no idea why she irks me soo.. its terrible.. LOL
Why is Adrienne so “shocked” and embarrassed that she wasn’t invited to Lisa’s event? They don’t even like each other.
She isn’t shocked and she isn’t embarrassed, it’s part of the script. She is actually relieved that she doesn’t have to attend this fake scripted ‘anniversary celebration’.
I agree, and the script is so very obvious now and badly played and embarassing!!!!!!!!! I’m glad I’m not missing out on anything by not watching this season!!

hoof is not a derogatory term like CACA..that is like saying her food at Villa Blanca is like poop, so it is not even the same. I always say..”Let me put my hooves on.”..not even a close comparison. Also the first poster said that Villa Blanca was a 3rd rate restaurant. I have been there twice and the food is wonderful. Decorations are amazing. The wait staff is the best wait staff I have ever had anywhere.,…and yes I have eaten at super nice restaurants my whole life. Their wine is also very good. Pandora’s husband was there both times and was very charming and sweet to all the guests…This restaurant is far from 3rd rate. Before you say anything more, have you been there? Eaten there? I am a Lisa fan, but the restaurant is an independent assessment. Anyone travelling through LA should make a pit stop there. Also very affordable
Yes, and Lisa is smart enough of a SELF-MADE business woman that she joined the show knowing it would increase her revenue. Adrienne, on the other hand, inherited her wealth and from what I have read, much of it has been squandered. I think that is the major difference. With Lisa and Ken, the whole family actually WORKS in their restaurant to make it a success. With Adrienne, her idea of “working” apparently is to attend a basketball game in a city where the fans are miffed with her family or drag some expensive designer shoes out of her huge closet and copy someone else’s design to put her name on.
Depends who says hoof. Its a matter of semantics. Personally i don’t think hooves are particularly ummmmm appealing as say a “sexy high heel”. Do you remember that Lisa said that Adrienne’s shoes were like TROTTERS? So her saying Hooves and Trotters does not sound complimentary or cute to a woman starting a brand. To me it sounds condescending. Lisa is no angel or victim, she knows how to play the social game better.
I have no doubt her restaurant is lovely.I have friends going soon but I think Lisa is a sneaky fox and i have never found her sincere. Her talking heads are the most acted of all and can come across as phoney. She does have good taste 95% of the time except that 5% which was evident when i found out in big letters on the wall that the acronym for SUR was Sexy, Unique, Restaurant. That was as tacky as a pink too tight satin dress. Not subtle at all.

Both Villa Blanca and Sur got many negative reviews.

Yes, but not as much as Lisa’s restaurants have. If you go to yelp, there are many people who have had bad experiences at both Villa Blanca and Sur and a lot of them had similar experiences too. Long waiting for food (almost up to an hour just for the food to get there), bad service (rude, inattentive waiters), average food, etc. Her restaurants have got enough bad reviews for me to never want to go there. I’m sure there are better places to eat in LA anyway.
If you want good food in BH at the same price point, you can’t go wrong with Il Pastaio a few blocks over. Restaurants come and go in BH, but Il Pastaio has been there a long time, and the food is great.

I bet all the negative reviews are friends of Kyle and Adrienne. As I said..I have been their twice. Awesome service, great food, everyone polite and I got my food extremely timely. HAVE YOU BEEN THERE TWICE? Yelp is full of people that never even eat at places and use yelp as a means to hurt a business. PLEASE COMMENT ABOUT LISA’S RESTAURANT, when you have actually had a couple of visits. I drove to Orange County and specifically stopped there the second time because the food and experience was far more pleasing than otehr restaurants I have been to in BH and all over LA.
Can’t totally trust Yelp. Villa Blanca is a good restaurant — tasty food, fine service, very nice atmosphere, gorgeous flowers, prime location. And I gather Lisa/Ken are there quite often, since many of us have seen them eating there.
Wow so everyone at Yelp is a liar? Are you kidding? You are really reaching. Those people have no reason to lie about their experiences. Many of the people who made reviews don’t even know who Lisa Vanderpump is (because at the end of the day, she is still a Reality TV D-list nobody) nor do they care who she is. They simply went there because they thought they were going to a fancy, hip 5-star restaurant. But all they got was bad service and okay tasting food because looks can be deceiving. All of that sounds like the epitome of a 3rd rate restaurant.
And how mature of you to say that just because someone doesn’t like Lisa, then they MUST be friends of Kyle or Adrienne. Anybody who reads my posts already know I can’t stand Kyle, just as much as everyone else here. I have defended Adrienne but that does not make me a “friend” or even a fan really (I don’t know how anyone can be a fan of any RH, but I digress). I don’t particularly care for any of these women, but out of all of them, Adrienne is the most tolerable one for me. If we are playing that game, then I could say that you are probably being paid by Lisa to say good things about Villa Blanca. Grow up.

I don’t think anyone expects Villa Blanca to be a five star restaurant. If that’s what people expect, then no wonder they are disappointed.
