SH “HIT AND RUN” MONDAY Part I: AndyCoop “GotDaBoot”!… Talk Show Looking For Beverly Hills “SuperFans”…

October 29, 2012

“I can’t believe MY talk show was cancelled.  How will I face Andy???”

AndyCoop got da Boot!  If you were a fan of his talk show, get your tickets now for any remaining boring-t0-death shows…

From NYTimes:

Citing disappointing ratings, a studio executive, who insisted on not being identified because the studio had planned no official release on the decision, said on Monday that the entire talk television market has been struggling to build audiences. Mr. Cooper’s show, which is produced by Telepictures, will end after the summer of 2013.

The executive spoke because some of the stations that have been carrying Mr. Cooper’s show have begun making feelers about replacement shows, and the news was certain to leak out through one of them, the executive said.

The studio “could have renewed the show but could not create a viable economic business model to move forward,” the executive said.

NOTE:  If YOU are a SUPER FAN… send SH an email (STOOPIDHOUSEWIVES@GMAIL.COM) … and your information will be forwarded to the talk show rep!

About Stoopid Housewives

The Real Housewives franchises have become a guilty pleasure for me and I've become intrigued by 'normal' people who would agree to put their lives on television for public display and scrutiny. What are their motives to divulge their daily routines for viewing audiences to approve, reprimand, berate, castigate, attack; basically abuse and judge? Oh, just forget about the above nonsense... the majority of these people are just stoo-pid.

I would never admit to watching these shows on national TV.

    • Hers says:

      LOL, we’d look like psychos.

      • kj says:

        No way in hell!

        • Lablover27 says:

Umm, I want my 3 kids to still speak to me. Hellano!

        • romoshedint says:

Have y’all ever tried to talk HWs with a friend? Like in real life… I have and maybe my mistake was we were in a mixed group with some that didn’t watch it. That chick tried to act like she just kinda knew what I was talking about. I told her, “Girl you know you watch every episode!” She started laughing. I mean wth?! I don’t front, sorry. That doesn’t mean I’m going on tv to talk about it. That’s crazy.

          • Hers says:

I had a friend over once. RHONJ came on — a scene between Tre and the other HW — and she said, “I can’t believe people watch this!” I said nothing and turned the channel in shame…

          • KS2ID2TX says:

I talked about the NJHW to a family member……once. NEVER AGAIN! LMAO!

          • Rose Chimera says:

Its my TV, my house I watch what I want! lol…my BF came over one time before a HW show. He watched it. Enthusiastically asking who, what, when, etc. After that he was hooked! He ensured that our evenings (meals) and days were planned accordingly to be able to catch the next episode. If he didn’t like watching the show? He had the option to leave, read a book or go do something outside! lol…he wisely opted to sit on the couch with me and offer commentary about each HW.

        • DebWeb says:

kj… I agree, no way in hell!, Hollar.

    • Annie says:

      Me neither, it’s embarrassing.

    • k says:

      LOL Cyn
I admire you putting your picture up, I wouldn’t even do that.

  2. Aint Pittypat says:

Evil chuckle. Oh this producer needs to contact Closet Freak. I would so watch every single second of that show multiple times.

    • JMCR says:

Okay this is a REAL NEWS MAN ~ I think talking with world leaders is better than talking about Honey BOO BOO child ~ I really must be missing something, Just Saying!

  3. Susan Potts says:

Wouldn’t it be great if they replaced Anderson’s show with a Teresa Giudice talk or cooking show ;)

  4. Shakin My Head says:

I am so glad his gossipy little trashy show bit the dust. I used to have respect for him as a journalist when he was with CNN and would get right in the middle of whatever was going down and report. Remember when he was reporting in Egypt last Jan/Feb. and also in Haiti after their earthquake? He really got in there and did an exemplary job but when he started this talk show stuff he became another Wendy Williams to me. I was so disappointed in him that even if he got back into serious journalism I don’t know if I could take him seriously.

    • lobstahsmaht says:

He still does serious reporting in the evening.

      • laceys says:

Yes he does do the serious reporting in the evening

      • Shakin My Head says:

Oh, my mistake then. I just checked CNN he is now on when my local news is on. Didn’t used to be that way. Thanks for letting me know he is still reporting serious news.l appreciate that. :)

        • Hers says:

But, after seeing how he was so biased against Tre, without knowing the facts, I will never trust Panderson Stupor to report serious news or anything else.

    • Dawn Raine says:

I agree. He is better suited to serious news, I admit though, doing this daytime gossip & info has me respecting him less. Also, his New Years Eve shows with Kathy Griffin had me questioning his priorities already.

    • ktgirl says:

I SO… agree Shakin My Head! Once upon a time…I really liked Anderson Cooper, but then poof..he turned into the white male, gay version of Windy Worthless and became Manderson before our very eyes! Windy, IMO, is just the female, African-American/ black version of Jerry Springer! I’m relieved to hear his show has been cancelled! Hey Anderson…Don’t let the door kick you in the ass…on your way out out!!

      • CJ says:

I wonder how much longer he’ll be with CNN? CNN’s ratings are in the toilet, but Anderson only averages 349,000 viewers. The HW franchises do better than Anderson 360. LOL

      • DebWeb says:

Haaaaaaaaaaahaaaaa, laughing so much I can hardly type Ktgirl. Anderson Cooper has turned into a right winger due to his CNN 360. By by by…

        • kj says:

It seems like i like someone anderson, andy wendy …at first but then they change due to idk ratings? Cant get big celebs cuz they said something offensive? But they stop asking questions we would and kiss butt and ask sugary crap.

  5. Bizzymammabee says:

See why he was such a douche with Tre. He knew his ratings were bad and needed to get them up somehow.

  6. joleeface says:

He shouldn’t have been so mean and rude to Teresa. One by one, all who are unkind to her will fall away like leaves in the wind. Who will be next?

  7. What happened to Ambien lady maybe she will apply. As for me no thanks… :-)

  8. Susie says:

The fact he came out of the closet and teamed up with the other Bravo gay advocate made him not be a serious journalist. He was too much involved in scripted reality T.V.He was too baised against Tre and not reporting fair.Glad he go the boot.Never watched him anyway.

    • SDHS86 says:

Good riddance. Not Anderson’s finest hour. Buh-bye!

    • Debra says:

I agree with Susie. It seemed ridiculous to see him on CNN and 60 Minutes, then on a gossip-y talk show every afternoon. I liked him better just reporting serious news and I REALLY did NOT need to know his sexual preference, thank you…

  9. Flygrltpa says:

Oh puhleeze, as crazy as we get they would cancel RHOBH and pick up Real Crazies from Stoopidhsewives Housewives.

  10. sue says:

Hi Guys, Sorry I’m coming from a little from left field here, but I hope someone can help or at least validate what was just shared with me from (to me and many) a very reliable Nj native, but lives and works in NY friend who cant be named. He says it is very easy for those wanting to get the REAL story that in fact “ON DISPLAY” was originally written for ANY (of course the most visible)of the real Housewives and yes at the time right before Melissa snagged it, this ANTONY (not Anthony, and sorry no last name YET)approached Tre who did not want to venture singing and at the time other Housewives from other cities didnt rush for it, but Missy and I guess Bravo thought that this would add to Melissas storyline since the only other thing she had gone for her and Joe was to fight with Tre….So in fact, Nobody went looking for Melissa the song was written and up for grabs for a price for any housewife who wanted it!!

  11. LoveVegas says:

Viewer parties?!?! Do I look like I want to be sucked into the vortex of hell???

  12. Anita bier says:

Omg I can’t believe it! Oh no!!!! Bwahahaaaaaaaaaa.

  13. Bumb says:

Great news! Now let’s hope Bethenny “I am so different, I am the second comming” Frankel gets the boot too. Her show was a snore fest. I suppose Ellen does pull strings to get big names.
Fingers crossed- Frank’s shows gets the chop

    • Hers says:

Something I’ve tried to teach the kids — you may be right in a situation, but if you’re annoying or disagreeable about it, then no one will like you and YOU may end up the bad guy. To me, that’s Bethenny.

  14. ruth bagwell says:

Kind of ironic that his mom Gloria Vanderbilt could be considered a prototype for the housewives franchise. She was filthy rich from birth, the object of a custody dispute within a family and two sisters, made a name for HERSELF, outside the family by branding herself and successfully created her own empire! I’m dating myself when I say her jeans were what EVERY teenager wanted to wear when I was in highschool. I still love her perfume today. The signature and the swan logo are recognized by my entire generation. She sounds like what Tre is trying to do with her own breand but without the famous name and start up money. It’s a great story that anderson could have used as insight for what some of the housewives are trying to do with their 15 minutes. Instead he was petty and went the gossipy, trashy route with Tre. He should have given Tre the serious journalist and explored where her “empire” was going. Lost opportunity for both of them. The petty grilling helped neither of them. I hope Tre is successful at branding herself right into an empire of her own just like Coops mom. Maybe someday he will be reporting a “serious” story in the business world about Tre’s acumen at marketing a “brand” and the bullying she endured to to make it. That would be just desserts.

  15. Shar says:

OMG..this is to funny! We are all addicted to these STOOPID shows and come here and talk about them BUT are ashamed to admit we watch them…hahahahaha…I’m the same way too.

  16. Lisbeth says:

I love all your comments!! <3
I don't dare discuss my housewives addiction to anyone I know ! :) A couple of weeks ago I was ROFL @ Closet Freak and my husband thought I'd lost my mind. He hates "Reality TV" but loved Closet Freak. It's the only time he hasn't teased me about watching the housewives.

I must confess I'm a closet Big Brother fan since season 1. I watch the live feeds 24/7 and comment on BB forums. My immediate familly knows I'll be obsessed each summer but I don't share this with my friends. My daughter has become a fan so I do have one person to discuss it with, which is nice.

Thinking about SH members having a talk show about the SH makes me LOL. Can you imagine how hilarious that would be? We would have to be allowed to be REAL and HONEST though and that will never happen. It would be a hoot if it did happen….:) 8)

  17. nancyadopt says:

This is absolutely priceless..priceless. I would never admit to one single soul except you guys that I watch these shows. I feel like I need a shower after watching them. I think my son needs to solidify his moral ground before sinking into this degradation. I can’t imagine going on national TV for any of us on this wonderful site and opening up that can of worms for ourselves and our friends and family. :) Love ya’ll

  18. kay says:

Hello. My name is Kay and I watch all of the housewives. TheyI actually validate to me that I truly am sane after all (only jesting is case some of you take this comment too seriously). I They are my guilty excape from realty.

  19. nancyadopt says:

ha ha kay. you actually start that out sounding like you are at an a a meeting. Hello. my name is joe and I am an alcoholic. That is how we feel about them, a terrible habbit that we need therapy to kick. Although if SHAFT is in too many scenes, meaning more than the first 2..pooooof all RHOBH news will be obtained from SH.
