MELISSA GORGA: What the Future Holds For Melissa And Joe Gorga…Lacking Brains And Money… Bravo To The Rescue!!

October 25, 2012  4:25 pm

“You got it all wrong!  I CAN sing… where’s that auto-tune machine?”

Since it has been well-established that Melissa Gorga CANNOT sing, it would behoove her to take advantage of her fellow Housewife … Kandi Burruss’… offer!

Kandi is now casting for the “KandiFactory”… and Kandi could make MeGo a singing superstar!

Besides vocals, Kandi also requires that the person selected can dance!

“TheKandiFactory” will produce a music video and the ability to dance would be a good thing…

If Melissa does NOT make it through Kandi’s selection process and does NOT become a candidate for Kandi to propel into singing superstardom… it would be time for Joe Gorga to submit HIS talents for ANOTHER Bravo show!

If you were not aware, Joe Gorga has downsized a bit.  JoGo no longer describes himself as the “premiere home builder/developer” in New Jersey.

According to JoGo’s website, JoeGorgaConstruction, here are the services which JoGo can provide for you!

  • Custom Pools & Installation
  • Custom Spas & Installation
  • Ponds
  • Waterfalls
  • Hardscape Features
  • Masonry Work
  • Stone Work
  • Custom Patios
  • Outdoor Kitchens
  • Fireplaces
  • Fire Pits
  • Retaining Walls
  • Custom Landscaping Projects
  • Landscape Design
  • Grading
  • Draining
  • Seeding
  • Mulch
  • Landscaping Lighting
  • Sprinkler Systems
  • All Types of Stucco
  • All Types of Tree Work
  • Tree Removal
  • And Much More!

JoGo has taken a huge step backwards… from building custom homes to installing backyard ponds and removing trees!

Time for JoGo to call in Tabatha!!

If JoGo does NOT meet the requirements for Tabatha’s show, it would then be time for JoGo to pull out all the stops and fall back on his career as a Chippendale’s dancer…

JoGo needs to be VERY careful as a dancer!  He’s simply too much for women to resist!

More than likely, his magnetic charms mixed with his “MagicMike” moves will be the cause for da Gorga’s to separate … women with much more to offer than MeGo will have poisoned JoGo’s brain!

BUT, Melissa is a survivor… and will be on the hunt for someone much better than JoGo!

MeGo will enlist he help of yet ANOTHER Bravo show!  MeGo will turn up as one of the “ladies in waiting” to be selected for da Stanker’s show, MillionaireMatchmaker… which is NOW casting!!

Unfortunately, Melissa will NOT make the cut… despite pleas to Lord of the Housewives, MissAndy, to put in a good word with his good friend, da Stanker!

JoGo and MeGo will find that they were meant to be together, but they are lacking funds to support their facade of bein’ big time money people… as stated on FauxReality!

In another installment of As The Gorgas Turn, it appears that when Melissa Gorga announced “We Pay Our Bills” what she really meant to say was “We Pay Our Bills . . . sometimes .  .  . but not lately .  .  . so call me . . . maybe .  .  . baayyybeee”

BUT… all is not doom and gloom for Melissa and Joe!  The gays just LOVE them… as proven by MeGo getting an Odyssey Award (even though there is no mention of her award on their website)!

So, what do the Gorga’s have left to do after they’ve been rejected by all the Bravo shows which are looking for new faces?

Da Gorgas story line has been the gaggingly disgusting “sexual chemistry” between them, so the only thing that da Gorgas could possibly do:

Just do a sex tape and get it over with!!!   BLEEEECH!

About Stoopid Housewives

The Real Housewives franchises have become a guilty pleasure for me and I've become intrigued by 'normal' people who would agree to put their lives on television for public display and scrutiny. What are their motives to divulge their daily routines for viewing audiences to approve, reprimand, berate, castigate, attack; basically abuse and judge? Oh, just forget about the above nonsense... the majority of these people are just stoo-pid.

  1. Bizzymammabee says:

The housing market has been in the crapper for the last several years. Why would anyone want to custom build when they can do like Kandi did and pick up something on a short sale, foreclosure and then dump a lot of money into it. Building from the ground up is unnecessary and ridiculously expensive. I can see why JoGo downgraded the name. At this point he probably can’t secure financing to build. So best to stick with renovations and work on the clients dime from the very beginning.

    • dch60 says:

Well if so many are picking up short sales and then “dump a lot of money into it” then why not offer renovations on existing houses? That would be a booming business and would be the next obvious step for a custom builder in a bad market. Just so you know, there are STILL those that want a custom built house. Doesn’t make sense to take it off your resume altogether.

      • Bizzymammabee says:

He should definitely keep it on there. He is offering renovations. His stuff says that he installs custom pools, spas, retaining walls, etc. I think he is not going the custom built because he was actually not working as a contractor for a buyer/builder. He was buying the property, getting the construction loans and building and then selling. At this point if his credit is shot and the LTV ratio on his home is upside down he has no equity or collateral to guarantee a new loan.

    • From a construction point of view, many people think they can afford the new custom house. Most don’t, they were sold a b.s. tale from the banks. My brother did mortgage’s underwriting, for a very brief time. He couldn’t screw people into buying bigger and better houses that they really couldn’t afford. Massive kick backs from real estate agents, it’s a NOT little secret but no one really seems to care about the fraud. My brother remember when he bought his first house, all the little things you don’t think about, the extra you pay on utilities and all the little upgrades you do for the house, it adds up fast. Anyway, he would try to steer people he helped into houses they actually could afford. Anyway, the thing is custom houses are NOT built any different than an other house. The owners pay someone for prints, and all the upgrades they want, maybe crown modeling in all rooms, ect. As contractors we KNOW this, and you usually know all the other sub-contractors. Many people I know, when they decide to buy a house, will call in favors from other sub contractors, to get those upgrades done either by a few cases of beer or just pay for supplies. Also contractors get a discount if they buy from one or two companies, I used to buy all my electrical supplies from one company, and would get some really good deals. I might be wrong, but I am thinking that’s what the Gorga’s did, and if the old man has been in the construction business, I am sure he called in some favors to help his son. I am wondering if JoGo was just a landscaping contractor and would sub all the other work out. Meaning, that he was the general subbed all but the landscaping. Just kind of sounds funny, if you are a damn good general, you are gonna not only work on building NEW houses, but you are gonna do some remodels too. I don’t know ANY general that just did custom homes, they did ALL. Just sounds fishy to me.

      • Aint Pittypat says:

Very interesting Kim. Joe has lawsuits from subcontractors who worked on the house. IIRC the elevator people have not been paid and 2 maybe 3 more. Not small amounts of money.

        • He has burnt those bridges then, once you get a bad rep, forget it. NO one will want to work for or with you. Especially if you don’t pay, or at least work a deal out. If you work with a bunch of guys for a while, when you are doing your own house, you call them out work a deal out. I did it for my brother when he bought his house. He bought a new one, was a spec house, nothing custom just a new ranch. A contractor I worked with owed me a few favors and he came in and put in crown molding all through the house, for a few cases of beer and some food. I helped him out doing his electrical when he updated his box and kitchen. Had all of it, so I saved him several thou, so knowing how this works. It just don’t sound too good for him. He has either screwed people over, or he has a bad rep. Your rep is everything in construction, one bad customer and you can go under in a matter of months!

    • Stacy says:

Why hire someone like him to build your pool when you could hire a pool company (you know, the people who actually specialize in it)? How stupid–yes, let me hire a middle man like Joe so he can charge me more money than if I went with the actual pool builder.

      • No offence but if he was a general contractor, for say building or adding a room to your house. Most people hire a general, for one, they don’t know how it works. Meaning there is a certain order building takes, such as the electricians come in and rough in before a plumber, if you didn’t know that it could cost you several thousands of dollars and delay your job a few weeks. Trust me, finding good electricians isn’t easy! I have come in and did many jobs where someone didn’t do things correctly. I am not trying to talk down or be a smarty. Most Do it yourself that are experienced enough may not want to spend the money for a general contractor, and that is fine. If you have the time to watch over and constantly call your subs. Just a few days of delay can cost you some big bucks with rental equipment and supplies if not stored correctly. I have seen many couples split building their dream house, and that was with a general contractor.

    • Stacy says:

I don’t know the whole story about Kandi’s real estate holdings, but one thing that seemed to differentiate Kandi from ALL other wives on all the shows is that she seems pretty financially savvy and frugal. Her house was nice, but kind of modest and dated, and when that freak Marlo commented that Kandi should move out of that “old” house, Kandi indicated that it was fully paid for, as opposed to any home Marlo would occupy. Kandi kind of sort of seems to live within her means. Sure, we don’t know if that’s really the case, but we can only go by what’s shown on TV.

      • cns says:

ITA, Kandi is very good with her money. I read elsewhere that Kandi had just bought a huge home on a huge lot (with an indoor pool) that was in foreclosure, so she got at a big discount. Of course, The Wig Kim Z whom just got evicted from her dream house criticized Kandi’s new home implying that it was not good enough because it was foreclosure home. So The Wig has turned her nose up at Kandi’s home because she bought a luxury home on discount instead of full price. Well that’s the difference between those who earn a living using their brain.

        • Bizzymammabee says:

Kim better start taking some budgeting lessons. Kandi owns her stuff outright and didn’t spread her legs to pay for it. Kim may be in love with Kroy now but what happens when his contract runs out. From what I have seen of him he is a simple guy and would love to move back to the mountains and go hunting and all that regular guy stuff. The way she is blowing through money they won’t have a pot to piss in. She funny because her dream house was something that someone else lived in and had customized to their taste. What is the difference between that and the house that Kandi bought. It’s always amazing to me how these low class trashy heffas want to act all new on someone elses dime. If it weren’t for Kim’s friends with benefits paying her way before she married Kroy where would she be? There is no way on a nurses salary she could ever have afforded the lifestyle she wants to live.

    • Annah says:

Don’t fool yourself…. the only reason Joey doesn’t want to build custom homes is because he doesn’t want that type of commitment right now. He wants to be available to go to flea markets and bars with his wife and show off where his poison comes from.

      • Bizzymammabee says:

Joey probably trusts her only as far as he can throw her. That is why he put up the studio in the basement. He knows he has to keep an eye on her. He can still build custom houses. Contractors have people that run their job sites so they can run multiple jobs, they also have tons of subs. So if he has a good team he could actually continue to do both. I really think it has to do with him not being able to get construction loans because his credit is shot and he has no equity to use as collateral from the houses.

  2. pjbottoms says:

I don’t think Melissa would audition—she would probably offer her “talents” as an advisor or something like that. She could be the Weather Barbie Interview Girl. I mean if it was good enough for Seacrest…..?

  3. Hersandra says:

I need a handyman to set some rat traps. JoGo?

  4. Stlrfan8 says:

Who would watch (let alone BUY) their sex tape? Blech!

  5. Hersandra says:

If “the gays” love Melissa, then maybe she can be an opening act for Kathy Griffin?

  6. Bizzymammabee says:

MeHo might want to contact Patti when she needs to trade up.

    • dch60 says:

She’s a bit too old for that. Plus she’s got three kids. I don’t think she’ll be in high demand.

  7. sophia says:

The picture of Kandi is really weird. The dress or whatever it is that she is wearing is extremely odd and it looks as if she is scratching or pointing to an interested person where her special place is, her special Kandi Factory. It truly is a weird photo and can’t really see why she would be pleased with this picture all over the media. so weird!

  8. pjbottoms says:

I would love to see Tabitha take over Joe Gorga Construction!

  9. Susie says:

When Megho leaves Midget after the $$ runs out he will go running back to his family. The marriage will not survive if the $$ is gone.Tre will accept him back without the stripper in the picture.

  10. Hersandra says:

That looks like some kind of animal pelt on Kandi’s head. Are coonskin caps back in?

  11. Meblow and Joblow just leave…. go away…please…. :-)

  12. Barbara says:

Melissa sings better than I do and from what we saw at the reunion, she sings 1,000 times better than does Theresa. Guess I’m not sure why we all want her to fail. I’m in their corner because although they talk too much intimate sex for my liking, I mean who really cares what they do and what kind of parents did they have to encourage this kind of publication of what should be private, I think they are good parents to their kids and I think they are basically nice people who tell the truth. Can not say the same for Tree or Joe. Haven’t you guys ever gone to a concert and listened to “stars” singing and thought, wow, they sounded so much better on my cd or the radio? That is because there are pros who help them with things like mixing and autotuning, etc.. My goodness, Kandi even made Kim sing so our ears didn’t bleed… and Luann.

    • Hersandra says:

Mine bled when Kim and Luann sang.

    • dch60 says:

Nice people? Tell the truth? HAHAHAHA… you’re kidding right?

    • Aint Pittypat says:

Mego can’t sing. MeGo can’t dance. Tell the truth? Uhm..when? Their lies and financial house of cards are collapsing. MeGo needs to go back to Lookers and “bartend”.
Oh and my ears bled when Kim tried to sing just FYI. the difference in Kim and MeGo is Kim knew she couldn’t sing and reeled in the first rich jock that landed near her deck.
MeGo and JoGo are virtually unwatchable especially when Joe calls his daughter a c**kblocker. They are both frauds and need to get the Bravo boot.

    • Annah says:

Melissa sings better than a lot of people…. but not good enough to be a ‘rock star’. Sure there are some crappy singers out there who have made it, but they have something to offer. Melissa is old, for just starting this career, she can’t dance and really brings nothing to the table. She can’t even be original, she has to copy J-Lo or some other famous artist. It is often the originality that takes you places…. Melissa has NONE. It is delusional for her to think that she is going to be the next break out artist.

At a concert, it may not sound the same as your CD but you have to remember these people are singing every night, running around on stage, dancing, screaming to the audience and performing. Not just the night you are there, but almost every night in a different town.

      • Barbara says:

Annah, I love people who reach for the stars. I have to say, though, that I don’t see that Melissa has that “IT” factor. Mean as it sounds to say, she seems like a wannabe, imitating what she sees on MTV. Maybe if she developed her very own unique style, maybe…. But I still say she isn’t imitating her SIL. Didn’t someone say she should open for Kathy Griffen (sp?)? Not a bad idea, really.

        • Aint Pittypat says:

Afternoon ladies! If MeGo is can’t pull a crowd at Six Flags and is already reduced to trying to sell her cds at Flea Markets I think we can assume her music career isn’t going anywhere but the toilet.

  13. Candy says:

when will people learn that StoopidHouswives is an equal opportunity housewife basher! Stoopidhousewives is in no one’s corner!

  14. A Brooklyn Italian says:

A little off topic, but I saw the pictures of the Whorgas in their Halloween costumes on another blog – interestingly they are posing OUTSIDE the love shack on the front steps. Just seemed weird to me that they wouldn’t be inside, with plenty of holiday decorations all set up for the kids. BTW, the kids are adorable. If they are not living in the house, that may be why they didn’t pose inside. I just thought it strange considering the lack of material on the Megho’s costume and the cool and cloudy weather we are having here in the Northeast. I think they DEFINITELY need Tabatha!

    • Bizzymammabee says:

Maybe the furniture they rented to stage the mcmansion had to go back. Can’t see why they wouldn’t pose in the house.

      • pjbottoms says:

If they haven’t sold it yet, they should enjoy it while they can:) I think that house is more like a Little Brownstone…they just spend the night there and throw parties.

  15. maybeitsyou says:

Seriously , if you had no one to watch but her, would you not be sound asleep mid-way through the show? I hate to keep saying this but , her story is a waste of airtime i/m/o. She’s not angry or bitter enough to laugh at (Carowhine) not a sadsack who may be in legal trouble (Jax) & she may have a creepy husband but that doesn’t make KomaK interesting why would it help her story? I don’t get why they’re keeping her & Koma. Maybe the wrongfuly assume the ratings spike was a direct result of these two stories?? But I think most of the additional viewers were there to see Caro have her 19th breakdown . Who knows maybe some are weeping for what Jax has become? But not Mego & Koma , snooze time.

    • Aint Pittypat says:

ITA maybe. MeGo is just boring.Yawn. She doesn’t have a career and let’s stop pretending about the singing. I have heard cats in heat sound better than MeHohoho.
She isn’t intelligent, or witty, or quick. The clothes she wears aren’t anything special. The faux barbie dream house? Please tacky and over embellished, a complete mish-mosh of style. basically MeGo has zero charisma and watching her clinging to her delusions of Tre is like Linus with his blanky.

      • Barbara says:

I remember Tre yelling at Danielle something like “I went to college, did you?”. This must’ve been in response to Danielle calling her inarticulate or stupid. We know that Melissa at the very least graduated from college and taught ele school. What degree did Tre earn? Seriously, I don’t have a clue and I know it can’t be fashion or decorating (neither of them would ever earn those degrees). If they are liars and frauds, what are Joe and Theresa in your view? For all I know, they could all be actors. Some of these HWs are kind of boring, I mean don’t screw around in vineyards in plain view, don’t tweet like they’re higher than high, but I will say if anyone came and chose the women living on my street for a show you’d be in for an insomnia cure (I include myself in that).

        • Teresa is a graduate of Berkeley College where she earned a degree in Fashion Marketing and Management.

          • Barbara says:

Really? And yet she wears, well, what we’ve seen her in… I’m talking that awful sequined ill-fitting dress at the posh show and the green, push up my fake boobs, dress at the reunion? I guess everyone has their own style… I don’t like any of their styles on this show.

            • lisa the Irish Dragon says:

I wish Tre would wear more of the clothes we see her in for her book signings On the show.(and the make up to)
When she wears some of those dresses she looks like a aging vegas show girl…Not a Good sight.

              • Barbara says:

I saw the episode where Theresa had no make-up on, was waiting to get made-up for the fashion show. It surprised me that she looked so young, fresh and almost pretty without all that old lady, drag queen crap on her face!

              • Aint Pittypat says:

Lisa , I’m still obsessed with Teresa’s plaid coat. I would love to rock leggings and boots like she does but I am so tall I feel clumsy in boots.

              • lisa the Irish Dragon says:

                That was a nice coat,

              • mc says:

Aint- boots look best on TALL people. Go out and get yourself some boots!

              • Aint Pittypat says:

I have about 6 pairs. I finally found the perfect pair of riding boots and jeggings. It’s finally cold enough to wear them and hope I can pull it off. I’m thinking the right jewelry to balance the boots. Terersa looks very chic in hers because she is tiny.

        • Barbara: Tree received a degree from a 2-year trade school… where credits cannot be transferred to an accredited 4-year college… in Fashion Merchandising and was as assistant buyer for Macys. Hardly a “college degree”… TFC!! SH

          • Nikki says:

finishing a 2-year college trade doesn’t not give you a “degree”. At most it gives you a DIPLOMA.

            • Nikki: A little tardy to the party for this post. We been all done talkin’ bout MeGo and her edjamacation. Just for your information, a Masters Degree can be done in a year. You can now get lost … again. SH

            • Aint Pittypat says:

Actually it’s called an associates degree and was recognized as a two year degree. Associates Degrees were usually the province of community colleges. Years ago a nurse could obtain her RN from an institution a two year program at a specialty or vocational college. These institutions were quite popular in the 70s as a quicker route to gainful employment. Fashion merchandising, fashion advertising and even dental assistants back in the day received Associates degrees.

        • JerseyG says:

We don’t know she taught after she graduated. It actually seems more like she didn’t.

          • amanda says:

she didn’t. she admits she never “actually got the job” because she was “already engaged by the time she graduated.” apparently, engaged people don’t work. when she said she was a “2nd grade teacher” during the time of the alleged strippergate, she wasn’t actually. the timeline doesn’t make sense. she was attending college during this time. she only was a student teacher for 2 weeks, came home crying to Joe saying she couldn’t handle it. he said not to worry about it, just to graduate and she could “be his secretary.” he promised her the “pretty woman life” (HIS WORDS) ……. you know what happened in pretty woman right??????

        • gessiewtf says:

Melissa got the rug burn degree, and she never taught a day of school except as perhaps part of a curriculum requirement and never without supervision. No doubt, she was dumber thank second grader and felt intimidated. And you are right, she doesn’t screw around in vineyards, just public urinals.

        • lalagirlala says:

Meho did not teach elementary school. She was a TA for 1 day. Then she went to work as Joeho’s secretary

        • Melissa never taught school. She was not interested after student teaching and went to work for the midge instead.

  16. Aint Pittypat says:

I have to take issue with the MeGo and JoGo parenting. Why would anyone in their right mind allow their small children at an adult party in full view of adults slobbering and groping each other in the hot tub. The drunken frat boy antics by a bunch of middle aged Jersey Shore trash wannabes.
We pay our bills? Really? Well obviously they don’t. It is about to get really real for the Horgas.

    • Barbara says:

That IS pretty gross!! I did not see that episode. All of them need to learn what is appropriate and what is not…, where, when and in front of others and kids.

    • Lisbeth says:

Aint Pittypat, as usual I agree with everything you said. :) Good parents don’t allow their children to be at drunken parties/orgies. Didn’t he knock his daughter in the pool that night and almost drown her too iirc?

I’ve never seen Melissa show any affection to those children either. They seem to basically ignore their children from what I’ve observed. With him it’s all about Tarzan and Poison. . . typical “little man complex” if I’ve ever seen one. With her it’s all about her fabulous fauxcareer.

I can’t believe she actually called herself an “artist”. lololololololol The fact that the gays love her will open some doors for her, though. They’re pretty loyal to the entertainers they like. She may be able to extend her 15 minutes that way but that’s all I can imagine her doing. I read today that she’s only made $33,000.00 from all her songs which doesn’t even pay for the studio Joe built for her, much less the payments to the people who recorded her, coached her, musicians, autotune experts, dance lessons, wardrobe, makeup etc. etc. Yep! She’s a real “artist” alright. *rolleyes* What she is is a joke and so is her husband.

When I see them in action and listen to them all I can think is “DUMB AND DUMBER.”

      • Barbara says:

And you don’t think “Dumb and Dumber” when Joe and Tre speak? Ouch! Caroline, Jac, Chris, the Manzo “kids” and Dina have their problems, but they seem to be articulate. BTW, as a breast cancer survivor, it TOTALLY PISSES ME OFF if it turns out to be true and Jac and Chris ripped off the SGKomen people. Does anyone know if that has been determined, the truth of the matter, yet?

        • Lisbeth says:

Barbara, it’s documented. I believe it’s in the court papers filed against the Laurita’s. I’ve seen the documentation. I think it’s here and on at least one other site.

          • Lisbeth says:

Wanted to add it’s on the Faux Reality site. I read it yesterday. I, too am pissed that they would steal money from SGKomen or any other charity, but that one is near and dear to my heart after losing my grandmother and mother-in-law recently to breast cancer.

Congratulations for being a survivor Barbara!

            • Barbara says:

Thanks for the congrats. I was diagnosed very young, no family history, survived without incident since. But this is one deadly disease, as you know so well, and a cure needs to be found yesterday. Nobody is safe. Jac could find out tomorrow that she has it… then what? (BTW, I’m not wishing it on her or anyone). Just to be clear.

            • Aint Pittypat says:

I am so sorry for your loss Lisbeth. Congrats Barbara on being a survivor. The bankruptcy docs can be found online at the federal court website. The Wall Street Journal online has an excellent article about the Signature Apparel Bankruptcy. The Susan G Komen is listed as an outstanding creditor in the court filings.

          • Barbara says:

I am not a NJ lawyer, but I can tell you that here in VA allegations can be in made in “court documents” that are untrue. Tell you what, when it is proven that the Laurita family is guilty of this kind of fraud, they might as well hide themselves away because there is little lower than ripping off a charity in civil law.

            • love nj says:

Barbara: There is a claim put in the bankruptcy suit by the Susan G. Komen foundation. If it was not genuine, the Lauritas’ attorneys would make a filing disputing the claim. No filings have been made by the Lauritas’ attorneys that any of the claims filed by entities in the Signature Apparel are false. If the Komen claims was false, attorneys for the Komen foundation would have to withdraw it. Didn’t happen. This is a very ugly fraud perpetuated by 5 Lauritas – 3 are Caroline’s “blood” brothers and 2 are sisters’-in-law. Sad.

              • From what I’ve read they raised $17,000 for Autisum Speaks at the Sparkling Event.

              • HokeyPokey says:

I for one would like to see the financials/paperwork on that event – it was held @ The Brownstone which we all know is “in the family”; the “Sparkling Event” is owned & run by more “family” I believe one of Caroline’s sisters & her daughter which w/be Caroline’s niece/Jac’s niece and in photos of the event published by a local newspaper, you can see bottles of BLK on every table…. several of the items/baskets to bid on contained even more “family” merchandise/products, homemade jewelry etc… SOoooo what I want to know: did the Brownstone DONATE the use of their facility for the evening? How ’bout the food? Beverages? I’m sure the bottles of BLK were “free” but hey, another way for them to have a captive audience to try their product & promote their “brand”? How about the “Sparkling Event” – did they receive a fee? Did the other “family” members get $$ for their wares? I sincerely hope the answer to all of the above is YES – they donated EVERYTHING 100%. That would be great! I really hope that 100% of the money raised went to the charity. I gotta say though, just seeing all those tables w/the bottle of that black water on them made me a little sick. If you are doing something for charity, focus on that & that alone. To try & squeeze in a little “exposure” for your product; a little self-promotion too leaves me with an icky feeling. Seriously – I have organized fundraisers & golf events for Autism awareness & all my goods & services & time I gave working & organizing the events were 100% free and the same goes for all of the other parents that have volunteered with me over the years, with absolutely NO cross-promotion of our personal businesses!! That’s the truth! : )

              • Any affair that I have run over the years has been free along with the other people helping all gifts were solicited any tickets that were sold for raffles etc. had the licence through the state and we had a full audit report done for the state. Mostly everything we had we didn’t have to pay for except for a nominal fee for some things. Remember they scammed the $18,000 out of the SK Foundation. I hope this isn’t so with Autism Speaks.

              • HokeyPokey says:

Exactly Barb! I sincerely hope Autism Speaks (or any other charity) takes a much closer look at this family before getting involved with them again. It’s not just about the $$$ they may lose, it can damage a charity’s reputation beyond repair!! : (

              • The Komen Foundation isn’t all that they are cracked up to be. They have massive overhead and they spend a lot on ads. Do you know what that 17K was for? Was it a donated money, or was donation for clothing or a venue? Until the case is over, anyone can claim they are owed money. It is up to the judge, and from personal experience when a company files bankruptcy they can round up any number. It stinks when it happens to you, but you move on. I had a trucking company file bankruptcy so they wouldn’t have to pay me. I have had people file bankruptcy and not pay me from work I did for them. It would come down to this, do I just write it off, or go to court and try and get some of the money that is owed to me. If I had jobs, then nope unless it was really big, and I was mostly a one or two person shop, so nope, not worth losing more business going after anything under 15k. If you don’t show up and fight it, then your claim is discharged. It’s a crap shoot, even if you do show up, the judge might say, they are losing the house anyway. Your just out of luck, better pick a better client and yes I have had a judge tell me that, too!

              • Barbara says:

Wow! Nothing has been filed by the Laurita attorney? I wonder what their strategy is. We shall see, I suppose. I’m aware that the SGK foundation was under attack because it opposed Planned Parenthood in some way that made news. Still and even if that is true, if a company owned by Jac and Chris (or by either one of them) is judged to be guilty of fraud in connection with SGK, at least in my view they have no further credibility about anything EVER!

            • Stacy says:

I’m in VA as well, and I’ve seen up close and personal what a sham our justice system can be. Totally agree with you, and it’s probably not that different in other states.

          • I don’t think it would have been documented but they stole $18,000 from the Susan Korman Foundation….. AREN’T THEY SUCH UPSTANDING CITIZENS…. and people talk about Teresa.

      • Aint Pittypat says:

ITA Lisbeth. If Joey and MeGo want to be filmed acting in an intimate matter then do it away from the kids. It is embarrassing and uncomfortable watching them grope each other in the presence of children. IIRC Antonia barely missed being landed on by Ritchie when Joey threw him in the pool. Dangerous to rough house with drunken adults add children and definitely a recipe for drowning or disaster.
I have read varying accounts of how much MeGo has made. If they are in financial trouble why pursue a music career if your best gig is a at a Flea Market. maybe she needs to dust off that teaching degree and get a real job.

        • lisa the Irish Dragon says:

I agree there, a college degree dosnt go away and are not most states short of teachers?

          • Aint Pittypat says:

I’m not sure what the situation is in NJ ,Lisa. I hesitate to say. MeGo may have her degree but may not be certified but that is easily remedied . Even if she needed a refresher course you can usually take a prep course online. It pays well, better than her current career and she could provide insurance as well as build her retirement fund. I always enjoyed having summers off to spend with my girls and to work on the coming years curriculum. Teaching may not pay as well as some professions but it was always very rewarding. I always felt if I worked really hard and did my job that I could make a difference in a child’s life and perhaps their future.

            • lisa the Irish Dragon says:

I still remember my favorite teacher in High school I didnt get good grades in his classes But I sure did enjoy them.

              • Aint Pittypat says:

I still remember my first grade teacher. She was so delighted when I learned to read and gave me a brand new hard cover book as a reward. As a teacher you never know who you will connect with or what kind of lasting impact you might have. I bet your teacher would love hearing that you enjoyed his class.

              • lisa the Irish Dragon says:

Funny you mention that, A few yrs ago our Alumni site
Published all the teachers email addy, at the time he was still the football coach so I emailed him and told him how I felt, He was a popular teacher (his wife to) they didnt have kids because both where Jewish and carried the Tay-Sach gene They put that Parenting instinct into their teaching Both were good teachers.

              • Aint Pittypat says:

You are so sweet Lisa what a wonderful thing to do. Your teacher and his wife chose to have many children even if they were only theirs for a little while.

            • Lisbeth says:

Teaching is a wonderful profession! For me, it was what I’d always wanted to do plus, as Aint Pittypat said, it’s great for moms. You get to be home with your own children part of the summer and most holidays so it was perfect for me. Teacher salaries and benefits are also much better now than they were when I first started but most teachers do it because they love it, not for the money. lol It still doesn’t pay as well as most professions, unfortunately.

I get the impression that Melissa didn’t pass what we call her exit exam or get her teaching certification. I read once a quote of hers that said she can’t teach. She would have to go back to college and pass the exits, do student teaching and get her teaching certificate. I’m not sure anyone would hire her now though after the spectacle she’s made of herself on national TV. Teachers are expected to have good morals and values and be good role models for students. I guess it depends on the school district.

ITA that it’s the most rewarding profession you can imagine. I’ve remained in contact with so many of my students through the years. It’s amazing the influence you can have on a child’s life as a teacher.

          • gessiewtf says:

She would have to back to school for another year and come in with a masters degree, I think. Somehow I don’t see her in graduate school.

            • Nikki says:

masters degree is 2 years, not one, and watching that poor trainwreck of a woman does not give me any hope for her furthering her education. I am surprised she even graduated with a Bachelor’s degree

      • cns says:

I thought the back to school scenes with both the Gorgas and Giudices were endearing.

        • Barbara says:

I loved seeing the kids all excited and getting off to their first day of school. All those kids are just precious, and can in no way be blamed for whatever the perceived sins of their parents. I think both sets of parents seemed sincerely happy and in proud-parent-mode, too. Even Joe Guidice, and usually he seems to me a great lump of nothing, was sweet when he was talking to the girls.

The Kandi Factory does say that raw talent is required. That leaves Melissa out.

  18. DannyMac says:

FWIW Joe Gorga’s construction company isn’t on Yelp or Angie’s List… which you kind of need to do these days to get business…

    • Bizzymammabee says:

Wonder if his license is clean. In NYC you can easily check on a company and see if there are any claims against their NYC contractor license at the nyc.gov site. Is there any such thing in NJ?

      • Most states require a contractors lic. and bonding. Bonding depends on the state and what the min. amount you are allowed to have. I would get the highest I could afford, just takes one mistake and your in major trouble. I knew a guy that started out the same time as me, instead of going into apprenticeship, like I did or working with an older contractor for a few years. He thought he knew it all, the state I live in plumbers do not need a lic and no bonding at the time, this was close to 20 years ago. Anyway, he was working on a house dry fitted the house and started to soldier the pipes and finishing the rough in, forgot he just dry fitted an upstairs bath room and the kitchen. He turned the water on and the pipes just blew, he had several hundred thousand in damage he had to pay. No bonding, and couldn’t get bonded afterwards, no one really wanted to hire him after that, no contractors, NO ONE. It was always stressed to us, the only thing you have in construction is your rep., once it’s gone forget it, find a different career.

Interesting Joey Marco has changed his business model. I saw on the Whorga site last night an article and documents where they had re-mortgaged their mansion again. This was last couple of weeks in Oct. They took out a half million dollar equity loan bringing their mortgage up to $301 million I think it was. An interesting read after having recently read the articles and documents concerning their finances on Faux Reality site. It’s really confusing what they’re up to with that house, its equity and its sale. Kind of reeks of desperation for cash since they have several suits for non-payment of debts. Then just last week or so having a very expensive new sports car being delivered. Think it was a Lamborghini (sp).

I know Andy will be probably be excited to know that JoeGo is officially now working on “Ponds” in “back yards” after making an ass of himself gleefully antagonizing Sonja about the pirate playing around in hers. His question was disgusting for even bringing it up. Trust me I’m not a prude just some things need to remain off-air. (Princesses Carol & Mandy)

Too many really fun themes in this article & photos to make other comments on them now, but do have some thoughts. Lol

    • Barbara says:

I agree with you totally about Andy’s remark to Sonja. What a strange and dorky little guy he is! Guess that’s why they love him at Bravo, because he knows no boundaries (except when it comes to insulting gay people).

      • Lisbeth says:

Gah!! I hate Andy’s comments about “swimming in the Lady Pond” etc. He gets so pissed when anyone even vaguely suggests an anti-gay comment but he’s obsessed with insulting women on a regular basis. He’s a nasty, mean, ugly little man imo.

        • T C says:

@Barbara & @ Lisbeth I couldn’t agree more with both of you. I’ve been following Tweets for several months and Andy posted one this afternoon on .GIFS those moveable little bits of a scene. He has one of himself that in my opinion show the real Andy Cohen. He acts like a 14 year old sexually excitable, morose, disgusting fool. Don’t know how to do the Tweet posts yet made my first replies this week. I’ll try to copy/paste Tweet link below hope it works. Arrow down to title “What Andy Thinks or Says.” There he is in all his immature silliness pretending to be a polished, matureTV Executive and gay Talk Show Host.

Those “lady pond” questions always bug me, too. He seems to be fixated on homosexuality.

        • pjbottoms says:

ITA! I never hear him ask a gay man if he has been spray painting in the man-cave. And I’ve never heard him ask a hetero man if he’s been swimming in the Lady Pond.

    • SDHS86 says:

Makes you wonder if these 2 are SO silly (as to think)…that a couple of new cars will cause people to NOT think they are in financial straights?! Yikes.

  20. T C says:

****error**** that is $3.1 million not $301 million. Sorry.

  21. GuiltyOfWatchingHousewives says:

So Joe Gorga is a LANDSCAPER, not a “Real estate developer”. Nothing wrong with that, and some of them can make a very decent living in good times, but I really think that’s about all he’s ever been, a landscaper.

  22. pjbottoms says:

I’m too chicken to call the company number…

  23. me only says:

Is it time to move on from these losers yet? Please…pretty please.

    • me only says:

Just one last thing (lol…I know, I know) Has it dawned on anyone that maybe JoGo has “closed” his construction company because there’s an impending bankruptcy on the horizon? Always a good idea to form a new company before you dump the old one.

      • Hersandra says:

Yeah, and be sure to transfer your computers and other assets over to the new company first.

        • Your lic follows you no matter how many different companies you start up. If your lic isn’t any good or bonding has lapsed forget it, most states really frown on that and will fine you and possibly throw your butt in jail and be blackballed. That’s what the lic used to state, what the max fine and up to x amount of jail time. Without a lic you wont get bonded, without bonding forget it. Find a different career because the only thing you will do in the trades is favors. No one will hire you without either, small places may let you use their bonding, depends on the contractor. Without a valid lic, don’t bother, one of the main reasons I kept my lic up until my hips went south was that my bonding payments where pretty cheap, no claims. I kept my lic up until my husband told me to forget it, couldn’t do the work and really didn’t want to throw a few thousand to keep a lic I couldn’t use anymore. Hardest thing I had to let go.

          • pjbottoms says:

Thank you for sharing your experience and knowledge Kimberly! Sorry that you cannot work like you used to but you have a wealth of wisdom to share with a public who really needs it! I do have have a question about the housewives: at the season 3 reunion Teresa told Melissa that her Joe helped Joe Gorga get started in the business by giving him “tips,” Is tips a construction term or just it just mean advice?

            • Bizzymammabee says:

PJ I think when she referenced tips she probably meant he shared his inside experience on how the business runs, how to get financing and probably how to flip the houses so they can make a profit.

              • pjbottoms says:

Yeah and I remember that comment really bothered Melissa because Melissa responded quite sarcastically that yes Teresa we owe All our success to Joe Gudice!

              • Bizzymammabee says:

Odds are they do. That whole buy and flip takes some skill and insider knowledge. A lot of these flippers tend to build relationships with shady mortgage brokers and realtors. That way they get insider information on houses that may go up for cheap as well as having someone to push through paperwork for mortgages while only glimpsing at paperwork. I am sure if Joey was in the trash then landscaping business he needed connections with subcontractors and supply places. So I can totally see Juicy giving him some of his contacts and knowledge so he could start making money. Didn’t Tre and Juicy also give him some seed money.

      • Not always, but it could mean the work wasn’t there or he could no longer afford the lic. fee or pay his bonding. When you work on custom homes bonding is pretty high, trust me, you normally have to carry over a million or more. When it’s booming those payments aren’t a big deal but the real estate market isn’t gonna heat up for a few more years so, those large payments hurt. From my own experience, when the state needs money your lic fees go up. When I first finished my apprenticeship, the final exam is the states contractors lic., for the state I live in and it been close to 20 years. Once I passed the final exam, I didn’t have to take it for a decade or so, changed the law to taking the exam every so many years. Also hiked the lic fee to a few thousand, anyway, when I was union the union paid my fees and bonding. After the accident and the union wouldn’t let me work because the doc wouldn’t clear me to work, I went on my own. So, I was lucky I just had to take over my lic fee’s and the monthly bonding payments. When I started working on custom homes I had to get the most I could possible afford. I did because of stories I heard from what can happen. So, while I am no fan of the Gorgas, just because he is just doing landscaping, don’t mean right off he is going under. He just might not be able to afford the insurance payments for his bonding or his lic fee for general contractor, due to the work not being there. In my state, for instance, you have a general contractors lic., you have your electrical lic, and so on. Bond is sort of the same, you have to have bonding for each lic you carry. You can easily write checks in the tens of thousands if you are the general contractor and electrical contractor EACH month. This is usually massive jobs, and not building a few custom homes. This more like Industrial jobs, or building whole sub divisions.

        • CJ says:

Kimberly, were you licensed in NJ? Every state is different, but in most states, if you’ve had problems with construction liens as JoGo did, they will pull your license.

You mentioned an apprenticeship. Did you apprentice as a carpenter? Just found it fascinating as not many women complete trade apprenticeships. Always like to see women in what had been traditionally “men’s” work.
