LAUREN MANZO, GREG BENNETT: What Does That Black Stuff Do???

LapBandLauren and BigGayGreggy explains!

NOTE:  Could there possibly be even MORE uses for this darkly-colored water?  Certainly the very imaginative readers here at SH can let LapBand and BGG know… they could keep the t-shirt business goin’ for years!

About Stoopid Housewives

The Real Housewives franchises have become a guilty pleasure for me and I've become intrigued by 'normal' people who would agree to put their lives on television for public display and scrutiny. What are their motives to divulge their daily routines for viewing audiences to approve, reprimand, berate, castigate, attack; basically abuse and judge? Oh, just forget about the above nonsense... the majority of these people are just stoo-pid.

  1. Bravho says:

    Interesting marketing concept….
ps: did Lauren get her breasts done?

    • Bizzymammabee says:

Wouldn’t surprise me if she had a bit of a tuck and lift. Before they were sitting on her hips.

    • Hoosha says:

I noticed that too. Hmmm. I have to admit she does look great! I never noticed that she has a such a pretty face. Maybe it’s because she rarely smiles on camera; she is always so grumpy. Now that she’s looking great, I wonder is she is still with Vito???

      • Hersandra says:

She really does have a pretty face. Hope Vito ran for the hills, for his own sake.

        • Hoosha says:

Oh my gosh; imagine having Caroline as your mother-in-law! She seems like she would be too involved in their marriage. Although, I feel like she will be much more invovled in her sons’ lives than with Lauren.

  2. Vengeful-Val says:

I read some blog where they called BLK water “Bong Water”. lol

Countdown to the Lauren interview in which she states that she’s “always been tiny.”

  3. forblogs says:

And don’t forget that a marijuana farmer said BLK water is a great fertilizer for his crops. It IS an adulterated fertilizer.

  4. maybeitsyou says:

It looks like someone discovered the Spanx (or whatever it’s called). You know they go under clothes & make the wearer look thiner. Why start wearing them after you’ve had lapband?

    • Bizzymammabee says:

Probably because even though she got the lapband she still needs to tone up and help hold some of the flabby skin together. She is probably also putting the weight back on, especially if she is still drinking like a fish and hasn’t learned any new and healthier eating habits.

      • lisa the Irish Dragon says:

Wow why is so hard to admit she has lost weight and looks great.

        • Bizzymammabee says:

Lisa she does look good. She is a beautiful young lady when she let’s her self be happy and kind. I wasn’t knocking her. I have a friend that had the lapband and the reality of it was that he did have extra skin and and flab. He had to work hard to tone up.

          • Aint Pittypat says:

My hubs office manger just had it. Alcohol is verboten. Empty calories. Please we can all recite this chapter and verse. Lauren took the easy way out. that’s my opinion and I’m sticking to it, especially since she wants folks to pay 15$ to go on a pub crawl with her.

            • Aint Pittypat says:

Also alcohol and xanax are a very dangerous combination. Lauren twitters frequently about her consumption of both.

              • Bizzymammabee says:

@ Aint…can Xanax work as an appetite suppressant? I have never taken any of these meds but I know everything has some sort of alter effect on the human body.

              • Aint Pittypat says:

Actually it depends on the person typically it causes weight gain.

              • Bizzymammabee says:

Just checked drug.com and it only said that it can cause appetite change.

            • lisa the Irish Dragon says:

I use to go to bars and not drink alcohol, My friend drinks Virgin drinks when we go out Maybe Lauren will to,I find it sad people want her to fail so bad.

              • Aint Pittypat says:

I just calls it as I see it Lisa.

              • CJ says:

Lauren has shown herself to be a Chuckie 2.0. There is a reason people don’t like her. I frankly don’t care if she weights 100 or 300 pounds… she is still going to have that nasty personality.

              • lisa the Irish Dragon says:

                True

              • I agree. Someone is doing something positive and took a drastic choice for her health and all the negative do want her to fai. I am jealous. I have some left to take off and its rough. I have increased my excersize and decreased my calories but its still can’t get passed that last few pounds.

              • Aint Pittypat says:

Oh give me a break. Lauren didn’t do this for her health. Lauren was not morbidly obese. Plastic surgery is not a cure for having a mean mother who calls her an azzhole, the self esteem issues from being bullied by Mommy Dearest. Lapband is a band-aide on huge gaping wound that is Lauren’s battered self esteem. When the bandage fails she will still be unhappy and unhealthy.

              • lisa the Irish Dragon says:

You do not have to be morbidly obese to be unhealthy, and even if she wasn’t unhealthy no problem with taking a stand so you don’t become that. Diabetes is no fun I live by having to take my meds twice a day so my blood sugar is controlled, Only eating what is good for me when I really want a is fatty cheeseburger with Fries. I had to give up soda
that was hard enough, I wish They had Lap band when I was Lauren’s age.

              • Aint Pittypat says:

Lauren is not diabetic. Lauren is not morbidly obese. If Lauren had high blood pressure the Doctor would have prescribed a BP pill. Lauren has food issues as we all do. If she is drunk on WWHL then she is obviously not following a diet or any Dr.’s advice. If she is popping xanax then the lapband did not cure her anxiety (as if it ever could). maybe lauren needs to fix her family issues and have some great sessions with a therapist . Lapband is drastic. I have friends and co-workers who have had the procedure and gained the weight back plus more.

              • lisa the Irish Dragon says:

And your point is she should have waited until she had these deadly co morbidity waited until it was to late or until she had a stroke or Heart attack. Lap band is not drastic, no part of her body is mutilated or taken out, its less evasive and 100% reversible. Gastric Bypass is the Drastic surgery. People who diet and use Jenny Craig and wait watchers have a high rate of regain but people still use them and no one condemn the people who use them either
Lauren is basically damn is she does damned if she dosnt it seems.

              • k says:

                ITA aint pittypat, well said.

              • Aint Pittypat says:

                You are welcome K.

              • You can’t get a lapband without meeting the certain requirements. If you meet the requirements, don’t you have a health reason? And its not PLASTIC SURGERY, is it called reconstructive surgery. Wow, I think there is some anger issues going on.

              • Hersandra says:

Ditto. Harder and harder to lose as we get older. But if Lapband can lose with the lap band, then that proves she could have lost by dieting. All the lap band does is force you to eat less, because your stomach won’t hold very much food. She just didn’t have the willpower to do it herself, so she chose to go the surgery route.

              • As you can see by the use of lapbands and gastric bypass, some need the extra push.

            • Bizzymammabee says:

@ AInt..I forgot about the alcohol being a big no no. I would rather save the calories for something good.

            • lacey says:

Just because you go on a pub crawl, it doesn’t mean you have to drink. I went on a wine walk this weekend with family and friends and I do not drink. I had the best time and I got to make sure that everyone got home safe.

              • Aint Pittypat says:

Lauren frequently twitters about her drinking. Good for you. I like a glass of wine as well as the next person but I only consume when I have an occasion and take it into account when I tally my calorie count.

              • madepiley says:

But Lauren does… to the point of intoxication. At least that’s what she said herself on WWHL. And she pulled a Caroline 2.0 move too by referring to Andy by his full name when speaking to him.

              • Candace says:

Yep. Andy asked her if she was drunk and she said yes. She was making odd hand gestures, kind of wringing her hands.

They’re promoting a pub crawl on Halloween, also.

              • Aint Pittypat says:

Please eschew logic and what we have seen on RHONJ and twitter and WWHL. WE are busy promoting Lapband here as the cure to all female ills. Women must go underneath the knife to have a happy life and be well adjusted. Doesn’t anyone else find this constant message to women that beauty can only be obtained by surgery, fillers and so forth a bit barbaric?

              • Aint Pittypat says:

No please Made . You are destroying illusions here that with plastic surgery you are automatically transformed inside and out. Suddenly you are Saint Lapband! take heed 20 somethings don’t worry about being genuine, or your intellect, or being positive or kind and empathetic. Get the Lapband and you too will be perfect inside and outside.
My D’s best friend, sorority sis is a blonde version of Lauren before lapband, very successful optometrist with huge practice and she is one of the sweetest, happiest women I know. You know if she is at a party you will have fun. Why can’t we be who we are instead of a plastic barbie doll. It’s sad that we all have to weigh that ideal weight before we think we can be happy.

              • madepiley says:

So true. Its confidence in ones self regardless of number that is like a magic pair of permanent yummy tummy.

              • Aint Pittypat says:

Exactly Made. Some of that esteem comes with age and some are fortunate to be born with it. Aren’t we all attracted to the smiling laughing happy person who always seem sto have a good time? You are right is indeed like magic pair of yummy tummys. Look at Don Chucky, Jax, Adrienne Maloof. Do they seem happy to you? Or miserable and biotchy? All that money and plastic surgery? Still unhappy.

              • madepiley says:

I have always had to sorta fake it due to my issues with ED but my daughter has it, that confidence. I am very proud of her for that. She inspires me.

              • lisa the Irish Dragon says:

Its hard to build confidence when one is being teared down constantly.

              • madepiley says:

I know what you mean. Trust me. You talkin to the original Big B here.

              • lisa the Irish Dragon says:

I know she isnt Miss Personalty but maybe if she stopped hanging around those who speak so negativity ‘coughherfamilycough” she would be better and stop reading the crap people post on Twitter and other places
                about her.

              • madepiley says:

Those are great suggestions. She does need to break away from that.

              • CJ says:

Unfortunately, personality transplants aren’t available….that is what Lauren truly needs. No matter how much weight she loses, she is still stuck with that miserable and nasty demeanor.

              • Aint Pittypat says:

I would be so proud of my daughter drunk on WWHL . What an accomplishment! That’s worthy of a damn Nobel Prize! I might just get me a book deal so I can tout my parenting abilities to the whole world.

        • Hersandra says:

Not hard for me to admit, Lisa. I think she has a beautiful face and looks great. I don’t like the emaciated look, personally, I don’t think should have much farther to go. Just wish she’d had the willpower to do it on her own, is all.

          • lisa the Irish Dragon says:

Not everyone does,I dont have to tell anyone will power is just not a gift everyone has some people need help, that help comes in the form of tools like Lap bands and Gastric bypass. I see no problem with employing these tools. I dont have will power Its a struggle My dr has suggested gastric bypass I turned it down If you fail on willpower with Gastric bypass You may die.

            • Hersandra says:

Lisa, I hope you figure out what works for you. I just think Lauren was too young to have taken such drastic measures. I have a strong feeling that if she had lived on her own, away from the food her mother was cooking for the family, she could have stocked her refrigerator with only healthy low-cal/low-fat foods and lost a few pounds and gained some momentum for her diet. I bet her diets just never got traction because she was always around lots of good food.

              • Hersandra says:

Also she strikes me as the type who eats when she’s unhappy and dissatisfied with life. She should have gotten out of that house and away from her toxic mother. Maybe also some therapy to deal with issues of low self worth. I bet the pounds would have started coming off. Just my 2 cents worth.

              • lisa the Irish Dragon says:

No doubt her family is a road block, She prob would do so much better away from them. Thanks for your good wishes Giving up soda was a good start I dropped like 10 lbs in a month just by doing that.

              • Hersandra says:

WOW, that’s major. Good for you!!

              • lisa the Irish Dragon says:

Thanks if you only knew how addicted i was. My Dr always told me dont deny your cravings if you need a small taste them do it and move on. He was right I maybe have One or two sodas a week just for a taste and I dont buy it or keep it in my house so far so good.
Lauren needs to get away from the negativity she is around it hindering her.

              • Hersandra says:

So true — the key is to not keep the stuff in your house.

              • Hersandra says:

And I know what you mean about willpower. Chocolate is my downfall.

              • SaraJean14 says:

This picture doesn’t look recent…because on the reunion (which was filmed like a month ago) she looked like she gained weight back….why waste the money on a lapband if you aren’t going to follow the instructions? Trust me, I am a chunky person myself and I know how hard it is to lose weight and keep it off…but if you are willing to get surgery..you need to be more committed and not drink your calories!!

            • EmeralGreen says:

After studying human physiology, I learned willpower is a myth. I just cringed when mamma Carowhine encourages Lauren to do the liquid diet. What she needed was practical advice. Eating whole foods feels your stomach up and sends signals to your brain that you are full. Doctors making money off of lapbands don’t care to learn or share this with patients. It’s actually a much easier and safer way to lose weight. First you preload every meal with a non fat veggie soup, salad or steam veggie. Then you eat a small meal that also has vegetables in it. Then eat a piece of fruit for desert. That’s a natural lapband because you can’t fit the bad stuff in your stomach now because you are full. And you are getting all your nutrients so your cravings are curbed! Saute everything in veggie broth and don’t use liquid oil. Only get very little fat from whole foods like nuts and avocados occasionally. The weight just falls off and you aren’t hungry.

Here’s two books that could change your life. They did mine.

The Beck Diet Solution (not a diet book. More of a behavioral modification plan so you can stick to healthy eating).

              Dr. McDougall’s Maximum Weightloss

              • Sara99 says:

I do think Lauren looks great. However, that family hurdle will always be in the way unless she learns to block them out. I would not do lap band……but I do not judge. I was always thin. I never had a problem with weight. Now, I have a thyroid and autoimmune disorder.I have gained so much weight. I wish it was only willpower that I needed. I have tried eating right and exercise….nothing works. I am overweight now…not obese, but it is not fun. I have a very supportive family, husband, ect. However, I do feel it is naive to think that one won’t feel better if they are smaller and in shape. Everyone wants to look their best. I also don’t judge Lauren to hard as I would be angry too if my family ever treated me that way. She is still quite young….I hope it works out for her.

              • micabrown says:

BTW, I was always slender and could eat whatever I wanted but suffered from horrible migraines for years. In 2002, my doctor put me on medication to prevent them and I gained 60 lbs in 6 months and now I am fat. It does not matter how much I exercise or diet. I got off of the medication last year and was hit with a 40 day horrible migraine before having to go back on the meds. When I got off the meds, I lost 15 lbs very quickly, but sadly, now that I am back on them, I am heavy again. So I do sympathize; I hate looking like this but I hate for my head to hurt like hell, also.

  5. MrsZiggy1988 says:

LMAO, yes, it is also used to remove paint….LMAO

  6. mesocrazy says:

So funny! @ first I thought it was his real shirt.. Couldn’t understand y they would adv that ? Mmm yummy! And it cleans toilet water!

  7. mesocrazy says:

She looks like that Sammy girl from Jersey Shore.

  8. T C says:

    B ig L azy K ids

    Helps to keep you dependent

    Dependent
    Noun
A person who relies on another, esp. a family member, for financial support.

  9. njinthehouse says:

i can’t stand lauren. just look at her twitter. it’s all monstrous negativity thriving on HER 50 year old mom’s drama!!!! remove mouth from teet. just a thought!

also, i could SO see lauren quitting her salon just to drink bong water w/ her brothers and their gay best friend.

  10. It doesn’t matter how you do it, lapband or diet, she is looking very tiny. She said that she is working out, kick boxing and eating healthy. Lauren is not my fav, but I have to admit she does look good.

    • dch60 says:

She does look good but already it looks like she’s gaining some of the weight back. She looked bigger at the reunion than she does in that pic. Also, it DOES matter how she does it. You can’t only rely on a lapband to lose the weight you ALSO have to adjust your eating habits, exercise and NOT drink. And it kinda bugs me that she even got the lapband… that it supposed to be used in extreme circumstances for the obese.

And if you REALLY believe that she doing all that exercising then I have a bridge to sell you. If she was indeed exercising as intense as she described for three hours a day like she said she would be in extremely great shape. She wouldn’t have needed the lapband I can guarantee you that.

      • She had to meet the requirements to get the lapband.

        • Which were recently lowered, though still questionable at best. The two part documentary “America the Beautiful” actually talked about this. The old requirements (the one we actually have the research for) only allowed the surgery for morbidly obese people; however, there was push to change it because you now, profit and that. It’s a huge moneymaker and people are so desperate to lose weight, they will pay it. Now, anyone 40 pounds overweight can get it.

Problem is, if you aren’t morbidly obese, the health side effects are insane. Diabetes has been cropping up in a lot of patients because even though they lost weight, they damaged their eat. It can also f with your organs and nutrient intake. Part of the reason why yes eating healthy foods is okay and great, but if you decide not to consume them and only them, your body can get super messed up. After the research my friend (who works in a weight loss lab part with UPMC and UPM Research) has told me about, the procedure terrifies me. Often people will pay for it when more and more research is showing now that hormones and environment (terrible air quality bringing on asthma for example e.g.) is playing a greater and greater role.

  11. kj says:

I looked for this noone carries it butfound it at Crown liquors (dont judge me). I didnt feel sny differently, no superhuman strength or the urge to clean my house…didnt give the munchies however my concern was it would discolor my teeth. Bubbajax has said no but im not takin chances and it was on the 1/2 price shelf so prob discontinued anywho. Maybe they could mix with wakile red vodka put a pickle in it n call it awakilarita…ps would like a cut if u give a magazine interview about this jax

  12. kj says:

Perhaps they can sponsor Ms SH nuptuals with wakilaritas

  13. pjbottoms says:

    Dang Lauren is looking good!

OK Here Goes—-BLK: cures cancer (in rats), kills fleas, moisturizers horses hooves, stains teeth, freshens breath (in dogs), confuses turtles, highlights asphalt, soothes lugnuts, enhances chewing tobacco, softens stool samples…..

  14. maybeitsyou says:

I suspect that’s why she’s looking to marry Vito for financial support. I don’t really dislike the boy but I don’t see anything he’s got going for him either. So… why bother with him? I know she’s not Heidi Klum but Vito’s not really what you could call good looking at all i/m/o & LM isn’t some sweethearted girl whose just fallen for him. So what’s the point , unless she wants him to support her. I’m surprised with her less than bright mind (lets say) she hasn’t shown up with a dependent -putting him in a position where he feels like he has to marry. Pitiful thing to do, but that’s how some of the more selfish very dependent folks think. & some males fall for it. I think it’s a form of co-dependency. We could ask Chris L. about that.

    • missingrealityused2bjoan says:

Vito already knows to the tow the line…Lauren wears the pants there.

      • Aint Pittypat says:

Lauren can also berate the male species in a manner that makes their ears bleed and causes uncontrollable twitching.

        • lisa the Irish Dragon says:

Vito is taking over his Familys Deli business at some point and is a college graduate
He is far from a Loser.

          • CJ says:

Vito seems like a nice young man. I feel sorry for the guy. He can see what Lauren is going to be like 20 years down the road when he looks at Chuckie. Run, Vito, run.

            • Candace says:

Vito is a nice young man, who likes to expose his anus on national tv.

If he did it on a subway, he’d be arrested and put on a sex offenders list.

              • Bizzymammabee says:

Vito’s parents seemed like nice hard working people when they visited them. Wonder what they think of the Manzo clan.

              • Candace says:

Yes, his parents/family seemed nice. Wonder if they cringed at all when he exposed himself.

              • Bizzymammabee says:

Probably cringed but figured he was young and doing stupid things that young folks do. Probably looked the other way too because he got paid to appear.

              • Aint Pittypat says:

I had a whole lot more respect for Vito’s hardworking family then I did for the Manzos. Remember when Queen Caroline came floating in, bloated with pretension and fugly? Caro acted as if she royalty visiting the local serfs, gracing them with her presence. Al was every bit her equal. Run Vito run.

              • Bizzymammabee says:

Yeah they had that air of assholeness about them that day.

              • CJ says:

Aint, Chuckie also had to point out that she had a Chanel purse, while Vito’s mother did not. An absolutely crass and mean spirited statement.

              • Hersandra says:

She’s so crude and unrefined. Some would say it takes a much more confident person to NOT carry a designer purse, Caroline.

              • Aint Pittypat says:

I’m with you Candace. Could have gone my whole life without that information.

              • RichmondVA says:

                Candace- LMAO!!!

    • dch60 says:

What Vito doesn’t have going for him is he’s with Lauren Manzo. He’s too good for her IMO.

  15. madepiley says:

    Covers greys and bald spots.

    • Aint Pittypat says:

Shhh MADE! you are giving away my top secret marketing ideas. I wanted to sell this to Chris L but he wanted my bank account and routing numbers plus my social . Dayum. Y’all don’t think Chris is shady do ya?

  16. Shana Hughes says:

Lauren will back to 280lbs in less than a year. They say when she gets cut she bleeds mozzarella. And she does not look tiny in the photo. Next to that oversized gay teddy bear Gaygy, anyone would look tiny. The Manzo spawn are leeches and lowlifes.

    • lisa the Irish Dragon says:

WOW mind reader are you? This is why People with weight problems have such issues no matter what they do People criticize them even when they lose weight and look great it just dosnt seem to be enough for some people.

      • Shana Hughes says:

She is on a reality tv show so it is bombs away with regard to viewer commentary. Stop making this nasty POS out to be some kind of poster child for weight loss. She took the easy way out and she is too lazy and self-indulged to keep the weight off. The lapband is not a magic pill and I stand by my prediction that she will be gain back what she lost and then some.

        • lisa the Irish Dragon says:

Ill make her out to be what I wish Thank you very much. Its been a yr since she had the surgery and No weight gained back I think she will do just fine. And if you think Lap band is easy Think again Its hard, you still have to diet and exercise which she is doing so How does that make her lazy? Why do people think that with lap band you can sit on your duff and the weight comes off?

          • Shana Hughes says:

She did not diet and exercise when she really needed to which was before the lap band. She took the easy way out. I could care less about her “struggle” it is just how some make her out to be some kind of a saint.

          • dch60 says:

It IS the easy way out for someone who is maybe 40-50 lbs. overweight… why else would Papa Manzo say “and if that doesn’t work, don’t worry daddy will buy you a lapband.” Papa Manzo was the size AND age of someone who the lapband was created. If she is exercising three hours a day (which I SERIOUSLY doubt) and eating healthy and NOT drinking, daddy would have had to offer the lapband to her in the first place. Btw, I think you’re wrong… she has gained some of the weight back IMO.

    • pjbottoms says:

      Dang Shana…ouch!

    • Hersandra says:

I don’t like Lapband as a person, but I think she looks fantastic in the picture! Beautiful face and great body. Not everyone has to be a stick figure.

  17. madepiley says:

Ima gonna give these people a gift cause I’m feeling charitable.
    Chris, Christopher and Albie,
Look it yall. People aint feeling the black tinted water. Sorry they just aint. So here’s what I propose. Take the folvic acid and minerals and put it in a capsule, attach a single blister pack to a bottle of clear clean spring water and now you gotcha yalls selves a doable marketing gimmick. Everybody will want to be seen carrying around their bottle with that comes with its own capsule attached to the the actual bottle in a cool way. And on down the road you can add various different vitamins and such to your line.Multivitamins, B12, zinc, calcium supplements even that gekko below ya stuff ect. ect. You get the idea. Get this bottling idea patented ASAP and then sell it to coca-cola ASAP like a good biduz person would do. Multivitamins, B12 ect ect. Who’s ya momma now?
    Yalls welcome,
    Made

    • pjbottoms says:

Good idea Made! BLK in powder form like Starbucks or Crystal Light “Refreshers” !!!!

      • madepiley says:

I know Ima dagdurn genius. :) The blister packs could be attached to the inside of the lid(clear lid to the gimmick is visible) to aid in the transport. It would be a bit of a nightmare to have the blister packs on the outside of the bottle falling off before they make it to the stores. If they don’t snatch up this idea I am sure Bethanny can make use of it in a NY minute. :)
Oh and I meant ginko biloba.

        • pjbottoms says:

You know…they could also sell it as an eyeshadow pigment like M.AC. does and call it a “limited edition.” I think that MeGo should start a Rockstar Makeup line and include BLK as a part of the glitter eyeshadow pallette. To think they hire people to come up with marketing ideas and we do this shit for free!

          • madepiley says:

We is a goldmine PJ! Country girls can survive.

          • madepiley says:

If the folvic acid can be found to have tightening properties like how they put caffeine in some thigh lotions that would be another selling point for the eyeshadow line. I am thinking big picture, not just marketing to RHONJ viewers. They want people to buy this stuff and not even know what a Laurita or a Manzo or a Gorga is. That would be the real key to long term success.

    • Hersandra says:

Kind of like Emergen-C packets, but attached to the bottle. Great idea.

      • madepiley says:

My hubben is gonna be so pissed off at me if they take my idea and make a fortune off it. :) I reckon I aint as genius as I like to think.

    • madepiley says:

      p.s.

    • kj says:

Perhaps a male enhancement drink at $20 bucks a shot..up the price?

    • dch60 says:

If I wanted to drink water like BLK, I would go down the street to the lake and collect the water by dragging the bottle on the bottom of it. Same dang thing and it’s free.

  18. alcohol says:

Aint gonna lie, Lauren looks good.

    • madepiley says:

Yeah her little dimples look so much more pronounced now. Very cute.

      • Deshawn Snow says:

Too bad she is a raving biatch. I find her to be downright ugly on the inside.

        • madepiley says:

I agree with ya DeShawn. Her actions is what kills it for her. That’s why she is much much more photogenic in still shots. But once the Bravo camera catches her sour disposition its a mess.

          • DeShawn Snow says:

The fact that her own brother had to take her to the prom speaks volumes. Even Carrie managed to find a date.

            • madepiley says:

Right. And her momma braggin about it too. As if her perfect male child did Lauren the greatest favor ever. Just crazy.

              • Aint Pittypat says:

Caroline is unabashedly her daughter’s worst nightmare. Lauren deserved a hug and a little mother-daughter time that evening on the RV trip. Sorry I have never wanted to slap anyone so bad as when she called her daughter an azzhole. My hand was itching. I hope Lauren can get away from toxic Caroline. Having the smirk brothers thrown in your face 24/7 doesn’t help either.

              • dch60 says:

It’s true… Caroline was awful and has been awful to her all along in my eyes. One of the first episodes she called her stupid. Granted, that was the same time Lauren said she didn’t know what a democracy was but… However, I’ve known many girls/women whose mothers were biotches and they turned out just fine despite their nasty mothers. Lauren claimed that she was nasty because she was overweight, however, she’s looks good now and she’s still nasty so she buried herself with that excuse. It’s her personality, not her weight.

              • Aint Pittypat says:

I have to agree. You make many valid points. Thanks for the reminder.

        • madepiley says:

Are you THE Deshawn Snow? Wow. :)

  19. Deshawn Snow says:

Chris Manzo is always throwing back this stuff so it is a proven fact that BLK stains teeth. That goon has a jacked up set of teeth. Is it just me or does he always look like he needs a shower? Obviously Greg does not mind because rumor has it, Chris is Greg’s lover, not Albie.

  20. cns says:

I think Lauren will stay with Vito until she loses all the weight, then she will dump him and try to upgrade. Remember when Caroline tried to get Albie and Alexa Joel together. Talk about delusional. I’m sure that Caroline has told Lauren that if she loses the weight she would have better dating and marriage prospects, which is kind of good advice if your daughter is lazy and lacks ambition. What’s funny is I think Vito might be looking for an out himself. Look out for an amicable split from these two.

    • dch60 says:

It will be the best thing that ever happened to Vito. He deserves better. I can’t see Lauren having the ability to “upgrade” however. I don’t care how cute she is on the outside, she’s shown her true colors to the world.

    • dch60 says:

Just thought about something… maybe she and Joey Gorga can hook up after Melissa leaves him for a richer, more prominent guy. Shouldn’t be too long now that her head’s even bigger from being #2 on the best looking reality star list. She’ll probably leave the kids with Joey.

    • RHONJ Addict says:

Albie and Alexa would have never worked as a couple. She doesn’t have a penis. ;-)

  21. Lisbeth says:

i keep wondering what kind of morons ever thought that BLK Water would sell. The color of food highly influences how we feel about food. Who the hell would want to drink black water??? We filter our water to make it clear and pure, not add crap to it that makes it look dirty. The fact that it possibly stains teeth is too funny! :)

  22. love nj says:

Do you think Lauren got liposuction – tummy, thighs and butt? Do you think she got a tummy tuck ala DonCaro?

    • Aint Pittypat says:

Yes to all of those procedures. She applied for the experimental personality transplant but the new brighter personality was quickly rejected by Lauren’s body.

    • lisa the Irish Dragon says:

She might have, when you lose a lot of weight quickly esp with weight lose surgery help Your skin does not shrink and you have a skin pooch in your tummy, arms and Legs.
Nothing wrong with having that removed via Plastic surgery.

  23. RichmondVA says:

BLK is good for both mental and physical health. It increased physical strength and sharpens mental accuity which can be helpful in the following activities:
    1. constant twittering about former friends, beauty tips, and developmental disorders
    2. lifting heavy objects (i.e computers out of warehouses)
    3. the ability to breastfeed children until they are well- into their 20′s
    4. the ability to spell napalm
    5. the intelligence to be able to demand others to spell napalm
    6. the intelligence to give elloquent speeches about fambly, despite the fact that the majority of one’s family is not one speaking terms with them
    7. the talent to act out a meltdown about one’s fambly member then not have a tear to wipe after said meltdown
    8. the financial ability to buy a friend’s items back if they are auctioned due to financial problems
    9. Being able to do #8 at the time of your own bankrupcy
    10. the ability to scare a wussy little network VP into not revealing any of your Real family drama while on a reality tv show.
Come on y’all!! Show some respect to the Manzoid/ Liarita famblies!! Geeeez ;)

  24. Was it Albie who tweeted the “testimonial” from the “Mom of an autistic child” who said kid loves BLK and she noticed a big improvement in his focus/behavior after drinking?

If that’s the sales pitch and story line for next Season – Congrats on your ticket straight to Hell Jacquelyn & Crew! :(

  25. RHONJ Addict says:

I am from the southern part of NJ, and the nearby Dollar General had the 20oz BLk at 2 for a $1. I asked if they buy direct and they said through a 3rd party. My guess is Wegman’s or some other chain cut a deal to recover some money because this sludge just ain’t selling. I’ll stick to Vitamin Water thank you very much!

    • Hersandra says:

Wow, 2 for $1. I think you’re right — the stuff’s not selling and they’re trying to unload it.

    • I have seen them advertised alot lately. Usually 2 for 3.00. I was on the west coast last week and several grocery stores had displays which kind of amazed me. One store was even doing samples.

  26. MicaBrown says:

Why doesn’t Albie and Critterfur go to work at the Brownstone? It seems to make money? It is called WORK!

    • dch60 says:

You answered your own question. ;-)

    • originalcyn1 says:

They all worked there at one time or another. Christopher worked his way up to a manager at one time. I think Lauren was a waitress. Albie has a business degree and I think he worked on promotion when he didn’t get back into law school.

  27. Lisbeth says:

TO MADEPILEY: Thank you for posting the “In My Daughter’s Eyes” video. I’ve been crying since I listened to it. I have two daughters and it really touches my heart. <3
    ______________________________________________________________________________

Here's what I don't understand about Lauren's Lapband surgery. . . A friend of my daughter's was at least 100+ pounds overweight. She went to see an excellent doctor who specializes in the surgery.

The doctor refused to do Lapband Surgery until she had psychological testing, all kinds of physical and mental testing done, which took months to complete, then she had to diet and exercise before he would even consider the surgery. It took almost two years until this young lady had the surgery and she devoted all her time and energy to preparing for it.

I don't understand how Lauren found a doctor to do this surgery when she was not considered to be morbidly obese??? Everyone one I know or have read about has had to jump through all kinds of hoops to have Lapband…why didn't Lauren?

The sad thing about my daughter's friend is she has gained back all of the initial weight she lost plus some. She says it was a waste of money. She's not the only one I know that this has happened to. Lapband isn't always successful and can actually make things worse if you're not totally committed to the lifestyle change, diet and exercise. It takes a tremendous amount of self-discipline which I'm not sure Lauren has. I wish her well but have my doubts. She doesn't seem to commit to anything for very long.

    • lisa the Irish Dragon says:

You only have to have a BMI of 40 or 35 with a co morbidly to have the surgery, Lauren is very short ans stocky No doubt she meet the BMI requirements to have the surgery.
Lauren had the surgery a Yr ago and looks great, I will have faith in her. I didnt read in the FDA requirements that Pysch testing is required I know it is for Gastric bypass didnt know for Lapband.

      • lisa the Irish Dragon says:

I did a little google search and People who posted on a lap band webste said their Testing only consisted of 4 visits over a span of one month , one lady said she only had one visit. Lead me to wonder if the Pysch testing for Lap band is less then for Gastric bypass

        • Aint Pittypat says:

Lisa it does not matter. Lauren has Mommy issues and self esteem issues . She has to fix those issues. they aren’t going away just because she had lapband. Actually will be exacerbated when she finds that being a certain size and looking an idealized way still doesn’t solve her problems. IMO. Bitter and mean cannot be cured with weight loss surgery.

          • lisa the Irish Dragon says:

Oh yes I agree she needs to deal with her anxiety for sure. I just posted that because the above poster said her friend had to see someone for and it took 2 yrs to get approved. Lauren def has issues.

        • dch60 says:

If the testing is different for lap band than for gastric bypass it shouldn’t be. Lap band is less evasive but everything else about it is the same. It’s just a bit of a different way to do it and it can be adjusted whereas gastric bypass cannot.

    • Aint Pittypat says:

I hate to be Nancy Negative but one of my dearest friends had lapband and all was well for two years and then the weight crept back on. She was devastated. Her depression deepened. Finally she started seeing the psychiatrist again, the same one she was required to visit as part of her pre-op. She is doing well, is still losing the weight albeit slowly. She says she has an emotional addiction to food. I think we all do to some extent.

      • Hersandra says:

I assume the band expands over time, so that you can actually eat more food as the years go by?

        • Aint Pittypat says:

You have to have it tightened, But we are all missing the point (me included) You have to change your eating habits. You cannot drink alcohol. You cannot eat fatty foods. Your tummy maybe smaller but if you are eating junk, lots of carbs then you will gain it back. In other words you have to do the hard work anyway. It still will come down to will power. Are you going to eat pasta with cream sauce and meatballs or sausage or a pice of baked chicken and a veg? You cannot even bring this up or have a rational discussion about the psychological factor that impacts weight loss without being accused of being mean. The most important thing isn’t losing weight and having a plastic surgery so you can magically feel better about yourself. It’s about being healthy. Trust me I have been overweight and finally said I want to wear a reasonable size, look good in my clothes and be healthy. I had to take a good hard look at myself and genuinely change! Change what I choose to eat. I also had to be realistic . I am well into my 50s , have asthma and high BP but I have fought my way back to good health. Lauren is under 25 and healthy why would she ever make a drastic choice like lapband? And yes IMO it isnt a cure all.

          • pjbottoms says:

There are many of us here on the same road as you!:)

          • madepiley says:

This is a bit off topic but have you seen this yet Pittypat? This makes me feel like my heart is gonna burst wide open. So happy for her.

            • Aint Pittypat says:

Oh Made! That was beautiful and means so very much to me. You really get it. Thank you from the bottom of my heart, I am lifted up. Love ya Made! I hope we look back at some space ain time and realize that Autism isn’t death knell but a bell brightly pealing.

            • RichmondVA says:

Made, this video is so special. Thank you so much for sharing. Girl, why are you trying to make me cry? ;) I’m almost bawlin’ at this point!

            • CJ says:

Sitting here crying, it was wonderful. Fortunately that little girl got the help she needed at school along with dedicated parents. Parents that spent a tremendous amount of time working with her every day. Not all children are so fortunate.

          • Hersandra says:

No, I get it, trust me. I see it on the scale when I eat carbs.

      • Hersandra says:

Oh, to be one of those women who LOSES her appetite when she’s stressed!

      • dch60 says:

When it comes to emotions and food intermingling it’s either an addiction or an aversion. Neither is desirable but I don’t think we all have it to food. But if it’s not food, it’s something whether it be alcohol, drugs, shopping. There has to be a release for the negativity if one is not completely emotionally healthy and not too many of us are. Then the shame and guilt just complicates things even more. I’m not completely heartless to Lauren’s problem but I’m not convinced she has all the tools to continue doing what she has to do. That’s not a put down either. Just a sad fact. As much as I dislike her, I certainly don’t wish bad upon her and actually hope she succeeds. I just have my doubts especially since she seems to be drinking quite a bit.

    • madepiley says:

      You are very welcome Lisbeth.

  28. LillianLudi says:

    Super comment, Richmond!!

  29. Jennifer says:

I just can’t stand this girl….she comes of as such a nasty bitch. Also, does she even have any of her own friends?? I remember when I was her age, I was always with my friends. She seems to have an unhealthy attachment to her family and no life of her own. They showed the first season “lost footage” the other day and there was Lapband attached to Caroline’s hip, going food shopping, going to softball games (for her wonderful brothers) but NEVER doing anything on her own with her own friends.
