Remember back in December 2010… almost TWO years ago (has it been that long?)… when Lisa Vanderpump was having a nice, quiet evening with her husband, Ken Todd, and LA news reporter, Robert Kovachik? Remember when another guest at the Polo Lounge started to harass Lisa… and it escalated into a scuffle?
“‘I’ve seen the show. You’re wearing a lot more make-up now, and your eyes are darker and smokier,’” Vanderpump recalled the man saying to her, adding that he was “extremely drunk.” The man approached the booth and insulted her guests, asking, “What are you doing sitting with old people?”
At that point, Kovacik stood up and asked the man to stop–getting a punch in the jaw for his trouble, she said. The man also allegedly pushed Vanderpump’s husband, Ken Todd, to the ground.
Fast forward to three days ago: Robert Kovachik has fully recovered from his injuries… and has jumped right back into the very dangerous field of being a news reporter at NBC4. Watch out for those cockroaches!!

Speaking of the RHOM… Lea Black chats with OK!Magazine. It sounds as if Marysol Patton is not one of Lea’s favorite!
You didn’t have Marysol work your gala event this time because you said she didn’t do a good job last at the one. What did she do that was so wrong and how has your relationship been since this situation?
I think what I said was she “dropped the ball.” There were 15 other galas she didn’t participate in either. Don’t read too much into it. It’s just complicated, let’s leave it at that. She and I have never been close friends and we are currently friendly at a distance. I only wish her well. Everyone has a bad day or night from time to time. We used to be friendlier, but never close.

I know, I frickin’ love that camel video! But the jewelry? Looks nothing like the stuff she wears (which I usually like). Looks mass-produced and cheap. Fail. And it’s time to drop the Countess moniker, IMO.
I’m trying to figure out why it’s so much money!!! I don’t see anything there costing more than $20 to make. She’s nuts if she thinks it’ll sell. And, I agree, the stuff she wears on the show is completely different–it’s more urban, and native-american looking. Now, THAT, I might wanna buy (but never from a HW!).
First season, especially, she had some Native American chokers and necklaces that were really unusual and I would drop some serious cash on. The stuff she’s been wearing lately is probably nice but doesn’t interest me as much because it’s not as unique. But her line? Total non-sequitur-cheap-shit-what-the-hell-was-she-thinking-hell-no-it-won’t-sell. Slapping the “Countess Luann” brand on it won’t make it nice.

Something seriously happened to have Lea not want Marysol to do her events anymore, and essentially blackball her from other events. I can’t wait for it to come out this season.
Just two thoughts. Surprised to see Kim doing nice-nice next to Brandi + Marta (Miami) is the new Cedric. Meow.
Ugh Luann’s jewelry is junk, and her own that she wears is not much better. Looks like her usual cheap gypsy get up. Poor woman she has her fancy title but never had the fancy money to go with it to buy the real stuff.
Say what you want about Luann, but she has a beautiful face. Her jewelry looks like Forever 21.

Yup, her face is really pretty and the work she’s had done hasn’t obliterated her natural features like some of the other HW’s.
The jewelry angle is so nauseating like the other platforms these ladies hop onto to promote their ”brand”. It all feels so manipulative now.

Yes Luann is very very pretty and dresses well. Very tailored and classic. But this jewelry she’s pimping out. Omg are you kidding? So cheap looking and so overpriced. If we see her stuff, it will be at discount bins. I’ve never seen Jill z line. Anywhere. She told Andy it’s selling off the shelves or something like that. And that she has millions of fans. I would buy the toaster oven if it ever the heck comes out.

Well, I think it’s great that LuAnn started her own jewelry line. Now, she won’t have to beg Carol to ask her friend, Rajanda (sp?) for baubles to wear… Next, LuAnn will start a haute couture line of dresses for the same reason: no more borrowing from designers who feel she is beneath them. She can call it, “Countess Couture” or “LuAnn’s Luxe Line”.
