Of course, MeGo needs “time to heal”… for the next go-round on Season Five of the RHONJ! What other story line would she have??

“While discussing the volatile RHONJ reunion on Watch What Happens Live, Melissa responded to a fan’s question about whether her relationship with T was finished for good following the Posche fashion show incident (Strippergate!) and their hours-long reunion battle.
“I don’t like to speak definitively when talking about family,” Melissa said, continuing: “I never want to say never because deep down in my heart I love Teresa and I know her brother loves her more than anything in the world.”
“Right now I just think we need a little time to heal. I do believe that time heals all wounds and I think we will fix this eventually.”
Mel’s fellow guest Mario Lopez then asked about her relationship with Teresa and Joe Gorga’s parents, and Melissa said she and her in-laws are on good terms.
“Joe and I don’t discuss the show at all … with my in-laws … I’m sure they know, I think they hear a lot more on that side [Teresa] … We just want to take the time with them and be with the kids and not stress them out.”

I cant forsee this ever healing and going away. I think these wounds are so deep that they will be a source of contention for this family forever. I dont think that one of them and I mean any of them can let anything go. Things that have come up on this show between them are 7,8 even 10 years old and they still mention them. Its like they never apologize and drop it, they just get mad, gloss over it and keep it hidden to pull out at the next fight. This seems to be learned behavior from the Gorga parents and probably Melissa’s family opperates the same way. I hate to use this reference , but I’m going to “the mafia never forgets”, I’m not saying they are mafia, just that tthis mantality seems to have permiated the culture in NJ.

Look. I graduated high school in 2003 so I remember the state of culture very very well. It was pre-reality television (except crap like Survivor and Big Brother) & there was still this sense of anonymity or privacy amongst people. There was a very select few group of people who ran after this mythical singer/actress/mom shit & it was definitely not respected. Most people still had genuine interests because they didn’t sit around with their face buried in a phone or computer screen all day. They had real jobs because a few real jobs still existed & it wasn’t in the slightest bit entirely respectable or normal to think that getting famous was the ticket or key to anything substantial in one’s life. The only people who thought that were dumb teenagers, like the ones I knew in school. Just think, if you were an adult & met someone like Melissa back then. Someone with no personality, no interests, no draw except her small frame & her fake tits. You’d be put off, too. The world was not as entirely enveloped with narcissistic, boring, mindless fame whore zombies who felt entitled to shit just because they existed. Yes, I knew these types of people but I am a different generation than these people. The mentality of Gen Y has grown like a cancer all over the minds of Gen X & the baby boomers. It is so acceptable to be a loser with no job & a camera in front of your face now. It is so acceptable to be a scantily clad, glitter boobed bimbo now a days. I can’t imagine many parents of sons would be thrilled with a Melissa-type…she just seems like trouble. And now she wants a singing career. She should have done that when she was younger and single. Yeah, I’m sure her in-laws are thrilled with the likes of her… Remember when Melissa insisted on calling her husband to show up at the fashion show? No female would want to get their husband/brother etc riled up and show up like that. Teresa was worried her brother would get into a fight and didn’t want him in trouble. That should have been Melissa’s thought as well. Missy kept insisting, stating maybe he would want to come…and then did you hear her say after he showed up that she told him NOT TO COME!?! She’s a total instigator…isn’t Melissa nice? Give me a break. She’s absolutley horrid.
The same can be said about Joe Guidice. He is trouble, look what he calls their daughter on TV! He is a cheater facing 10 years of prison. I am sure Teresa was worried for her brother, but common sense would be that you let Joe decide who he wants for a wife and not make an enemy of your sister in law.

In the first season, Teresa says her parents weren’t happy about her relationship with Juicy – he was known as a “bad boy”. None of these folks are classy by any stretch of the imagination, but Melissa DOES NOT have her husbands best interests at heart. Only her own. I understand what you are saying, but within some families/ethnicities, all that kind of stuff is important (marriage-alliances). And I do feel bad for Joe Gorga. I think he is too stupid to realize his wife is a gold digger. I truly believe he is caught up in her looks which allows him to overlook her ways. Juicy and Tree definitely deserve each other…don’t get me wrong, but I would much rather have Tree as a SIL than Melissa any day of the week.

Listen, these are TERESA’S parents. Her own parents are going to love her in spite of fake boobs and the way she dresses. It’s different when you’re marrying into a family, especially an old school italian family. The Sr. Gorgas probably wanted a conservative-like girl for their son. If Melissa had big fake boobs and looked like a stripper, she would not have fit in with that ideal. Teresa may look like a stripper and have fake boobs, but she’s already part of the family. I also don’t think she looks like a stripper. I think, for the most part, Teresa chooses clothing that accentuates her features but isn’t overly revealing. As for her boob job, I think she went up to a B but no bigger than a C. I don’t think that’s a huge leap.
I totally agree that their parents might want someone else as a daughter in law. However, that is not their or Teresa’s choice. Only Joe Gorga could make that choice. My observation is that Teresa started the fight because she never liked Melissa and insulted her the first time she met her.

I just want to say, maybe your family is different. My brother is like the runaway groom/fiance. He has brought some pretty skanky girls/woman whatever, and he brought some really nice ones home. Some I got along with some I didn’t, the point is IF I wanted a relationship with my brother, I HAD to get along with skanky girl or nice girl, he went in spurts. He has been engaged so many times, the last one NO one in the family liked. We bit our tongue because she could have made his life more miserable and frankly he was an adult and that is what he chose. When he broke that engagement we really let it out how much we disliked her. My mom would tell me don’t say anything to her if you want everything to be ok with you and your brother, she was worried that if she said anything eventually she wouldn’t see any kids if they had anything. So, yeah, you eat crap and grin because you don’t have to live with them, you just have to visit. Now, is someone laid a hand on my brother all bets are off, and there is about 18 months difference between us and we were very close.
It does change when you get married, my brother don’t exactly get alone with my husband and vice versa, but they speak to each other at family gatherings. My husband is not very social, and my brother is, and my brother is jealous because we all pampered my brother. My husband is an only child so he feels like my brother does, it’s all about him more or less. So yeah, in adult relationships you do eat a big crap sandwich and say how good it is, that my friend is life.
I’ve been thinking about that. It must have been a whole lotta crazy as Caroline would say! Joe Gudice was Joey’s friend. Joey did not want Tre to marry Juicy because Juicy was a tough guy. Juicy marries Tre, but Tre is still “best friends” with her brother who also has a bromance with Juicy and they are all jealous of eachother. Then Juicy somehow de-thrones Joey as The Number One Son. Joey accuses Juicy of stealing his father and meanwhile Juicy has knocked Teresa up a few times and then Tre chooses Juicy’s side. Now Tre is BFF with her cousin Kathy and Richie is their comic relief and they party like rock stars on Juicy’s boat. In the meantime, Joey has like two finances and no one takes him seriously when he brings home Melissa. Enter Melissa with her alligator baggage, twin sisters, and divorced mom. Their are no men in Melissa’s family so she must put on her Amazon hunting outfit and go and hunt and gather her some family men. Such a Greek tragedy!

But then you look further back and Teresa dumped out the cookies Melissa bought to Christmas Dinner. Then Teresa only dumped the cookies because of the card Melissa gave them for their housewarming. The card was only because Teresa told everyone Joe and Melissa only did their home to one up Teresa. This shit has been going on since Melissa joined the family, Its hard to say where the initial hate started. I dont think the Gorga’s were welcoming to Melissa and I dont think Melissa did anything to change their opinion of her. Joe Gorga removed himself from it initially until the Gorga’s started treating Joe Giudice as a son and little Joey got jealous.
Now they have dragged it out never really resolving anything and they are so unwilling to really take any responsability and now they drag the kids into it and repeate the cycle. The Issue here has never been Melissa or Joe Giudice, it is all JoGo and Teresa and the Gorga parents. Teresa and JoGo always have to be the center of attention to each other and especially in the parents eyes and they are willing to take everyone down with them to be that. It really is a classic case of sibling rivalry.
Great points! I would bet that it all started the 1st day Teresa met Melissa. Melissa said during the Napa trip that Teresa told her she looked like a stripper with fake boobs and that her parents wouldn’t like her. Teresa laughed and didn’t deny it. It probably escalated from there.
If that story is true, then you’re likely right. But if the respect of his family meant so much to him, then MiniJoe should have known better than to bring a stripper into a traditional, old school family.
I don’t remember which episode it was, but the two Joes and Melissa and Teresa were in the RV together laughing and having a good time. I think it was when they were touching eachothers boobs. Anyway, at some point Melissa told that story and Teresa laughed. MiniJoe was a stripper too, so he isn’t much of a traditional, old school family guy. Is Joe Guidice an old school family man? If he is, then I think Melissa fits right in.

I just want to add that as soon as MEHO is gone or if T starts raking in the millions, JOGO will be on her (T) like rice/pasta. He will start with the apologies, then quips about the sibling love that was once there and so on. He will use any card he can get to make sure he profits off his sister so that he can fund his life. What a low life piece of shit! T will of course be blind because she deeply loves her brother even when he himself is using her for money.
I totally agree with your point of view but lets hope he figures out what a demon hes married to by then and gets sole custody of his kids so the grandparents can enjoy them in their old age! Teresa loves her brother and I beleive her husband does as well but there has been so much trash thrown around them that they just lost sight of it for a while! I can see them working together if Melissa and her sick sisters were out of the picture. I hope he puts her on display and she stays there so the family can work on getting back together for good!

So the reunion was filmed one month ago and they weren’t in contact with the elder Gorga’s and according to Joey his kids have lost their grandparents and now just one short month they are having dinner together once a week and playing cards etc……I know Joey & T’s dad does not watch the show they have both said he doesn’t but their mother does so I wonder after she sees the reunion if she hasn’t already since she is in Italy “supposedly” (hard to believe anything out of MeHo’s mouth) gotta wonder if these faux “Friday night dinners” will continue. I just can’t believe a single word outta her mouth or her soon to be imo ex-husband’s mouth either (when he becomes an ex (imo) will go running straight to T who will open her arms and help him with love and understanding because he is her brother and Juicy would stand back and not interfere. Would he do the same? Not if he was with Melissa if Melissa was out of the picture I think he would.

Who knows, it could get picked up for some Jersey Shore type show or become big. *There are really a lot of crappy tunes that top the charts these days. I also feel that Melissa is too old for what she is selling. I just can’t tell if I find her face harsh because her features truly are hardened or if it’s just my negative perception of who she is inside. the problem with figuring out who started this family fight is kinda like what came first the chicken or the egg. Its obvious theres alot of bitterness,jealousy,and rivalry on both sides. Too heap all or most blame on one side definately shows a bias and vested interest in seeing someone ultimately saying “see i was rite!!”. very grade school. With family feuds i always urge people to except your own shortcomings and try to move forward. If the other party cant to do the same then they arent ready or have no intention on fixing things.I do know without a doubt that noone loves you like your family and if you are not willing to take some ownership in your contributions to the problem then family unity is very low on your priorities

Tre will never like Mego. Mego is a completely narcissistic person that will never allow her husband to be close to his sister. Tre cannot change enough to satisfy Mego. Tre is a strong successful woman and Mego can’t stand it because she isn’t. Since Joe is no longer wealthy Mego will be looking for another SugarDaddy. At that point, Joe will wake up and quit worshiping Mego. Either he will blame Tre for his divorce or move closer to her and her family. Mego was nothing but bad news for the Gorgas. Joe thinks only thru his “man organ” and is really very immature. Perhaps in his next go around he will look for a mature, kind woman who will really love him as well as his family.

Also as a son of a builder it is not uncommon for builders to live in their speck home. I’ve known builders who have lived in an “unfinished ” build for several years on many occasions. Not saying they are right or wrong but its not that big of a deal especially if the loan payments are current. If you have ever read builders code law there is always a way to show someone is violating code which is against the law.

I lived through the Oil Boom and the Oil Bust. Folks partied like rock stars. PJ the sad part was the poor ole things came to collect their purchase and the collapse had already started. They wanted to return it all for cash. We had a no return policy on special orders.
