Simon van Kempen and Alex McCord are stuck on that “reality show” merry-go-round. But, hey… if their agent is presenting them with these offers of easy ‘reality’ money, why not!?
That aside, wanted to see what they were up to on “Couples Therapy”… found that Simon is writing his review of what’s goin’ on during “therapy”… From VH1.
“In the darkest moments group session, I sat there pretty uncomfortably and largely in silence as Alex showed real pain (NOTE: Great acting, Alex!!) over her recollection of when she had shouted at me wanting a divorce earlier this year. What compounded my reaction while on the couch was that until she had brought it up at the CT house, I had actually forgotten she’d said that. Perhaps it’s my own sense of denial that I just blocked it from my memory…”
NOTE: Seriously??? Alex better get her story straight with Simon! According to ActressAlex, the most horrible story of their marriage goin’ down the drain… and a huge reason for going on “CouplesTherapy”… was when she screamed at him that she wanted a divorce. Simon says above that he doesn’t even remember that outburst. Simon blames it on “denial.”
OH, and Alex has written her review of Episode One… where this line, pushin’ her home goods stuff, was included:

WHY… OH WHY…WHY didn’t the “CouplesTherapy” producer/s invite Jillz and Bob-BAY to participate with Silex?? Jillz woulda gotten her much-needed ‘reality’ attention… and she and Bob-BAY coulda gotten all caught up with Silex!
Jillz gets to unload on MissAndy during her “One-on-One,” but Jillz is gonna haveta be satisfied with the end results of the editing of her “explosive” appearance on WWHL. From this preview, it just sounds like Jillz is doing more whining.

There was a HUGE culinary event, attended by most of the Orange County Housewives, which took place two weeks ago. Hmmm… a huge foodie event and this is the first hearing about it?
PressRelease from Melodika: “Heads turned as celebrity guests Tamra Barney, Eddie Judge, Slade Smiley, and Heather Dubrow, of the infamous reality television show, “The Real Housewives of Orange County,” joined the affair.”
The inaugural GoldenFoodieAwards were held to spotlight the LOCAL OC food industry… and according to their site, don’t be surprised if the GoldenFoodies are on TV! Hmmm…. could the “highly-educated” Heather Dull-BRO have anything to do with bringing the Foodies to TV? Maybe this could be a new “reality” show for Dull-BRO, Tamballs and Slimey … running a restaurant! OOPS… Lisa Vanderpump already did that spinoff!

Morgan Fairchild really dresses like an old lady.I barely recognised her.Her outfit sucked and really showed her age as far as style goes. Why the heck was Kate there?She needs to fall off face of earth.Her 15 plus minutes are up.
THAT is Morgan Fairchild? OMG what happened? She was so cheesy tv glamour in the ’80′s and now looks so dumpy. Oh well, it happens to all of us I suppose.
Morgan could have looked better in some Old Navy duds. Not a flattering outfit at all. I grew up scared of her sharp nose. It looks like you could cut cheese with it or sumpin’. Was it naturally like that or hacked by a surgeon. Always figure the latter.
I see Morgan Fairchild, I think of Jon Lovitz on SNL, when he played The Liar, and said, “With my wife, Morgan Fairchild.”
Morgan is 70. She looks horrible.
Ms. Fairchild needs to get to Victoria’s Secret and get fitted with the right Bra ASAP!! Pull those babies up from her lap! Gosh almighty she has a mirror right?
Well, in all fairness, Ms. Fairchild is a lot older now than in her hey day.
Gee… I guess I’m in the minority, but I thought her outfit was appropriate for her age — slacks and a silk shirt. Nothing worse than an older lady trying to look young and put it all out “on display on display.” Even Caroline Manzo should probably start raising her necklines a bit. Morgan could use a better bra, but other than that, I think she looks great.
Alex busting her ass out of the pool was funny.She and her gay hubbend need to go.Fake story to get on another reality show.
Susie….I’m glad I’m not the only one that thought it was funny, I burst out laughing when I saw that, the theatrics before hand was unbearable and than she does that and it was the funniest thing! But my sister and I are bad about laughing at people falling, (as long as its not serious) I know it’s awful but the looks on people’s faces when they go down is hilarious!
What was alomst as funny was the wierd turtle neck bathing suit she was wearing.
That suit was HORRIBLE. I laughed out loud loudly and rewound the fall. I am the horrible one i guess.
I once saw a guy tumble down the up escalator. And when he got near the bottom… It kept pushing him back up the steps so he couldnt get his footing. I think he probably got pretty beat up but it was still soooo funny. And quite a crowd gathered to watch because it was like never ending.
Most escalators have an emergency stop button. I once saw an older lady fall on one and it was scary. I always check out escalators for the location of the emergency stop button, now, just in case:

Poor Alex. I saw that episode and it was so fake; she said she didn’t even remember what the fight was about. But that this was the lowest point of their marriage. Why couldn’t they come up and practice a better story? For some crazy reason I have soft spot for Alex, but she is a terrible actress.
@Hoosha, yes you are spot on! That is exactly what Alex said, she didn’t remember what the fight was about but at the end, she told him she wanted a divorce. I thought if you have an argument that severe, seems like you would know what you fought about, my goodness! The other couples are able to articulate their issues but Alex and Simon, it is quite obvious, they are desperate for more publicity!
Yes, I noticed that too. If her argument (6 months ago) was that cataclysmic, why couldn’t SHE remember it? btw: Simone had completely forgotten it and now claims he was “in denial”. WTH? The only denial he (and his manish wifey) are in; is their self importance and lack of acting chops.

I left a comment on his blog-where he re-captured this episode. I asked him what they really were there for since they appeared inseperable,himbecoming a ‘housewife’. Naturally,I followed up whether they are still chasing unicorns and rainbowsor attempting to get their own reality show.
In all seriousness,they are famewhores no better than the rest of them and, just not willing to go away. I’m awaiting a response from him, since he likes to answer all comments.There were 6 of them!

I always thought Alex was homely looking. Her head reminds me of a neanderthal, very chiseled and square. Not a very feminine look.

She loves posing nude in hotel hallways (if I rem correctly) so why not make a “sex tape” & LEAK it to the press…seriously, thats something I would never wanna see! I can’t remember but that is nasty enough that I would have said it so I am just going to say that yes, it was me who said it.
They are hard to watch. I avoid anything they are in to be honest. It’s acceptable behavior in your teen years, but at their ages it just turns my stomach.
I for one am shocked that anyone would want to divorce Sima’n (said like Iman). Shocked I tell you!!!

I have absoultely no more time for another reality show…hence Simon and Alex’s will be missed by me…love the pix of them! Yes they love fame…remember how they perused the fashion section or social section of the NY papers to see if their pixs made it in… and how excited they were when a snapshot of Alex’s back was shown? (Or something close to that…) They would attend an opening of an envelope as once stated by a cast member as I recall…
Ooooh so NOW JillZ confesses to her hurt after being dropped… I can’t imagine the barrage of calls Ms. Andy and crew faced down in the wake of that event. I thought JillZ said it was like graduating college or somethin’ along those lines… like on to next. SH asks the question that if Silex’s agent presents them with easy Reality show money, why not? How about self respect, being ambitious (beyond what comes easily), and having an old fashioned hard work ethic? It’s very telling that Simone admits he didn’t give a rat’s ass about Alex’s shout out for a d-i-v-o-r-c-e. In most of his RHONY scenes, he was a controlling, narcissistic windbag. As to the claim that Alex possesses “fine acting”; I beg to differ. She’s a pretentious, social climbing, wannabe. Her “harumphh” out of the hot tub and subsequent splat onto the pool deck made her look comical. Their search for relevance has made them both go from the ridiculous to the sublime.

I read Simon’s blog as he is now blogging for VH1 about the show since I guess Alex is out of or almost out of her Rumor fix job as soon as the last snooze fest RHONY reunion show airs. He also puts a link in his blog to their family blog where you can then read Alex’s blog about the same damn thing. She is so upset though at Courtney’s lack of dress for dinner that her and Alex had made for everyone. She has to point out that they make their sons dress for dinner every night at their house. Um, I am sorry but isn’t that just a bit much? When my kids were growing up they had to wash up before dinner but they did not have to “dress” for dinner unless we were going to a fancy restaurant or wedding etc. Same with all my grandkids. Wash up come eat. Talk about pretentious these two are man sakes alive I just don’t get it.
Maybe Silex’s kids’ dress for dinner is wearing clothes. I doubt those little guys are forced into suits and ties. It’s interesting to read that Alex was offended by Courtney’s “style” of apparel. She didn’t seem to mind during the episodes that have aired so far. Her outrage must be a delayed response. Simone seemed okay with Courtney’s lack of coverage. I think van Krappin’ and McCoward just blog what they think the public wants to hear. Why won’t they just go away and get real work?
