I love mama elsa. She reminds me so much of so many of my family people.

I really can’t get into this show, half the time it makes no sence…maybe because more than half the show is in sub-titles. Anyone else feel this way or is it just me?

Yeah, I can’t either. I was kind of interested in Joanna Krupa’s storyline until she was a ridiculous drunk. Now hers is boring. “Who cheats on a super model?” Umm, someone who realizes looks aren’t everything.

Her face was weird. It would move on one side when she smiled, but not the other. How old is she btw? Just freaked me out.

Looks like Elsa has been run over by the Ugly Truck then back over again. What a sad way to go through life & it was a choice to have that work done. Disgusting.
It is sad. She has said on the show that the plastic surgeon messed up her face and then she had to go to another one to try and correct the damage. If you didn’t watch last season, believe it or not, she looks much better than she did.
How utterly disrespectful! I wonder when Miss Elaine is a septuagenarian if she would want someone to disrespect her in that manner!
Mama Elsa, I like your style. She’s got her priorities straight; speak ill of someone over something as trivial as a red carpet?! Where is humility today? Man’s ego equals man’s downfall. Bump onto yourself, Miss Elaine! It’s never too late!
Granted that scene was set up however Ms Eliane approached both women in a friendly way. I agree that older people should be given a major pass- but Elsa took it to ‘I should hit you with my purse’…..come on, that’s completely uncalled for. I think Elaine showed a lot of restraint which was the most respectful thing to do at that moment. It was very rude of Elsa.
She was called a drunk, that’s respect? Mama Elsa was clearly upset over what that woman had been saying about her daughter and when Mama Elsa was having difficulty getting up (I will give her points for trying to help her) but after being told that she should leave she throws out, “you don’t tell me what to do” . Childish. I hope it is all a set-up and in the end Miss Elaine will be humbled and make amends with Mama and her daughter and recognize the error of her hubris. I don’t watch this show but it seems that Bravo is trying to go in to the direction of presenting those that exhibit such traits as the bad guy (which they should) and I will predict that all will be good in the end and respect and humility will win…
We saw this scene differently. I didn’t interpret Elaine’s approach or Elsa’s reaction the same way as you. I did see Elaine confront Marisol about the red carpet snub in the nightclub scene. Or as Elsa said, ‘that rrrrrrred rrrrrrag’ and Marisol passed the buck as a ‘client’s preference” and quickly diffused the subject. Elsa going after Elaine after the fact is the same to me as George confronting Ramona about his daughter. It’s silly and unnecessary- yet still feel Elaine handled Elsa more gently than Ramona did George. Telling Elsa ‘ you have obviously been drinking’ after Elsa threatened to hit her was understandable to me, so no, I don’t think it was terribly disrespectful.
I agree meow! You are spot on when you mentioned the similarity with PT’s dad and how everyone (myself included) thought it was inappropriate- yet it’s okay for Elsa to do it? I thought Elaine did approach them in a friendly manner and that old hag attacked Elaine right off the bat for calling her “mama” when everyone else does? Elaine immediately apologized and did so several times. In my opinion she (Elaine) was very respectful and handled herself very well. Elsa threatening to hit her with her purse was disgusting and it was only after that comment that Elaine said Elsa had perhaps had too much to drink. I would have called her a drunken old hag or something if she threatened me with physical violence. Then, Elaine tries to help Elsa get up and she insults her and yells she doesn’t need help, but then falls back on the couch- she is a hot mess. I did like Elsa initially, but she is nasty and weird with all that voodoo sh**.
What the hell is Marisol thinking dragging her elderly mother to these parties?!? We had to see Elsa pass out and leave via ambulance once already. Now she’s doing the cha-cha and arguing with a six foot tall glamazon. I tell ya my nerves can’t take this anymore ;(

It is widely known in the Cuban community here in Miami, Elsa worships the devil & has no problem telling people who crosses her she will put a curse on them & the Gran Diablo will make their life hell on earth. I find this woman intolerable.
Gran Diablo? Where’d you get that from? I can tell you Elsa is NOT any type of devil worshiper or into any type of black magic, etc. And yes, I’, from Miami and know Marysol personally. Elsa actually used to be Madonna’s spiritual advisor and “Cuban mother” back when M lived down here in Miami in the ’90s.
Johnny where are you getting your information about Elsa being Madonna’s spiritual adviser ? That’s another lie that has been perpetuated no doubt by her daughter? I hope she tries to tell that lie on TV because according to any & everyone who knows these two “Desperate” woman, neither of which, deal in any sort of REALITY. They have become persona non grata in Any sense of society in Miami. Unless the party has a CIRCUS theme.
Dina, I got it from her brother Christopher who used to be there at the house with Madonna, Ingrid Casares and Elsa & Marysol. He even mentioned them (Elsa & Marysol) by name in his 2008 book “Life with my sister Madonna”, so NO, Marysol doesnt even mention M. It’s just a fact. Google it if you dont believe me.

What did Miss Elaine do that was so terrible? Mama Elsa was drunk and I couldn’t understand her. I just started watchin, did Miss Elaine do something bad enough to be hit with a purse? lol
She was never called a drunk. Elaine asked Adrianna if SHE was getting drunk. Elsa already was drunk, obviously from her not being able to stand on her on. Elaine was such a lady offering to assist her stand even after being threatened by Elsa. You can tell Elaine was raised by a loving mother & grandmother through her respect of women.

Everyone knows drag queens have a wicked sense of humor and I am sure Elaine could have let those two tired old women have it with a few words but she was very respectful to her when she certainly did not show Elaine the same. I hope we see the entire exchange between them. Elsa had to have been drunk when Elaine was trying to be a lady and help the old woman up but she was too drunk to stand. If it had of been me, I would have told her to go to hell. Elaine is more of a lady than i am if you want to know.

Elaine should have let Elsa have it after she threatened to assault her with pocketbook. Goes to the core of this woman’s way of thinking and lack of rationale. The entire nation is waiting for Elaine to put them all in their place, maybe her and Lea will get in to it. Elaine seems like a nice but not too nice kind of a gal.
Elsa thinks she can go around saying whatever is on her mind yet Elaine can’t confront her when she has something to say? Elsa is a lush & it appears Elaine had a drink or two herself. Never been an Elsa fan and this just seals it. Scary to look at and hear. Take that accent and add alcohol and she sounds like a croaking frog. Don’t understand all the fawning over her. Just old and wierd and not fun to watch. Another Mandy failure.
It might be entertaining to some to watch a handicap person try to scoot across the floor but it is sad & exploitative. Her daughter is a horrible person to put her mother on that show only so she can be on the show. Everyone knows there zero appeal to her daughter and without Elsa there would not be a spot for her. Pathetic is a world I’d use to describe them both.

How come Bravo doesn’t put some subtitles with Mama Elsa’s dialogue? They put them when Teresa’s parents are on and they are MUCH easier to understand than this woman. Between her accent, alcohol impairment, and the effects of the plastic surgery on the mobility of her mouth, she is next to impossible to understand.
There is enough ugliness in this world I don’t need to spend my time watching Elsa’s post stroke face & put forth effort to try and make out what she is blabbering. I don’t watch a lot of reality tv for people like Elsa. I think Andy must hate women to find her in the least amusing. Elaine is a beautiful creature to look at. I could watch her all day on a show. Bring on the Beauty.

Elsa’s accent reminds me of Ricky Ricardo in the I Love Lucy show. It’s hilarious! You may not agree with what the woman is saying, but I (almost) always find her entertaining. Much more so than women who are only a fraction of her age.

To be that old and that much of a hot mess is really a crime. I think anger management could help Elsa more so than facework and alcohol. She’s really a scared little child inside of all that huff & puff, just no one has noticed it or did anything about it…sort of like how mental illness gets laughed off.
