I totally agree with you, my opinion is he’s picking up on Melissa’s jealous vibes & listening to the evil shenanigans from her, except she could care less about her in laws, she hates Theresa so much, she want’s to take their mom & dad away from Theresa. She probably tells tiny Joe “I’m so sorry she takes up all your parents time from you” “Our kids don’t see their grandparents bc of your sister” “She must be telling them lies to turn them against us” but what she really means “I want to hurt her so bad, I’ll get her parents away from her” under the guise of caring for Joe’s feelings.

It baffles me that he just can’t be a man and go see his parents when Tre isn’t??? I have a lot of siblings and rarely can we all get together, but also my oldest brother made poor life decisions and he clashes with the rest of us. So he and his family work out with our parents when they meet. It isn’t that hard.
I agree, jogo is a total baby. This is not how an adult male should behave. He’s either bringing it so his offensive wife can stay on the show or he has profound emotional issues or both, I say both. If my husband acted like that, I’d leave him, I need a Man.

Yes, one of the things I love is that he lets Carowhine & Jax know he doesn’t care. Tre I think tries too hard to be nice. I get that Carowhine is unhappy with her life & both she & Jax have made a mess out of their lives , but that’s not Tre’s fault. On one hand it’s easy to feel sorry for the Carowhiney’s & Jax of the world but then it’s their own doing. & if they’re going to use that unhappiness as an excuse to try to blame Tre , that’s on them. I mean the pity falls away & you just have to laugh. Maybe we shouldn’t but you do. Love that Joe doesn’t let tryig to be “nice” get in the way & make him a phony. I would love to know what JoeGnome did to stop his parents from wuving him. He must have done something because in a first generation old skhoooolll Italian famiry, the son is usually the pride & joy. They can do ANYTHING & mama will still make them pasta & iron their clothes. IE. my friends brother has been in jail THREE times in ten years for mafia related reasons. My friend & her sisters are all ‘good’ girls, always helping their parents when needed. The son is still the favorite by far.

Ugh, It’s getting sadder and more tragic watching the Joe G and Tree’s sadness and frustration, I could feel their pain in that video.
Shame on the rest of them for fueling and feeding both sides of what is obviously very deep rooted family pain that spans deeper and wider than this silly show.
I would bet it’s true that Tree tried to get Caro and Jax on her side before Mego and Kathy bombed their way into the show and I understand why after seeing how it all played out.
It wasn’t the smartest approach on Tree’s part because now it’s being used as evidence against her but she knew what she was up against with Mego and Kathy.
If Caro and Jax were emotionally intelligent and empathic enough, they would have had compassion for the deeper issues and not used the family’s estrangement and struggles to support their own issues with Tree.

I think Teresa in tears and the sad tone of her voice, talking about “mommy and daddy”, and then Mego chiming in with “yes you do”, and Jax trying to jump in, pretty much shows this all in a nutshell. It’s just been Tre and Joe trying to fix things, with Mego goading the anger on and Jax and the rest making it all worse with their two cents. Mego needs to step out, and the others need to back completely out. Tre and Mego can work on their relationship after Joe and Tre get a chance to better things, if she cared for Joe she’d let him have a relationship with his family and start with just being civil and go from there. There is no law saying Mego and Tre have to be friends before Joe and Tre can.
Joe Gorga ordered Teresa to be nicer to Melissa. He told her that if T wants a relationship with him, she has to kiss Melissa’s a$$. No matter what Teresa says or does to Melissa, Melissa will always turn it around to be negative (so subtly that Stumpy cannot perceive the deception). Teresa just needs to accept that Joe will never be her brother again as long as he is still married to Melissa. When Melissa leaves him, it will be Teresa’s fault, but eventually they might heal.
On a side note, how many Housewives are in financial ruin or are faking their wealth or have ruined relationships? Haven’t these women figured out that unless you are super wealthy that signing on to this franchise spells doom? Their (relatively) low salary cannot support what they must portray. Economics 101, don’t spend more than you bring in.
So many. AT least in the OC’s case, the struggle was because a few of the women were real estate agents, then the market tanked. They could afford their lifestyles…until their chosen career field folded. I think the thing is all this new money needs to be stably wealthy, like the loves on the Beverly Hills (which is generally regarded as old money anyway.) I think this shows reflects a lot of the complaints of the Occupy movement (while I teach now, I’m going back to school to earn a PhD in Political Science and hopefully become a college professor.) Their major complaint is that the financial “winners” in this country are only there basically by cheating and lying.
Now obviously individuals like those on RH series are a drop in the bucket compared to wealthy corporations, but they pull similar tactics. If a poor single mother working two jobs, has an adjustable rate mortgage that the bank won’t work with and can’t afford her housing payment, she would be shunned, homeless, out to dry, ruined credit, never ever able to open a businessetc. etc. and she can’t afford a lawyer to help her keep her home, these bitches usually can or prove to the court they somehow *need* this because it is their *expected* lifestyle.

Yes, jealousy is one of the hardest things for someone like Mel to deal with. First off she loves attention. & second she seems to be in love with playing the victim. You would think that would grow old after a while. I mean how long can you be the poor suffering victim of something before you just become an helpless clown? I have a theory that Melissa cannot handle the fact that Teresa has successfully been avoiding being available for Melissa to abuse. By not speaking and avoiding contact with the Gorgas and living her life peacefully, Melissa has been denied her favorite victim and the ability to create tensions between JoGo and Teresa on a regular basis. Without that contact, she loses that control over JoGo and he starts to miss his family. The only way Melissa can get that control back, is to bring his parents into it and separate him from his parents and blame Teresa.
Something as small as, when his parents come over, obviously there would be tension because of the situation. Instead of Melissa letting Joe and the kids interact and start to heal the situation, I can guarantee she is sitting in the background pouting, telling Joe of EVERY little slight she perceives his parents make, and then blaming Teresa for the problem. BOOM, killing two birds with one stone: Distancing Joe from his parents by getting him angry at them, and fulfilling her need to blame Teresa and attempting to get the Senior Gorgas angry with Teresa, also.
Problem is, she doesn’t understand why this doesn’t work, so now she is getting desperate. She is lashing out at Teresa in the rag mags obsessively now, because Teresa has countered Melissa’s attempt at victimizing her for several months and it’s all built up in Melissa’s mind. In her family and in her world it would have worked. She cannot understand why it isn’t now. Teresa changed the rules, and Melissa cannot understand how to work past them.
It’s already starting to become extraordinarily obvious she is desperately trying to trash Teresa. It’s a rather disturbing and twisted pathology Melissa is projecting.

Yeah, he does. It may also be a cultural thing. I’ve witnessed 5 brothers in our family who came from similar roots and ALL of them had a side woman at some point. They still stayed with their wives for 50+ years each. Who are we to criticize marriages that seem to last that long? Not defending cheating husbands, but sometimes their culture play a large role in their likelihood to do it.
I agree. If my life was perfect and everything I thought it should be, I’d start lecturing to the world. It’s their business.
I don’t like cheating, broke up over it, and believe once a cheater always a cheater. However, I choose that for me. They will decide when it’s time to throw in the towel for whatever reason, it’s between them. Hard to deal with the yo-yos in their circle, but I like that Juicy can take any question, be a friend to Chris, and stick up for Tre. I don’t know that he did cheat, I don’t cheat with him, don’t know him. When Tre comes out and says he did then I’ll know. But she’s sticking with him, true or not.
Joe Gorga is definitely sniffing or maybe huffing (cheaper) & probably steriods, his roid rage is classic sign. I wouldn’t want to be his supplier because he will rat anyone out. 1) JoGo sold his parents home for money to invest in his business – which he has squandered all their money. 2) The first show he was featured in “The Baptism” he made a fool of himself just to TRY and be viable on the show. Tre and her parents NEED TO LET GO OF JoGo & MeGo or it will kill them.

Nonna B got it. Stumpy Joe lost his parents paid for home. Besides all the crap his wife pulls on his sister AND picking on her children, their parents lost their home in his tanked money scheme. Man, I’d never speak to him again if I were them.
How does Jacqueline know what Teresa talks about with her parents? In at least the last year, she’s had no contact with Teresa. SHUT UP, JACQUELINE!
i am sure Theresa has a very full life with everything going on and her daughters, that the Gorga’s have plenty to speak about without bringing up Joe. My daughter married a horrific monster – when he is not deployed, I speak to her, but when he is home, we do not speak. I don’t talk about her or him at all. You don’t want any painful memories or discussions because we all have a lot of our own stuff going on. I truly believe they all have many other topics to discuss than MEGO – especially since they know it is a difficult subject. How many people do you know sit there and constantly talk about horrible subjects. People usually avoid them.
Yes, I seriously doubt Tre & her parents spend that much time speaking about Joe & especially Mego. No matter how much they love lil’ Joe , he made his choice years ago. & I don’t see how anyone can force themselves to care about a phony. I wonder if the son (Joe) is just a phony himself. I think he really must be . He seems to have no ability to see through Mego. That or he just doesn’t have the integrity or heart (where his parents are concerned) to really care. I think the reason Jax doesn’t believe Tre is because she’s fallen so badly herself. She seems to think of nothing but Tre. She’s become another bitter Carowhine. When people get like that everything in their lives takes a backseat to their constant focus on the person they blame for their problems. Tre is guilty of everything in their minds , someone has to be , can’t be them . It’s easier to focus on Tre than to focus on their own problems. If they were to try & look inward or really look at how they became so “angry” with Tre they might have to focus on their own flaws, bad marriages etc. we can’t have that now can we?? Funny that Jax (& Carowhine) can’t really see what’s going on.
Its common for someone who is angry to allow outsiders into a situation for back up. Minijoe has at least ten people in his ear saying…..you are so right. She has done this and that. None of those people ever wanted Joe and Teresa to repair their relationship. They each have their own motives. I think Jac is constantly provoking Teresa via twitter, interviews, because she wants some kind of interaction with her. She thinks Teresa should overlook everything that has been done to her because it was all a plan devised by Bravo. Like…..come on Teresa, you know Bravo made us do all this! But heres the problem….its alot easier for Jac to do that because she hasnt been the whose life has been wrecked. Have any of them suffered the consequences to the degree Teresa has? I dont think so. But I think the dynamic between Caroline, jac and melissa will be a big problem in the Manzita family very soon. Caroline really wants nothing to do with Melissa and Jac does. I smell trouble. I can only hope we will hear about it since so many of these people wont be back for the next season. After the results of the Signature Apparel suit, I will not have any interest in Jac at all. Thats a deal I made with me.
I agree with most of the comments about Melissa, she rules and is th emanipulator behind that situation. I am in something of a similiar situation with my inlaws and the way I handle it is, my husband goes and visits, attends parties and other family events and I choose not to go, I do not have to interact with any of them and I leave any decisions concerning my husband’s family up to him. I have no comment.
Would I like to cuss out the leaching, hypocritical parasites that I believe some of them to be absolutley, but I keep my opinions to myself and let them get on with it.

Joe Gorga has the classic signs of steriod abuse, the unnatural body proportions, the swollen face, the out of control anger, (roid rage) he did not get this way from lifting weights> I had a male friend ,really cute but on the shorter side and I had to beg him to stop, I still don’t think he has and now he is into guns, and crazy conspiracy theories and survivalists. It actually can cause death and there have been murder suicides as a result of this abuse. Joe Giudice is a black belt and even though he has a gut he has gotten his bulk from. Also I was looking at pics of Teresa and Joe when they first got married and he was cute and they were a sweet couple, Teresa did not need the breast augmentation and should have kept it at a full B cup because it fits her proportions better. Many people comment on her hairline, when Lynda Bird Johnson was going to an event with George Hamilton, the famous make-up artist (George Westmoreland) to all of the old stars actually shaved her hairline, and he made her look incredible, as a make-up artist in film this is what I would suggest to Theresa, its not that her forehead is small, its that the hairline comes down which is true of many Italians, like one of my best friends. She has a lot of hair.
I see that I made a typo by not finishing my statement that Joe Giudice works out to achieve his muscle whereas I do not believe Joe Gorga does, and let me clarify that you shave the hairline back to give more forehead, and I would not use anything permanent because you want to keep all your hair later in life

Can I just say that as a female I would much rather spend time with my mother than my partners mother. It is just what I prefer, and I guess that most people who have a normal relationship with their parents feel. Therefore Teresa prefers her parents, Melissa her own mother and sisters. It is just the way things are. It is down to Joe Gorga to make an effort to see his own parents, and isn’t anyone elses fault he doesn’t. I really dont see how this should be an issue, even though it clearly is.
The one thing that really irritated me about this clip was when Jac piped up – why on Earth is she getting involved in this. Also if T does speak to her parents dont they speak in Italian? I am also of the impression that none of the Laurita’s can? So how would Jac actually know this for a fact?
This whole show is starting to grate on me. They should just cancel it and let the ‘housewives’ go back to what relative obscurity they came from and deal with their issues away from camera.

I read through it and it does seem strange, not only cause melissa sister kim must think she is Jemma from the sons of anarchy, which is funny cause I always knew she was puttin on a show trying to act like someone and I just couldnt put my finger on it until I read this tools time line. Check it out if anyone has a minute, these people associated with the gorga/marcos are pitiful street scum, and I’m from the streets and would never hang with their wanna be asses!
I don’t know about just blaming Bravo for the ugliness. I know they may set things up but they can’t do that if you don’t go along with it. Like with Tamara going after Gretch, on nat’l television , while she’s dealing with a Jeff’s illness. (the first season Gretch was on the O.C. show) Gretch had no bone to pick with Tam but all of the sudden , while unhappy & dealing with misery at home (Simon) she lashed out again & again at Gretch. You can blame the show to some degree but if Tamara had been in a good place or if she had decided to be a better person , she wouldn’t have been so hateful to Gretch. It’s one thing to dislike someone. Who hasn’t met people they don’t care for. But to keep slamming a woman whose dealing with her b/f’s illness what’s the point? Same with these gals on NJ. This was a family fight between Mel & Tre nothing that they should have jumped into. Most of us try to calm things down. Only a troubled , unhappy or bitter person would look at a fight , especially a family fight & jump into it. So if Jax wants to blame Bravo, I just don’t buy that. & her need to keep tweeting to or about Tre , somethings wrong there. Maybe when her life straightens out she’ll see that. Tamara did to some degree with Gretch once she left Simon & that stress behind. Maybe Jax will wake up. Bad thing is I don’t think she can repair that friendship. 10 yrs. & she destroyed it. She needs to aske herself what was the point?? To side with someone like Carowhine?? Surely she finds more value in herself than that. ??
