Russia, I have a child in special ed. This is HIGHLY insulting to those with Special Needs. Just because my child learns differently than other children does NOT make him garbage or uneducated! Because he learns differently and has medical issues, he is placed in Special Ed. We are currently working on his IEP to figure out what he still needs to know in order to go to college and do something in the field of Robotics. It is people like you that make me so sick and angry. I fight constantly on my child’s behalf against those with prejudices that you are expressing. I think it is YOU that needs an education.

I might add that as a high school teacher with many mainstreamed special education students in my classroom, that people would be so surprised if they observed my classroom and tried to figure out which students have IEPs and which do not. In fact, of the grades in the first six weeks, the student with the highest average in my class has an IEP, one who requires ZERO accomodations from me. I just have some kids with “labels” and some without. If I made lists of my classes in order of grades, overall GPA, number of discipline referrals, standardized test scores or class test scores, the special ed kids land just as randomly on the listas everyone else.

Get as involved as you can and fight for your child because there are always people out there who say, “We can’t do it that way.” I ran into that with my son and to this day I am thankful that I went my own way to work it out on his behalf. Slowly, things are changing, but the vast majority in education still want things done their way, representing the masses. You must be your child’s strongest advocate because no one else will be.

If they think conducting an autism charity event will help them out of debt they had better think twice, because as evienced in court documents, their non-payment to the Susan G. Koman foundation for $18,000 speaks volumes! The Laurita’s belong in jail and I would be willing to bet the Manzo’s have their hand in the scam as well. Can’t wait for full exposure and discovery to come out!

Yes! I’ve said this many times. True, you can’t definitively tell what condition a child may have by looking at him, but having seen quite a few photos of kids with FAS, I have to say that Nicholas does look as if he has it. I don’t know why you’d assume that Jax would stop drinking even after she knew she was pregnant. And judging by her demeanor, I suspect it’s not just alcohol–probably Xanax as well.
I disagree with the FAS speculation, both the conclusion and the speculation itself. It seemed a more reasonable conclusion regarding the child of the housewife-who-is-no-longer-talked-about, but the speculation about it bothered me then, too.
I think juicy had other reasons for the drivers license. Maybe moving or hiding money, not as if he is the most honest person. The DUI, you don’t plead guilty if you were not. Please . He had a better shot at winning on the dui than the drivers license. The prosecutor will say, smile, your pictures right there.

I would like to respond to this because I work for the DMV (I prefer not to reveal in what state). Stacy what you said I agree with 100%, there is no excuse for drunk driving, unfortunately in my experience the Joe Gorgas are a dime a dozen when it comes to this and people are usually aware of these men, what most people don’t see is the women like Jacqualyn, the innocent happy homemakers that get DUI’s (now before I get blasted I am NOT saying Jax actually does this, I don’t know her so I can not say she does this, I am saying a lot of women like her). We can blast the Joe Gorgas all day long but you would be surprised what type of women end up with DUI’s and probably a majority of them haven’t been caught yet, look around you, you probably know one of these women. Again, by my experience and what these women have revealed to me is, if you met these women you may or may not see them drink socially and if you do they controll it when in public but once behind closed doors (husbands off to work, children at school) that is when they are most likely to drink and once started if they run out they don’t think twice about jumping in their vehicle to “run” to the store and get some more. After all, how embarrassing would it be to call someone to get it for them or take them to get it. You also might be surprised at how many of these women pick up their kids from school after “having a few”. I guess what I am trying to say is it is so easy for people to judge when someone gets a DUI and it is so public, yet people just love the Jacqualyns of the world and forget that they are just as human as the Joe Gorgas are, the difference is the Jacqalyns just haven’t got caught yet. I really just would like to bring awareness to the different types of people who get DUI’s because there is a stereotype that most people look at and are aware of when infact it could be the mother in front of you at school picking up her child. I hope I stated this in a way that I am not coming across as accusing someone in particular and I am certainly not justifying ones actions above the other, I am rather tired so I hope I made sense here!
Great post! I agree! I have so many friends who enjoy their wine during day while kids r @ school. DUI can happen to anyone& I think a huge percent of people have all driven while at least having 1 drink. There are lots of “bored ” housewives out there dabbling in presc drugs& alcohol. I know many . Ugh! I do not mean any disrespect to anyone & I do not condone it but just happen to see it daily! Which boggles me as I don’t have kids yet & still can’t party like these parents?? I am just too old , I guess? The thing about Joe is that he really doesn’t care about fame, he is who he is! Not saying he is fabulous just that he is exactly who you see on TV.

Now, need to let you know that I am no fan of Joe Gorga (Melissa’s husband) but I think you did a real disservice here by messing up the names so blatantly. Joe Guidice may not act differently in front of the camera, but he does not deserve any adulation for his realness. He treats his wife horribly (I don’t like her at all) drove drunk, and purposely tried to get away with stealing someone’s identify (doesn’t matter if brother allowed it or not). He is so unworthy of anyone’s high opinion.

Apparently you missed the point of the post as to pick it apart about names, as I stated I wanted to avoid getting blasted but I am human as well and make mistakes. I appreciate you bringing up the Giudice/Gorgas name mistake and I will clear that up with another post, I have seen this same error many times by people posting so I don’t feel alone in that mistake. If you would rather you can insert your own names i.e. John Doe or Mary Brown in place of the names I used however this was my post and those are the names I chose to use.
tl: How do you feel about Joe Guidice continuing with breaking the law, by taking his (almost twin!!) brother’s information to the DMV to get an additional license for himself? I think THAT is what has the court up in arms. I have no idea how or even if they’ll follow thru since it’s in NJ, and so far we’ve seen such a lack of professionalism from the prosecutor’s office there regarding our nephew’s murder! They’ll sit around and postpone things for a few years–it’s what they’re good at!

I 100% agree with you because I know a stay-at-home mom, as well as one who works a few days a week, and both abuse alcohol then jump in their cars to drive kids. A friend of mine refused to allow her child to ride with one of them and, boy oh boy did that woman get indignant! I say always try to know who your kids are riding with if possible. Accidents happen in a matter of seconds, and you don’t get another chance with your kid. So don’t second guess yourself — protect if you suspect! (Sorry for preaching.) I would NOT allow my child to drive with Jax.

I read an article about this exact thing last year….at home moms drinking & driving, picking up their kids, etc….there was a mom that did it in the town I live in and the daycare refused to release the children…when she threw a fit, they called the cops. She actually ran over the cop’s foot with her car as she left (refusing to get out when asked)…it turned into a chase, etc…pretty racy for the small town I live in. I dont have a “high opinion” of Joe Guidice, I like him because he’s real….everyone knows what he’s done….it is played over & over for millions to see….I think he should wear the “big dummy” tshirt that Ms SH posted that Cynthia was wearing….there are people on HWNJ who have skeletons in their closet yet they point fingers. Its LOL. Its very telling that a few of them asked Andy before the series started if anyone had been audited after appearing on the show…..things that make you go hmmmmmm.

What you call a “could have” mentality, I call a “consider the consequences before you act” process–that’s what usually separates adolescent from mature adult behavior. Most of these “housewives” and their family lack impulse control, which is a terrible thing for them, but it makes for entertaining TV for us.
Although I prefer being real to hypocritical, this argument amuses me. I remember writing a student on a disciplinary referral, and the administrator bragged on the student because she was honest about what she did. I noticed a pattern of students being honest but continuing with poor behavior, and they would always say, “at least I was honest!” I finally told this administrator, of course the students are honest now; they are proud of their misbehavior..

Jac is not Teresa. Jac is more likely to hide under the covers. Teresa takes a deep breath and does what she has to do. I’m not even criticizing Jac. I just see their personalities that way. Also, I love Juicy. He is entertaining. Not too much else on this show is left that is entertaining.

No. I truly hope not. I just mean that she really isn’t very strong. She doesn’t have to superwoman. There is help out there for autism. New Jersey really has a lot of services for early intervention (see post below.) She doesn’t need to be an expert. She just needs to be in touch with the experts. If she can’t reach out for all the help available to her, then I hope other family members will.

Just a minor detail the two events were a week apart.
The Harvest Extravaganza on October 3 was the event for the Napolitano boy for cancer. That’s the one she failed to attend. So I don’t know why you’re bringing up the September 27 event.

I’d also like to point out my parady account Meho Whorga (now in twitter heaven forever) was suspended a while ago and 3 other subsequent accounts suspended within minutes of me posting to Jac, Rich, Kathy & MeHo. Pissants can’t handle the truth. Anyway I made my final MeHo account yesterday morning and low and behold within 10 mins of me posting to those f’tards listed above BOOM GONE TO TWITTER HEAVEN.

They can’t stand that the truth about them gets out on Twitter which is easier to access than the various blogs. It drives me insane when they all use the keep my twitter timeline free from negative show stuff, but they themselves tweet about it. If you make a comment on Twitter people will respond, that is Twitter 101. DUH.
As much as I dislike sone of the women on this show and wish they would do as they say and “just put everything behind them,” I also think creating fake twitter accounts is juvenile and malicious. Not sure I like the direction we are headed on the internet.
There is a difference between fake ( posing as the actually person) and parody. Meho Gorga is obviously a parody.
That is why Twitter verifies accounts. There are very deceptive people out there that are trying to pass themselves off as the actually person. They are created with the sole intention to deceive, that is reprehensible. Parody accounts are obviously not the actual person and are (usually) pretty damn funny.

Juicy’s driver’s delays are Juicy’s responsibilities, and no one else’s. Any responsible person would leave their home (with or without a driver) if they needed to show up in court with at least an hour to spare. Why did he cut it so close? If his “driver” didn’t show up to his house/mausoleum to pick him up on time, he should have called a taxi immediately.
I agree with real,part, the good and the bad, i think he is the only one who could care less about being on the show, Very different from JOeGOFAMEHO or Wakiletheperve. I don’t think he treats Teresa right, but that’s their business. I like he keeps his business to himself, he’s def old school Italian.
I think Tre is high maintenance. She had said she was “raising divas” and not tomboys. Also, Tre is always running late – and that is tough on a spouse who wants to be on time. I don’t think Joe likes Tre’s dresses with the deep plunging necklines or the high slit skirts. Most traditional men do not want their wives dressed like that in public. He has made comments about the clothes (in his own crude way). I think she needs to cool it.

First time posting here but long time reader. I didn’t know where to throw up this comment but here seems as good as anywhere. We just got a diagnosis for our 3 yr old son of Autism. It has been a really hard week. I won’t go on about the emotions behind it. For a moment I actually understood why it is Jac is obsessing over Teresa because a part of you really wants to escape mentally from all of the thoughts swirling in your mind about your child and the path ahead. I felt sympathy for her. And then I was brought back to reality quickly when I heard her swear on her son the is “autistic”. I thought that my head would explode! Why not swear on all of her kids if she was going to swear? Just on her autistic son? Really Jacqueline Laurita?! You had me fooled for a little bit this week. There are days that it is difficult to even say the word Autism much less refer to me son or LABEL him rather that way. That was a calculated move if I ever saw one. And by the way, from the perspective of someone who is out there searching for information as much as possible about Autism, I can tell you that there are not enough hours in the day to parent an autistic child and twitter all of the things that she does on the subject. It is just not possible. For anyone thinking that she is interested in helping others here, well I have a bridge to sell you.

Waiting eight months for insurance clearance while she gets plastic surgery, exposing her son two weeks before the reunion, swearing on her autistic son. She is researching and twittering all day long. It just does not all add up especially when you know how much around the clock those small children need. I hope someone is taking care of that poor child. And good luck to you also I hope everything turns out ok.

@housewife hoe I give a hearty “Puh-leeze” to Jacko’s definition of research! Lauren tried to pawn-off Jacko as an expert researcher when she took her to the meeting with the make-up company. I took note that when they were speaking of Jacko’s “research* at the table it consisted of Jacko reading the LABEL for the make-up. Well… research is a HUGE part of my job and I almost caused myself bodily injury from falling over laughing!
I know! Her idea of research is surfing the web. Um, experts are the ones with access to medical studies and know how to read the results. Just because something is posted on the web does not make it true or correct. I’m worried that parents with autistic children will take her suggestions as truth – like the whole BLK water story.
There is so much BS on the web, some of it innocuous, some of it downright dangerous. She isn’t going to find the cure for autism on the internet. That time she spends “researching” would be better spent with her kids.

What is the most diagnosed ( and some would say, over-diagnosed) condition today for children today? Autism. What is the easiest way to get people to cough up money without anyone questioning motives for fear of seeming heartless? A charity for sick children. I am not implying Dina’s motives are not suspect but, once that thought is put out there credibility is lost. And who knows, Dina is a Laurita. I asked her on Twitter once what the percentage of administrative costs are for her organization and she never answered_____danger Will Robinson_____The first thing I do is look up the admin cost of a charity and then I make my determination as to contribute and NEVER with a cash donation!!! I cannot find ANYTHING about the breakdown for Project Ladybug and I suspect Dina may have not wanted her Project Ladybug represented by Teresa on CA because she would have had to given that information as a form of “discovery” which is legalese for where the Hell does the money go! Dina probably encouraged Teresa to find her own charity so that she would not have to face the scrutiny. I don’t think Dina is making the kind of money off her pitiful little show to afford a month in the Hamptons like she did this Summer. Oh, I might add, when Jacko gave that interview she did not complain that Dina was skimming off the charity she was PISSED that Dina took over effectively cutting them out of the piece of that big pie KomaKathy is always talking about!

I know I’m not to only one who’s noticed that any time someone becomes a “celebrity,” one of the first things they do is set up a “charity,” even thought there might already be several legit and well-respected charities in that particular field. I’ve always suspected the majority of these are a total scam and for the reasons you’ve stated. Problem is, there are enough well-meaning simpletons out there that don’t research a charity before contributing to make this worth someone’s while.

When I get asked to donate for a charity, I come out and ask how much do you give to the cause… Simple question, if it is 90 or more, I give… If its lower I give nothing… You don’t need a party, get payed for your time, or a speakers time… Food and everything else that comes with scamming.. Hi CaraBelle, first of my sympathys to you and your family…I know what a hard thing it is for any parent going through such tough times and understanding it is even harder!!! My son was 9 years old and had a stroke! That took me outta reality for a looong time, I did everything I could to understand/fix and support HIM and the internet/twitter or anything else in life was not an option except my family….But I have to address that issue, “not enough hours in a day to parent an autistic child”….Jaqu stated that Nick is in some type of school for 6 hours a day and then in thereapy or something for 2 hours in the evening…Sooooo, where is her time to parent her autistic child??? Thats how she can spend so much time tweeting/internet/drinking/pills/housewives and pointing fingers at everyone else! Personally I don’t think that she wants to handle this issue….SAD!

The way I saw it Jac was trying to break the mood, as was teresa with her comment. The difference was they immediately jumped on Teresa. Jac really needs to tend to her family. How does she have time to slam Teresa all day or tweet things. Even being an autism spokesperson will take time away from her son. The character of people is determined when we face challenges and Jac needs to put the nonsense aside.
@ Jeanbean I can only speak for myself but, I cannot go from hysterical sobbing to cracking jokes in a split second. She was acting as though the doctor had just told her that her son had 5 minutes to live, NOT crying over a medical issue that she has been dealing with for a year! Not to discount the sadness and burden that comes with an autistic child but, for goodness sake! it is not a death sentence!!! CaraBelle – I’m sorry to hear about your son’s diagnosis. I know what you mean regarding your child’s future path. My son was diagnosed with epilepsy after having a grand mal seizure at his elementary school. All of a sudden I felt like his future was bleak and all the things I wished for him would be unattainable. I know that helpless feeling you are having. But, I know you’re a smart gal and you will educate yourself about autism and you will use all the resources available to you to help your child. My son is an adult now, is college educated and does very well for himself. I know epilepsy and autism are not really comparable, but my point is – don’t give up, your son will surprise you with all he can do.
OMG!Miles Feinstein is Juicey’s Attorney. LOL I knew Miles and his family 30y ago lovely wife and little girl. I can’t believe he is still in practice must be in his 70′s.The guy to go to.High priced but well worth it. Lot’s of affiliated Mob guy clients. I’m going back 30y when mentioning Miles.His daughter was in preschool and now probably has children of her own. Have not lived in the area for many years. Knew the Feinsteins socially. I believe his specialty is criminal law. Where very few attorneys actually practice one type of law I believe he was good enough to be able to specialize. He does have other attorneys working in his practice. Very respected by prosecutors and clients. The go to guy if you could afford him.

I think I would rather have someone stay home and tweet instead of coming to an event and pass a stomach bug, cold, flu, or other disgusting virus that will cause a bunch of people get sick. I have spent time at home on the computer in between dying from a stomach bug or trying to breath out of my nose or dealing with a horrible headache affected more by noise than lights.
But from what I read on this blog, the poor woman cannot do anything right. By the way, I am a master level social worker who has worked with developmental disabilities (autism) and a parent who has a child with autism is given so many resources from the professionals including books, blogs, websites, research journals and the most important resource outside the professional providing treatment plans for your child is other parents with children. Even if those parents offer suggestions that do no work for your child they offer something more important, support, caring, understanding of what you are going through.
Just as we cannot understand EXACTLY how it feels one when someone’s sister commits suicide and how the family responds to it, no one not even another parent can understand how a family feels, responds to, or deals with the autistic child. We can show compassion and empathy, but even in similar situations we cannot know EXACTLY how a parents feels and therefore responds to the situation.
I had a client who had two boys one (first born) with a very mild form of autism from his earliest development they knew something was different. The youngest boy was bright, articulate, engaging and then one day, he was a shell of himself. He lost all his abilities and connected with no one. The events that happened with the second son devastated them more than the diagnosis the first son received.

Understand this shaming never works and as a self professed professional you should understand this more than most. Posters on SH are in full possession of the facts. Jax admits waiting 8 months for a diagnosis and then it was by her MD. My experience (which is as valid as yours) is that these diagnosis are a result of an evaluation by a panel of specialists and is based on observation, testing and diagnostics. The test is somewhat age appropriate and usually requires at least one full day and sometimes two days of evaluation. Input from family members, daycare providers is part of the process.
So yes I have a problem with a single MD providing a diagnosis.
This is very personal to me and I cannot grasp why Jax did not consult a speech pathologist, a developmental pediatrician, a child psychologist when the child lost speech. The insurance excuse is 100 pure bullshite let me be abundantly clear about that. My dear one was in her mid twenties when dealing with this and with far fewer resources than Jax. Yet to many resources to qualify for any aid from the state they reside in. Everything was paid for out of pocket . 20,000 dollar a year private pre-school for children with developmental issues ? You bet! Private speech and OT? You bet. We are family and we want the best. Time to tweet? barely time to wash her hair, clean the house between running to therapy appts and actually playing with her child.. Time to FB? She and hubs both fall into bed exhausted because the focus is not on them and it will not be for years to come? New cars , cosmetic procedures and a McMansion? No. But we are happy to finally have a diagnosis and it is not a tragedy or drama to entertain others. It is our families story. So again I call Bull shite after living this for almost 4 years.These are bright beautiful children who should not ever have limitations placed on themor have their right to privacy violated. Children are snowflakes not labels.

May I put this in perspective. Children with developmental delays often benefit from a casein free, gluten free diet that requires hours to shop for and prepare. It is also important to actually determine the allergies by actually taking them to an allergy clinic for a battery of tests including scraping and freezing the child’s poop to be tested over a 3 month period. Not to be gross but it is what it is. Not all therapists are created equal. It is important for the parent to evaluate and monitor all therapies ABA, speech and OT to ensure that your child is making progress. Progress reports are daily not weekly and usually contain recommendations for tasks, play activities, games and homework to re-enforce the ongoing therapy that is being conducted. It requires 100 % percent parental commitment and focus to be successful. There are playgroups for children on the autism spectrum as well as support groups online and in person to offer compassion as well as respect and privacy. Jax tweeting does nothing to further the cause. This is a very complex diagnosis and tweeting demeans all the hard work , effort and research that are bringing genuine hope and solutions. I’m sorry if I have caused offense but I zero respect for any idiot who thinks tweeting accomplishes jack crap but only takes much needed time and emotional energy away from the child. There are genuine online forums for information and support which at least allow for some kind of checks and balances on what is being put out there.

I’m curious…has Jac EVER described if they went through any of the procedures / testing you have described Ain’t ? Other than saying it took 8 months, she “researches” all the time, blah, blah. I don’t recall her ever going into any of the specifics of the challenge of getting the correct diagnosis , where in the spectrum Nick falls, the time required and specifically what has to changed in HER routine to accommodate his needs, etc. As you have mentioned, who the hell has the amount of free time she seems to have when supposedly dealing with this situation , not to mention she has another small child to deal with at home.

I hope I’m wrong about not buying this whole story that jac is pushing. If it is true, I feel sorry for that child as she will be no help whatsoever to his health with her “priorities” being what they are.
My youngest d was 23 and on scholarship to very prestigious Law School, ambitious, driven. and married a short time when she found out she was pregnant She is devoted to her child and never considers it a sacrifice or would have it any other way. Our grandchild is outgoing, very sunny disposition and it is all down to her. Her ambition is now channeled into ensuring that this child has every opportunity, every chance to re mediate She will not expose him to social media but encourages us to share as long as we respect their privacy. Little Miss stubborn would never just pack him off to therapy, she has changed speech therapists 3 times to make sure as he progresses his needs are fully met. On second OT because the 1st would let him take over the therapy session (he can charm the birds out of the trees) so they switched to someone who is more strict but still fun. The first pre-school was fun for him but he was not progressing , more research and excellent pre-school. now. She plays with him and works with him every minute when he is with her. they cook together, bake together , paint together. They could not diagnose our child in the beginning. Finally diagnosed last month and while it is hard it is also a relief to know. We have expecttations that **** will re mediate.It was a harrowing journey at times.People tend to dismiss her because she so young and still looks like the stereotypical sorority girl. LOL. She is a damn bull dog. She has fought so hard to find the right solutions .I will admit it takes a lot out of her but she never gives up and always finds away. jax is tweeting about things that were discovered 5-8 years ago. Color me disgusted because Jax is trying to be an expert so someone will pay her to tweet about autism, related products anything …..Kind of trying to be the Kim Kardashian of the autism world shilling products. Again I hope I did not over share but I have watched my loved ones go through every stage of the journey and Jax IMO is not even on the path. She speaks in generic terms and their isn’t much about autism that is generic or that is applicable to every child with a spectrum diagnosis.
Oh! Ain’t, I commend you for your candor and your daughter for her strength. I have a near relative that has severe Down’s Syndrome and haven’t referred to her as to not confuse others of any correlation to Autism. That being said; I completely understand the struggles of those that do put all their energies into a loved one with disabilities. It is a long, difficult road that can be at times both a trying and lonely place to find yourself. Much love and many prayer to all SH readers that are struggling with the excessive demands of a loved ones illness, whatever they may be.

Thanks for letting me spout. Witnessing advocacy and watching Jax with all her twittering disgusts me more than you can imagine. God gave us a huge blessing , unexpected but still one of the sweetest , most life altering changes. Sometimes I think we all need a reality check about what genuinely matters and this is ours. I cannot imagine having any other grandchild. We are all caught up in this crazy love affair with a child who may have challenges but is 100 percent joy every day.

Daughter has always been amazing. Her gymnastics coach nicknamed her “The Golden Child” because everything came so easily, school, sports, boys, then college, scholarships, men . My favorite story tho was the Mom of a special needs student called me out of the blue and wanted to know if her son could come over and say goodbye because they were moving out of the district and he always claimed my daughter was his girlfriend.. She told me the day my daughter got her brand new car she went by their house and picked him up so he could have the first ride in it to the High School. She said it made her son’s year, riding to school with the prettiest cheerleader She also relayed the story that my daughter would always come by the Special Ed class and ask him to walk her to her locker. He was so proud because he was her “boyfriend”. I was shocked, my daughter mentioned picking him up but none of the rest. I was never so proud in my life. She looked past the disability to the real person.Sorry if I came off as bragging mom. But now maybe you understand.
Aint, you have every right to be proud of your daughter. She is working tirelessly to save her child and sounds like an amazing young woman.

OMG I would be furious if she did that. Autism is such an enigma. Parents are so desperate. They don’t know what causes it or how to cure it. Early intervention is the way to go. Some programs in classroom settings are being started for children who are two. Teachers and experts will come to your home. Basic stuff like looking you in the eye and learning the difference between “him and her”. These things are so hard for an autistic child. Speech therapy. This is the way to go. I wish there was a miracle cure. There just isn’t.
Alarms when off in my head when I read the BLK/Autism connection and I wondered if their child really is Autistic at all. Are we going to see that he’s been “cured” by some of the traditional therapies (must have some cover) AND BLK? If that’s the case, they should all go to jail, do not pass go, do not collect $200.
Caroline’s “thick as THEIVES” line couldn’t have been more appropriate to describe this family.
@irisheyzzzz There is no diagnostic testing for Autism. Don’t take my word for it; go to the government website of the Center for Disease Control (CDC). It is all based on observation. Anecdotal observations of the primary caretakers of that child. For a child as young as Nicholas who is with a SAHM, not enrolled in daycare or pre-school, that burden would fall on the observations of Jacko. Jacko has made different assertions as to why they waited to make the announcement of Nickolas’ diagnoses including, but not limited to: insurance issues ( I would skip a Botox treatment,or two to pay out of pocket but, that’s me.) outside interference of the public (???) and having to go to 3 different doctors.
My assumption is that there are slivers of truth in all three of these assertions.
1) They may have had their insurance deny their claims after multiple physicians were consulted with no discovery forthcoming.
2) They did not want to expose until they found a complicate physician.
3) They searched until the COULD find a physician willing to back their assertions that Nicholas’ was development was regressing.
The most believable lies have some element of truth; it is all in how you spin it…and as we all have observed of these sub-humans,that is their forte.

You may want to check your facts about how a diagnosis for autism is received. It is more than a parents’ word. It is far more involved than that since it is in the DSM IV and a patient with an autism diagnosis is considered disabled and is a life-long diagnosis. The symptoms of autism may change in severity but one is never cured from autism. A child can talk at times, saying real words. However, it does not mean that the words match up with what the child is doing, wanting, or intending to say. What Caroline and Jacqueline were crying about is that Nick no longer says I LOVE YOU to his mom. It is because he lost his ability to connect emotionally or socially with anyone else. Autistic children can talk and identify objects, they are not lying because they said he couldn’t talk, they meant he couldn’t relate to his mother or feel emotions normally felt between mother and child.
Give the autism criticism a break here. You are only showing how ignorant you are on the subject and how dare you judge Jacqueline because you are judging every parent with a child with an autism diagnosis that is devastated and proud of their child at the same time. You celebrate any and all progress your child makes and die daily when the child regresses. SHAME ON YOU ALL!

Sophia, Jaqualine’s behavior is unlike any I’ve ever seen from a mother with a special needs child. Never have I seen such a mother spend so much of her time away from her child and on things unrelated to helping her child.

The constant twittering about autism as if she is the go to specialist ever is so annoying. It’s obnoxious in my opinion, it just doesn’t feel right to me. Now I’m not saying at all that she doesn’t have a right to do whatever it takes to help her son, but her twits have a certain air of, I can’t put my finger on it but I do think she’s really enjoying her new role/platform at the expense of her son. She has a long road ahead of her, it’s too bad for her son (from what I was able to on twitter before I was blocked) she spends so much time on twitter instead of all that time with her son/family. The difference is the Lauritas * commited fraud. The Giudices should have incorporated, but didn’t. Joe and Teresa personally guaranteed business loans. When the real estate bubble burst, they became personally liable for the loans. The Giudices have withdrawn their bankruptcies, and Teresa is busting her ass to repay their creditors. The Lauritas on the other hand, * used company money that was not their personal money to fund their opulent lifestyle instead of paying company debts. What the Giudices did was dumb, not illegal. What the Lauritas * did is fraud.

I must disagree. The majority of Teresa and Juicy’s debt was from real-estate investments; upside down mortgages on said investments. They are flippers ( purchase dilapidated properties, refurbish, sell) and the market fell out in 2007. Real-estate in New Jersey has a deprecation rate of nearly 50%. So, anything purchased prior to 2007 has lost nearly HALF it’s value, therefore leaving Teresa and Juicy with a “product” that they intended to sell that is now not worth half of what they purchased for, if in fact they could even sell it in the stagnant market. They have withdrawn their bankruptcy claim and have been paying off their creditors and have been able to sell some of their properties at a very reduced rate to satisfy the dept they incurred when they purchased the properties. They did have personal dept but, that personal dept was based on a prior level of earnings that had been reduced by half. How would you be able to manage your household debts if one day your company decided to reduce your pay by 50%? Is this starting to make sense now, can you understand the parable?
What Jacko and Chris did was purchase something, sold it, made a profit and chose not to pay those merchants that provided the product. That is equivalent to going to the store and paying for your purchase with a check. You know you have enough money in your account to cover the purchase but you then decide to spend that money on a different purchase. You have now *willfully* chosen to ignore your dept to the first store you patronized. MUCH more insidious; and criminal.
BubbaJax makes me sick the way she is so smug about her bankruptcy as compared to Teresa’s bankruptcy. She keeps saying how it is a business, rather than personal bankruptcy and that they didn’t file, but the company was forced into bankruptcy. She actually seems to think that her financial shenanigans are less egregious than the Giudice’s when in fact, hers is far, far worse. I hope she goes to prison behind her shady financial dealings. 4 yrs ago i did bankruptcy I got in a tight spot and overspents as well I learned my lesson downsized cut out luxerys and even paid off some of my debt that was charged off in the bankruptcy. Like I said I dont care who declares what JUST DONT LIE AND CHEAT when you do It makes it harder for those who obey the law.

Yes there certainly is a big difference between Chapter 7 and Chapter 13. I happen to be paying back A Chapter 13 note of over $55,000 to a Standing Chapter 13 trustee in the amount of $900 a month for 5 years that my daughter and son in law ran up. This saves their home.
She probably owes more on the house than it’s worth. If she sold it, that would be one more debt she still had and would still have to pay for somewhere else to live.
The Laurita’s business went into bankruptcy because they were taking money from the company and using it for personal expenses, rather than paying the creditors. I understand that BubbaJax is factually correct in her statement about her bankruptcy being different from Teresa’s. I would add that they used the Signature funds to purchase personal cars, take personal vacations, misuse a corporate Visa account for personal use, etc. No different than the bookkeeper taking petty cash and buying her lunch and train ticket with it. However, the scale is huge. $7.8 MILLION converted from company fund to personal funds (5 Lauritas involved).

When Teresa first came to Jacko’s that night she went to place the purse on a chair next to the table but remembered it was given/loaned to her to be seen, she remembered this quickly and then placed it on the table for better viewing. Teresa was a buyer for Macy’s, she knows how the game is played. The best, cheapest form of advertising is loaning/giving your product to someone who can give you exposure, much more cost effective than spending tens of thousand on advertising that would give you equal or even less exposure. Do oyu really think they ask everyone walking the red carpet what they are wearing because we want to know as though we are going to run out and buy that dress or suit? Of course not, we couldn’t afford those dresses and suits without taking second mortgages on our homes! What we can afford is the designers Ready to wear apparel, not their couture and we feel like rich famous people if we are wearing the same designer. The joke is on us though, we’re just wearing the cheap crap they put out for the common man, not the exquisitely crafted and hand-made fair that the public figure is wearing. It is all an exchange but, not of money; it is goods in exchange for exposure of that company and is very common place for those in the limelight.

I did see their bankruptcy papers as did a whole bunch other people including the 11,000 she owed Nordstroms and the thousand they owned a fertilty clinic. We saw her spend 10, of thousand on furnature and we all saw the crap in their house they bought and how their house was built and furnished. I am not basing anything on conjecture but what court documents I read. No one has to tell me anything I have 2 eyes and I know how to read.
@ Lisa I am not denying they had dept, they did. Debt based on an income that had been cut in half and deeply affected by the economy. They had tenants unable to pay their rents which made the Guidices unable to pay the utility bills. That in and of itself does not make them slumlords. There are laws in place, especially in New Jersey,which are much stricter than most states, in regards to building codes. There are no charges of violations of those codes which means the properties are kept up to the codes that are put in place to protect tenants from “slumlords” I know this because I sit on our States UCC-RAC Board and am considered an expert on such matters.
Actually Adios It really not that they declared bankruptcy If I hated them for that Id have to hate myself. Its The lying and the Fraud they tried to get away with. They pulled their bankruptcy for a reason and its not because they decided to do the right thing and pay their debts. Bankruptcy is a tool you are suppose to learn from it and down size. So many people lost jobs, income and have watched their bank balance plummet. My in-laws were in real estate and while it has it’s ups and downs no one was prepared for the free fall. The real estate market fell off the cliff. Not excusing Juicy and Tre but many, many people have filed bankruptcy. At this point many creditors are probably satisfied to settle the debt for a reduced amount. They are paying back and really did not drag it out as long as they could have. The Lauritas basically stripped Signature Apparel of it’s assets. They are equally shady and IMO much worse. Jax and Chris have made so many ugly comments, snarky comments, gossiped about their friends finances. Yet they get a pass. they manage to deflect and while the Guidices were ripped to shreds in the rag mags, blogs, online gossip sites the Lauritas got a huge free pass.
Like I said Bankruptcy is a tool to help people who fall on bad times, I have no issues with people who use it. Its the Fraud and lying I do not like. I think The Lauritas got a free pass because the proceedings where secret, not much was known I had no clue until i saw it here. I think once it gets out what they did people wont be so forgiving.

actually they are not paying EVERYONE back Juicy has lost more property due to foreclosure which means they are not paying everything, He lost 2 more building over the summer, I am glad she is paying what she can however.
With the real estate market the way it is now many homes and building are going to foreclosure simple because the bank are unwilling to work on a short sale of other avenues. The properties are just not worth as much as they once were so unless the bank is willing to do a short sale there is no way to sell them. For a while the banks were willing to work with everyone but this year it seems they are just wanting to foreclose. It is a shame since banks were given money from the feds to make the short sales work.

I don’t think Tre feels the need to do the gotcha thing that’s become so common with these gals. If you notice , the more money trouble & marriage trouble, the more some of the Hw ladies try to find something on one of the other cast members. & it’s not just HWJ (remember Tamara & her hate of Gretchen during her last “stressful” year with Simon). That’s one of the reasons I like Tre. She has her problems but she does seem to be more of a real human being. I think she has a fullier life then any of them & is just more of a solid person & actually happy in her life.
I am convinced the Casters of these reality shows read the bankruptcy notices and thats how they get there ideas on who to cast.
Like I have wrote before; I think BubbaJax is wishy/washy; she’s always on the fence, no confidence, never take control, a weak person; this is why her daughter walked all over her; and her crying spells; that gets old. If Nicholas actually was autistic he would be screaming non stop from all of the lights, crew, noise, etc. Too much stimulation for most non-autistic folks, and a little boy his age with little vocabulary to begin with would really freak out if he were autistic.
Please educate yourself. There is a spectrum for autism because every individual with it is different, with different signs/symptoms. My friends autistic son didn’t develop any sensory sensitivities until he was 8 years old. It’s entertaining to read all of these conspiracy theories on here by people who act as though they are all close and personal friends with these women.

When I first read Albie’s tweet about the mother who said her son improved after drinking black water, so he sent her two cases, I thought that was a lie. That was like a week or two before the People article about Nicholas having autism appeared and I thought, Oh my God, these people are crazy, who is going to believe this. I think Teresa seemed shocked to hear he wasn’t speaking anymore, and also said Jaq did not seem all that worried about Nick, back when they were close friends. I don’t think she was being mean, she legit looked surprised that it was that bad. The capper for me was the fake tears especially from Caroline, with the” he will speak again” promise. That’s a good point about the lights & noise regarding Jax’s son. I can’t imagine it would be good for him. I know Joe(daJuice) has made his share of mistakes , including getting busted for a DUI which is serious , but I’ve known some really sweet people who have that in their histroy as well. It’s totally wrong (goes w/o saying) but I don’t think he’s the devil. I think he’s not a concerned with the silliness , as long as Tre isn’t stressing. It’s funny you can almost see him trying to figure out why Tre cared (about the name calling & finger pointing) in the beginning. I suspect some of the way he talks is just a bad habit thing or ( sometimes) based on drinking. Not to defend him, especially if he isn’t faithful. Okay….just completed reading the judges opinion. Here is the breakdown:
Juciy had a business partner, a Mr. Mastropole. It appears by all accounts that Mr. Mastropole would provide the financial means, e.g. cash/established credit/some type of equity, to acquire properties and Juicy would perform the rehab and they would share in the profits.
In June 2007, when Mr Mastropole he and Juicy had a business divorce in which Juicy would pay him $560,000.00 as a divorce type settlement, releasing Mr Mastopole from a mortgage lein on a property on Webster Street of which Juicy immediately paid out $300,000.00. with the rest to be satisfied by Dec. 2007.
The very next day ( Oh, Juicy, I wish you had talked to me) Juicy tried to do a re-modification on a loan for one of the buildings he and Mr. Mastropole were partners in order to refurbish the building, being that refurbishing and selling the property would be the only means of repaying Mr Mastropole. Mr. Mastropole maintains that doing so was never agreed upon in order for Juicy to discharge the rest of his dept settlement to Mr. Mastopole.
I will spare you anymore legalese and cut to the chase.
Mr Mastopole knew that properties were being foreclosed upon and BK proceedings
were more than eminent for Juicy. Juicy had a dept to him that he feared would not be payed because it was included in their bankrupcty petition. He also took note to what he construed was lavish spending on their part from what he was witnessing on RHONJ. He became enraged. Not unlike the viewers that do not understand the machinations of how the loaning of expensive clothes, shoes, services (think parties and party planners providing services for exposure, Poshe, and Bravo picking up some tabs themselves to continue the facade of lavish lifestyles) The supposedly lavish spending, the trip for 3 families to Italy ( portrayed as Juicy and Teresa treating their friends to this flamboyant trip but, in actuality, the cruise line footing the bill, again for promotional consideration) and figured Juicy was ripping through the rehab money on all this and not the refurb hence Mr Martopolis would be out the additional $260,000.00 being that dept was included in their petition of BK.
Mr. Mastropolis claimed that Juicy committed fraud by signing Mr. Mastropolis’ name to the remod loan and he should not be liable for any of that debt and that he (Mr, Matropolis) had never agreed that a remod loan for purposes of refurbishing the building in order for it to be sold was part of the deal.
It seems to me, but was unable to be proven nor disproved in court, (Juicy did himself no favors with his surly FU attitude in court, Oh, Juicy!) that this was their regular method of operation but no one was willing to say that was in fact how they had always done so. That Juicy had signed for Mr. Matropolis before on business papers, that the notary had notarized papers with knowledge that Juicy signed both signatures but, without proof and this time, the only time in question, everyone sold Juicy down the river without a paddle and since the judge didn’t like Juicy’s unsophisticated manor, he ruled in favor of Mr Maropolis.
Monica Chacon, the wife of the attorney for Mr Maropolis for this fraud case, is whom Teresa had a blow out with outside the court house.
Granted, the business practices that they performed under were not ideal and certainly not within the law but, when the shit came down Juicy was the only one telling the seemingly true story. Juicy isn’t a business man, he builds houses. These people knew that and were able to railroad over him when it suited their purposes.
And now we all can understand how Juicy probably has a burning love/hate for Bravo…it destroyed him as well as gave his wife the means to get out of their hole.

I do agree had they not been on the show no one would have heard a things about this most likely. However Like I said earlier The Guidices were most likely in trouble well before the comping and the show came along, Not all there possessions were handed to them They did their share of living beyond their means.
Also thre were allegations that both Guidices lied under oath in Federal court separate from the business partner forging thing.. They pulled their bankruptcy for a reason it had little chance of being approved.

Maybe because the thought of someone making a false claim that there child is autistic is beyond my comprehension, but I think Nicholas is indeed autistic. Looking at certain photos of him, there is no doubt in my mind. Sadly, I believe Jax believes that he can be “cured” and the reason for the delay in diagnosis was simply denial by the family.
Why in the world would someone who is on national TV make a false claim about their child’s autism? If it was false, why wait to bring it out in the open? People are crazy in how they think. Autism is not a sickness, it’s a developmental disorder. I don’t think Jaq believes he will be “cured” because I’m sure she’s talked to enough doctors and done enough research to know there is no cure for Autism. That boy clearly regressed and they looked into it and found their diagnosis. Now, they are doing the right thing with therapy to improve his skills and development. He was at the exact age when most children are diagnosed because it’s hard to recognize symptoms in a child that hasn’t started speaking yet, etc.

Sparklie, there is no cure only remediation. You cannot tell by a photo if a child is autistic. Nic has an excellent chance of remediation. 30 years ago my daughter would have been diagnosed as on the spectrum. She had only a tiny amount of speech until age 5 and other issues. Now she is a PHD candidate who speaks 4 languages. It is not a death sentence. It requires patience, love , dedication and advocacy. New research is providing genuine answers and better therapies.
I understand you cant tell by a photo if a child is autistic but autistic children have certain characteristics such as no eye contact, disengagement which I see in certain photos of Nicholas. I only bring it up because that is all we have to form an opinion of whether Jax is faking it, and I do not believe she is. If he does get all the services she claims on Twitter, special ed pre school plus ABA for two hours when he gets home, his case is beyond “mild”. The state and the special ed schools are not going to provide services to a child who does not need it. It just doesn’t work that way. Just to clarify. I do understand that there are varying degrees of autism on the “spectrum” from severe retardation to very high I.Q.

If someone takes a pic of you with a cell phone u can look like a train wreck while a professional photog can make you look like a supermodel. No offence-but pix of Nicholas have no relationship to whether he is Autistic or not. I am with the large group of people who believe that Nicholas “allegedly” has Fetal Alcohol Syndrome. Before you respond-do some research on the 2 syndromes. And every person on this blog would cut their right hand off if they didn’t have health insurance to help their sick child. Why didn’t they have health insurance? But who the F cares-pay out of pocket. Doctors accept payment agreements as do hospitals. This is such a con game. I don’t know enough about the two syndromes to comment on that part of your post, but must say I agree with you about the insurance. That bothers me. Chris and Jac had two little children that she gave birth to recently. You would think (logically) that she had iinsurance when she gave birth, so what happened in the meantime. Everyone is aware how necessary medical insurance is and anyone with an ounce of sense would forgo some other expense to pay for it.
And, yes, I would pay out of pocket as well. Oh, and all my doctors, including Shands Teaching Hospital, ALL accept credit cards. They may have been waiting to get insurance before he was diagnosed so that it wouldn’t be a pre-existing condition that wouldn’t be covered, but if that was their plan they wouldn’t be advertising this all over the internet. I don’t know if there’s anything illegal in doing it the way they did, but it is certainly circumspect. But if one of my children began to regress I couldn’t wait. Something like that could be a brain tumor, stroke, trauma….who knows all the things that could cause regression.
