The finale. . .finally!
I must start with a huge thank you to Bravo for giving me this extraordinary opportunity to have such a tremendous platform to reach others. You have allowed me to connect in such a personal and meaningful way with amputees and physically challenged people who found inspiration in the day-to-day life of a middle-aged, nutty housewife doing her thing. Thank you, Bravo, for giving voice to the struggles and triumphs of amputees and for helping so many of us.
Viewers, I am deeply grateful to you for watching! Thank you for your love, laughter, tears, and anger. You are all amazing, and I appreciate all your comments good and bad, hopeful and harsh, constructive and castigating. I promise, I am listening and learning.
There is so much coming up on the reunion that I will hold off on writing much more until then. However, I just want to thank Heather again for asking me to participate in her event for the Kellner Foundation. Heather’s passion for helping children like her son, Jax, is inspiring, and I am honored to support this organization’s important work.
I am further honored to have been able to work this season with such an extraordinary ensemble of women. I have learned a great deal from my fellow ‘Wives, as well as the amazing viewers who have let us into their lives. Thank you Carole, LuAnn, Ramona, Heather, and Sonja – you are all intelligent, capable and beautiful women, and I have appreciated every minute of this experience with you.

You have presented yourself as a woman who is ashamed of her limb, not one who is proud and confident in her own skin. When you said you “just don’t feel that pretty” when your prostetic leg is exposed, you not only insulted yourself, but everyone in the world who has something different about their appearance. You are a shallow, petty, nasty human being and you should not present yourself as a role model to anyone.

For all the reasons you mentioned and for the fact that PT just cannot stop talking about her “phobias” and “anxieties” related to her accident. She is far from a role model. She is the *don’t* example for what to be like as an adult woman dealing with a missing limb. Aviva is a mess. She should not be a spokeswoman for anything.
And did you also notice, during this last episode, that PT and George refuse to pronounce Mario’s name correctly?

Totally. It’s the same kind of creepy. I just can’t look at either of them. I just googled pics of Aviva and it seems one eye is worse than the other – huge white area between iris and nose side. I’m eating and I feel sick.
I have been told this too from grandparent-lore: seeing the whites of someone’s eyes (between their iris & lower lid) means that person should be avoided, not trusted.
I still like Aviva and I’m sticking to it! I think she got a bad wrap and it was undeserved. “Romonya” (who I usually like) were out of control and mean during most of this season, and they did act trashy, immature and entitled (in my humble opinion). Also, thankfully, I did not see those horrible and insensitive posts by someone name Truth, but sometimes I have found that comments on here get way too dark and way to mean. It’s bad enough that I watch these silly shows, and now even comment on them, so for me it is usually fun to listen to other people’s opinion’s, too. And even when I don’t agree, I can still appreciate someone else’s perspective. But only when they are kept light hearted and sarcastic. (like the name of this website). There is a difference between being silly and semi catty and going to far. I just hope this site stays light. And out of respect for Ms SH, especially this week.

The comment that was deleted wasn’t directed at Aviva. It was made by one of her “supporters” and referenced SH’s personal tragedy. She (Aviva) has brought a nasty element to this site, not the usual commenters who are witty and wonderful.

Aviva was definitely the most fascinating to watch, with all her phobias and quirks, totally obsessed with herself and SO sure that everyone else spends all their time thinking about how they can cheer her on and encourage her and make her life better. ‘Cuz life is hard when you are a tall thin successful blond with a beautiful family, nice place to live, every educational opportunity, and are on a TV show. It sounds just awful. How can i help her and make life easier and better for her?
That got old REAL quick. She requires alot of attention, and i think she got blindsided by her castmates because they weren’t constantly making sure she was okay, or showing gratitude for her efforts to do normal things like be in a tall building (like when they were in Miami). I think she is used to being fussed over, and when that didn’t happen it angered her. Exhausting!!!

Remember in St. Barth’s they were laying in the sun and Carole needed to get up and do something, but she was afraid to leave Aviva alone? Even though she saw with her own eyes Aviva eavesdropping on a conversation between Carole, Ramona & Sonja in their room, march right in and attack everyone. Although Carole was pretty clueless when she made the dinner arrangements for the two couples after everything that went down.
