CAROLINE MANZO: “BlackWaterNovelty”…

September 28, 2012  9:30 am

  Which would YOU rather drink???

Prevention Magazine takes on the “truth behind bottled water claims”…. and they included da Manzoids black water sludge in their review:

“Blk. Spring Water—we promise that’s not a typo—is a “proprietary fulvic and humic acid electrolyte drink, or a natural organic complex blend of over 77 macro and micro trace minerals and electrolytes.” Huh?”

*****************************

Speaking of the black stuff, a “15-yr-old” wrote his allergic experience after sampling black water at a community center… better than his “experience” was one of the replies!

“OMG go to the ER and tell them exactly what you wrote. This company is probably some fake gov testing on civilians. I wouldnt doubt it. Even if its not its messed up.—-Just went to the website this stuff isnt even for sale yet!!! I wonder why. Anything that turns water black doesn’t sound good. I wouldnt drink it.
p.s. when they say it is derived from plant matter they fail to say it is also a derivative of decayed animal matter as well. I wouldnt trust anything that is from a 70 million year old source within the earth that is from decayed plant and animal matter….that sounds similar to oil that we use in our cars. Who knows what kind of old germ, bacteria, parasitic crap is down there in the decay and whatever lives off of it…”

(Thanks to SH readers “GLH” “duffy” and “milania”!!!)

About Stoopid Housewives

The Real Housewives franchises have become a guilty pleasure for me and I've become intrigued by 'normal' people who would agree to put their lives on television for public display and scrutiny. What are their motives to divulge their daily routines for viewing audiences to approve, reprimand, berate, castigate, attack; basically abuse and judge? Oh, just forget about the above nonsense... the majority of these people are just stoo-pid.

No wonder the manzoids are so crazy! Lol

  2. housewife hoe says:

This shows you what morons these Manzos are…of all the company’s they could back and invest in, this is what they chose? Black water??

    • kh says:

It was the only idea they could steal for free from a trade show they went to with Chris and Jax.

      kh

      • Buck Henry says:

That essentially what happened. He saw them and thought they where an easy mark, but he didn’t know that they where running their own scam on the Canadian ones that brought the women in to help promote this product for them. Chris ended up in litigation with Canadian firm.

  3. donnalee says:

Yikes!!! Glad I never intended to try that stuff..might as well just go buy a laxative..SHEEESH!!!

    • donnalee says:

Ooops clicked too fast…according to Prevention that water is as FAKE as those who are trying to get rich off of it..can we just say *karma* maybe???

  4. pjbottoms says:

BLK: Thirst quenching decaying animal matter…they should have named it SH*T

    • Ana Cephaly says:

Black water is the term used for raw sewage in waste water treatment Just sayin’……

      • HaLaLa says:

The Manzos score another retail disaster LOL..I would never even volunteer to drink a sample of that crap.

      • taco tuesday says:

That’s right! Forgot about that! And ‘gray water’ is the water that comes from showers/laundry/dishwashers. Good lord the Manzos are STOOPID!

  5. MJM says:

Found some brown water in a public toilet. I’m calling it brn. Found 2 others in adjacent stalls & calling them red. and ylw. Anyone want to invest?

  6. meowalert says:

First off it is frightening that a 15 year old would seek help for an allergic reaction through a Q + A forum on the Internet considering the consequences of waiting for a qualified response. Secondly, I have no interest in being a guinea pig for any product which touts revolutionary health benefits. Too new to know the long term effects, too risky. *also: hasn’t Mother Nature proven herself clever enough to provide a life sustaining food chain on her vast surface? If something has been buried beneath the earth for 70 million years…maybe that’s for good reason.

  7. Lucy94 says:

Has anyone actually seen the Manzos drink this sludge? They wear the shirts, carry the bottles around while jogging, use its product placement in different scenes, but has anyone ever seen any of them put it to their mouths and chug it?

  8. Vicki Lou Who says:

Aside from the constant lapband therapy, the fact that they would invest in this product shows how much the Manzo family is into health and fitness. No health nut would consume a water that is black. Nothing could make an inherently healthy and necessary product (water) seem more unhealthy than making it black. Perhaps they should have gone the unhealthy route with Kathy. Stick with what you know Manzos! Coming soon, the lap-banzo!! The only lapband on the market that will stand up to $16 spaghetti sauce and sludgy water!!

  9. Antonella says:

Well let me run right out and buy this wonderful product. NOT! I wonder if the Brownstone carries it. I’m asking!

  10. Lisa1844 says:

That stuff looks absolutely disgusting. To me, it shows the business sense, or lack there of, of Chris Laurita and the Manzos.

  11. Parkview says:

Just wondering what the future holds for blk since the manzo boys are doing the restaurant thing now. I dont really think they are actually going to have to work there…but it has to effect their ability to run around in vans with the other jobless boys. “Partnering” can mean lots of things in the business world. Their involvement could be as little as making appearances, advertising…Im thinking thats the extent of it. If thats the case, chuck shouldnt be so over the moon about them “opening their own restaurant”. If its more than appearances, etc, that looks grim for blk. All of this doesnt really matter anyway because whichever way it goes, I think the bankruptcy court is going to be stuck with the Lauritas basement full of blk anyway.

    • meowalert says:

Must admit- curious too. The Little Town restaurants in NY have been popular and successful + locally sourced menus are trendy.. Guessing the owners didn’t need the extra funds to open this new one in NJ so the Zo Bros might be just a publicity hook. It will have a big opening but Hoboken’s a restaurant heavy town so who knows if it will last.

  12. paula2 says:

I’m smiling while I think about how much the greater Laurita/Manzo families invested into this scam.

  13. there have been studies that show that babies won’t eat blue foods…..I don’ t need a study to steer clear of sludge….I’m guessing we have an inate aversion for a reason

  14. Bryn says:

The way Chris spoke about blk, they invested every dime they had. Not sure if other’s (besides Manzos) invested, but their all going to loose any monies that they put into this stupid product.

  15. MyThreeSphynxs says:

I swear I am telling the truth and if I am lying about this may a pallet full of BLK water fall on my head. Anyway, here goes.

I saw BLK water in the grocery store yesterday. First time I have ever seen it anywhere. Last night I had a nightmare about the stuff. I drank some and I had to go to the ER and the doctor told me that the stuff that is in it is poison.

I swear to you that is true. Next time I go to the grocery store I am going to skip that aisle.

    • MyThree: You’ve made an amazing recovery!! LOL!! TFC!!! SH

    • InHWFan says:

Maybe JoGo is in on the production of it?

      • MyThreeSphynxs says:

Oh, geez. Now I know what tonight’s nightmare will be. Later on I’m headed to Starbucks for a couple of gallons of high test coffee so I don’t fall asleep.

        • InHWFan says:

My apologies. I just can’t help it…everytime I see the word “poison,” I think of that little troll.

Oh…so, best idea ever…do you remember Mr. Yuk? I move that we petition to have JoGo’s face put on the sticker and he can be the new Mr. Yuk.

          http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mr._Yuk

          • Marcia H. Ribera says:

yes, just as I haven’t had a tuna salad sandwich since that disgusting pig, Rich who shd be ashamed of himself for his kids’ morals, made that statement, which I can’t to this day understand how Kathy lets him touch her, or how the Bravo editor let it pass the “diary room”. Those parents everybody says are so lovely have shown their true colors.

  16. forblogs says:

Fulvic aka Humic Acid is used as a “soil supplement” (you mean like a fertilizer?) It is not an essential amino acid needed by the body. Pure fulvic acid is a bright amber colour. A marijuana farmer said that Blk Water really helped grow his crops.

    • LifeIsGood says:

Fulvic acid works by allowing your cells to better absorb trace minerals. This is what makes it dangerous. If you consume it along with anything containing chlorine or fluoride (most municipal water sources contain both), the fulvic acid primes your cells to better absorb these carcinogenic substances. They recently changed bottlers and the label, excluding the “spring water.” You’re probably drinking minimally purified tap water.

  17. DDisher says:

When I first saw a bottle of blk water I was just amazed at the sheer stupidity of anyone who would invest in such a vile product. How could you ever think it was cool and would sell? The lower case blk is reminiscent of teenage text speak. The whole thing is so embarassingly shitty, I can’t believe the Manzo’s and Laurita’s are still involved with this sludge. It makes me feel good about my judgements of them. They are flat out morons.

  18. This crap is a law suit waiting to happen. They don’t care and the fools who drool over them deserve to shit their pants. LOL :-) Time for the FDA to close them down before they kill someone with their advertising, especially AUTISTIC CHILDREN,

  19. lilygirl85 says:

What’s the status with BLK anyway? Have those idiots made any $$ off it?

  20. ccmmaahh says:

Supposedly Caro said on twitter that her and Al opened the restaurant then said congrats tobher sons. She always embarrasses them.

  21. Jan says:

Caroline is sooooo proud of her boys success …now that’s a joke. They are spoiled brats who thinks black water would sell…ugh…never!
