You know that the Adrienne Maloof/Paul Nassif divorce is gonna happen and they’re never gonna reconcile… when they’ve called in the services of John Turturro!
Yes, the beloved Adrienne Maloof is selling the house in which she and Paul Nassif shared their facade of a marriage… for only $26 million!
From WSJ: ”Located in Beverly Park, the French Chateau-style home spans almost 20,000 square feet and has eight bedrooms and 11 bathrooms, the person said. Designed by architect Richard Landry, the house has a two-entry entrance foyer, a movie theater, a two-story office and library area and two family rooms off the kitchen. Spread across two acres, the property includes a pool, tennis court, a guest house and a guest apartment. Mauricio Umansky, who also appears on the show, has the listing.” NOTE: The Maloof/Nassif home is not yet listed at TheAgency…

Kelsey Grammer was to appear on Piers Morgan last night, but scooted outta the building after seeing an image of his ex-wife, Camille Grammer! Piers was pissed!

Your Mama on The Real Estalker (it’s on Ms. SH’s blogroll, so go ahead and click, it’s good for you), has an article up today on the Maloof house. Her rundown of the “day-core” had me laughing, and going “uh huh!”.
Big money troubles going down with the Maloofs, this is just another sign of it. Is there ANY HW out there who isn’t desperate to keep this gig because they need the $$ ?
Odd how many of these reality shows end with one of the couples getting divorced. Not just the housewife shows but Nick & Jessica , Jon & Kate. Way back in the 70′s there was a show , it’s been called the first “Reality” show. Can’t recall the name but it was something like “An American Family.” Anyway one son on the show told his parents the truth about who he was. Out. & if I’m not mistaken the wife filed for divorce shortly after the show. This after like 20 years (or so) together. I think these shows force people to focus on what’s really going on in the marriage & face their own true feelings about it. Just odd that so many end in divorce. I still wonder if Tamara Barney would ever have faced the truth if it hadn’t been for R/H of the O/C. She said she wanted to leave 5 years before but then came Sophie. Sounds like Sophie was meant to save the marriage. (I mean she was in her 30′s with 3 kids already & Sophie was a “surprise”?? But these shows I think force them to focus on the truth.

Cool, & I actually got the name right. Kind of shocking with my memory & the fact that I was a kid when this aired. ;P Funny that we can still remember this all these years later.
Ms. SH I keep waiting for the DVD of An American Family, I remember watching every episode on PBS. Nora Ephron wrote an incredible article about Pat Loud’s book way back when in NY Magazine (in the 70s). She, Nora, got it right.
