TAKIN’ A SH DETOUR: Dog Shaming…

September 16, 2012  6:45 am

Pascale Lemire was sitting in bed with her fiancé Mike LeBlanc last week when she heard what sounded like chewing. Her dachshund Beau was under the bed, apparently snacking.
His chow of choice: LeBlanc’s grey Hanes boxers.

This was all rather funny (and rather worrisome, too, although the pup didn’t get sick). So they snapped a shot of their dog with a piece of paper that read, all-caps, “I am an underwear eating jerk!” Lemire posted it to her personal Tumblr, and what began as a joke spun into an online sensation comically calling out canines around the world for their most indecent (and repeated) indiscretions.

SO… let’s take a little detour and take a look at how ashamed these dogs look!!

About Stoopid Housewives

The Real Housewives franchises have become a guilty pleasure for me and I've become intrigued by 'normal' people who would agree to put their lives on television for public display and scrutiny. What are their motives to divulge their daily routines for viewing audiences to approve, reprimand, berate, castigate, attack; basically abuse and judge? Oh, just forget about the above nonsense... the majority of these people are just stoo-pid.

< I catch tiny birds & swallow them whole so I can regurgitate them in the kitchen.

lol I’ve seen this on FB – it’s hysterical and let’s me know I’m not alone with my four legged cuddle bunny. Hard to stay angry when the tail is wagging :)

  3. MyThreeSphynxs says:

Oh, if only this were about cats. Let me just give a tiny, insignificant example. My youngest, Shiloh, the cat otherwise known as Baby Four Paws, otherwise known as B4P makes it one of his many goals in life to chew through as many power cords for my laptops as catly possible. It’s so bad that I literally have to sit with my laptop on my lap and a squirt gun on my lap also pointing in the direction of an approaching B4P.

In case anyone has never had the pleasure of buying numerous power cords for their laptops, they are REALLY expensive.

    • MyThreeSphynxs says:

Oh, and if I ever change my screen to MyTwoSphynxs, you know B4P is on a plane winging his way from Maryland to Iowa back to his breeder.

      • romoshedint says:

What breed is B4P? My tabby destroyed cords when she was a kitten – 3 years old. Now she’s 13 and doesn’t do it anymore. What helped IMO, is making her an indoor/outdoor cat. She loves having the freedom to go outside. She’s still crazy though. :-)

        • MyThreeSphynxs says:

All three of mine are Sphynx. B4P is now about 5 years old and he has not outgrown his love for chewing on powercords. I’ve just grown more adept at hiding them. I have also bought every kind of bitter whatever I could find that is supposed to discourage chewing. He apparently liked the taste because he chewed even harder.

          • romoshedint says:

Duh me, not sure why I didn’t put 2 and 2 together on their breed. ?? It’s your screen name!
I was told once to try to sprinkle red pepper. That works too! They do not like that spice. Good luck :-)

When my two cats have to cough up/vomit hair balls, it is never on the hard wood floors, never on the darker colored oriental rugs,…. Where ever they are in this two story house, they make their way to the off white dining room area rug.

    • Pink says:

One of mine does this too, except its my cell phone charging cords!

I died laughing over these… especially the dog walker one!! Too cute!! Thanks for sharing :)

  5. Candace says:

I have this one bookmarked and I go there daily, just after I look in at Stoopid Housewives.

    Always brightens my day. :)

  6. Susie says:

Too bad there is so much animal abuse in the world.Dogs get on your nerves just like kids but the are nice to have around.Miss my black pug that died too soon.

  7. romoshedint says:

:-) I like the pup that gets on the table, but is too afraid to get down. What is that, a Great Dane puppy? So cute! That frog eating one looks like Spanky, but we all know he wouldn’t do anything like that because he’s a perfect gentleman.
MsSH’s pup is sooo adorbs. GoBigBoy

  8. duh says:

Dear MsSH: I have a King Cavalier St Charles just like yours and he is the most cuddly, smart sweet dog ever. But he is so perfect that he never does anything wrong! Hard to believe but it is true. Can’t say the same about his mutt bro but we love them both the same

  9. pjbottoms says:

I feel sorry for that Black Lab! He was probably sitting no nicely becuase his owner told him to! He probably pooped on the floor cuz he was locked in the house all day!

  10. I saw this on tumblr. Too cute. My pup only acts out when he’s hungry or needs to go out and I take my time. He’s a good boy and thank God power cordsand remotes are not his thing.

I do have to lock him out of the room when I do yoga, he can’t let me practice in peace lays beside be every time sit on the mat. I want to try doggie yoga, if he could focus, he would enjoy it.

  11. I loved them, thanks for the smiles…. :-)

  12. Wesley!!! says:

The regret on their faces! Love, love, love this.

I should start doing that with my Pomeranian and Lab Retriever.

And is that your Cavalier Ms. SH?

  13. morninglaurie says:

I love any pictures or stories about dogs….My Luvy boy lab(his name is Charles) has one bad habit, he chews seat belts if I leave him in car..My dad had to replace four seat belts! In a matter of seconds he chews right through them I even wrapped remainder of them with Duc tape and he chewed right through in seconds. I cant be mad at him when he looks at me with those eyes… That’s my two favorite boys in the whole world in my picture here.

  14. Brobee says:

I laughed so hard at these! As a former doxie mommy, I also found it more funny that many of the dogs pictured were weenies! They are adorable, but devilish little guys!

I have cats and they get into stuff too- my Siamese Snowshoe loves to bring critters into the house: bugs, lizards, frogs, etc. But my Mom’s poodle mix takes the cake- that dog likes to eat socks. She has taken my son’s socks more times than I can count, we have to keep extra pairs at Grandma’s house just in case!
