Jacqueline Laurita was on the last segment of the Anderson Cooper Show this morning.
Jax was on Anderson to raise awareness of autism in children, as she recently learned her youngest son, Nicholas, was diagnosed as autistic.
Early in the interview, Anderson’s co-host, Niecy Nash stated that all of Jax’ cast mates have to be behind her since revealing that her son is autistic. Jax did not answer. Anderson repeated the statement; asked Jax point blank if Teresa has not been supportive; and added that he could not believe that anyone could NOT be supportive of an autistic child. Jax looked at her coffee cup, took a sip and remarked to Anderson about the coffee.
After chatting for approximately three minutes with Anderson, it was break time… and what appeared right before coming back from the commercial break? Why, it was Caroline Manzo… telling everyone how wonderful Jax and her brother, Chris Laurita are! And, of course, how much DonCaro loves them and the wonderful work they are doing for autisim.
Upon returning from the break, Chris Laurita joined Jax to speak about their son, Nick. Chris said he was not accepting of the diagnosis at first, but is now working with Jax to help their son.
Anderson asked Jax if she was returning to the Real Housewives of New Jersey. In true, Bravo-robo-speak, BubbaJax’ reply was, “You’ll have to wait and watch”… or something to that effect. You all know the drill… and you all know the answers to that question! The same answers which are drilled into ALL of the Housewives’ brain cells when anyone asks them that “Will you be back next season… blah, blah, blah?” question!
But wait! Chris Laurita took over the answer to Anderson’s “will you be back” question for Jax!
Chris Laurita told Anderson that IF asked back, he and Jax would use the RHONJ as a platform for autism awareness.

Not being supportive and no longer being friends, so Tree is naturally not going to pick up the phone. Two different things! What a nasty person to suggest that a woman that she is no longer friends with is just outwardly not being supportive. There’s no more relationship. What? Every single person that you’ve parted ways with over a lifetime, if their child is diagnosed with something, you’re supposed to come out of the woodwork. I’m certain Tree thought ‘oh, I hope he will be alright’, my goodness, she has kids, herself. But to put out there on national television like Tree is heartless.. come on, really? That’s a bit much and the ‘oh, is that coffee’ comment was obnoxious. You’re not filming with Bravo, honey. You’re on a talk show.

Dealing with a child who has Autism is very demanding. You need to on point with his routine. Add an husband and other siblings. You also need to make sure they are not forgotten. CJ is still a small child that needs attention also. Nic is 3 years old and with the right routine and program, this is the time to be aggresive in treatment. In saying all this. I honestly don’t see Jax being able to do this. Only from her actions on TV, twitter, and media outlets. She had a melt down over a friendship gone bad. What happens when Nic has bad days, which will be many in the beginning.
In order for Nic to have every advantage to live a normal (hate using that term) his parents and family are the ones that carry the load at this point in his life. I don’t see that happening. Mistake number 1 is to still be on the show. I’m not trying to judge their choice or trash them, but it’s just not a good situation for Nic at this time.

Is that like they did for BLK water, and Brownstone Sauce, and their own personal agendas for trying to get rid of people off the show and affect their livelihoods? Jacqueline didn’t answer the question about Teresa because if she says no, and we find out she did, then she is slandering Teresa and can be sued, and if she says yes, then she would be making Teresa look good, and God forbid the Manzos or the Lauritas will do that. I am beginning to see this as exploitation of their son’s issues for their own personal recognition and to hopefully keep them on the RHONJ show. I really can’t take any more of this. Please get off all media, and focus on your children.
Or she could have used some tact and just said, ‘yes, everyone is being supportive’ without throwing a castmate that she is no longer even friends with under the bus. That would have been the appropriate way to handle a question like that.. in the real world. Of course, Jax is clearly in la la reality land where basic Q&A’s turn into something evil.
I watch the different franchises for various reasons. I watch Jersey cause I understand the family dynamics, I know the places they frequent and (I am embarrassed to admit) because I can’t stop as I pass the train wreck. Call me crazy, but I don’t think BubbaJax can present a serious issue like autism in a positive light. It will be a referendum on her inability to deal with it properly and to me that’s not entertainment. If that is the extent of her proposed story line, don’t let the door hit you on the way out.
Love to hear your views. I ha e to tell you this story. I met one of the local TV reporter “talent” and she gave this talk at a luncheon about how we all need to fulfill our guilty pleasures. then she went on to say she was a fan of RHONJ. My jaw hit the floor when she said she was going to take a couple of girlfriends to New Jersey to go to Tres auction and won’t that be fun? I made my way to her afterwards and said You can’t be serious! That’s someone’s real life and it’s a sad situation! turns out she was going to take a camera crew with her to produce a piece about the New Jeraey Housewives hotspots. I asked her to reconsider stopping at the auction (which never took place anyway). The piece never aired and I like to think I stopped this lady from making a fool out of herself.
Thank goodness she didn’t go. I’m pretty sure the camera crew would not have gotten into the auction. Also, you had to register and pay a deposit (I think that one was $300).
Yeah there was a fee to make sure there were serious bidders.

Yes. It was initially postponed and then the Giudices withdrew their Bankruptcy petition
the prob is that on tv they wont show how tantrums can go on for 2 hrs or that some childern w/ autism bit ,hit, hit their heads hard on things,bite their self ect…..im dont think they will show autism in its true light…..Jacs son also seems to talk and not stim….thank God for that but it is for sure one of the easy cases of autism.
How did she want Teresa to “support” her? I don’t get what all these women (NY included) mean by ” she didn’t support me”. Can’t any of them do anything for themselves? Take control of your life & own it!!
She did support her would be my guess, but lets give her the benefit of the doubt and say she never did. Why would she after a year of not speaking and being told by Jacqueline she wanted nothing to do with her? What exactly should Tre do? Does Jacqueline want acknowledgment? Exactly. Tree would have been darn if you do, darn if you don’t whether she reached out (and clearly) not reached out. If she would have picked up the phone, sent a card (whatever the case), Jax would have surely blasted that Tree was being insincere or using the son’s diagnosis to put her more out in the spotlight. Sometimes relationships with certain people are like this, no matter how you behave towards them, they are going to take issue with this. Only. Jax and Tree no longer have a friendship. So, she shouldn’t have been expected to reach out, at that point.

Dear Aint: I think you made astute observations about Jax. Her child’s illness (and I truly hope that she is 100% honest about the diagnosis) may now be another Laurita / Manzo commercial opportunity. And I think she is going to exploit the illness (with that husband that ripped off Signature Apparel).
This is the first time I saw the picture of Jax under the Real Housewives logo. They Photoshopped the hell out of her face. No more Huckleberry Hound jaw, chipmunk cheeks and there is actually some sparkle in those dead eyes. She must be thanking her lucky stars for computer retouch tools.
IMO Jax is very jealous of Teresa’s success. The other cast members have specific story lines , MeHo singing, Tre cook books and Celebrity Apprentice (Jax may be angling for a spot with the Donald), Lapband and Catface, Koma Kathy and her desserts, the Smirk brothers have BLK and of course Don Carp has a job micromanaging and breastfeeding the triplets plus a book on eye roll …parenting. I doubt Jax wants to do the grunt work and really set up schedule and keep Nic on it. Difficult to do if you are up all night twittering. I think Jax wants the hired help to do the heavy lifting while she travels and is busy as a Spokes Model for autism. Just like Vegas only she doesn’t have to model panties and bras. And of course all Spokes Models need a new wardrobe for all the chat shows and interviews. She is also going to need her botox and fillers since hd is so unforgiving. Plus me time at the Spa so she can look her very best. Yup just like the good old days. Who knows Bravo may give her a raise if she manages to work in what a bich Teresa is during the autism spot.

In short, she is about to get a taste of what its like to be Tre. If she was smart, she’d ask Tre for advise about how to keep it together so she can get through her imminent future.

I believe that there is also something wrong with Ashley that goes beyond being a lazy , spoiled brat. Her flat affect and antisocial behavior have probably been simmering for years and went unnoticed and untreated by Jax. Glug, glug…Every time I see Jax on RHONJ , she is trashing Teresa. She said in the interview that Nicholas was diagnosed in April .

Yes, yes, and yes! I mentioned in another comment about the frequent blank look on both Jacqueline’s and Ashley’s faces. There is something very wrong with both of them. I’ve had severe health issues for the past year, and I’m very familiar with health insurance issues. Jax’s claims about the whole 8 months thing are utterly bogus and an insult to most people’s intelligence. She was just waiting to get “approval” (whatever that means in Jax lingo) to get diagnostic testing for her son, not something that would cost thousands upon thousands of dollars. She’s lying. You don’t need approval from an insurance company to see a doctor–you don’t need their permission. You may have to pay for it out of your own pocket, but you are free to see any doctor you want. I call total BS on her whole 8 month insurance story.
My daughter needed to see a specialist (for acid reflux), so our dr. recommended one that was covered by our insurance and she was seen. Why would it ever take that long? It’s not logical.
You are right.. When I go to my doctor, if it’s something he thinks he can’t handle, he gives me a list of spec. Doctors that are covered by our insurance.. I have never waited for 8 months to find out what is wrong with me… I call bull shit too… Jaq is nuts..
My son has to see a Specialist. We caledl his Insurance Co today and they gave him a name of one in his Town he called and has an appointment, Wow one hour.

So maybe she just had to wait till she found a doctor that was willing to give her the diagnosis she was after. Yall know how I feel about it.

stacy, ur 100% correct. I had a problem with my insurance on my diabetic 5 year old son. I went ahead and had all testing done prior to any coverage.
I don’t know if she means covered, but I have a son who needed physical therapy and now needs, speech therapy. I have amazing insurance (TRICARE) and we are having to wait 2 months to get into see an ENT, so his hearing can be checked, so he can be sent to a speech therapist. I’m not saying she’s the best parent, but when your toddler is not hitting his developmental milestones it can take a while for all to the observations, referrals, and appointments before getting a diagnosis…
Does your state have an Early Intervention System? My son was speech delayed and through Early Intervention, he was evaluated and placed in a program with speech therapy. It was a state program and there was no insurance involvement in the whole thing and the program was great.
Stacy, just because you had no problem with your insurance doesn’t mean everyone has the same experience. Depending on the insurance company and type of coverage one may have, it could take very long. Usually the primary physician’s office calls the insurance company to get a pre-cert. The ins. company may deny the request. If that happens, you have jump through hoops to get it approved. If she decides to take him to the specialist without approval. She has to pay out of pocket. Then the insurance won’t cover medical bill relating to that diagnosis because it becomes a pre-existing condition.
If there are insurance delays, you pay cash. If you are short on cash, you borrow from the fambly that is thick as thieves or your wealthy parents.
No way Jax should be on the show anymore.
If you have a child with a problem, you MAKE it happen. You don’t make excuses.

If Season 4 was filmed last year then maybe the Lauritas financial house of cards had yet to collapse. Perhaps it was deliberate, the finger pointing and snide, nasty remarks to keep the harsh glare of the spotlight firmly focused on the Guidices. How did Bravo and all their producers manage to miss the Lauritas bankruptcy? How did they earn a pass from receiving the same treatment as Tre and Joe? Why aren’t MeHo and Kathy critiquing how Jax and Chris spend money? Why isn’t twitter aflame with it? Perhaps the autism bought them a pass …..
The producers were very friendly with everyone in the cast except Teresa. They had dinner and drinks with them, Gregg worked out with a few of them, the manzo had them over for dinner and the list goes on. The rest of the cast thought they were so special when everyone of them were tweeting pictures with themselves and the producers. Well now that the producers were fired the plan to ruin Teresa and force her off the show is backfiring. You can search this site for the pictures

IMHO the real reason that JAX and Don Caro are upset with Tre is because she got smart to the fact they were telling the tabloids all her business in the first couple of seasons. JAX has a big mouth, Tre figured it out and decided to sell her own stories. She stopped telling JAX everything.
That’s the part of real reason why Don Caro can’t verbalize what Tre has done to upset her. Great way to take the focus of them. I also think Juicy is more responsible for the tabloid stories the Tre herself. She clearly worships Juicy and I don’t think she makes a move without his blessing. I think the reason she was so quick to capitalize on her fame, compared to her cast mates, is Juicy. He is a total jerk, but you can tell he’s also a hustler.

Ridiculous, since Teresa (like most of them) have veneers which are completely unaffected by any whitening treatments. On that topic, people who get veneers: PLEASE don’t always go for the unnatural-looking blinding-white teeth! Not only does the color itself look fake, but you all look like you have dentures (and who wants to look like Aviva’s father George!).

You know, I thought the same thing. Yesterday, as well as being on Anderson, there was an article in the Daily News… Jacqueline Laurita says Teresa was not supportive ..blah blah blah. Bravo is behind all of it, and the Lauritas are playing right along, using their son for relevance. IMHO if they were going to do the RIGHT thing, they wouldn’t make it about Teresa’s support, they’d announce to the world that because of personal family issues and the incredibe parenting demand they need to undertake to make sure that Nic gets everything he needs and more, they are leaving the spotlight and concentrating on family. Remember when Michael J Fox announced he had Parkinsons? Isn’t that what he did? He left the spotlight for his health and to really devote his time to the cause. The Lauritas should take a page out of MJF’s playbook.

Eileen – I thought the same thing. Anderson looked soo phony looking “shocked” that Tre was supposedly not supportive. As soon as he went into the questioning – there is a huge picture of Teresa on the background screen. That means they had that pic qued up and ready to display as soon as Anderson asked the Q. Lame. I thought this twerp was a serious news journalist???
Jaq is soooo stupid – if she is trying to be a spokesperson for this serious diability, she should have answered the Q professionaly and returned it back to Nicholas. I think Jac has the mentality of a 13 year old girl. She is used to being the cute one, the one everyone looks at and wants to be with. This changed with Teresa. Teresa may not talk correctly, but she is naturally smart business wise, just like a lot of immigrants who came to this country with nothing. Good work ethics and a good business sense will always do you well – whether you are selling pots and pans or book and wine deals with exposure on a tv. Teresa learned quick. Jac just stood around looking cute. Now she is jealous. A real friend would be happy for Teresa. And why does Jac need to know everything about Teresa. Just because you are a friend, it is not an obligation of your girlfriend to share hard times. I had a friend whose husband cheated on her with her sister. She found out two weeks after ungoing surgery for cancer. She didn’t want to talk about it. You have to respect that. When they want to talk about it they will. Its no reflection on your friendship. Boy this was long. Sorry, LOL.

DonCaro knocked off Danielle (with the others assistance – Danielle had two cute and talented daughers), then Ashlee (so Lauren could dominate the 20 something female category and Mama Jax let her daughter get mauled) and then Tre. DonCaro and Jax even beat up Gia. There is no shame here.

When I was traveling to work this morning, somethng hit me. Remember at the spa when DonCaro continually said to Tre, “Tell me that you hate me.” And Tre answered “I love you and your family.” (close as I can remember). DonCaro said this a few times.
I think I know why now. If Tre said, “I hate you and you hate me,” Bravo may get rid of Tre. How could Tre and Joe film with the Manzos/Lauritas if she said “I hate you” to DonCaro.
DonCaro (and her allies) probably are saying that they cannot film with Tre. They want to have Tre gone. If Tre said “I hate you,” then DonCaro would say how can this woman work with anybody?
I think her whole “tell me that you hate me” thing was her projecting her own emotion of hatred onto Teresa. Had she achieved her goal of goading Teresa into saying that she hated Chuckie, it would justify her own hatred of Teresa and validate all of her own negative behavior. That is why she was crying when she failed to get Teresa to say it. Oh, and you are right that Chuckie would use an admission of hatred to preclude filming with Teresa.
Ana: It matched parts of the Danielle sit-down at end of Season 2 (and Danielle then was off the show). Calling Tre garbage; calling Danielle garbage. Then saying “I am starting to smell.” Tremendous baiting. Wanting to provoke Tre’s famous temper.

The incessant bullying signals the demise of the housewives shows. We used to watch to see the shopping, the spa days, the kids making sauce with the grandparents or pumpkin harvest or even Halloween. Now it’s one long endless epic episode of Jerry Springer . Also like Ground Hog Day (ok Lauren tweet away since I used hog in a paragraph about RHONJ so I must be insulting you) nothing new just same old same old. Tre did this, Tre did that. Guy confab (cuz OMG the little woman can’t settle it). Bash. Fight. What is the point of vacation if the arguing over petty BS drowns out the scenery. Same stupid fight different location.
True, the Carowhines of the world need it to stay Ground Hog Day , that’s their point. She can’t get beyond her fight w/Tre because then she’s left to deal with her own real life problems.I think that’s why she’s so convinced calling Tre names actually does something or fixes something. I think she sort of has to believe that. Can’t help but wonder if Carowhines mom never taught her that the name calling thing only works until around the 5th or 6th grade. Beyond that if you’re not honest w/youself (especially if your acting like a clown) it’s like Bernie Madoff insulting someone else’s financial status, not real…duh.. You would think at 50 she’d get that.? As much as I find it funny to watch her spin her wheels & Jax sit there too bleary eyed or uninformed to question TheDon, it does get old sometimes. Tre needs to make it more interesting by doing something to stir the pot. If she wanted I’m sure she could come up with something to really make Carowhine angry. It’s too funny to watch the whole head spinning thing. Then we could watch as it spreads through Carowhine’s whole “fambily” .
