Not looking forward so much to this WWHL, which immediately follows tomorrow’s new episode of the Real Housewives of New Jersey, as looking forward to the WWHL AfterShow.
MissAndy has gunked up WWHL with so many now-mandatory “games” and bartender banter that the meat of each WWHL episode could be whittled down to five-minutes.
Perhaps MissAndy should consider getting rid of his “Mazels” along with his other personal thoughts which simply take up valuable “interviewing” space on WWHL. The “Mazels” were cute back in the day… back when MissAndy only had one guest, a Housewife, in the clubhouse and he needed filler for the entire 28 minutes… back when WWHL was actually a fun viewing experience.
The “fun” went out of WWHL when MissAndy decided to expand the show to five days a week, from its original two days. Ya kinda looked forward to WWHL knowing that it’s on twice-a-week…
Unfortunately, WWHL has taken the path right behind the Housewives shows… predictable! And with predictability comes boredom.
Maybe MissAndy should have this guy on more often!

Oh my! That delightful man was the most entertaining thing I have seen in the club house in a long time. I agree WWHL was a bit more ‘fun’ when it was given in small doses. Now he just does filler air time drinking games and other nonsensical circus acts on air. A small part of me feels that jax enjoys all the attention she is getting for her poor son’s diagnosis, really dark stuff and I wish it were not true.
I didn’t want to come across as insensitive but I have to question her timing on releasing this info about her adorable son which also makes it exploitive to the max. And the fact that I felt the way I did about sounding insensitive is exactly what she’s hoping for and will probably, to a great extent, achieve. It’s horrible to think she’s enjoying the attention but I felt that way about Vicki with Brianna’s cancer scare also.
After seeing the pic of Jax goofing off ….I just cannot help but question the timing of the autism diagnosis news. I want to believe that Jax would not use her son like this but the fact that Chris drained Apparels assets to finance his lifestyle speaks volumes. He apparently had no qualms about living off some one else’s hard earned $$$$. It is unfortunate but the Lauritas are scammers.

I don’t think it is insensitive at all, and I agree that she is exploiting her son. When she made that little dig in her blog about People magazines’ circulation vs. InTouch (teresa’s mag). This speaks volumes about her true motivation for going public with his diagnosis.
Not to mention, she has said that although they knew there was a real problem with Nicholas, his diagnosis was delayed because it took eight months for the insurance to approve a visit to see a specialist. It never occured to them to reach into their pocket and pay a specialist?? That is beyond disgusting.
She exploited her daughters teen angst on television – exposing Ashlee to very vicious criticism from “fans.” Now, she has sunk even further by trying to keep her TV job by exploiting that sweet boy. Gross
I question her bringing out the story at all. Why did we have to know about Nic’s autism? It certainly isnt obvious from what we have seen of him on camera. She says she came out with the People story because she wanted everyone to tell her side before it became gossip. What is there to gossip about autism? Truly, it would have been better for her if someone would have leaked it and she came out and said…yes, Nic is autistic. I wanted to help my son and deal with this family issue privately….protecting his privacy. That would have been much more repectable. I guess she waited a whole year and nobody leaked it, she got impatient for the attention, and BAM! Tell the whole world in People magazine. His case appears to be mild. This kid could have been worked with and maybe lived a life without this label. Now his life is forever changed. Thats what I think.
Looks like Chris & Jac are now strapped for cash and are making the media rounds exploiting their child who may have been misdiagnosed. Jac is a very, very twisted, demented woman.
Her whole story is fishy. No PARENT in their RIGHT MIND waits 8 months to seek a DOCTOR if you think something is wrong with your child.(first signal that she is lying) you go to his regular doctor and that doesn’t take 8 months,..Your regular Dr. takes it from there. YOU DO NOT go public with something like that. (second signal she’s a liar)…you keep this private between the family. WHY is she EXPLOITING HER CHILD. In my eyes both of these parents are nothing but connivers looking for their place in the sun, trying to wrangle their way out of all their problems and USING THEIR CHILD to do this. They do not belong in the public eye any longer. My heart goes out to the child.
New Jersey has an Early Intervention System, which, if it is anything like the Early Intervention program in my state, includes evaluation of developmental delays. Google “New Jersey Early Intervention”. I don’t believe that there was any need to wait 8 months for insurance to cover an evaluation. Jackal-line is a big, fat, filthy liar.
I’m calling BS because daughter has friends who have picked up sticks and moved their children to New Jersey because the early intervention is so exceptional. and effective NJ is to be commended for offering such wonderful programs for children on the spectrum.
Yes NJ has exceptional programs however they don’t come to you you have to go to them. My friend has had to fight tooth and nail for her son and he is now 10 and is finally going to the school she has been fighting for for years. She has even gone to the Governor. It’s not easy and you can’t sit and twitter all day and give people links.
ITA. thanks for the info. No matter what your child’s diagnosis you have to fight like hell to get service it seems. It’s frustrating . jax commitment to remediation seems to be interviews and twitter. Autism requires hands on, 24/7 commitment, appts with speech and OT. often changes that require monitoring a child’s diet., working on communication skills. I fail to understand how anything takes priority over one’s child. At this point I am doubtful.
It can take a while to differentiate between FAS and autism. If FAS is mild the facial features can be barely noticeable. They share a lot of the same behavioral symptoms, so children that are actually FAS can be diagnosed by mistake as autistic. For the record, I have not even seen a photo of Nicholas, nor am I a doctor. I am only sharing information.

FAS and not Autism people are so quick to want to paint Jax as a neglectful drunk who is making up Autism for ratings when its FAS instead

Actually, it does not take a drunk or neglectful drinker. Many woman may have a few glasses of wine before they even know they are preg and never drink again through the whole preg and end up with a child that has FAS. Some people are even encouraged to have small amount of wine, but with new studies, this is showing to be not a good idea especially in the earliest development months. So if it does end up being FAS, it is not necessarily because she is a drunk. The poor moms that maybe had a few glasses of wine before they realized they were preg, get stigmatized because of the label. THe more you drink the more severe the facial changes can be. FAS is mistaken for Autism, its just a fact. Getting your child the right diagnosis can take years, or maybe never. Autism and FAS both share a telltale crooked pinky finger too, so even some physical traits can be confusing.
I do know that My point is Jax lies her wine dosnt mean she drank while PG or has a child with FAS people like that Diagnosis because they want to paint her as a neglectful mom who did this to her child

Your totally correct, when she came out on this I made a comment about this on SH. The way that Jax drinks is exactly how one of my aunts drank before she got on the wagon. She was a secret drunk which I think Jax is, yes we see her drink in public but I bet anything she drinks like a fish in private. In fact in cases where she could easily be drinking a soda or juice she’s drinking some alcoholic beverage. Remember the episode when she invited Teresa over to train with her “trainer” (the blond woman). Did you notice something about the woman, she was shit faced drunk. The camera man or woman made it a priority to show her with a fifth of vodka in her training bag. I think her and Jax drink together.
I don’t want to believe that it is FAS, but I’ve read alot and more than what I will post in the comments. I think that she may have been a few weeks pregnant and maybe was having her drinks and then found out that she was pregnant and then “stopped” (and I don’t really believe the stopped either, slowed down maybe but stopped). Taking that long I think they where afraid that if it was FAS (which it may, the only other person to know is the doctor what is he going to say and then get sued) and maybe was able to get the doctor to say it was autism.

I was thinking the same thing about FAS. Nicholas is getting to the age now where he may soon appear to the viewers to have developmental impairments and I think to cover the FAS symptoms, they may have decided to garner sympathy with an Autism ‘diagnosis’.
I know several people that were on wait list for appointments for well over 6 months. I also was refused an appointment because I wanted to pay cash not through insurance. I don’t think we can judge or try to evaluate the process they went through.
If my kids regular pediatrician made me wait 8 months to see him he sure in hell wouldn’t be my pediatrician for long. I’m talking about their regular Doctor not a specialist.
Grandsons Pediatrician is available evening and weekends. Left the Golf course when GS had strep.

IA I stopped watching when it went to five days. Mandy is a fame monger just like the ladies he and Bravo hire to be housewives. He intended the show to be his platform for self promotion hence the five day a week schedule. He’s done the requisite vanity book. Next he’ll come out with a signature cocktail, a cruise with Mandy…BORING.
Is the finale coming up soon, or is the Dina episode also the same? Are they going to show the fashion show? It seems like the season has gone on forever, especially since there’s been a couple of weeks that weren’t a new episode. Can’t wait for the reunion.

No they do not represent NJ at all! Actually in the beginning everyone loved watching NJ housewives as everything was light and fun. There were bubbies and chuckies. It was a funny show people could talk about openly. Then Chucky just had to play detective and bring out Danielle’s past, and recruit everyone to her “team”. Dina Jac Tre. My how history has repeated itself! NJ has really great cultural diversity, and there are many wealthy Russian, Korean, Indian, Jewish families that they could have on the show. But they won’t because they love to exploit the Italian Mob stereotype, and also word is Chucky is anti-semitic?
You described why I watched the show ,light ,fun, form of escapism. Loved watching the girlfriends shopping together and hanging out with the kids. It would be nice to see the real NJ and the diversity you described. Nothing would surprise me about Carowhine’s prejudices. Caroline’s hate and paranoia ruined a perfectly good show.

IMO I think the show went sour with the table flipping incident. That one scene set the stage for all the rest of the show. The characters may change but the storyline stays the same – intense conflict between characters culminating in explosive displays of anger, all conveniently filmed by Bravo. Bravo stages each situation to bring out the worst personality traits of ALL of the cast members to insure the resentments build and the stage is set.
This is not NJ…lthey are a disgrace…I can see the residents in Franklin Lakes and Montville cringing….I know a number of people in FL Wyckoff Ridgewood and they are disgusted by the antics and the don caro middle finger and swearing. They wouldn’t step foot inside of catface.

Why is Bravo okay with this kind of behavior? On Chuckies Bravo blog, a black woman (she mentioned her race in her comment) wrote how she admired Chuckie, how great she was, blah blah blah. I replied to the woman, telling her about Chuckie’s racist tweets and how she might want to read them and perhaps revise her opinion of Chuckie. Of course, Bravo didn’t post my comments. Why do they cover for the Manzoids and protect them from much deserved backlash?

It is really sick and sad that Chucky and her brood are still making lynching and AIDS jokes when it is almost 2013. They did not grow up in rural Mississippi, they grew up in North NJ the most densely populated state with a rich cultural and ethnic community. So if they really are making these “JOKES” they have no excuse because they grew up with a fair amount of cultural awareness here. Right, it was fun until Caro decided that she is da matriarch and everyone has to take a sideline to her and her kids. It isn’t even like a real housewives show now, it is the Manzo show, and that gets old. I want to see new women with no loyalty to anyone, women with a career or even single/divorced women who don’t need Caro’s approval.
That’s a very good point. Remember on Season 3, after the fashion show spat w/ Tre & Froggy? Froggy felt the need to go to Chucky to “explain herself” and apologize. WTH? Why? It was ridiculous and that has been the tone of the whole show, “don’t piss off Caroline Manzo.” I say if u get rid of the Manzos and that will solve most of the problems.

Froggy may have known that Teresa was a target by the Manzos to get knocked off the show. First, target Danielle. Then, target Teresa. Bring on the Manzoids (Lauren, Albie, Critterfur and Greggy). Use her family to knock her off. Get rid of the Gorgas / Giudices and populate the cast with Manzos / Lauritas only.
It backfired, hopefully the mighty 4 and crew are gone.

Watched the Altanta marathon today and NeNe “Mouse” promoting her new show.She looks out of her league and they have her in the back of the lineup .She can only play her ghetto self.Type cast.She is another one that needs to go away.Every HW show needs to do some housekeeping and clean up the cast.Some are paid way too much $$ for what they bring.Others are there in name only no substance.
And she ruined Glee for me!

If you watch the housewife shows, do what I do, follow housewives whether you like them or not, so you can see all their tweets during shows. And follow SH, so you can see the good stuff, like when Heather Dubrooo thought she was gonna show us how edumacted and smart she is…lol
I cannot stand Jack AND Chris. Make no mistake about it, these 2 are broke and desperate. They need viewers to ve able to stay on this show AND they need lots of sympathy from the FEDS as they are in HOT WATER’!! No mother or father would continue this show with a newly diagnosed baby with autism!! Not Buying It! They would have left the hate train and worked any legit job possible to spend time with both sons! I do not see Jack acting any different since this baby’s problems started! She is a drunk, obnoxious twitter addict with several accts – including her husband’s now! These 2 maje me sick and I find way 2 many holes in their diagnosis, the timing, their behavior, to believe in them telling any truths! Both are shady, more bankrupties, amex sued Chris, blk lawsuit, this sign appar bleeding if $8 million, etc.. He is creepy and apoears to constantly support and encourage her bazaar behavior! They could have paid 3 specialists out of pocket with the money this moron spends on botox, lip inject, facial injec, body image insecurities!! Exploiting her daugherter on this show is proof she is/they are inadequate parents that constantly use poor judgement when it comes to childten. They are shady and desperate. I do NOT want autism as a storyline on any hw show-not the right forum!!!
I hope they all get canned except tre… then we’ll see how she gets on with others who aren’t so vile and bullying. Out of all of f*ckery that is the Manzo family, I am constantly stricken with disgust by the cruel, divisive and just plain mean comments she has made over the years to Lapband Lauren. Constantly TTC and fake weeping about her poor daughter’s weight ‘problem’, about Albie’s purported learning disability (that was only discovered after flunking out of law school, really?), and about her former slender body (paleeeze). She calls Lauren an asshole on television while rubbing Albies nipples. I will never stop throwing up.
For the record, Jack has been quite the wine drinker since season one. Many people on many blogs have speculated the baby has been mis-diagnosed and could have FAS. Some professionals have questioned some of Jack’s claims and her removal of all Nick’s photos from her FB page., timing of news, etc.. Putting ur life and very personal business on a reality show and constantly on social media invites varied opinions and speculation, which will always include judgements-human nature. Sorry-that’s the consequence.
IMO They have ALL (including Tre) invited speculation and scrutiny because they ALL have the same mo (modus operandi). It’s not just Jaxs and Chris. It’s also Tre and Juicy, MeGo and JoGo, the Manzos, the Wakiles. They ALL way overstated their net worth, way overspent money the didn’t have, engaged in shady business practices, were or are involved in legal proceedings, owe people money left and right, involved their children inappropriately in the show and they ALL have used the media to garner sympathy and manipulate public opinion.
@OCwoman, I completely agree with you. i would like to see a Kim G on RHNJ. I hear Kim G has all the tea and wants to be on the show but Andy wont let her. I don’t like any of the family members as housewives. I didn’t like the 1st season with Dina, Caroline and Jac on as a family. I don’t like Teresa, Melissa and Kathy as a family. I don’t like Kyle and Kim on BH as a family. I hated to see Cynthia and her sister on ATL together. I want to see grown women stand on their on two feet and not have family members to run to for protection or family members to that they hate to throw under the bus. I would get rid of anybody that has family ties whether they get along or not.
I agree and I’m over their idiot husbands taking up half the show! It’s Real HouseWIVES of NJ. Tre is the only one I’m interested in watching anymore. It will be interesting to see what happens next year with the lineup.
ITA. Midget Joe Gorga often gets more airtime than his ho. KomaKathy’s repulsive husband gets more airtime than she does. Between these househusbands and Chuckie’s teat suckling progeny, there is not much housewives in the Real Housewives of New Jersey.
I think Kim would be a good replacement for Chatty Katty and that pervie mutt of hers….we’d see some action especially if her and Tre ban together against the manzoids cause I doubt Andy is going to get rid of his Anti Semetic friend Carowhine

You are right. I dont want any families either. If Mandy is going to turn these shows into bar room brawls its an unfair advantage to the family members. You hear me chuck and jac? Family members brought on to cause problems are an unfair disadvantage. Mel and minijoe.
