Speaking of “fashion”… tomorrow is Fashion’s Night Out, as mentioned above… how ”reality stars” are viewed. From WSJ:
“Reality-TV stars’ wattage has grown considerably in recent seasons. Once looked down upon if not banished altogether, some personalities, including a few cast members of “The Real Housewives,” have been welcomed into the fold by a handful of brands.
A designer could give a reality TV character a front-row seat and even lend her clothes, Ms. Brod says. But the star treatment might be fleeting, she says. “Something could happen and all of the sudden she goes insane on last week’s show and we’ll change our minds.”

Boy, isn’t that the truth, just like the Martha Stewart collections, among others.
Just guessing most women who’d consider purchasing Countess inspired table ware most likely have more than they need already. Same with home goods. Those are the last things people buy in a recession. Basic, sturdy and disposable gets the family fed and on to other things quickly. The recent college grad and newlyweds striking out don’t want LuLu’s stodgy crappola.
Luann knows how to dress her body type better than the other women. Ramona needs help. I think she’s gained some weight in her stomach (or has perma-bloat from all the pinot) and everything she wears is skintight around her middle. But I think Reid is taking it too far when he calls the women overweight in the preview for next week’s episode. None of the women on RHONY would be considered overweight–they just wear inappropriate clothing that makes them appear that way.
I agree with you about Luann. Though not a fan, I think she usually looks elegant and knows how to wear what is flattering to her. She has great posture and dresses age appropriat for the most part. Then she opens her mouth and ruins everything.

I think Luann is hit and miss with her body type.
When she dresses too boxy she looks butchy to me, she’s big boned and has such a big head and strong face, when she wears more fluid and feminine shaped clothing it softens her so much.
I liked her hair a few seasons ago when it was softer and less stiff than it looks now for the same reason.
I like her less and less with each season that passes so that could be affecting my opinion..

Ya, I think none of these women are overweight, and even if they were, a husband saying that where it can be overheard is just tacky. I do wish Ramona would ditch the monokinis, though. Bikinis and monokinis look really bad if you aren’t a stick, and even then it can look trashy…
Well, you gotta consider the source. Reid is married to a woman who has one hard boiled egg for breakfast. Paper Towel brags about her education and fluency in several languages – however, she flunks basic nutrition. Reid prefers the anoxeric type – low sex drive.

Whewww….sorry guys…..It is thankfully a hoax. Hubby came in and told me he died after seeing someone post it on facebook, but there is an article on TMZ saying it isn’t true. He was in my all time favorite movies. My heart was stuck in my throat.
Don’t worry bout it Pink. I a have been sucked in to those things a time or two myself. It seems like they all tend to die on location in New Zeland. In fact, I think someone in Hollywierd(you listening Kevin Smith?) should do a spoof film titled That Movie Filmed In New Zealand featuring cameos of all actors that have been targeted with this fake story over the years.
p.s. If this film is made, I expect a chunk of change and credits for my creative contribution. (you hear me, Kevin?)
