Remember Elvira Grau? Elvira was TREE JOODICE’S party planner. The party planner who scanned Tree’s home and told her she needed a swimming pool… the party planner who was pushing to become a New Jersey Housewife?
Seems that Elvira thought that her businesses were going to be big moneymakers… party planning and SpaceOdyssey. Apparently, things did not go as planned for Elvira… as NorthJersey.com reports:
Elvira Grau, the Englewood-based party planner who appeared on “The Real Housewives of New Jersey,” and her husband have lost their $3 million Cresskill home to foreclosure. It’s one of a growing number of high-end foreclosures — a sign that housing distress is not limited to lower-income neighborhoods.
Elvira and James Grau own Space Odyssey, a former warehouse in Englewood that they bought in 2005 and turned into a 26,000-square-foot entertainment venue. Elvira Grau made an appearance on “The Real Housewives” reality show in 2010, planning a party for one of the show’s stars, Teresa Giudice. But the Graus were apparently not able to keep up with the $17,500 monthly payments.

These people were greedy and again they had so many bills that they didn’t pay, how long did they think they could get away with it without losing something. I don’t feel bad at all for anyone like that. Sorry, but I pay my bills every month and do not buy anything on credit. I couldn’t sleep at night if I did.
Betting that yhe Manzos won’t be able to unload their home anytime soon — too much competition. Maybe Big Albert is just lying again about a residence for another faux job with the state of New Jersey…..probably needs those health benefits for Chridefer’s lapband.
Or maybe it is a shady move to look financially favorable in their favor (broke) for when he loses his brownstone lawsuit for traeating his employees like crap.
Or maybe he is going to stay with Jill and Mommy Caro & Lauren can share an apt in same building as her precious, worthless sons.

Wouldn’t surprise me. It’s just funny she’s convinced herself everyone cares about her opinion & I think looking over this season & some of the last, the publishers may back out before it hits the shelves. She’s tried so hard to make herself important to T & the rest that she’s lost alot of the support she might have had in the first season or two. You have to admit , funny how that played itself out.I can understand Jax not telling her the truth, I suspect she doesn’t know it herself. But why can’t Al Sr. or any of the kids speak the truth to her? You can watch someone like that & see them come unwound. Surely someone in her “fambily” gets it.? I guess they know they can’t fix the problem but geezzz wouldn’t you say something to a family member that seem to getting a little too close to the ledge of loony with the bittersness etc.? Just makes me wonder.

Stop hating on Caroline. If you are familiar with Jersey and know where she lives you could see her being home alone all day gets lonely and the house is way too big. There home is not paid off although they probably could pay it off it necessary. It needs lots of work so why would her kids want it. And for the record the brownstone is not having financial troubles. My company has booked 5 events with them for the upcoming year.”

Pleasure to meet you Bobbi! Had to go see what I wrote. Yeah I think that statement by real or faux kim g was just silly. A successful business does not equal wealth. Its a good start. But even kids know you have to spend less than you make. And I think prior to HW chuck and al probably did just that. It takes tons of money to start a business and they have started TWO in the last couple of years. Blk and Cafface. Chris Laurita could not have put “his” money out for blk or the govt will be coming for it. If he even has any left.
If that house needs a lot of work why wasn’t it repaired? That’s completely ridiculous especially considering your house is one of the biggest investments an individual will ever make. Who wants to buy a broke down McMansion? I’m sure those 5 events are quite the windfall for the Brownstone. LOL. They can overbook until customers are sitting on the roof and spilling out the window but if it isn’t managed well…..
JMO Caroline has turned bitter and nasty the past two seasons and I am curious what the real truth is. Financial? Marital? Only time will tell!
