Ansolutely true Tre, jealousy is the key. Dina is successful and has her own show ( it doesn’t matter how bad or good it is, she still has her own show), she’s younger better version of Caroline. Dina is not jealous beacuse she has no reason – she’s not dependable on her husband any more and she is a brand herself almost like Tre. Look at Melissa Kathy Caroline Bubba Jax – all dependable on their husbands with zero talent and personality.

Why do you think it is a fake friendship, I think they have been friends for over 10 yrs. Maybe Jac should look into why Dina is not friends with Caro as well as other family is not in Caros camp. Just watching the show last night I wouldn’t be in the same room with Caro much less be friends with her.

Dina has made it crystal clear that while they’re still friends, they’re distant friends and they keep it all very light. I don’t buy into Dina’s chill facade. It’s apparent that the disdain and drama is right under the surface with her.

Jax did the smart thing. Caro is a bully and at the end of the day Jax knows Tre is not that bad of a person and that the whole Caro/Tre thing is all fabricated and blown out of proportion. Jax made her peace with Tre and if she is content with the level of their friendship that is her business. It’s despicable that Caro accuses Tre of being a bully and saying if someone is not her friend then Jax can’t be friends with her. Hello pot calling the kettle black, umm that is exactly what you are doing and have been doing all along. I feel for Jax. She has the whole fraud/bankruptcy thing, the autism issue with her son, the drama with her Ashley and dealing with Caro tryin to tell her what to do and who she should be friends with. I would probably be drinking all day long as well.
It is no that I disagree with you that much, but I cant see the smart thing in calling Dina out? That is not exatly gonna keep the peace in her husbands family. Dina is her husbands sister too. If only Jax knew how to keep on taking the smart choices.
I have a had time sympathysing with her, because I cant imagine having all of that going on, and most of all her sons condition and then focusing your time and energy on hating on a former friend.
I just cant relate to her. I know HW is her work, but that dont make me understand how she could skip the reunion because of T, but not a weeks vaca away from her newly diagnosed autistic son.
Maya I don’t think that she left her son behind. From what I remember reading they had a joint family vacation and a lot more Laurita’s showed up at the house they rented. I do have to say this, I have a friend that has a son diagnosed with Autism and the road has been very hard for them. That being said, as a mother myself, I can understand if Jax needed a small break to recharge herself. Being a full time at home mom is no joke, especially if you throw in an Autistic child. As long as her son was in the care of her parents, in-laws or her husband, I see nothing wrong with her taking a small break for herself.
Plus she was under contract she had to go Bravo could sue her if she didnt.
Like she didn’t go the reunion and went drinking instead? Like that?

Caro is absolutely the bully. Everyone falls in line with each word she deems true in her own head. I would have done the same thing as Jaq……She is in the middle hoping to mend her friendhsip with Tre and keep peace in her husbands family for her marraige’s sake. If Caro cared so much about her new friends and the mending of their family she would have kept her big trap shut. The cookbook and the magazine articles cannot be changed. It was no skin off her nose anyway since she was already “done” with Tre.

The fighting on HW’s is completely petty & silly, I didn’t even know about any of it because I stayed away. I am allowed to support a friend with her launch, a friend who always supported me. I didn’t bash my family at all, I assured Teresa that the BS wouldn’t hurt our relationship as long as she didn’t “hurt” my sister. A joke in a book is stupid, yes, but not grounds for me to hate a friend of 15 yrs & the mother of my Goddaughter. IMO. I think she hates the bs and nonsense that surrounds her now. Things were fun a few years ago,now it’s dark. Friendships change through the years,doesn’t mean you don’t care. She’s Audriana’s godmother and it probably does mean something to Dina. I hate to say it but…I question Tre’s motives when she made her gm. Most people choose a family member,unless you don’t have any or aren’t close.
Tree admires Dina and sees her as a positive role model for Audriana. Godmothers are
supposed to provide spiritual guidance to their godchild so chosing a godmother has more to do with soul than it has to do with blood.
I’m Catholic,I understand that. IMO families usually choose family members,because family is forever. Friends come and go,but your family is always your family. I like Dina,but Tre’s choice is odd to me (especially for Italian families).
Dont forget.. Teresa also has 3 other children. She chose family members for all 3 of the others, including Joe and Melissa. Kind of gets tuff when you have a bunch of kids. A 15 yr friendship sounds pretty stable. I am also Cathic and Family is always FIRST. But more then 1 child with the same godparents isn’t really common!
Yeah but maybe not. Would you want hooka Meho “On display On display” as your child’s Godparent? Or Joe , who refers to his own sister as “gahbage” as God father? It is great that Dina came to Tre’s party to show her support. Obviously they have a pretty good friendship as she clearly states on FB. The best part about it is it shows Caroline she has no impact on them.
Yup..whatever people “hear on the street” Dina DOES front for Tree and conversely Caroline doesn’t currently lift a finger to show public support for Dina’s show or Ladybug. Dina’s stickin’ it to Chuck by publicly supporting Tree anyway you slice it… and I like that. Dina’s a sly dog..love her.

I think Dina went to Tre’s launch because she wanted to go. She probably doesn’t like being “told” what to do or say from Caroline. I don’t blame her. I could see how Caroline probably butts in and tells Dina what to do or think all the time and she is tired of it.

I did live in NJ from 2008-2011. I’m amazed that more dirt didn’t surface about all of these women and their families. It’s all fake, and they don’t seem to be too nice. They haven’t tried to hide their nastiness. People from Montville to NYC have all seen/heard stories (some, firsthand) about these dirtbags.
I live in NJ and know the Manzos are as crooked and fake as they come. Our Gov. Christie knows Big A Manzo is shady ..common knowledge in NJ like I said. Loyal MsSH readers also know this is OLD NEWS. I’ve met Dina,Tree, Jac and Chuckie at a charity event a few years ago..they don’t act like dirt bags (more like ditz bags LOL)..Dina has more class than any of them…but I really liked Tree too.

I remember not liking Dina or Caroline at the end of Season 1. I thought they bullied the absolute sh-t out of Danielle & even though Danielle was crazy/not a good person, the whole “Cop Without a Badge” saga was so absurd. At the time, it seemed that they didn’t just not want to be friends with Danielle, they didn’t want anyone else to be friends with Danielle either.
Now, this is entirely speculation & based upon what I’ve read here on SH, but I have really changed my opinion about Dina. I think Caroline Manzo thought that RHONJ was going to be her family’s show & when Dina dipped out because it was too much drama, that not only sunk the Manzo/Laurita fambily cookbook idea, it also sunk the idea of the Manzo/Laurita show. Teresa’s family joining the show was the nail in Caroline’s control freak coffin. I think the reason why Dina is “taking Teresa’s side” is because she is fighting with Caroline over all of the perceived loss of mutual success. Dina got her own show, her own paycheck (which I wonder… how does it compare to a Bravo paycheck? I’d be interested to hear that info if it could ever be discovered!) & Caroline got to see what she thought was going to be her family’s show turn into Teresa’s show. I think Bravo is editing the Dina/Teresa friendship to seem more nefarious than it really is because they know they lost a good character when Dina quit on them.
Dina was not asked to return to the show and was given the cover of leaving because of the Drama. If you recall Dina’s husband and daughter could no longer film and she no longer had a story line. Dina wanted all the ladies minus Danielle to refuse to be on the show without her. When they didn’t the rift began and Dina didn’t speak to any of them until Teresa showed up on her doorstep upset about arguing with Caroline and Jacqueline. It does explain the statements that have been made on both sides.Teresa claims Caroline didn’t support Dina and Caroline blames Teresa for the problems she has with Dina.

I think Dina is a classy lady. I happen to like her show and believe me it’s MY OWN OPINION, I’m not asking anyone to like it. Saturday a lady from Alpine had Dina come to her mansion, (THAT’S WHERE THE $) is, she wanted to do a charity bazzar sort of thing for project LADYBUG. What a wonderful job Dina and crew did. The did it to raise the money for a yoga class in I think Brooklyn for project ladybug there…Please don’t hold me to all the details because I may not be 100% correct in all of it. They needed $5000 and they raised over $5300. ALL THE PROCEEDS WENT TO PROJECT LADYBUG. Dina even was able to sell her shirts. NO MIDDLE MAN… Thank you Dina you are a wonderful person.
I think it is unfortunate that people take the Giudice’s legal problems so lightly. We the American tax payers are absorbing their bankruptcy while they continue to live beyond their means. They need to downsize. Sell that ugly mansion and take the excessive clothing to the consignment shop. Dina and Teresa are two peas in a pod. Money hungry women that love things and have failed marriages. What a joke!

Wats funny is they aren’t the only ones on this show stealing money from tax payers. But let’s see if that ever comes up in a reunion or interview. That is what is meant when people on this site say that T has been repeatedly attacked unwarranted. Why is her business the only business to be splashed across the show and all the magazine pages.
If you aren’t familiar with the big ol problems Christopher and Jax are having then I suggest you catch up on all of that.Ms. SH has done an excellent job covering it. To me it is slightly worse than what Joe did. There are certainly far worse legal ramifications. And Miss Melissa’s hubby isn’t really an upstanding businessman either. Nor is Kathy’s husband. Let us also not forget about the trouble Al Sr. had with his faux address. They all have been shady.
