After giving it great thought, and although the trashed comments/emails are of great interest to readers, there is no reason to further subject anyone to the disgusting, vile words aimed at this site. To continue would be allowing whomever sent the words to infect SH; trashed comments, however, will be included in book form.

I wonder if C doesn’t realize the only reason Dina is in a bad spot is because C is her sister & she’s bound to love the woman. If this were coming from someone she didn’t care about it wouldn’t matter to Dina at all & she could just ignore the clown. But in this case so much of the drama seems to come from her sister who seems to need the attention of acting like a clown. In terms of letting go, I suspect Caroline is the type who doesn’t have much happiness & needs to mess with Tre to feel like she matters. Not her sister’s problem & someone as Zen as Dina shouldn’t let the stressed out Caro’ make it her problem.

I visit several sites to read about the Housewives programs. In most of the sites I see comments that prove that sutpidity of humanity at its finest. This site has brought me many, may hours of enjoyment and 97% of time the comments are well done and don’t cross the line the way they do at other sites (and you know who those are!) I am disappointed to see that you have these parasites and layabouts sending you such asinine comments but I know it comes with the territory. This is my fan letter to you: your blog is fantastic and has wit and interesting info I do not find on other sites, and for that you are up in the #1s!

Yes, this. My husband thinks I’m insane for watching these shows and always sees me on SH. He said to me flat out “you are too smart to be so into this” and in a way he’s right. But I explained that this blog at least makes you read comments that aren’t asinine (most of the time because there are some that sneak through.) The information here is logical and most of the commentators on here are perceptive and bright (as well as entertaining and sarcastic) so that the stories and dialog shared aren’t sophomoric.
My husband said yesterday that if I see him with a hammer I should be worried. I asked why because I’m going to kill your laptop if you don’t spend less time on SH. Hell then I would have to shoot his golf clubs and use another laptop! We have come to an agreement I won’t shoot his golf clubs and he won’t kill my laptop.

I think the whole season was a set up by Caro to get Tre off the show because she is a vindictive jealous witch. Can’t stand that it has become “The Theresa Show”. But guess what Chuckie, after calling the fans and your daughter assholes, the tide has changed. Chuckie and Lapband’s entire storyline season 4 was the crying about a sentence or two in a cookbook. Meanwhile, Tre finished and published successfully cookbook #3, and is onto bigger and brighter things. Chuckie and Lap, not so much.
And thank you Miss SH for allowing me to retain my sanity by posting here instead of screaming at the TV.
I think that is why Caroline broke down last night. She had to fight about something so stupid & could not bring up why she really hates Tre (i.e. the fight in Punta Cana)….None of the other HW’s were stupid enough to make a sound….she cried because it was the nail in the coffin of the Manzo’s ride to stardom. She is the ultimate victim.
duffydan, your post made me think of Jon Gossling. I wonder if it has ever occured to chuck and crew that they could end up like that. I saw a blip in a mag about him the other day. He was just standing there in construction clothes and he was complaining about not being able to pay child support. That man went from having a hit show and making tons of money to thinking he was a true blue celebrity and losing every cent he made. I don’t even see Kate anymore. I think the Manzos should think about the possibility they might be pulling a Jon Gossling.

i know i am going to get flak for this, but i still enjoy caroline. i dont always agree with her behavior or what she says but i do enjoy her. i respect tre’s work ethic, her love for her kids but beyond that i have no use for her except to laugh at her butchering of english. my son asks why i watch these shows, they crack me up! i can watch these and feel so much better about my life, lol.
I don’t think the commentators need English lessons to comment on the sight. I think those of us that are grammar impaired should be given a pass. I don’t think intimidation is the way to go.
Rahrah: SH has lightened up on commenter’s grammar usage after finding that many use various devices (iPad, iPhone, etc.) to comment. These devices often are the cause of the grammar errors. As much as we like using the English language correctly, we’ve accepted that these devices are often the source of the problem! TFC!! SH
I can assure you that my grammatical errors are do to my lack of educations not my devices. I hate to admit but it’s true. Wish I had a better excuse but I can’t come up with one. Spell check is my new best friend.

Edison was told he was too stupid to learn anything. Winston Churchill failed 6th grade. You get the point. Never let someone tell you grammar is the only way to effectively convey your message. We are smart in different ways, and those who only hear grammatically correct people lose the most. Everyone has something of value to offer, if only we all listened to them equally.

I was being sarcastic. I was a dental hygienist (at the time one of the best careers for women) and branched out from there to be a successful clothes designer and later an artist. I’m not even going to mention partners in a multimillion dollar culinary company. It gives me room to be humble because luck has been a good friend. My language skills have never held me back.

I agree with this statement, 100%, SH. There are many reasons that posters give for not writing coherently. To *me*, it’s a personal feeling. I was raised to convey our thoughts coherently. Of course there are billionaires that have dropped out of college and have been successful. The other side of the coin is that there are way too many people that have graduated with multiple degrees and they still can’t speak coherently. It’s a dying art, to be able to write and speak using correct grammar.

Everyone’s entitled to their opinion. No flak here. I enjoyed Caroline in the first season. But I think that for all those on the show their celebrity (and I use that term loosely but can’t figure another word that is right) has just gotten to their heads and they forgot who they are and how to be themselves. Instead their actions are dictated by their greed and necessity for more and more attention.

I will still agree with Caroline, the book piece was a low blow and was not funny in the least and for Dina not to take a step backwards and realize her sister feeling were really hurt, did Dina notice how classy her friend Tre was grabbing Kathy’s face on numberous times after Kathy asked her not too; when it comes to sisters if Rosie would have been there Tre would have never touched Kathy or Rosie would have made sure Tre didn’t grab her again. That Tre one classy chick??????????

i think we see what the editors want us to see, and there is much more to all of this. and we viewers were not there. i don’t think children should be gone after in anyway, but once they have hit the age of majority then all bets are off. the manzo kids should have shut up, they should not have made cracks, but if i remember correctly those were done after the cookbook was relased. does not make anyones actions right, but we see only what they air and not everything there is. i really think dina is keeping her bread buttered with teresa, i think she is a master at manipulating a situation and is going for broke… just my thoughts
I think the Manzoid spawn were making fun of Teresa in Season 2, after the release of her first book, ‘Skinny Italian’. The second book, with the comments that got Carowhine’s Depends all bunched up, was ‘Fabulicious’ and that didn’t come out until the end of Season 3. Chuckie and her crew had it out for Teresa even before the infamous cookbook comments.
True. I did think the remark while they were on vacation about “They’re having the same conversation over there , only with 3rd grade words.” was funny. I think it was one of the Manzo boys , they were refering to Teresa filling Joe in on a argument she had with Kathy W. (if memory serves). Anyway it was a funny remark. The Manzo boys , like there mom, didn’t come off as really mean spirited to me during the first couple of seasons. Just silly. If they are lucky they won’t totally follow in the Don’s footsteps.

Your chronology is off. Ana Cephaly below has explained it. Teresa did nothing to Caroline in Season 2. Season 4 was shot while Season 3 was airing, so if Teresa got more vicious with her words as the show continued taping, maybe the fact that she got to see what was being said behind her bad had something to do with it? Either way, Teresa apologized for being mean to Caroline on numerous occasions to Caroline’s face and Caroline accepted the apology at the beginning of this current season. If Caroline didn’t think it was sincere, she should have said so at that moment. She has no one to blame for the games and drama but herself.

True. Caro’s one of these that takes anything too harshly or wants to act hurt. Who knows maybe she’s so out of touch with her own self she is hurt, but she should think about her own actions. You can’t keep pointing out what the other did was wrong if you’re not willing to admit there is a problem there. Well she can & does but it just makes her look petty & dull.
Teresa felt perfectly safe in putting the comment about Caroline in the cookbook because Caroline was IN ON THE JOKE from the very beginning! Caroline knew that the joke had started on the Rachel Ray show, where she had laughed about it and went along with it. How should Teresa know that she would be insulted by it?? It was a reference to a shared experience between Caroline and Teresa, and certainly never meant as an insult. Caroline is just pretending that it hurt her feelings because she needed an excuse to hate Teresa.
The mean things that Caroline & Co. have said about Teresa have been behind Teresa’s back, without her knowledge until she viewed the episodes. That’s low. I don’t see how you can find the fault is Teresa’s in this.
And I don’t think Teresa is afraid of Rosie lol. I thought it was pretty low of Kathy to try to make it look like Teresa was “getting physical” with her for doing nothing more than grabbing her chin

Yeah I think being the baby, I think taught her to really look at the whole picture. From what Caro says , she was in the middle & I think it cost her any real sense of self. Does the BRAVO blogs seem more rigged than usual to anyone else? The comments to Kathy are rightfully brutal, but the support for Caroline is off the charts! Could there be that many supporters of this hateful beotch? And if purposefully rigged, why? Did BRAVO defend Jill Zarin that way at any point?
Of course they are rigged. They only post the comments that they chose. If you notice the comments that support Chuckie outnumber the negative comments, yet the positive comments have very few “likes” whereas the negative comments have dozens of “likes”. It is obvious that Bravo is over sampling the positive comments. The why of it, though, I don’t understand. Why is Bravo so vested in protecting Chuckie from negative feedback.
But Nene isn’t wearing her “own” shoes!! What’s the matter, Nene – can’t wear those $39.95 shoes? Not rich enough for ya??
