LeAnn had this chick’s phone number and decided to give her a buzz and chat to the chick, trying to convince her that LeAnn’s a nice person!
“Kimberly Smiley says she was amazed when she answered her phone on March 26 and was greeted by LeAnn Rimes saying, “Hey bitch, this is LeAnn. You have five minutes to say whatever you want to me!”
Smiley says Rimes was at lunch with two of her acquaintances from Twitter, who provided the singer with her phone number.
“In the summer of 2010, I started following Leann on Twitter, because she supported Jimmy Wayne [a country artist who was walking across the U.S. to raise awareness for foster youth],” Smiley tells me. “I immediately noticed how much she tweeted certain people and I found it strange. I was blocked by LeAnn immediately after I started speaking to Brandi [Glanville] fans on Twitter.”
Smiley says she has since been harassed by Rimes’ Twitter fans and even had her place of employment and child’s school address posted on the social media site. Friends of Rimes told me that she too has felt harassed on Twitter many times. Just last week, LeAnn got into a Twitter fight with a person who said she “cheated” (Rimes and husband Eddie Cibrian met while she was still married to Dean Sheremet and he was married to Glanville).

I read an article about Leanne a few weeks ago.She’s a wierdo.She should have ignored or blocked the fan if it bothered her so much.She must be feeling guilt from her part of breaking up Brandi’s marriage-that or some karma.Sad too….she has excellent vocals….too bad she’s a loon.
it feels like big portions of the real story are missing. People reactions are not matching what they say happened.
ps. SH you are one of the few bloggers that I would look at the blocks below for , because your site has good content and is a nice distraction from work somedays I don’t mind doing it at all. I actually found a few good sites.
People are cuckoo cuckoo on Twitter & Facebook. They put too much energy & faith into celebrities & reality personalities.
I write a blog as a hobby. It ends there. Yet, certain individuals act as if I’ve sold there 12 year old child to a pimp when I write, ” ___________ has the loyalty of a cat in heat.” I don’t get why they are so mad about my opinion of someone who is on television. Right now there is a fan page which bashes my partner and me. We’re not even on television. Certain members of the group seem fixated on finding out who I am & claiming to have pictures of me.
Some of them even make physical threats if they were ever meet me.
Yes, I’ve noticed that myself, many in society defend cheating celebrities, wrongs are exalted to rights, its bizarre, because if it were to happen to them, they wouldn’t be so quick to dismiss such an absence of integrity
Sorry you have to deal with that, I think it’s terrible. I could not imagine defending ANY of these housewives to the point that I would threaten someone. Why would someone get that obssessed with these stoopid losers?
That being said, I don’t care how much of this story is missing LeAnn is a kook!! WTF? Calling fans? Why on earth would you get down in the mud and wallow? Guess twitter has burst the little bubbles of a lot of celebs lately. It must be hard to hear the truth and not just have the “yes” people that they usually surround themselves with. Twitter puts them shoulder to shoulder with the real fans. Scary.
