About Stoopid Housewives

The Real Housewives franchises have become a guilty pleasure for me and I've become intrigued by 'normal' people who would agree to put their lives on television for public display and scrutiny. What are their motives to divulge their daily routines for viewing audiences to approve, reprimand, berate, castigate, attack; basically abuse and judge? Oh, just forget about the above nonsense... the majority of these people are just stoo-pid.

    That was funny as hell.

  2. donewithbravo says:

Didn’t like it. Besides that, most old money (aka REAL) lives on LI, and they’d never be filmed nor brag about their belongings like these other fakers do. Maybe there should be a show where these “real” housewives are the housekeeper for the REAL REAL wealthy people of LI?? :)

  3. Bill says:

I always think, if the RHONJ had money, they would not be on the Jerkey Shore. They would be in the Hamptons and yes, not bragging. Who cares if you have a place on the Jerkey Shoredump. YA think we are too blind to see it?

    • Hey, that’s not nice….I live on the Jersey Shore and where I am it’s surely not a dump…..

      • Bill says:

Sorry Barb, no disrepect to you. I was commenting on them-the cast- being a dump. I know there are nice places on the JS.

        • If you’re talking about Lavalette I grew up there my parents owned a home on Baltimore Ave…..Lavalette is no slum that’s for sure and the board walk they were on was Point Pleasant not Sea Side…

      • Jo says:

Lots of nice places down the shore ;)

        • donewithbravo says:

umm hmm………… where you have to PAY to walk on the beach!!!!!!!!!! Unreal!! The first time I was there, I thought I was caught in a carnival. The fact that you have to pay to park and then PAY to walk on the beach, is unbelievable to me. The water wasn’t too blue and the atmosphere was carnival-like. Sorry. Maybe some of the houses are nice/decent, but you couldn’t pay me to live there!!!!!!!!!! The Hamptons, it’s NOT!

    • Antonella says:

Not everyone wants to spend the time on the road in bumper to bumper traffic to go to the Hamptons. It’s a nightmare. To be honest, I would rather drive 15 minutes to get to Newark Airport, hope a plane to Myrtle Beach and you are on the beach in less time than to drive to either Jersey Shore or East Hampton. A lot less money too!!

      • donewithbravo says:

WRONG!!! I traveled, every Friday afternoon, from May until September, to the Hamptons, from the North Shore of LI. It took me about 35 minutes. No bumper-to-bumper traffic. Just gorgeous blue skies with fluffy cotton-like clouds. No boomboxes. No drinking. No teenagers. or youngish 20 year olds. No smartmouth hillbillies. Just pristine sand and water and EXCELLENT food, bands and a vacation-like atmosphere. It was like a dream!!!!!!!!!!! It was the anthesis of NJ beaches; sorry!

        • MissMaryMac says:

I live here year round…and the traffic from the Cidiots is insane…..

          • lisa the Irish Dragon says:

Yea it Looks real bad On Royal Pains ; )

          • donewithbravo says:

I lived there year round also (well, on LI), for over 40 years. It was never an issue, unless there was an accident or it was a holiday.

            • donewithbravo says:

(Lisa: It’s not bad; at ALL!! and it’s much more gorgeous and pristine than NC or SC or FL. Wish I could afford to live back there again!!!!!!)

      • Girlfriend says:

        Take a helicopter

        • originalcyn1 says:

I cheated and had my own beach made at home. All I have to do is walk out my front door. I do have to share with my beloved cranes, blue heron and a pesky occasional eagle stealing my Koi but otherwise it is bliss.

  4. madepiley says:

    I think that was funny.

  5. madepiley says:

Maybe they should do a parody of real ex-husbands of bravo.

    • romoshedint says:

Now you’re talking! Let’s get LoveThemAndLeaveEmHarry from NY to give us the skinny. Well maybe not. Yes, we want it. It’s better than what we’ve seen this season anyway. Bet they could get Donn from the OC too. Bob Whitfield would be a hoot to throw in the mix. Mmhmm
I want the real folks. No parody. Hear that COHEN?

      • Girlfriend says:

Oh romo that’s what i said before, bravo should have booked HARRY, the perfect putz and rogue all in one

    • Girlfriend says:

I’m done with these housewives, ANDY its time to change, we’ve given you some ideas to jump start the new show.

  6. kel says:

That was funny, I hope some of the RHONJ took housekeeping notes for when they’re off the show and gotta resort to toilet scrubbin..

  7. IMSpyC says:

    Too funny!!!

  8. romoshedint says:

:-D I liked the maid that just eats bananas instead of working and is plotting to kill them.
