TV), Ronnie Karam (TVgasm.com), and Ben Mandelker (bsideblog) dive straight into the mess, starting with yet another bonkers episode of “Real Housewives of New York City.” The guys tackle everything from Sonja’s dog to Aviva’s charity to Ramona’s butt to Heather’s outfits. Then it’s on to Jersey to discuss Joe Giudice’s mystery phone call, among other things. Finally, the guys wrap up with their new favorite show, “Gallery Girls,” and happily take down each and every one of the girls on the cast.

Ramona Singer was out signing some of her Pinot bottles outside of Philadelphia. Although Ramoaner got her fans, Dan Akyroyd was a bigger draw last year!
From MorningCall… Ramona Singer, five-season star of RHONY signed bottle after bottle of her Ramona Singer Pinot Grigio during a two-hour stop at the Crest Plaza Boulevard Wine and Spirits Store in South Whitehall Township.
Although she wasn’t as big a draw as Dan Akroyd (his fans filled every aisle and trailed out onto the sidewalk when he visited to promote his Crystal Head Vodka in June 2011), Singer’s fans are a dedicated bunch who filled a single line that stretched from the front to the back of the store.

DO get the tradition of after sharing a great bottle of wine or champagne, all who partook in the drinking sign the label and one person receives the signed label as a remembrance of a great evening. Ramona is beautiful and her Pinot is great!!! Of course a famous star like Dan Akroyd will draw a bigger crowd. That’s a silly comparison anyway.

I think it means the videos and items of intrest stories at the bottom of the page right above them it says “content From Sponsors, by Taboola” .Is that what you mean Ms Sh? Can you see them Girlfriend? Have heard that ipad users have difficulty with that.

Ok I cant remember what the remedy is to fix this problem. Ms SH can you help? Because the interest links at the bottom are cool. For instance just clicked on the story of the Honey doo boo child’s momma being visited by child protective services over what she feeds the child. Redbull, roadkill and pixie sticks… the breakfast of pageant champions I say. Also a constitutional right to eat whatever the frick ya want to. Meanwhile the overloaded CPS cant ever seem to deal with real abuse in a timely manner. Tax payer dollars yall.

I was just jokin about the Redbull. Micky D’s hamburgers and fries aint good toddler food either but everyone would go apechit if they came and started snatching up chubby kids and putting them in McDonalds jail. But seriously, I was mostly making a comment on the tyranny behind such nanny-state actions taken by a government agency one THE PEOPLE. Slippery slope and such. That magazine cover is hideous. How much of that is photo chopping vs. her having half her face removed. Very frightening. She is up there with Heidi Montag now. Yuck, not beautiful at all.
Now with all the cosmetic surgery going on, children will no longer look like their mothers or fathers. These people are changing the way they look just for a couple of more years of youth looking? I would rather stay the way I am and let nature take it’s course. When people see me they see my daugther and so on. This botox and nose/eye surgery is changing all of that. I would rather look like my daugther but older so she can see how beautiful she wil be in 20 years. Beauty is skin deep but these women are taking it to a whole new level and it’s not attractive. I’m not saying I’m so beautiful but at least it is what it is. No enhancements.

I agree. I’m fine with fillers & botox, which will wear off & don’t change the way you look if you don’t go overboard.
But messing about with the actual structure of your face (unless its just getting a really, really big nose changed a bit) usually just makes people look like a weird version of themselves.
I thought the same thing, when I saw MeGo’s pics my first thought was,I always thought Antonia looked just like her, now she doesn’t anymore. Is that going to make Antonia feel like she needs to change her looks later on because they weren’t good enough for mommy? Personal feelings aside for Melissa, she is a pretty girl I’m not sure why she changed her looks. She looks odd now.

I think Melissa got some injectables–she looks different around the eyes, kind of like how Kim Kardashian started looking weird and more cat-like recently. Dumb girls, they certainly don’t need it.

Very true, all these injectables actually make these young women look older, frozen, and they all begin to look alike. The homogenization of the female. I wonder, is this an American thing?
yes, I don’t see it as much in Europe as I do in the U.S. I was in Antwerp one day and I saw a woman walking down the street. She had these giant lips and was so thin it made her look like a bobble head. She was dressed in very expensive designer clothes (think Olsen twins with dark hair} I told my daughter I bet she is American. She ended up sitting down in the same cafe as us and when she ordered coffee, sure enough, American. She really stood out like a sore thumb. I see some of it creeping in here but nothing like the U.S.

Mel does look different around the eyes, I think her nose looks the same, her teeth might look a bit smaller too.
My guess on Mel is def got her nose thinned out and some injectables cheek area…and sumthin with those eyes…not sure what
I think Mego got injections below her eyes to get rid of all that baggage she had – probably used same procedure and Doc that Jax did…
my guess is under eye bag surgery and a mid face lift .. either that or they are air brushing out the little pouches she used to have

i hate hate hate talking about the children but i gotta say this: Antonia always look so sad, even when she smiles…I feel bad for her…specially because i think that when Melignant finally realises she wont be a star, she will try to make her daughter a mini-Melignant.

If your parents acted a fool on national television week after week, you’d look sad too. And I just noticed that Antonia looks kinda like – dare I say it – TERESA. At least in that photo she does. She definitely has the Gorga hairline. She’s adorbs. All 3 of them are.

If she’s lucky she won’t follow in momma Meliss’ footsteps & turn out void. If you know what I mean. Maybe seeing her mom act phony & cling to other people’s opinions all the time will help her learn not to be that way , to get out & live a real life. Have her own mind. Sad to see.
MeGo tweeted last season that Antonia was in something for Nickelodeon. A commercial, maybe? Not sure if Antonia is still pursuing acting.
Ive been noticing the same thing about Antonia. Such a gorgeous little girl but void of happiness and sometimes even emotion. I’m sure if she’s tall enough, when she becomes a teen and developes some brand of desirable angst she could go the model route. She reminds me a lot of what Danielles oldest would have acted like at that age, personality wise.
She seems fake, nothing she says seems real. Her emotions don’t seem real at all. I know alot of these shows have at least some “script” or set up , but you can tell by Teresa’s humor & Caroline’s anger/envy problems that it’s not totally fake. Just the Meliss part i/m/o.

What is happening to Ramona is called aging. You can fill, plump, lipo suck, nip, starve, overexercise – but you will get older. Women who freak out at the reality of growing older and get photoshopped and get butt injections and wear mini skirts and try to act like flirty 18 year olds are tragic characters. Too bad for Ramona that she is provincial and needs to stay tight in NYC. She should exercise her passport and learn that in most other countries, older women are considered beautiful and are respected for their intelligence and ability to engage in conversation – not dominate conversation by screeching. She needs to get out of her 8 block radius in NYC.

I Found New Yorkers, such as Sonjat and Ramona who claims that they only stay in THEIR neighborhood in NYC as IGNORANTS…A true New Yorker KNOWS NYC…point blank….EVERY highways and byways. I think The Vanderkemps are true New Yorkers…they seem to KNOW EVERY part of New York…NOT just what they hear.
I’d have to disagree. NYers are notoriously provincial geographically. We often refuse to travel uptown (or downtown) to socialize. I wouldn’t be caught dead on the yupper west side, for example. Many also will not go to the outerboroughs. This is changing somewhat because of housing prices (brooklyn is now tres faconnable, for instance), but provincialism is a part of the city’s fabric. How well do you know Staten Island?
MeGo definitely had a nose job and something weird’s going on with her chin…think I’ll call her Spinach Chin just for the heck of it.
Yep..Melissa definitely has somehow reduced the bags under her eyes, both photos show her smiling about the same and one has bags, one doesn’t. Course, second photo could have been photoshopped, even by her.
She may have had something implanted in her chin area to widen the point she has..a plastic surgeon would have to weigh in on that..we need another current photo with a full front view.
But the biggest difference for me is that she took that part outta the middle of her fivehead and lightened & high-lighted her hair.(including her eyebrows). Combined with a different cheek color and light pink/coral lipstick (and minus eye-bags) she has really transformed her look for the better IMHO.
Having had a full face lift, Life Style lift 10 years after that, body lipo-suction, AND a true believer in “Color Me Beautiful” I feel more than qualified to comment ;D).
Seymor- liked your post. Curious – what’s the difference between full face lift and Life Style lift? Which is less painful??? As I am getting older – I am thinking about these things a lot more seriously.
Full face plastic surgery is major surgery, lifting & cutting excess skin, tightening muscles, the full gamet of eye procedures(if you want it), and is not something to enter into lightly. The Life Style procedure is a minor in-patient (I think should be done by Board Certified Dermatologist or Plastic Surgeon in case there is a reaction not expected) procedure that involves a placing plastic barbed needle/ stent that transverses under the skin and has the ability to “lift” the surrounding tissue to reduce sagging, wrinkles etc. Again, it is minor compared to major plastic surgery.
The “lift” was a touch-up for me and I had complications from it..staph infection for one. Sorry everyone if this was too much info for the board.
All the housewives probably have free procedures done for the promotion of the doctor. But everyone should know that almost all plastic surgeons and/or dermatologists give a free one on one consult the first office visit. Just ask the office staff. They will be glad to fill you in on charges.
Hope this helps a little on researching before commiting to any surgical procedure..doing your homework is important at any age!

Seymour is the lifestyle lift worth it? Is it better to wait a little and then go forthe full face lift that gets more done and lasts longer ? What do you think? Are you happy w the outcome?
The Life Style Lift (which, by the way, I had done at a board certified Dermatologist’s office and they did not call it that then..around 2007) is a procedure that can only do so much lifting..if you get my drift. Too much pulling up or sideways will cause too much skin behind the endzone…only way to describe it. A person would then need to have a real surgical procedure done to remove the excess skin the lifting produces…so no Life Style Lift will do major work..again, I’m not trying to be a doctor..you need to consult one before you do anything, minor or major. The Life Style Lift was minor pain..they numb the area the tubing goes into..the aftermath is not bad if there are no complications. I swelled up like a bullfrog in heat afterwards from fluid accumulation..but that’s just my system… the full facelift was extremely painful many days of recuperation..major surgery.
Price difference is another consideration, as well as the areas you need done. I’m glad I had both done, I was 50 when I had a full face lift with eye help also..facial dermabrasion. And 60 when I had my eyebrows at the corners lifted and my cheeks pulled up again to remove lines around mouth and nose.
Would I do it again at 66 yrs…NO. My jowls and lines are here to stay since I stopped taking female hormones 3 years ago..all went kaput anyway! I yam what I yam now!
I’d say do the full monty when you need it at the youngest age, then touch it up later. It keeps you feeling your best with no major break in one’s appearance that causes tongues to wag..because when you hit full menopause or when you stop taking hormones..those lines and fat pads are gonna get everyone!
Ask the Dr. how long your skin type can be expected to look reasonably good with either procedure. Good luck with whatever you decide.

)!! Pulling the curtain back can only help someone make a better informed decision. These shows tend to make women think all these procedures are a must to be happy. Nothing could be further from the truth. My husband did not want me to do the procedures. Not because of the money, but because he, to this day, calls me “his bride” & will always see me as the 21 year old he fell in love with..I did the plastic surgeries for myself, because I didn’t like what I saw at 50..turkey jowls, eye crepe, and a tired looking lady who was a crackerjack inside. Research, research, and then ask your heart why you want it…best of luck with whatever the decision.
im still too young for a facelift ive got a decade to go, but its good to hear about other ppls experiences. it sounds like getting the full lift @ 50 when your not in bad shape is the best idea, then continue from there. i know ppl who get their eyes done before 35 already….crazy. but some ppl dont age well i guess they dont live cleanly, it takes its toll. i havent done injections either, still a virgin, im doing okay for my 40yrs.
My mom was under 40 when she got her eyes AND chin done and then face lift at 52. She was worried that the facelift would expose her chin scar but it didn’t. Maybe they do chins different now but hers had a scar. Anyways she’s happy with it but I reckon she is done with all that now. Its just nice to know that that sorta “help” is available if ya ever start to think you need it. I have watched it being done(on tv ) and um.. not for me. But then again neither is lasik simply cause I am a big ole fraidy cat. So if I ever get it done everyone that knows me knows I will have to be in a pretty bad way.

Never thought any NJ housewives were attractive; they might be if they wore less makeup, clothes that fit and weren’t too tight and talked more respectfully to each other. It doesn’t matter what they change physically as long as they continue to battle each other they are ugly!
