Melissa Gorga from the Real Housewives of New Jersey spent a few minutes as a guest on Good Day NY yesterday morning.
Some of the highlights from her interview:
- Missy calls herself an “artist.” Which is like Tree calling herself an “awther.”
- About the Christening episode: ”There really weren’t any punches thrown… just a lot of holding each other.”
- Season 4 of the Real Housewives of New Jersey is being filmed now.
- Missy says that her single “On Display” is #14 on iTunes. Would someone please provide proof of her assertion, as “On Display” is not even listed on the Top 100 on iTunes. Where it really counts for the music industry is Billboard and neither she nor “On Display” can be found on Billboard!
- Missy wrote a ballad for JoGo.
- Missy is thrown when she’s asked to sing. Missy gives it a try, though and sings maybe five words. Missy, the “artist,” must be saving her voice until it can be thoroughly auto-tuned.
- At the end of the interview, Missy insists that she doesn’t do any “lip-singing!!!”
I love how the female interviewer pretends to not know much about the show. Awesome tactic.
She’s #14 on iTunes’ dance chart not the main chart.

Romo – it should mean the most popular download at the time. Like she was the 14th most downloaded dance single on iTunes for a hot second.
I wonder what her cut s of each 99 cent download? Cant be too much after the producers and Bravo take their chunk.
Um, I think it’s more a case of her and her family, er, “fans” doing the downloading. Kinda like how Susan Saunders buys all those books ?

I saw that interview and she reminded me of Teresa…LYING about everything to the camera. You now know for sure they’ll all related. I wonder if she worries about the ” housewife curse”?

Btw, I read lots of gossip/entertainment sites online, and other than those which specifically focus on the Real Housewives, I don’t ever see pics/read anything related to Melissa. So where is she on display? I have yet to see paparazzi pics of her all over the place! Even Kate Gosselin has more paps following her! Other than Bravo viewers, who else has really heard of her? LOL! I do love her irony in choosing this song, though it is an epic fail (she should have waited until she was famous). Her song is more like a busted up version of Lady Gaga’s Paparazzi song. Not that I have even listened to Mel’s song, as I just cannot bring myself to listen to the whole thing…much like gagging on the BLK water, I will leave that to the pros, Like Ms.SH and Becky!
Melissa is taking “fake it til ya make it” to a new level. She probably thinks that by acting like she is a wanted diva that the photogs are after, some dumb paps will think, gee, I gotta get after this on display chick too!
There were “no punches thrown at the Christening.” Just shots taken….which is totally appropriate at a Christening where you have a full bar and a DJ.
I know. Look Melissa wanted to be on the show so bad that it would not surprise me if she had already offered up her sons soul to the devil via that Santeria “psychic” With that in mind drunken brawls would be par for the course.
