Gotta love retakes!
I give her and the rest of the group that got out there and tried it props. I woulda liked to have seen Mego, Jax, and Chuckie at least try. Jax is plumper than some of the others, but not fat enough to never wear a swimsuit and just jump in and have fun.
She probably has the best body of them all in real life. At least her boobies are real.
What was the change of clothes — I’m either really tired or really dense.
I don’t get it either.
When the camera shows Tree’s first talking head she had on the good ole one shouldered thing then when they came back for her second TH shot she has the chicken(or was it swans?) feather outfit on.
And she had that bad hair and make-up thing going on. I think we could probably pinpoint when the additional TH was shot from that. My guess is that they decided to stress the ankle thing more after the first TH and needed her to add some stuff. “Real”?? Not so much.
BTW, I read an article about BigBrother and in an aside the author describes the “Real Housewives” as “misogynist vaudeville!”
Oh, and Caro almost drowned as a child? Why are we just hearing this for the first time? And if I had to guess I’d say she didn’t “almost drown.” No, I’m pretty sure her family was water boarding her to get her to STFU!

I can’t believe Jax wouldn’t put on a swimsuit. Aside from her being large on top she is probably a size 6 poor thing life is so tough!
Ya, I think Jax has many issues. It is really sad because when you are like that, your quality of life suffers.
jacqueline has a body image problem. i’m sure people here have had the same issue. caroline almost drowned once. no way was she going to surf. that is not hard to understand. melissa complained that the water was too cold. i think kathy and teresa did great. in fact, i think they did better than the guys. = )
I was impressed that Kathy and Teresa gave surfing a try. What I thought was very telling, though, was that the wallflowers on the beach–Caro, Jax, and MeGo– were cheering Kathy’s success, but were silent at Teresa’s. In fact, in her TTC, rather than praising Teresa’s can do attitude, Jax flipped it to criticize Teresa for being so competitive.

Kathy and Teresa I think have the same attitude when it comes to trying things, they like it, and are comptetive with themselves.. They keep trying until they can do it, alot of people are like that.
There was no reason for Jacqueline to say that, that was rude.
I took at praise for Tree from Jax.
Caro in Punta Cana had a migraine. Now she said she almost drowned…Right. Caro is the one with body image problem. I remember season 1 she was ALWAYS comparing herself to the other morons: i dont dress like them, my boobs are real, i dont wear make-up…Look at her now, after a lapband (a family tradition) and some wardrobe changes…it seems that all she want is to be like them, to dress like them.
I notice how annoyed Mel looks on the beach when Tree is getting all the camera’s attention because she is actually trying to surf. This is such a profound metaphor.
So if Chuckie doesn’t swim b/c she almost drowned as a child, what dramatic thing happened to her on the dance floor that she doesn’t dance? Or at the gym that she doesn’t work out? She is always the big sour puss, sitting on the sidelines not participating. She is a total buzz kill and oh so miserable.

Teresa learning to surf is really a feat because she can’t swim and won’t go in water past her hips or waist.
