The Gorga kids… another reality show for da Gorgas???

… and the other for New Jersey residents who have children:

“I am looking for siblings in the NJ area who have different approaches to parenting to participate in a fun, family-friendly show for a major cable network, said casting director Nicole Plesset. “For instance, one sibling may be a strict disciplinarian while the other is a free spirit-type parent.”

The show — tentatively titled “My Kids” — will explore the different parenting styles and for one day, the siblings will switch places and spend time with their nieces and nephews, Plesset said.

She’s looking for families with kids between the ages of 4 and 16.  The show will film for approximately three days — likely for a weekend — and both families will be compensated.

Plesset and True Entertainment, the production company for the project were tight-lipped about which “major cable network” would air the reality show.   NOTE:  Plesset has vast experience in casting reality shows… she has cast shows for TLC, HGTV, Lifetime and others.  Therefore, don’t assume that this new “kids” show is for Bravo!

Anyone interested in learning more about the show can contact Plesset at mykidscasting@gmail.com.

(Thanks to SH readers “Ant” and “FLPhil”!!!)

About Stoopid Housewives

The Real Housewives franchises have become a guilty pleasure for me and I've become intrigued by 'normal' people who would agree to put their lives on television for public display and scrutiny. What are their motives to divulge their daily routines for viewing audiences to approve, reprimand, berate, castigate, attack; basically abuse and judge? Oh, just forget about the above nonsense... the majority of these people are just stoo-pid.

I have a gf who has triplets. The producers of Super Nanny contacted her to ask if she wanted to appear, her name was given to them by the kids’ pediatrician. When they came over to finalize the appearance, they asked her if she would take away the kids’ toys the day before and delay feeding them until after the shoot to make them cranky. That’s when she kicked them out of her house.

      Reality TV at it’s best!

    • madepiley says:

That’s terrible. Glad your friend kicked them out.

    • Lena1 says:

Serioulsy?? Thats terrible!! I would have kicked them out also!!

Well I am thinking the NJ producers do that to Tree too. Not that they get her permission to do it but they prolly deliberately show up late for filming to catch the kids losing their minds from boredom. Thanks to Alex we do know that production pulls that crap all the time just to get grown adults agitated so I could imagine the effect it would have on little kids that are all dressed up waiting hours upon hours for the crew to show up and prolly not being allowed to play in the meantime for fear of messing up the house or their clothes.
Remember last season when Gia was so hungry when her momma took her to MeGo’s house? I blame the crew for that. In fact they prolly do that on a fairly consistent basis to Tree since its been dialoged that she is late all the time. Trying to make her look like a disrespectful twit. Funny thing is when she has her book signings she is not late.. MeGo is though.

That’s disgusting about the Super Nanny show…I popped in on it occassionally and found the Brit Jo to be pretty effective.

    • Bizzymammabee says:

I can totally see them doing this stuff. Remember the episode where Milania was eating ice cream straight out of the bucket. I have no idea what parent of a young, mischevious and energetic child like Milania would allow her to have access to a huge bucket of ice cream if they didn’t have a death wish. Active kids and a whole bucket of ice cream is a big no no unless you want them bouncing off of the walls.

  2. Susie says:

The Whoregas and Tre can join the show and switch out their kids. That way they can get to know their neices and nephews and get paid.Would be a train wreck.

  3. madepiley says:

So odd, I was just talking about King Curtis last night. Sounds like wife swap.

  4. pjbottoms says:

Why subject the kids to this nonsense? $$

  5. I don’t think it’s a show I would be interested in watching at all. I use to watch Super Nanny and found it to be a good show. Jo was good with the kids. Had no idea the poor things were starving.

  6. TV Junkie says:

I believe the producers would sink this low to get the kids cranky on film. Remember on RHOBH when PamDana (Dana Who?) had the infamous game night and everyone was starving and only had meringues and breadsticks to eat? Supposedly, the producers delayed filming and everything drug on so late. Dana may not have been planning on filming being that long and she didn’t have a lot there for the ladies to eat. We all know how cranky the BH ladies got that night!

  7. angryinnv says:

i know these kids are not actors, but i would still think there is some overseeing agency watching over them to make sure they are treated properly, which means they would not be allowed to be starved so they could ask an aunt for food. i think that are laws that protect these children even if they don’t have the “actor” status. and if there isn’t, there should be. i have to believe there is.
