The Real Housewives franchises have become a guilty pleasure for me and I've become intrigued by 'normal' people who would agree to put their lives on television for public display and scrutiny. What are their motives to divulge their daily routines for viewing audiences to approve, reprimand, berate, castigate, attack; basically abuse and judge? Oh, just forget about the above nonsense... the majority of these people are just stoo-pid.

    Did Alex just discover the word Oi? At least she is not laughing like a horse anymore. I like the commentary, pretty right on excpet for her perception of Sonja.

      She managed to get in one of her signature giggles she lets fly when she has just thoroughly tickled with herself over her own wit. I ‘spect these giggle fits are actually written down on the cue card/dry erase board.

      I still hear Simone’s voice in her dialoged. The ‘yikes” part. And Luanna DID affirm when Sonja asked if she wanted to get pregger to keep Jawks.

    Darn – this is just a recap – and just an mundane recap at that. I liked it when Alex explained the behind scenes manipulation – and Bravo should have backed off her rumorfix report. Alex’s “behind the scenes” greatly add to the show. But it seems as if Alex caved under some kind of pressure. After reading Julie Klausner’s recap of RHNYC on vulture.com, Alex’s recap is a letdown.

    Alex – stand up for yourself – you’re at your best when you are talking about what really goes on. You are the only former housewife who has promise!

      Yes! There seems to be a couple of sharp divisions in reactions to some of the things on RHONY. I find Aviva’s father beyond disgusting. I feel as if I can smell the air around him and it’s dirty. And then poopie the pig? I’m not sure what is more gross – Aviva’s dad or poopie the pig.
