SH had a nice chat with Barbara Frederickson, Russell Armstrong’s first wife, earlier this week. SH was preparing a piece for the one-year anniversary of Russell Armstrong’s death this month, August 15, and wanted an update from Barbara.
Milania and Gabriella Giudice…
In the meantime, the item re the Facebook attack on Teresa Giudice’s five-year-old daughter, Milania, appeared.
SH cannot stop thinking about the children of reality shows.
These innocent children have no say and no control over how they appear. They are appendages of their parents, who have signed away their own lives to Bravo, Lifetime, TLC… whichever network their parents have given permission to share their little lives with the world.
How anyone could label these children; or describe them negatively; or even discuss their behavior is beyond comprehension. They are CHILDREN… they are innocents in an adult “reality” world, which we all know is not their REAL reality! They are children behaving as children.
SH received messages “demanding” that SH write an item re Gia Giudice’s behavior during the “Field Games” episode. IMO, there was nothing to write… IMO, the scenes with Gia Giudice should not have been aired. End of story. NOTE: No one “demands” anything from SH… why these people thought “demanding” would result in an item on SH is laughable.
It is painful to know that a child, any child, is being treated cruelly by ANY adult… but more so being treated cruelly because they are behaving AS A CHILD on a television show… in front of, according to Bravo ratings information, “millions” of viewers.
Because these children are unwitting pawns in an adults’ game of chess, SH’s rule of “no bashing” children will be strongly enforced.
Back to Barbara Frederickson…
“Aiden is still struggling with Russell’s passing. It really stinks for him since his birthday is the 26th. He carries pictures of Russell in his wallet and on his graduation from 8th grade was able to wear one of Russell’s ties thanks to his Grandfather, Louie. Of course I was a puddle during the ceremony because I knew Aiden would have loved to have him there.
Shana is really a piece of work. I hope one day she backs off this situation but for now she seems to be going full throttle. I feel for Kennedy.”
Barbara has much more to say; however, SH has come to the decision that the August 15 piece will not be published, out of respect to Russell Armstrong and all of his children. There will be a photo of Russell on SH on August 15.
As far as putting out any further information re Shana “Taylor Armstrong”… whether it be her continued romps through the “domestic violence” talk show circuit or her cruise ship adventure… there will be nothing further on SH focusing Shana. How this person can continue to make money from the death of another human being is mind boggling. How this person can continue to make money from her “beloved” husband who took his own life is beyond inhumane.
NOTE: If Shana is included in an item re the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, it will be on SH… otherwise, SH is a “NO SHANA” zone from this point on.

Great job, SH! This is how things should be on all sites. The kids should be left out of the picture. Especially when they are as young as the Giudice girls. Keep up the great work!

I remember when i was on IMDB and someone posted a link about Taylor i was kind of courious because i thought this site would be all about her but when i started reading here in February i became addicted because it’s amazing to have a housewife blog that’s all about celebrating all the housewives stoopidity. With the exception of NJ are kids really highlighted on HW’s? I think Dance Moms & Toddlers & Tiaras highlight the kids more.

Attacking children just shows how cruel social media has become.
It is the parents that put their girls in the limelight under circumstances that will hurt them. It is child abuse by the parent, namely Teresa as she is the one that misuses them as a gateway for story lines against her family and other members of the show. The other minor children are not misused this way. Joe Giudice couldn’t care less and lets Teresa give permission to Bravo. Bravo is in this for profit, and if they are given permission to film such minor children during Joe’s drunken tirades, and during their meltdowns and behaving controversially towards their siblings and other family members (call for help that no one hears because being a fan of Teresa takes priority, not the girls) then they will do it. They are tools–misused tools through Teresa’s permission. There needs to be a child protection moderator looking over Teresa’s girls because she certainly isn’t.

WOW Ms. SH, I don’t know how I feel about your decision regarding Taylor. Your decision not to give her a platform will certainly send a message. The reason I am conflicted is because it may also serve Taylor’s purpose by not highlighting her obvious contractions and inconsistencies. Whether we like her or hate her, this site always provided intelligent debate.
I agree Antonella. I don’t like giving Traylor publicity, but I also think the best way to show how awful she is is to, well, show how awful she is! I myself would not have seen the real story without the info here.
Me either kel, That’s why it’s important to report the good and the bad. At the same time, I understand shutting her down.

I agree with you both Kel and Antonella. I am also torn because I do believe that people like her should not benefit from their vile actions by getting publicity, but I wouldn’t have known the truth about her if I hadn’t found this site. She will get publicity elsewhere and it will probably not be honest information- the info. here at least tempers any “good” publicity she may gain elsewhere based on lies.
I think that those of us who frequent SH are fully aware of shana’s character thanks to ms SH’s grueling work on the subject. I agree with her that the best statement can be made by showing her zero attention
Excellent move! These kids are at the mercy of these grasping parents and it is they who should be taken to task not some poor child who, as you indicated, has no control over their stunts.
As for Shana/Taylor/Whatever, another excellent move. We all know these morons read these blogs and any hint of publicity feeds into their insufferable egos. She is a monster and Bravo is disgusting for allowing her to appear for yet another season. Worse still are her phony castmates who continue to stick up for her. She is worthless.
She is nobody’s “role model” or “voice” for victims of domestic abuse and it is a shame that anyone saw fit to make that claim on her behalf.
Speaking for myself, I like this blog because it never takes itself seriously. By that I mean there is never a hint of bias toward any one of these fake “stars” as it is an Equal Opportunity for bashing these phonies since they deserve it.

I’m certain Shana has already been booked on talk shows. What Bravo did is despicable. My thoughts are with his children… I know that both Barbara and Milette are protecting their boys; however, if in this very small way, SH is a part of that “protection,” I am honored to do it. TFC!!! I absolutely agree with you, Ms. SH, and we may never know the whole truth regarding this tragic issue. Shana disgusts me to no end, and I feel for Russell’s children as well. I’m wondering who is really parenting Kennedy – Shana is almost never photographed with her at her side. I just am finding it hard to believe that after all the negative written and aired about her phony, grifting ways that there would be any organization, let alone a domestic violence group, who would have her be their spokesperson. I just want her bony ass outta my sight!!!!

Bravo peeps def reads SH!! They need to monitor their own comments section better. People bash the young ( MANZOS!! You’re FAIR GAME) RHONJ kids all the time on there with no editing. Typical Bravo behavior letting it slide and probably egging it on.
I was so disturbed by what ADULTS were saying about Milania on the other post ,I couldn’t even bring myself to comment. I was and am speechless.
Personally, I find it in bad taste that Bravo renewed her contract. It would have been so easy to have let her go to be with her daughter. I think she would have generated more empathy by going about her business privately. It will BA interesting to see what happens now that She is persona non grata.

Props there SH I clowned on the kids 1 time but I see how it was unfair. They don’t ask to be on these shows & hey no kid is perfect; My kids are great but I honestly don’t know how they’d be with a reality show cam lurking & egging them on. I do think Bravo encourages their behavior as do their parents. @PJ Bottoms & I agree with you on the FB thing Bravo needs to leave the kids out 100 % they can be background & that is IT!

Why would someone start something like that about a 5 year old? Have our laws not caught up yet with the Net? Hasn’t there been young people a bit older who have taken their own lives and lives of others because of this type thing??

Taylor/Shana is a terrible human being and I am glad this site will no longer acknowledge her. There is no doubt in my mind that she had something to do with Russell’s “suidice”.
I saw that FB post with Milania and I was disgusted! The people making those comments had no friend list and profile was very shady. Says a lot of people are making up a facebook page to bash a child. If you think your actions are right in attacking a child, you would be able to post with your own name. I hold Bravo and Andy Cohen responsible for the way the Giudice girls are being shown. I find it disgusting that the other housewives have taken shots at Gia and Milania. Bonnie, who doesnt want anyone talking about her granddaugther has been very vocal about not only Teresa, but her girls too. Why is Bonnie out for blood where she is spending every moment of her day going after Teresa? As for the other kids, Victoria Wakile is 18 now, so I intend on saying what I have been holding in about that cross eyed, stoned looking brat that thinks she is big sh*t on twitter. That Wakile family is right up there with the Manzos. just like the Manzos they were likable their 1st season and their true colors start showing as the seasons go on. I may not like Melissa, but I would nEVER attack her child because of that. I think the Gorga kids are adorable, especially little Joey.

The really dumb guests are the ones that actually respond judgementally – like KATHY! He might think that some of the questions are just innocent little questions but the only thing he achieves by doing that is setting the kids up for EVERYBODY to judge them. ANDY IS AN A**HOLE.

Thank you so much for protecting the innocent children from being attacked by viscous adults! I have messaged your stand against bullying to Bravo, NBC, CNN, and other news outlets. Hopefully the RT website will follow suit. When I saw Milania’s photo on Bravo’s Facebook website, I could not believe they allowed such vile attacks against her. One man even said he wanted to put Milania over his lap and spank her! It seems that Bravo has gone to the dark side and Andy Cohen is losing it. I would hope that the other reads would contact Bravo, NBC and Andy Cohen on their Facebook pages and let them know how they feel about this vile situation. It is the only way to protect the children. Thank you again SH!!!

I applaud SH for the strong stance against bullying and discussing the minor children on Reality TV. I also believe that it is high time that producers for all of the networks seriously consider the long term damage being done to these children at a time that they are unable to make decisions for themselves. But, of course, as long as the networks have viewers and are making money, it is highly unlikely that anything will change.
As for Russel’s children. My heart has ached for all of them throughout the past year. Suddently loosing their father under any circumstances would be very difficult. But, add in the suicide and the reality tv factor, must have made it all even more heartbreaking. Then to top it all off, Shana and her “Hot minute book deal” and all of her appearances and publicity is beyond disgusting and inexcusable! I am just shocked, that anyone would be supporting Shana at this point?? Hopefully, Shana and her public presence will soon disappear. For this reason, I understand and respect the “No Shana Zone” on SH!
I hope that Russel’s children can truly heal from all of this and get back the joy and wonder that they deserve as children!
So sad to read that Russell’s sons obviously haven’t gotten anything of their father’s as Traylor had promised. It takes a special kind of cruelty not to give children keepsakes from their father. Traylor certainly wouldn’t give jewelery or anything of value, but a tie or a belt, anything? The more one hears about this woman, the more despicable she becomes. Good call by Ms. SH to banish her.

As so many have already stated, I am glad that you showcased the provable lies and scams–so plentiful in number–of Shana NOT FORD Armstrong. This was the first site, that I know of, that was tenacious enough to conduct painstaking research to unearth her multiple layers of deception, distortion, and greed. I truly believe that b/c of the hard work done by you, Shana’s book did not generate the sales she was counting upon as she imagined a windfall of cash.
Russell’s 3 children, family members, and friends have endured so much pain, and I completely agree with your decision to not feature any stories about his second wife with multiple names.
I hope Bravo follows and no longer films anyone under the age of 18. if there was no pay the HW may reconsider. The whole Milania fiasco should open some eyes. In fact get rid of all the kids no matter what their age. There is enough drama without them!
