According to the Enquirer, Adrienne saw an item saying that husband, Paul Nassif, had an affair with a 19-year-old who worked in his office… Adrienne exploded, starting the discord leading to Adrienne and Paul’s divorce.
Adrienne Maloof’s VERY CRYPTIC statement re her impending separation/divorce from husband of nine years, Paul Nassif:
“I’m so sorry that this is happening but my children are my life and sometimes we need to do what’s best for them,” Adrienne said.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Adrienne Maloof’s marriage to plastic surgeon, Dr. Paul Nassif, is on the rocks, and the couple is talking about formally separating, multiple sources close to the couple tell ROL exclusively.
Maloof and Nassif have been married for over nine years, and have three sons together.
It’s been a grueling season of taping for the upcoming season of the hit Bravo television show, and our sources tell us that has taken a toll on their marriage.
“There is no other person. It’s for a variety of reasons that they are contemplating separation. Adrienne was dragged through the dirt during filming of the upcoming season, and it really wore on her. Paul and Adrienne have always fought, it’s how they were as a couple. However, at this point, they realize that they are just want very different things, and neither one of them is happy in the marriage,” an insider tells RadarOnline.com exclusively.
“Neither one is ready to pull the plug and file for divorce, they are trying to figure out the best way to deal with this, and there is a lot of love between Paul and Adrienne. If they didn’t love each other as much as they do, either one would just walk away without looking back. They aren’t at that stage yet, and are discussing a separation,” another source close to the situation tells us.
Adrienne didn’t go on a trip with the other housewives to Paris, France, as because she was fed up with the drama. “Adrienne Maloof decided not to go because the other girls keep ganging up on her, and it just got to the point of being utterly ridiculous,” the insider previously told us.
Making matters worse, the reunion show of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is going to be filming on Monday night at an undisclosed location.
NOTE: Doubt VERY much if reunion filming is taking place tonight. Kyle was in NY over the weekend… she needs at least a month to apply her makeup!!

Adrienne saying the girls are “ganging up on her” is the pot calling the kettle. Everybody saw the way she, Kyle and Taylor went after Lisa on last years reunion. When the fans backed Lisa instead of the mean-girl trio she had to go into the “poor me” victim act. It’s obvious that Adrienne can dish it out but heaven forbid somebody has the nerve to call her out.

In fact if his wife allowed him to speak even 5 seconds we would have known that they thought she was lying on her husband about the abuse and everything else. But you see in our society we are supposed to believe the victim, but the problem is that sometime the victim is manipulating the emotions of people.

How badly do these women seek “fame” that they would sacrifice their marriages and relationships for the opportunity? That’s a question never put to them as they grasp whatever it is that keeps them in the spotlight.
Listening to their cheesy excuses as to why relationships and family dynamics fail, you would think that Bravo is holding a gun to their heads to perform. Here is another couple with 3 kids facing a marital break up and blaming it on a stupid t.v. series that no one forced them to partake in.
The women on the NJ franchise whine and complain about each other and what it is doing to their families yet not one of them is willing to let go of the spotlight. They claw and throw poop at one another yet few can actually give an adequate reason why they would stay in a program that is designed for just that. The “drama” is manufactured and the pressure to “perform” is tearing their personal lives apart yet they remain season after season as their private lives are revealed as “entertainment”.
Even assuming that the Maloof/Nassif marriage may have had some difficulties before this series began, it would be safe to suggest that the presence of cameras and the producers directions would highlight the issues.
These people are beyond stupid in allowing themselves to be showcased this way and the women themselves are delusional as the price of fame may be too high a penalty to pay in the end.
As this franchise eventually comes to an end they may want to ask themselves if any of this crapola was ever worth it.
Bravo prolly dont give a rats long tail about ruining marriages….. unless its a gay marriage that ends up going bust.

I agree. And Adrienne took full advantage of the show, coming out with shoes, face care line and I think some kind of vodka. She has only herself to blame. I never knew why Paul was with her in the first place, he seems much more laid back and grounded.
Due to the number of marriages/relationships/friendships that have bit the dust since the HWs series started, you have to admit that these people involved are not exactly “the norm” – they all love drama, want attention/fame/money, fairly to immensely narcissistic, and are willing to sacrifice just about anything to get it, and many of them have done just that. We have watched so many of their lives unravel on national television, and I suspect many of their lives were not that perfect when it all started.

EXACTLY! Look at Heather from RHOC. She claims to have a fabulous life so why is she doing the show? She also presents herself as being very intelligent. A truly intelligent, well educated and well adjusted person would NOT sell her privacy or her children’s privacy for the 15 minutes of fame and D list celebrity that comes with being a Bravo Housewife like Heather has.

Adrienne came out with the same flavored vodka Red Velvet Cake as Kathe RHNJ did. I am surprised Kathy hasn’t pitched a bitch about that (of course blaming Teresa) since Adrienne came out with hers after Kathy’s. Adrienne launch party was way over the top, Kathy’s launch party probably had a tent and construction paper signs.
Doesn’t the season also have to be fully edited by the time the reunion tapes?

It’s always sad to see a divorce happen; but there is so much drama that comes out of this franchise; it seems more so than the others? You can tell by the men, some of them go with the flow; you can tell some don’t want to be part of it and I can only imagine at times the stress it can put on a home, relationship and I still question the younger kids; the long term effects it may have; especially if the youger kids are exposed to a lot of drama. It apprears Reality is to real for this franchise.
Let’s add up the score:
1. Russell Armstrong headed off a divorce that was in the making.
2. Vicki and Donn.
3. Tamra and Simon.
4. Mary and Rich Amons from the DC franchise.
5. Stacy and Jason from the DC franchise.
6. Paul and Adrienne.
7. LuAnn and the Count.
Throw in Camille, Brandi, dragging their marital problems along with them, and the recent issues with Bethenny and Jason, and you have to question their motives.
Some of those NJ marriages look a little rocky: Teresa and Juicy Joe, along with problems that may come out regarding Melissa and Joe G as she claws her way to “fame and fortune” while Jacqueline spends most of her time Twittering about the others which must be some “hot tip” that things at home aren’t looking so great either.
And don’t tell me Mario would like nothing more than to throw Ramona into the East River then telling the world she is in Italy stomping grapes.

Can’t understand why somebody as wealthy as Adrienne Maloof would bother joining up with a D-list reality series. She has more money than lots of Hollywood A-list actors. She could have started any business she liked without putting her life in the public eye.
Just google Maloof financial trouble and you will see that they are in serious trouble if not broke or illiquid but have stuff still in paper for know.

Timing of announcment is fishy!
I think the timing is fishy, as well. I think this sounds more like a legal separation to stop the clock ticking down to their 10 year anniversary and keeping the prenup valid, in case they do actually decide to divorce in the future. Sounds more like a business/financial decision to me. I can’t find the exact date of their marriage but if this year’s anniversary hasn’t passed yet, my bets are on this being a technical move. If it has passed, I’ve got nothin’.

Excellent point! I bet you’re right. We were just reading last week they were still in Paris. No way can editing be done on this season. How can they have a reunion when they don’t even know what’s going to be included in the season? I bet it is the final partay, and I could see Adrienne not going, but I’m pretty sure she will be at the reunion. I bet Bravo has a pretty tight contract on that after what Jackie pulled.
Why is Adrienne saying ‘it’s best for the children’, like they shouldn’t be around Paul?? Nice way to blame the kids Adrienne, because of them, you’re separating, most parents try to shield them from these types of statements so they don’t blame themselves. I don’t believe Adrienne for one second.
That was a major shot across Pauls front in the divorce. It’s best for the children, is there something wrong with Paul being around his and her kids? It’s not best for the children, it’s best for you.

Maybe she meant because they are fighting all the time and the children are showing signs of it? In that case, “best for the children” means “we deeply care for each other but our relationship will always be tumultuous and we want our children to grow up in a different home than the one we are providing at the moment.”

I liked them as a couple, the ten yr. theory does make sense though. I think what she was inferring was that being around constant bickering/arguing is probably now showing in her boys (not sure that they’re actually that self-aware, but that’s what I’d like to think), I didnt get that she meant anything against Paul.

If it’s true, I wouldn’t be suprised. Adrienne is so cold towards Paul, however, Paul seems to genuinely love Adrienne. The trip to Hawaii (iirc when Nobby No Mates declared “we don’t care” at dinner), Paul wanted to show Adrienne affection by simply holding her hand, yet she declined. Just one example of many I’ve noticed between the pair of them. Sorry for the kids though.

Adrienne has always been my least favorite housewife. She treats her husband with no respect, at least he tries to make an effort, at least for the cameras. Who knows what goes on behind closed doors. But what really made me dislike her was the way she treated Lisa at the reunion. I’m not saying Lisa is an angel, but her reactions were real and you could tell she was deeply hurt. Adrienne always called her the pot stirrer, but Adrienne always seemed passive aggresively, with a smile, to be the one doing the stirring. Just my 10 cents

I wonder: IF they really are filming the reunion, if Bravo is trying to throw the timeline off and confuse the viewers because of maybe some things that happened on the show that they want to manipulate?
Some people have stated opinions in the past few months that this is what’s happening with the New Jersey show. Some feel that Bravo has swapped episodes out of order and even filmed some fluff scenes to extend the season or to maybe take the heat off the Teresa bash. Bravo was getting some heat from every episode being nothing but a gang up on Teresa to take her down.
No one except the couple involved really know a relationship’s dynamics. Having said that, however, I am not surprised to read that Paul might have had an affair. Adrienne’s attitude towards him was condescending, dismissive, and distant. She rebuffed any attempts at affection. In short, Paul was starved for warmth and affection … and there are women out there who are able to provide it. He’s a very attractive, clever, intelligent man.
Yada – good point. No one knows the true dynamic of this marriage. I have to say though, if I found out my husband had an affair with a 19 yo (read..kid!) I would be hard pressed to show him any affection on OR off screen!

They taped the final scenes of season 3 on Monday not the reunion. Also they have a wrap party that Adrienne is “supposedly” not attending. Also Season 3 premiere is in Oct.
I am actually surprised these two lasted this long. First season of RHOBH I really liked Adrienne and love Paul! Second season I thought she was a class A bitch and the way she talked to her husband was horrid and if he ended the marriage can’t say I blame him because she is a bitch to him. Like the Hawaii trip, he was all happy about them having time alone just the two of them and she was passing rude remarks and saying she was “lost” without the kids………….hell if I was in Hawaii with my good looking husband with no kids I would be locked in the room with a DND sign on the doorknob. Good luck to her and her bitchy self, shes gonna need it and Paul I am sure will land on his feet just fine.
Dr Paul was in NY recently and had a night out on the town with non other than the sophisticated Creepy Richie. I am not sure if the umpa lumpa went along too (I think he did). Can u imagine the menza dinner conversation!! The Chucklets had to decline cause they were in Canada promoting black sludge.

so easy to blame bravo and these housewives franchises for the break-ups of their marriages. this country has a lot of divorce. if the marriage is not working it’s maybe that the people married to each other are not working either – on their marriage. maybe some do the show to stay away as much as possible from their spouse by being on the show. maybe some of the spouses are happy to see their wives away so much while filming. we don’t know what goes on in other people’s homes. before we decide who is gay and who is straight, it would be nice to find out the real truth about adrienne and paul’s divorce. 3 children are involved. don’t think people should go around calling her a lesbian when they don’t know it for a fact, and when their children’s friends can hear about this trash in school.
