It doesn’t matter how she acts on a “reality” show… she is FIVE years old!!! I was hesitant to post this, as it will simply bring attention to these ADULTS who wish anything negative toward a CHILD!

Facebook Jerks Want to ‘Beat the Shit’ Out of Teresa Giudice’s 5-Year-Old Daughter
“It began innocuously enough on Monday when someone from Bravo posted picture of Milania Giudice to The Real Houswives of New Jersey Facebook page asking fans of the reality show to “share” if they missed Teresa’s daughter, who was absent from the most recent episode. It has since devolved into a mess of nearly 1200 comments talking shit on the little girl’s personality and appearance, calling her names like “bitch” and “troll,” and more disturbingly, many users expressed their desire to physically harm her. She’s five.
The craziest thing about the vicious comments is that they aren’t anonymous. People’s real names and pictures are directly connected to the disgusting things they’ve said about a child. It makes it all so much more absurd and senseless. Here, I’d always thought that the more hateful comments on the Internet were made by angry, ignorant young people who have nothing better to do with their time. Evidently, that’s not true!
Case in point, Linda L Goolsby, a grandmother of seven, is not above calling a child ugly:
there is nothing cute about her, she is ugly inside and out. she has the worst mother and father there ever is.
Then there’s 50-ish Angie Costillo, who isn’t afraid of going on the record about child abuse:

None of it surprises me a bit. When tragedy hit my family a few years ago, I posted a rest in peace post and got so much online support. But, I also got trolls who said the most unimaginably cruel things. Can you even fathom the mentality of people who would troll a grieving mother’s blog? Well, they do. The less attention paid to them, the better. Karma will get them.

I don’t do facebook, so I am not sure of the rules, but is setting up a facebook page whose whole raison d’etre is to bash a 5 year old child against the rules? If not, why not?
I thought it was. A few friends of my husband’s set up a page named, “I hate John” for a friend named John. It was just a joke and people used it to post funny anecdotes about John, but Facebook made them take it down just because it had “hate” in the title!! And John is a 40-something man who posted a lot on the page himself!
Yes it is against the rules although there seems to be a varying levels of response from Facebook. Other users who view the page have to report it. Sometimes Facebook takes immediate action and the page or offensive comment is removed. The person who created it can even be banned. Others times (such as in this situation) the page stays for quite awhile. Honestly I am a bit suprised that it wasn’t immediately removed given the numbers of people who must have reported it as inappropriate. Of course no one can compare with Bravo’s swift ability to remove any comment on Carowhine or Jax’s blog that dares suggest that those two are not the epitome of wisdom,sanity, wifedom,and motherhood.
I am just so incredibly glad that their names were posted. Thank you SH. They are now trying to hide but it’s cyberspace. It stays forever. The fact that so many of these posters have children just makes me sick.

I can’t believe that Bravo allowed this on their facebook page “The Real housewives of New Jersey”. How they could ignore such a nasty comments about a little girl from adults some of them even have grandchildren!!! I am currently don;t have access posting comments on that page because I got so upset reading these adults bashing 5 years old child with nasty comments that I called them the most horrible names ever. I am not a shame of it when comes to defending a child. I will do it over and over. The problem is not that there are people who are going to make negative comments about a child on the Internet. Those people will always exist. The problem is that two parents put their children in a position to be ridiculed by the morons who don’t know it’s not okay to comment on a defenseless child who did not make the decision to put her five-year-old self on a reality television show.

No…it does not apply in this situation. Ashley is legally an adult and has the ability to make the decision to remove herself from the cameras. Wow – one word….despicable! What kind of adult bashes on a child like that? I was a wild child as a kid that regularly fought with my 5 siblings. Yes, I was disciplined but it’s just what we did as kids. I’m not a serial killer, I’ve never been to jail and I’m a contributing member of society who hasn’t hit another person since I was around 10 years old. Newsflash: not everybody raises their children the same way, and not every child who gets parented a certain way comes out the same. Teresa’s daughters are beautiful. No, they do not behave like “typical” little girls, they remind me of young boys. It happens sometimes when a family is all girls and the dad roughhouses with them to fill the void of not having a son. Well i like Milania, and i like children with personality. Maybe it’s because i have a big personality myself. I have met children like her and BELIEVE they can talk for HOURS and they seem VERY interesting and lively. I don’t think she behaves badly, i think BRAVO CHOSE these scenes BECAUSE the child is POPULAR. NO…her parents shouldn’t quit the show because of these comments, if that’s the case , then, Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes should quit the film business. PEOPLE SHE IS A FIVE YEAR OLD…and we’re only seeing a glimpsed of their lives. ALSO… It’s like me saying (i know i’m gonna get flack for this) that CJ (jac’s son) might have down syndrome…KNOW WHY? because the boy rarely speaks, EVEN WHEN SPOKEN TOO, his behavior seems NOT NORMAL…does he have down syndrome? lisa — your Mom obviously saw the jewel within. My daughter was also quite shy with a physical disability and a “well meaning” daycare teacher suggested that she was autistic as well. Being she was in no way qualified to make that diagnosis on a two year old she knew for two days, we had my daughter removed from that class asap. PS She too grew out of both the shyness and can keep up with any kids her age. Moral of the story: Dont judge a book by its cover.
Sadly, that child acts that way because the “parents” allow it. IMHO the child is not pretty, but then I thought that of the Olsen twins and their looks improved when they became adults. Just hope all the girls turn out better then their parents…..

My son is just as sassy as lil Milania and I am happy that he is. No one is going to take advantage of him, bully him or assault him in any way! If any of them have children in their homes, they should be cautious. CPS does not agree with corporal punishment and in many states it is grounds for removal!!

I didn’t read all of the posts here on this thread, but when Bravo pushes children into the public spotlight and then goes on and on about how cute her behavior is, then they (and the parents) have to expect some backlash. I’d be scared if I were Teresa. There are some sick people out there. Her children need to be protected. I also believe they need better guidance and better role models than what she has. From an observer’s point of view, I feel like I’m on an out-of-control carnival ride when I watch those kids.

IMO The show has stripped these children of the privacy they deserve. Teresa’s girls have been front and center from the very beginning. Yes, they’re cute and precocious, but these little girls should not be used to promote their parent’s reality TV show. Tre and Juicy have enough celebrity now and they should limit the amount of time the girls spend in front of the camera, on tabloid covers, and even on her web site which is used for the advertisement of her products.

As both a viewer and an educator of young children, I find this whole incident extremely disturbing and makes me sick to my stomach. Are there malicious internet aholes out there? Yep, obviously. But I put 100% of the blame for this on the parents and Bravo. A 5 y.o. can’t give meaningful consent to being exploited, they can’t weigh the consequences, that’s the parents’ job, no matter how much or how loud that kid says “i want to be on tv too” a kid doesn’t understand how cruel and double edged that attention actually is. Just look how well (actual) child actors turn out–like, oh, Kim Richards???
I am more than a little late but I just read this and am deeply saddened by it. I don’t like a lot of what Teresa says and does I also think Milania needs to be corrected instead of laughed at but this says more about those who spoke than it does the child. If we as adults can’t see that then what chance do the children have? No wonder bullying is such a issue in our culture.
