I kind of disagree. I actually thought this was the first time he DIDN’T kiss her a*s. He didn’t avoid the tough questions even though she was made visibly uncomfortable by them, and when she gave stupid/bullsh*t/non answers, he didn’t smooth it over for her. He just rolled his eyes and went ” ummm, OKAY then!” in a very sarcastic tone. I think he’s done protecting her and her good-fer-nothin’ offspring. I could be wrong though.

Your totally right, I think they are done protecting them. I think that they are seeing the bash Teresa hour is playing out. And many fans can’t stand Chucky or her hell spawn and the others.
I agree with this. It was a nice (small, but nice) change in the way he interacts w/ Caroline on his show. I found it incredibly annoying that she constantly was all ‘yah, thanks Andy!’ in a sarcastic almost spiteful way, making other comments about the ‘hardships’ of being on the show and pretty much whining about having to go to the reunion. Puh-leeze!!! Nobody forced her and her family into this. They are loving the paycheck and whatever benefits they are receiving by being on the show! I’m sure they aren’t thrilled about the fact that a lot of us viewers really can’t stand to watch them for another second.
She was so condescending toward viewers, really can’t see her sticking around after this season. Can’t take the heat, GTFO of the kitchen! It’s as if she doesnt’ consider the fact she woudn’t be getting paid if we weren’t watching, the same people she constantly insults! UGH

I haven’t watched this yet but personally, I hate when people bring unannounced dogs to my house. Nobody cares, really, nobody cares about the damn dog.
I had an overweight daughter (largely due to medical reasons and overeating). She has since lost her weight, looks great, feels great. But it was her decision and her timing – I couldn’t do it for her but supported her effort. My job as her mother was not to remind her she was overweight – she saw it ever time she looked in the mirror. My job was to remind her she was loved, she was important and I needed to keep her self imagine high which in this cruel world was not easy.
THANK YOU, NonnaB!! It is NEVER a good idea for a mother to comment on her daughter’s weight. It actually has the reverse intended effect. I CRINGED when I heard Caroline say these words in the video above. Children are already aware, I’m sure, based on feedback from peers, how they appear to others. Young ladies should be supported, just as you have done. I applaud you for your sensitivity and care.
It bothers me how Chuckie so publicly humiliated her daughter about her weight. It would be one thing to say something in private, but to criticize her publicly just so Chuckie can have a storyline other than slamming Teresa. She is a lousy mother an human being.

Do you remember the closet session? Lauren strolls in clearly with the intention of bringing up her weight struggle and how sh*tty she feels about herself. There’s Chuck going through all her clothes and deciding which ones to throw/give away because SHE is SO tiny now! That wasn’t an accident; that wasn’t simply insensitive IMO. I think it was absolutely intentional on Chuck’s part and a clear example of how she GETS OFF on making her daughter feel less than. We all know how ” reality ” tv works. That scene was PLANNED pretty much start to finish. Chuck KNEW what Lauren was going to talk about, and she decides to go on about how much weight SHE has lost? She also mentioned something about being so tiny, her hands are the size of a “12 yr old” right as Lauren was trying to talk about HER feelings of self loathing DUE to her oversized body.
I’ve always thought the way she treats Lauren has a lot more to do with some kind of twisted jealousy than feeling embarrassed of her. She probably IS embarrassed to have a less-than-perfect daughter, but it’s more than that. I think she’s threatened by Lauren’s prettiness, her youth and probably even the relationship she has with Big Al. ( NO, I’m not implying THAT. Just saying they seem like a close father and daughter ) Lauren did need to lose some weight IMO, but the way she and Chuck talk about her appearance, you’d swear she weighed 700lbs and was covered with barnacles.
And Caroline never once mentioned the word ” health” until she got LOTS of backlash on sites like this for NOT ever mentioning health when talking about Lauren’s weight. When she did mention it, she claimed she and Big Al ” had to do something” about/for Lauren because her health was suffering. Okay, yes, no one is going to deny extra weight can and in almost all cases WILL cause health problems down the line, but they claimed Lauren blood pressure was ” through the roof”. It was ” through the roof” TEMPORARILY because SHE HAD AN ANXIETY ATTACK LAST SUMMER. How do we know this? Lauren talked about it on twitter. Caroline, the fat-faced LIAR that she is, tried to make it sound like Lauren’s BP was ” out of control” DUE to her weight and that’s why they HAD to pressure her so much. That was NOT the case. The case was that the poor girl has been so harassed and emotionally abused by her mother for years, she finally freaked out. ( Yes, I know, this is my OPINION, but I feel pretty strongly there’s a lot of evidence to support it )

MissAndy’s facial reaction (raised eyebrows) says a lot. He gave DonCaro an opportunity to either soften her comments about Sausage Lauren and the predicting Tre’s divorce and writing a book about it and DonCaro didn’t do it.
Yeah, predicting someone’s marital demise, and with such obvious RELISH, is unconscionable. She has sunk pretty low. She said “I don’t sell family,” in response to a viewer’s question about Dina. She apparently doesn’t feel that way about anyone Teresa.
This is why I am thinking Andy is bout done with her prima donna bullcrap.

Chris L. ( hiding / lurking behind either the sofa or off stage to watch and manage anything Jacko says).
Ritchie the lounge lizard ( with his shirt collar up but no enough to cover his face unfortunately or with a broken mike so we could not hear him).
Guest apearances with the gossiping construction guy. Any and all trades people who have cut the Guidce’s lawn, any plumber who fixed toilet or anyone who ever delivered pizza to ther house, as long as they smack talk the Guidices.
In the other corner …in a chair by herself under a hot light.. the “defendent”. The evil genius/ el stupido ( depends on which day of the week it is, cast mates can’t seem to makeup their minds ),business opportunity snatcher ( thief of all great promotional ideas except BLK) ,oblivious to reality/ percisely aware of all things ( depends what day of the week it is),the cause of everyone else in the cast having to fight for a piece of the pie. Doesn’t Bravo get a cut from the housewives deals, like Teresa’s cookbooks, and her endorsement deals? Why would Andy basically fuel the fire at the reunions, encouraging everyone to gang up on Teresa, when she is by far the biggest earner? She probably earns more with her cookbooks and endorsements than the other Jersey housewives together.

Andy didn’t avoid the uncomfortable questions with her this time, Rich. And she SNAPPED at him big time once. He asked her a question about Dina and I don’t remember the exact exchange – I think there was a follow-up question, but at any rate, it ended with her saying TO Miss Andy in a nasty, snappy tone ” It’s NONE of YOUR business. I don’t sell my family.” ( Yeah right ). She’s a bigger idiot than I thought if she believes she can go against Miss Andy and not suffer any repercussions for it. I’m praying I’m not wrong, but I strongly suspect she’s DONE and she knows it, otherwise she wouldn’t have talked that way to the Queen of the Housewives.

The question was actually read off a card from a fan so Caro was responding in a nasty way to the fan, not Andy. But I am sure the Don was angry Andy chose that question to ask.
I would hope that Andy is intelligent enough to see through all the gay love stuff that the Manzos, Lauritas and Wakiles are faking.
They are going out of their way to “prove” that they love the gay community to stay on Andy’s good side. They are making a mockery of it IMO by turning things so sleazy and X rated.
I do think that Kathy AND Rich had a hard time with Rosie being gay. I also wonder how accepting Caroline was of her brother until she got on the show as well. Then, there is JoeGo and MeGo. He is really pouring it on thick to the point of everyone wondering if he is gay. He doesn’t care, he is kissing up to Andy and Greggy big time to stay on their good side.

Chuckie doesn’t have a great relationship with Lauren as she claims. She tells Lauren what to like, how to run the store and what the name of the store will be. Chuckie is the boss and Lauren backs down.
Lauren said last episode that her om is a bulldog and she can’t talk to her without her mom going apeshit and she wishes it could be different. Lauren basically said Caro is not letting her make any decisions in the store. Their relationship is not that great. Lauren still lives at home and works for her mom since her mom owns most of the store. So she has to deal with her mom;’s crap.
I have to give Lauren credit – she KNEW ” Cafface” and the concept behind it was STOOPID and not going to land well with the public. She said as much in last week’s episode. But Chuck always gets her way! And since most of the $$$$ invested in this little venture came from Chuck’s pocket, Chuck will take the hit financially when it fails. Good job, Chuck, you’re gonna lose your shirt, but at least you still get to dominate and bully everyone around you.

Even more so than that, I think Lauren will only give a half-assed effort because it is just another way for her mother to control her and she wants the business to fail. In no universe does it make sense for Caroline to be the majority owner of the business. Lauren needs to shut it down and find a way to start her own business without her overbearing mother, or she will never be successful.
I simply don’t understand Cafface – first of all neither Lauren nor her mom seem to have any business experience in the beauty industry – second, they have taken over the space previously occupied by a VERY successful Chateau which we all know Lauren was a one-day flunkee of – meanwhile, Chateau has remained in Franklin Lakes at a larger venue because they have expanded with their popularity to include a coffee bar, clothing, makeup, flowers, hmmmmmm – aren’t those the very things Lauren hopes to include? Chateau obviously has a devoted clientele and we’re not talking cheap rent in their previous location which is now Cafface- locals will continue to take their business to Chateau which will be better run with more professional staff – it is a real mystery who will go there – with the exception of tourists, WHO?? the rest of the cast are MILES away – don’t think Dina will show up…….
Lauren stole the coffee bar idea then from the new Chateau. They can’t do anything original. Who goes into a place to just get makeup done? I don’t get it. Lauren has LINDSEY the cheerleader doing spray tans! Just ridiculous. They also sell clothes and sunglasses. Why would I go in there to buy overpriced clothes?

I didn’t watch WWH because I couldn’t stomach the thought of seeing more of Chuckie. I was wondering after watching this clip, though, whether Meghan McCain weighed in on Chuckie berating Lauren for being fat. As someone who has been criticized and mocked for her weight, you would think that Meghan would have some strong feelings about this.
i missed WWHL too because i fell asleep, but when i saw that Meghan McCain was on the first thing i thought was “uh oh, this is a set-up”, We all know how Caroline Manzo feels about chubby girls. If Meghan truly watches the show, then she is aware of how Caroline treated her own daughter about the weight issue, i wouldn’t put it past Andy to set this up just to make it awkward for Meghan.
