Once again the talk went straight from bee-ell-kay to Tre. Even the interviewer wasn’t interested in anything they had to talk about except Tre.
True point cherrylipgloss, she was holding BLK while Albie tried to talk about it ~ she ignored him and asked Jax about Tree, So funny.
Nobody is interested in Jax, so the only thing of interesst she can talk about is Tre. Jax sure looks like she’s gained back a lot of weight from drinking all that black sludge tea.
Terrible self presentation.
Her brief speaking time was full of “ummms”. Noticed that on earlier clips, too.

Interviewer says they are there for a very important cause… Very old trick to team your for profit business with a local charity to help build trust and interest. Done by door-to-door magazine salesmen 50 years ago.
Noticed at Food Show no one smiled at people when prompting water or sauce, such a basic, key approach public. Moron Manzo mentality.
It is indeed a very old trick. One time a friend of mine invited our whole book club over to her house to talk about a ” very important charity ” she wanted to turn us all onto and participate in. When we got there, she badgered us all into buying HER stuff because SHE was “planning on ” donating a small portion of the night’s sales to a charity. The actual charity WAS real, but it was clear her only interest in it was as a means to get us to buy her stuff. Did she ever actually donate a portion of her sales to that charity?? Doubtful. It’s not like we were going to check up on her and she knew it. Needless to say, we’re not such great friends anymore. The Manzos are old school hucksters.
Well when you team up and donate to the charity you get a tax break. That may be their incentive.
TamTresh is another huckster. Tamra’s Wines By Wives does the same thing – tie its product to a charity, though I don’t know what charity. I haven’t looked cuz it’s TamTrash’s business. Since when does Tamra know anything about wine? All she knows how to do is shots! Anybody know which charity she’s using to scam people into buying wine?

I thought it was odd how jax’s wasn’t looking at the reporter whaen she was talking about T. That just screamed lieing to me. Something is so off here!

A salesperson she is not and she doesn’t sound like she really believes in this product. Enough with the ummmms. Whenever Tre is on a TV show to promote her cookbook, she always hits all her talking points, has her recipes memorized and is enthusiastic about her product.
Tree has a very good coaching staff and she has come a long way since the beginning! Jacqueline needs to do some serious copying to get where she needs to go.

Bergen – I agree. People love to call Teresa stupid, and I’m certainly not going to argue with anyone who calls her “inarticulate”, but she has a certain kind of intelligence that gets her far in certain arenas, like business. As you said, she knows how to sell her product, and more importantly, I think, she TAKES ADVICE. It’s become CRYSTAL CLEAR that no one in the Manzo/Laurita clan is influenced by public perception of them at ALL. And public perception matters a lot when your very financial welfare depends on selling your sh*t to the viewers.
Guilty: Tree couldn’t think herself outta a tub ‘o Jello! For the 15 millionth time: Tree has EXCELLENT people advising her. And, Tree takes direction very well! Have to give credit to all of Tree’s people… they are the MOST professional, efficient and pleasant of reps… a pleasure to deal with. Any hints on the nasty ones?? I’ve met Tree at BEA each year she’s had a new cookbook out and have to say that she comes across as genuinely nice, but she’s never on time. Bet that drives her handlers nuts. But the lines to see her are always loooooooong.
I know this is all in fun but careful about the generalization that someone who comes across as “inarticulate” in person or on camera is “stupid.” Tre may just be like many people (myself included) who come across better in print and are not adept at speaking “off the cuff” in situations where an immediate response is required. I remember Tre also has said that English is her 2nd language and that she still thinks in Italian a lot. A lot of her stumbles are probably related to her searching for the English words in her head before she responds. I know cuz I teach kids who are English learners and I can tell when someone’s translating in their head and trying to put together a sentence. It doesn’t always come out right – thank God for PR people and coaches! That being said, how come Mr. In-Charge Laurita isn’t doing the talking here??? Thought it was HIS business? Maybe was doing a ventriloquist act w/Jax???
And I am NOT in any way shape or form defending Jax’s incoherence here…she IS stupid and can’t blame it on lack of English!

Tre Has been speaking english for 35 yrs You would think she would have gotten by now I know people who learned English in their middle age and they speak it much much better Then Tre who learned it as a small child.
Maybe Jax is not a good at interviews either If that excuse is good enough for Tre its Good enough for Jax to. My friend hates Job interviews and she stumbles all over them and looks like a Idiot But in person she is very articulate and to the point.

Love: Tree did not just come off the boat… her parents did. English is her first language. Been carefully observing Tree for two years… she is dumb as a boxa rocks. If you, or anyone, cares to… there are numerous videos on SH of Tree BEFORE her professional reps and PR people came on board… see for yourself that Tree can barely string two sentences together. Tree has had media coaches working with her… she now robotically repeats every talking point in every interview. OC: Tree got through HS… and on to a two-year AS from the Berkeley School of Fashion Merchandising, a trade school. Credits from these types of schools will not transfer to an accredited four-year college/university. TFC!!! SH

My guess is that Tre takes direction extremely well, is pleasant to work with and exhibits little to none of the entitled attitude these other putz’s exhibit. That was one of the worst interviews ever…that interviewer was so not interested in what they had to say about anything BUT Teresa. I bet that if Jac had said that she would LOVE to be friends with Teresa and that she was sorry that she listened to Caroline and Bravo, that woman would have spent an hour talking about BLK!!! because then there would not be anything else to talk about!!!

With blk by law if they claim that all their ingredients aids bodily functions in any way such as making you healthier etc you have to put in the disclaimer that the FDA has not evaluated this product etc. haven’t seen that on any of their ads or bottling. Also the Manzoids need to have their nutritional information readily available for people to read when hawking that sludge on their website. They only list a couple ingredients nothing about calories, servings per container, calories from fat, etc etc etc………I hope the FDA gets some more emails regarding these omissions.
Also, I hope they put a disclaimer on there saying that if you are pregnant not to drink it. I read some info on fulvic acid on the internet and pregnant women shouldn’t take it.
The FDA really needs to look into whether they are putting the info on their packaging that needs to be on there.
Exactly. They are going to have some major problems coming their way taking the shortcuts they have. Also increasing alkalinity in water is only temporary and lasts at maximum 3 days during which the alkalinity level is slowly lowering back down to the original level of the water that was used which is commonly in the 6-7 range. I would like to also know who is bottling it, where is the spring water coming from along with who is manufacturing and bottling the Manzoids sauce as well. All in the details.
Just coming out of Anatomy & Physiology, I am a little skeptical of the “alkaline” benefits of making water more basic. Each area of your body has a specific pH for a reason, and if you mess with it too much funky things could start happening!! I have also seen alkaline water for sale in a health store, and wondered about it as well at the time.
That’s interesting Coopsta. Is it possible that these “weird things” include messing with brain chemistry? Perhaps the cause of Bubbajax wacky antics (If she even drinks it which I doubt)? I also wonder if it could lead to more kidney stones in people that are predisposed to get them.
To me, If you are there to promote the product and the interviewer tried to bring up Teresa and away from blk. Why not down play it and leave it on a positive note. “Do you and Teresa still talk?” “Not right now.” “Do you think you will ever make up?” “Do you think that you will ever forgive her?” (for what I personally have no idea but anyway, insert typical Bravo answer) “You will just have to watch what happens.” But noooooo we have a tirade of blah blah sabatoge. One of the main reason that Teresa is so successful is due to her creating the products that got her started. She had her cookbooks that were based on her family recipe.She added stories about her family and friends to make it more than just another Italian or skinny cookbook. Next she created her own style of Bellini drinks. She waited until she had some success until she partnered with the teeth whitening and hair products. The rest of the Devils Army are only marketing a product that someone else created. The Manzo’s brought the right to market wines and black water. Lookers is marketing volka for Pitbull. I am not sure if Kathy’s drink has her name on it or not and frankly I could care less.

Some commenters wondered if this was a Bravo trip, how come more people didn’t go. I learned the other day that Canada has a very strict immigration policy–even for visits. If you have DUI you cannot just go into Canada–you have to do some paperwork and even then you might not make it. Soooo, we know why SOME people might not be able to make the trip!
That’s not true about Canada. Yes they have very strict immigration policies, but if you are driving in all you need is a passport card, and if under 16 a Birth Certificate is all that’s needed. If it was the case about DUI’s some of my family memebers (not proud, but they are family) wouldn’t of got in last month (sadly for a cousin who passed away). Canada does have strict DUI laws, we in the USA should follow then in regards to that. When me and my family go to Canada we get dropped off at the night club and cab it back, everyone does it. You see mom, dads, and even grandmothers dropping off family. You get out and there are rows, and rows of cabs. Luckly one of my sooooooooooooooo many cousins is a cab driver, so we get VIP…
In regards to Tree. I have stated before that although I was born in the USA, I didn’t speak English until I was 5 and started school. Due to attending Catholic school, that was part of our church, a lot of kids where like me or “fresh off the boat”. So we where actually taught in Portuguese and English being the second language. I’m in my 40’s and still have problems forming words or phrases correctly. I think in Portuguese 1st and then have to translate into English and come up with the right “phrasing” Ok that being said I understand the language “thinging” and understand how Tree gets things mixed up.

I hear it like that, just to realize it’s simply (bathroom). Now when I’m in Canada it’s washroom, but if you say “Onde está a lavender” (where is the laundry room) can in some homes mean “bathroom” instead of “laundry room”.
It can get confusing in the brain…LOL
